Over the course of its first season, NBC's Grimm has introduced quite a bestiary of creepy critters. Bear People. Bee People. Friggin Beaver People. If you've ever wondered how much work goes into transforming an average Joe or Jane into the latest monster of the week, the folks at Grimm have posted a short promotional featurette showing the entire process of both applying and then removing one particular monster make-up. Thankfully for our dwindling attention spans, they also sped the footage way the hell up. Watch as some dude goes from man to bat-man (no, not that one), and then back to man again.
That might not look like much fun, but hey, at least they're not gluing yak hair to him over a 10-hour period. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the bat-like critter in question is known as the Murcielago, and will appear in this Friday's Cinderella-themed episode, "Happily Ever Aftermath." (What, you don't remember the murderous bat-creature from Cinderella? Eh, whadda you know...)
Grimm airs Fridays at 9/8c on NBC. The show has already been renewed for a second season, which may premiere as early as August.
