Futurama Season 7, Episode 8: Fun On A Bun

Futurama's Planet Express crew is headed to Oktoberfest for "Fun on a Bun," but it's not the same wild, beer soaked event it is today. And Fry is pissed. First, off and then drunk, causing quite the scene at the now snooty festival. You would think that Bender would be the one most concerned with the lack of alcoholic consumption but his eyes are on a different prize, the sausage competition. How will he win? The first step is finding the rarest meat, here's a clip called 'Woolly Mammoth."

As you can see, Fry - complete with a sweet chicken hat - has had more than his fair share of adult beverages while Bender is surprisingly sober and hell bent on finding the long-extinct, but perfectly preserved big and woolly elephant. Having seen the first eight minutes of the episode, "Fun on a Bun" was the source of the eight minute preview shown at Comic-Con, I can tell you that Bender does make a tasty sausage but it contains more than just the woolly mammoth.

It's also only fitting that the episode that stars Bender Bending Rodriguez in a bun based meat competition is called "Fun on a Bun" because he's said that phrase, oh, maybe once or twice before. Last week's episode was great and, from what I've seen so far, the upcoming one is no slouch either. I'm excited to see the rest. Futurama airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET on Comedy Central. It stars Billy West, Katey Sagal and John DiMaggio. It was created by Matt Groening and David X. Cohen.
