If you're a child of the 1980s and were a fan of disparate programming such as Knight Rider, Saved By the Bell, Airwolf, Miami Vice and Punky Brewster, there's now a way to follow the latest adventures of your favorite TV shows without scouring YouTube for fan series: comic books. NBC is partnering with comic book company Lion Forge to create digital comics of some of its more popular programs.

Knight Rider Gets A Makeover
It’s no secret that I think the new Knight Rider is lame. I can’t compare it to the old one, because I never watched it. While the producers of the show would never deem the program lame they do admit that there is room for improvement.

2008 Fall TV Shows We're Loving Or Leaving
Enough time has passed since the fall season started for us have a pretty good idea of which shows we love and which ones we’re just not into. We at Blend Television put together a list of some of the new fall shows that have left an impression on us one way or another. There are also a few series that some of us haven’t made up our minds on just yet.

Knight Rider Gets A Full Season
Well, I may not be a fan of Knight Rider but apparently there are enough of them out there to give NBC incentive to keep the series around for a full season. The network announced today that they’re ordering the back nine episodes of the “new” series, which is a remake of an ‘80’s series.

Season Premiere Of Knight Rider Is Available To View Online Now
Did you know you could be watching the season premiere of the new Knight Rider right now? If you haven’t already watched it, Hulu has the season premiere up and we’ve got it posted right here! Since we realize that not everyone has access to Hulu.com’s videos, we posted a bunch of clips from the episode as well.

NBC Series Get A Head Start On Hulu
Entertainment Weekly is teaming up with Hulu.com to give fans of some of NBC’s new and returning series a head start on the season premieres. There isn’t much information posted about this little pair-up just yet. This week’s issue had a blurb about it tucked away in the “Feedback” section (Page 8) and I found it posted in the same section on the magazine’s website.

2008 Fall TV Premiere Schedule
Fall’s not that far away and as the summer shows are beginning to wrap up, I’ve been finding myself wondering when to expect some of my favorite shows to return from the summer hiatus. So I figure now’s as good a time as any to get started on the big premiere schedule. We’ll be posting previews for all of the new and returning shows this season and as always, the schedule is a work in progress.

Comic Con: Knight Rider Interviews
The new Knight Rider series has created a lot of debate among fans of the old tried-and-true Hasselhoff series. Can this new show live up to the legend of the original? Can it avoid its pitfalls of formulaic storylines? Where in the world was turbo boost on that backdoor pilot? We got a chance to talk with a few members of the cast as well as one of the show's producers and ask them these exact questions.

Missing out on Comic Con this year? Yeah, me too. If you’re looking forward to the remake of Knight Rider, or NBC’s new David vs. Goliath themed series, Kings, we’ve got the videos from the panels that took place at Comic Con ’08.

Top Five Favorite TV Robots
This weekend the new Pixar movie, Wall-E is set to hit theaters. The story centers on a Robot and as most of you are probably aware, robots are hardly uncommon in TV and movies. It makes sense as robots are very useful. They’re usually programmed to do things like clean, fight and lift heavy objects. The downside is they sometimes become self aware and turn against their masters.

Former BSG Actor Signs On For Knight Rider
When I read that Paul Campbell of Battlestar Galactica was cast in the upcoming NBC series Knight Rider, one question came to mind: “Who?” I’m a fan of BSG but the name wasn’t ringing a bell. A quick search on IMDB gave me my answer.

NBC Fall 2008 Premiere Date Schedule
While most of our shows are currently wrapping up their seasons in preparation for the summer hiatus, I don’t think it’s too soon to start anticipating the new fall season. Maybe my excitement for this fall comes from the extra long strike-induced hiatus this year. It’ll be good to see our shows getting back on track with new seasons. NBC posted the premiere dates for their fall shows. This includes the return of Heroes.

New NBC Series: Knight Rider - Fall 2008
I had high hopes for the Knight Rider TV movie that aired in February. Unfortunately, I wasn’t overly impressed with how the series got started. K.I.T.T. itself seems pretty awesome but that was about the only thing I felt really positive with when the backdoor pilot ended. Hopefully the writers will get things tightened up before the series premieres this fall.

It’s network upfront season, which means the networks will be unveiling their upcoming primetime lineups. NBC recently released their new schedule for fall 2008 through summer 2009. Friday Night Lights Saved! And Other News From The NBC Upfronts
NBC had its upfront presentation today, where it unveiled its schedule for next season. In addition to new shows such as The Office spinoff we previously reported on, many fan favorites will be returning next season. Chief among those is Friday Night Lights, the low-rated, but beloved high school football series. FNL will be returning for a 3rd season, but won’t premiere until the winter.

TV Review: Knight Rider
One of the downsides to remakes and spin-offs of classic TV series is that we often raise our expectations up so high that it’s almost impossible for the new show or in this case, TV movie to meet them. I can accept that though, which is why I usually allow for a bit of disappointment in cases like these. Unfortunately, Knight Rider not only failed to live up to the hype, but it didn’t even come close to what I was hoping it would be.
