We've passed the one-month mark in counting down to HBO's upcoming new drama series The Newsoom. HBO hasn't been shy about promoting the Aaron Sorkin created series, and based on the trailers, for good reason as the premise has plenty of potential and the glimpses we've seen of star Jeff Daniels' performance suggest that this is going to be a great role for him. We'll have to wait and see how the series premiere looks. In the meantime, HBO has released a new promo for The Newsroom. This one focuses on Will's rage.

Since the first trailer for The Newsroom was released back in April, a recurring theme among all of the promos released for the drama series have shown some level of frustration and anger on the part of Jeff Daniels' character Will, a news anchor at a cable news channel. The latest promo zooms in on that, beginning with the scene that has Will addressing a group of college students and going off on a rant about how not-the-best America is. It just gets more intense from there…

Yes, there's anger and frustration oozing from the promo, but there's also a lot of passion as it seems like the people working with Will are determined to make his news show good. Their enthusiasm is contagious as I'm hoping the HBO drama turns out to be as good as they want that news show to be.

The above promo follows the recently released poster and another promo and set video.

The Newsroom premieres Sunday, June 24 on HBO.
