Don’t think Curb Your Enthusiasm’s final season will be the last you’ll see of J.B. Smoove. The former Saturday Night Live writer recently delivered a scene-stealing performance in Date Night and because of it, he may have ended up with his own sitcom. Never underestimate the power of the best stage name ever.

According to Deadline, the single camera comedy will be written by Smoove and Office veteran producer Aaron Shure and will follow a recently divorced man without the resources to move out. He’ll head to the basement to get his life together while he tries to reconnect with his family.

The untitled show is being produced by Shawn Levy who directed Smoove in Date Night. After receiving a barrage of compliments about the actor’s hilarious cab driver, Levy decided to work together on a larger vehicle for J.B. Smoove, and that’s how we got here.

Here’s to hoping this makes its way past the pilot phase.
