Lost Scores Big Ratings But Idol Wins The Night
The early ratings are in and it seems a lot of people were watching TV last night. While Lost drew in an impressive audience, it wasn’t enough to beat out Fox’s American Idol and Kitchen Nightmares.
According to Variety the Lost premiere took in 12.1 million viewers. That’s well above the 9.5 million viewer average for last season and about 700k more than the audience for the previous season premiere. Those are some good numbers, however Fox won the night, bringing in 24.4 million viewers for the American Idol episode that aired and 9.2 million for Kitchen Nightmares.
