In what is likely to be disappointing but unsurprising news for fans of NBC’s Outlaw, the peacock is reportedly cancelling the series. On the bright side, you will get to see what’s left of the episodes that have already been made but have yet to air.

Last week, the network halted production on the legal drama, which stars Jimmy Smits. NBC was in wait-and-see mode, holding off on a final decision to see if ratings would improve. Apparently, last Friday night’s numbers weren’t good enough to keep the series around. According to Deadline.com, NBC decided today to cancel the series. The four remaining episodes will air on Saturday nights at 8 p.m.

So, at the very least, if you were a fan of the show, you’ll get to see the remaining episodes. In the meantime, NBC has the new school-makeover series School Pride set to premiere this Friday at 8:00 p.m.
