Modern Family Season 3 Blu-ray Is Out Next Week With A Ton Of Bonus Features

Modern Family’s primary skill might be to show us, through recurring plotlines, the habits of characters that are easy to know and love. Regardless, at the end of every season, the ABC comedy usually manages to send fans a curveball to get them psyched about the next season. Modern Family’s third season features such a curveball ending, and if you missed it, you’ll be able to catch up very soon. Modern Family: The Complete Third Season is coming to Blu-ray and DVD on September 18.

Season 3 of Modern Family dealt with basic family issues, like loving the dog and getting help with school, but the season also dealt with some bigger and wilder stuff, including adoption issues and wild family vacations. As usual, a slew of guest stars pop up throughout the episodes, including some memorable moments from Tim Blake Nelson and Leslie Mann. The set will also come with a ton of bonus features, but because of this, it will cost fans a pretty penny, with DVD sets running at $49.98 and Blu-rays going for $59.99.

Amazon has a pre-order sale price going on with both of the sets, but it’s understandable to be a little hesitant over the cost. It’s kind of the downside to having nicer disc options for TV shows with cast interviews, deleted scenes, and more featurettes. Fans want all of the bells and whistles, but they forget it’s going to be more expensive to produce a TV set with Blu-ray capability and all of the other extras. So, check out the extras and see if they fit in to your budget.
