How I Met Your Mother Season 8 Photo Shows A Possible Disaster

Prepare to have your mind - wait for it - blown. Not so much by the photo we have to show you from the approaching eighth season of CBS' How I Met Your Mother, but for the episode itself. At least, according to what executive producer Craig Thomas has said about it. Get your HIMYM spoiler-fix ahead! (Or look no further if you're trying to avoid spoilers!)

Last season, it was revealed that Barney and Robin will have a wedding at some point in the future. . But judging by this first look photo, shared by EW, it appears Barney may get cold feet! And Marshall and Lily are doing their best to keep him from climbing out the window.



Leaving Robin at the alter would be catastrophic… assuming that's what Barney's considering doing in the above photo.

From what Craig Thomas told EW earlier this month, the Season 8 premiere will give us a really big look at the "end-game" and Barney and Robin's wedding…

So Thomas says the season kicks off with the “hugest glimpse” of the end-game that fans have ever seen. “We go deeper into [Barney and Robin's] wedding day than we’ve ever gone before. We’re going to show the fans a glimpse of something that we hope will blow their minds,” he says. “I hope the fans will feel they have part of the answer about how the series ends and all new questions.

Sounds legendary! And we have a little over a month to wait to see it. How I Met Your Mother returns for Season 8 on September 24.
