Fox released their Fall 2011 Primetime TV schedule, which includes the Emmy Awards, the return of Glee, Raising Hope, and Fringe, and the series premieres of Terra Nova, X Factor, and New Girl. Changes to the schedule for returning shows appear to be minimal.
Fox’s fall line-up kicks off with COPS on September 10th, but doesn’t really get going until September 20th, with the return of Glee followed by the series premiere of New Girl, a half-hour comedy starring Zooey Deschanel. New Girl is paired with Raising Hope, which returns for Season 2 the same night. While the two shows are completely different in premise, with New Girl centering on a recently heart-broken woman who moves in with a bunch of bachelors, and Raising Hope following a single dad and his hilarious family's shenanigans, I actually think these two shows are going to fit well next to one another.
The already overly-hyped singing competition The X Factor’s series premiere has been broken up into two parts and will premiere on Wednesday, September 21st and Thursday, September 22nd. Adventure drama Terra Nova kicks off with a two-hour premiere on Monday, September 26th. And I Hate My Teenage Daughter, which stars Jaime Pressly (My Name is Earl) isn't set to premiere until late November.
