Mario Lopez And Courtney Mazza's Wedding To Be Shown In TLC Special

Mario Lopez is fairly used to maintaining a high profile on television. This is why it is no surprise the Extra and The X Factor host has made plans with TLC to whore out his wedding footage to the masses. Still, there are worse things on TLC than the upcoming special, called Mario & Courtney’s Wedding Fiesta.

Lopez was married to long-time girlfriend Courney Mazza in a ceremony in Punta Mita, Mexico on Saturday. The ceremony actually occurred on Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis’ property, which seems like it could be a weird place to have a wedding, but I suppose we will see when the special airs. Otherwise the event should have been beautiful, with 150 guests in attendance for the ceremony, which was held on the beach and officiated by a Catholic priest. The couples’ daughter, two-year-old Gia, even acted as a flower girl and Eva Longoria was on hand as a bridesmaid.

According to THR, fans of Lopez will get to take a sneak peek at the wedding and wedding planning much sooner than they may think. The two-hour network special will be presented on Lifetime for the first time on December 8, and I don’t think it’s too forward to assume Mario & Courtney’s Wedding Fiesta will be subject to repeats. I don’t know about watching on multiple occasions, but this might be the type of reality TV that is worth checking out, once.
