Kris Jenner's Talk Show Gets A July Premiere Date
Kris Jenner has never been shy about discussing her personal life during interviews or splashing intimate family moments on to the TV screen with her family’s reality series, Keeping Up With The Kardashians. However, she’ll be turning the tables with her new syndicated talk show, Kris, on Fox-owned stations in New York and LA. We’ve known for a while that Jenner’s talk show would get a test run this summer, and now we’ve gotten an official date. Kris will premiere on July 15.
Deadline first reported the news, noting that veteran producer Robert Lifton has signed on to executive produce Kris. Lifton most recently created and produced Daily 10! over at E!, but he has also worked on programs as varied as Best Damn Sports Show Period and Access Hollywood. Though he hasn’t executive produced a daytime talk show prior, he should still bring plenty of experience to the fledgling show.
Kris will be pop culture-driven—an area where Jenner should have some expertise. There's no word on whether or not her more famous daughters will pop up on the show at any point, and we'll have to wait and see if Jenner is a big enough talent to attract viewers on her own. The program is getting a 6-week summer run through July and August. If you are interested in seeing how the Kardashian mom will do as a daytime host, keep in mind that the series is syndicated. Check your local listings nearer the date to see if the series will be available in your area.
