North American fans of An Idiot Abroad have only to wait until Saturday for the return of the series for Season 2 “The Bucket List.” Just the other day we shared a preview from the show, which is scheduled to air on Saturday on the Science channel and feature Karl Pilkington facing dangerous situations that have him looking especially frustrated. Apparently, frustration isn’t something Pilkington reserves exclusively for life-or-death scenarios. Based on what Ricky Gervais shared on his blog, the man also has some complaints about the internet.
Ricky Gervais has a number of TV projects set to hit the small screen in America this year, including the U.S. premiere of his new show Life’s Too Short on HBO next month, and further down the line, the return of The Ricky Gervais Show. Meanwhile this Saturday (January 21), An Idiot Abroad 2: The Bucket List airs on the Science channel. Gervais mentioned that on his blog, in addition to posting the poster for the series... ![]() ...After which, he shared an exchange of words with An Idiot Abroad star Karl Pilkington, who apparently wants to hit the “Off” switch on the internet after visiting a “fan site” that apparently doesn't care for the show. I just spoke to Karl actually. He was moaning. No, honestly, he was. Welcome to the internet, Karl! At the risk of being verbally battered by any commenters who may have migrated here from whatever fan forum of disgruntled internet users Karl happened to visit, I think Pilkington’s great. Can’t wait for The Bucket List to premiere this Saturday! |
