The Simpsons has always been known for pretty big guest stars and next season Fox’s animated comedy plans to continue the tradition by using SNL veteran Kristen Wiig’s voice during a special episode. Wiig has signed on for a fall of 2013 episode of The Simpsons called “Homerland.”

“Homerland’s” title is a loose nod at Showtime’s Homeland, a series that has earned critical acclaim for its strong and aggressive female lead, played by Claire Danes. According to EW, Wiig will take on the role of an “intense” FBI agent during the episode, who pops up in Springfield per Lisa’s request. During the episode, both Lisa and Wiig’s agent character will attempt to determine why Homer has suddenly become a polite individual after attending a conference.

Wiig’s been a busy lady of late, recently hosting an episode of SNL and working on numerous movie projects. Her stint on The Simpsons won’t be the first time the actress has done voicework. Wiig has worked on numerous animated projects in the past, including movies like How To Train Your Dragon and Despicable Me and TV programs like The Looney Tunes Show. This won’t be the first time Wiig has been a part of The Simpsons, either. She formerly appeared as a substitute music teacher in a Season 22 episode, so she should know the drill when it comes to recording that series.

The Simpsons will wrap up Season 24 this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET, with an episode featuring Seth MacFarlane.
