Liza Minnelli To Guest Star In Hot In Cleveland

TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland is already chock full of seasoned comedic actors, among which are Betty White, Wendie Malick, and Valerie Bertinelli. Who better to join them than the ultra talented and especially funny Liza Minnelli? Word is, Minnelli is set to guest-star in the series in its third season. Spoilers ahead!

TV Line posted the news, stating that Liza Minnelli is set to appear in an episode of the comedy series, which is currently airing its third season on TV Land. She'll play the agent of Wendie Malick’s character Victoria Chase, who once made her career as a soap star before the show was cancelled. I have no trouble picturing Minnelli as an agent and can only imagine what kind of personality she’ll bring to the role.

Minnelli’s TV appearances in recent years have included a guest spot on Drop Dead Diva, as well as Law & Order: Criminal Intent, however it’s more likely that many of us will associate her with (and love her for) her role as the ultimate frenemy to Lucille Bluth, Lucille Austero in Arrested Development. She’ll probably be a great fit for Hot in Cleveland, although TV Line says her appearance doesn’t extend beyond one episode. Then again, who knows what could happen?
