Olympics Day 14 NBC Friday Primetime Schedule Includes Relays, Cycling And A Sneak Peek Of The New NormalAuthor: Kelly West

NBC's primetime Summer Olympic coverage comes with dessert tonight, in the form of a sneak peek at their upcoming comedy series The New Normal. But before that, viewers will get to see what happened on the track, and in the field today.
Double-amputee Oscar Pistorius was back on the track today, competing for South Africa in the men's 4x400m relay. That race is among the coverage set to be featured on NBC tonight. We'll also get to see the women's 4x100m relay, which will have US runners Carmelita Jeter and Allyson Felix back on the track. There's also men's platform diving to looking forward to, and the Gold Medal Finals for men and women on the BMX track. Those who stick around after the Olympics wrap up (around 11:17 p.m. ET), will get to see a couple minutes of Ryan Murphy and Ali Adler's new comedy The New Normal. NBC's been teasing the series during the Olympics already, but for those who haven't seen the commercials, the show stars Andrew Rannells and Justin Bartha as a gay couple who enlist the help of a surrogate (Georgia King) to carry their child.
