Glee Reaction: On My Way Ends With A Cliffhanger

Glee left us hanging with a major cliffhangers tonight! In what was already an especially emotional episode, “On My Way” ended with a whopper of a “To Be Continued,” which won’t be continued until Tuesday, April 10th. Read no further if you haven’t seen tonight’s episode.

Major spoilers from “On My Way” ahead!

Between Karofsky's suicide attempt and the impact it had on everyone who knows him, Sue's pregnancy (what?!), regionals and an unlikely (probably temporary) detente with the Warblers, tonight’s episode of Glee was brimming with interesting stories, and we should have a full breakdown of “On My Way” posted at some point tomorrow morning. But for those who can’t wait to talk about the final moments, let’s assess the cliffhanger!

For one thing, Finn and Rachel were seizing the day and preparing to walk down the aisle in a rushed (but well dressed) wedding, while their families tried to come up with a way to stop it. That in itself seemed like a big way to close out the pre-hiatus episode. But then we have Quinn, hurrying along in her car, rushing to join the rest of the bridesmaids. She was driving while texting, which seemed like a red flag right away. Sure enough, her car was hit by a pick-up truck just after texting Rachel “ON MY WAY” (which explains the episode title). She was buckled up, but at that speed, is there any chance she’ll survive?

It feels like Quinn may have been set up for a sudden departure, given that she resolved her issues with Rachel, and Sue gave her her cheerleading uniform, not to mention her Yale acceptance. Is it too pessimistic to think that the series will resume in April to very bad news? Or is there a chance that she’ll survive this? What do you think?
