Glee: The Complete 3rd Season Blu-Ray Release Will Include A Music Jukebox

Fox’s Glee had an eventful third season, as many of our favorite characters pushed ever closer to graduation, eventually achieving the distinction during the season finale. With show creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk looking to keep some of our favorite cast members around in different kinds of capacities next season, Glee may not be wholly changing in Season 4. However, it still feels like the end of an era—one that many fans may want to immortalize on Blu-Ray or DVD.

We’ve still got a few months to wait before Glee: The Complete 3rd Season makes it to Blu-Ray and DVD, but Fox Home Entertainment has already put together a smart looking set of extras for the upcoming set. As usual, the sets will spend some time with favorite character Sue through two featurettes, “Sue Adresses Her Fans” and “More of Sue’s Quips.” Santana’s version of “Santa Baby” video will also be released on the disc, as well as several more featurettes, including “Welcome to the Class” and “Making the Finale” segments. One of the great things about the Glee releases are the “Music Jukeboxes,” and this set will not disappoint. This season’s jukebox will round out the extras on the disc.

Glee: The Complete 3rd Season will hit Blu-Ray and DVD on August 14, which actually seems like quite a ways away. On the bright side, that’s still several weeks before the Season 4 premiere of the show, so if you happened to miss a few episodes, there will still be plenty of time to catch up. Seriously, if you missed the season finale, there’s a moment between Finn and Mr. Schue that is totally worth seeing.
