Key & Peele Series Premiere: Highlights From Comedy Central's New Sketch Comedy image
Last night, Comedy Central premiere their new sketch comedy series Key & Peele, which stars Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele. In case you missed it, check out a couple of the sketches ahead and see if you think the show has the humor to go the distance.

Key & Peele followed Tosh.0, which fit not only to fill the next half-hour of TV with funny, but also gave me something to laugh at while I waited for Conan to come on TBS. The episode began with a sketch, which eventually led into an introduction to the two stars as they address their studio audience and do a bit of light stand-up before moving to the next sketch.

Over all, it wasn’t a perfect half-hour of hilarity, but there were some especially funny moments and the series shows promise to get even funnier with time.

Below is a sketch featuring the two stars as husbands who are both willing to refer to their wives as “bitch” but only if they’re completely sure they’re out of earshot...

And this one has one has Peele playing President Obama, while Key translates as an angry man who tells it like it is.

Comedy Central has the full episode available to watch here.

Key & Peele airs Tuesdays at 10:30/9:30c on Comedy Central.
