Spartacus Vengeance Preview: Episode 5 - Guess Who's Back...

The trailer for this Friday night’s episode offers the promise of something and someone whose appearance has likely been greatly anticipated by fans of the series, myself included. Find out who’s back and what’s ahead for certain characters in the preview ahead. (Spoiler alert!)

We knew Gannicus was going to show up sooner or later but when and how was the big mystery... until now. As you’ll see in the trailer below, the lead character of Gods of the Arena, who won his freedom in the arena and left for parts unknown is back...



Gannicus back in the arena? Has he been re-enslaved? Or is he a gladiator for hire? Hopefully it’s the latter, though his return may not mesh well with Oenomaus and Crixus also being thrust back into the arena. I’m already beginning to regret my enthusiasm at knowing we were going to be seeing some arena matches involving main characters. Oh, who am I kidding? I’m still excited for it! And I’m also excited to see what happens if/when Oenomaus and Gannicus come face to face with one another. The two were once as close as brothers, but now Oenomaus knows Gannicas and Melitta had a love affair. Drama!
