Dexter Season 7: Swim Deep Clips Feature Dexter Having Some Interesting Conversations

There are a couple of interesting plot developments that are really beginning to heat up during the seventh season of Dexter. Beyond Deb's attempts to understand her brother's situation for what it is, Dexter has been flirting (as much as a guy like Dexter can) with the former sidekick to a serial killer, and he's also gotten himself mixed up with a Ukranian criminal out for vengeance. These two issues are addressed in the clips we have to show you from this Sunday's "Swim Deep."

Last Sunday night, we learned that Isaak's determination to bring Viktor's killer to justice was personal. It was probably only a matter of time before one of Dexter's victims' friends attempted to get some payback. So many of the people Dexter targets are loners without anyone who would care enough to pursue Dexter and exact vengeance for their death. Viktor wasn't one of those guys though. He had a "friend" and a powerful one at that. Check out Dexter's phone conversation with Isaak here…



Isaak has done his research. Of course, Dexter was clear that he works alone, but if this situation is personal, Isaak might target Deb anyway, choosing an eye for an eye approach to his revenge.

Moving on to other matters, here we have Dexter talking to Hannah. Remember when Dexter analyzed blood spatter? Well, apparently he still does that sometimes! From the conversation he's having with Hannah, it sounds like he discovered some inconsistencies with her story when examining the body of one of Wayne's victims.



So, unsurprisingly, it sounds like Hannah wasn't the innocent victim she claimed to be. And more interestingly, it seems Dexter refrained from revealing this information when he was declaring his analysis from the blood spatter. In other words, he covered for her. But why? Is his interest in her because she's beautiful, has a dark side and is interested in him? Or is it because he wants her on his table? Maybe a little bit of both?
