With the anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks approaching, National Geographic Channel has a couple of specials set to air next week, which will look back at the events that took place in New York City and Washington, DC.

Set to air on Monday, September 6th is Giuliani’s 9/11, followed by Witness: DC. Giuliani’s 9/11 will air at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT and features former NYC Mayor Rudolph Giuliani as he looks back on September 11th. Witness: DC will air immediately following Giuliani’s 9/11 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. The special looks back on the attack on Washington DC on 9/11. Both specials include video coverage of the day’s horrific events.

Below are some video clips from both specials. From what I can tell from the clips, it doesn’t look as though there’s anything shown that hasn’t been featured previously in other specials or on the news. With that said, if you’re sensitive to graphic images or are planning to watch this with your kids, note that the Giuliani special includes footage of at least one person jumping from the tower.
