Karl Pilkington's Travel Show 'The Moaning Of Life' Will Air On Science Channel In January
Fans of An Idiot Abroad may be missing Karl Pilkington since the travel series wrapped up, but Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s pal hasn’t stopped traveling. Pilkington has been starring in The Moaning of Life, a Sky series that separates him completely from the trio in which he’s usually best associated, and has him once again, on the move as he embarks on a new, solo life adventure.
Ricky Gervais Writing 6 More Episodes Of Derek, Shares Outtakes Of Karl Pilkington
Ricky Gervais' one-off special called Derek was well received by audiences so it should come as no surprise that the British comedian had some exiting news to share earlier today via twitter. The 'pilot' was always intended to open the door to more shows and not only has the comedian started writing an additional 6 episodes of Derek but he also shared this great clip of Karl breaking character. And I don't think Karl laughs. Ever. Seriously.
The Ricky Gervais Show Season 3 Official Poster And Two New Clips
Why did Karl Pilkington sit in his backyard drooling? And what has he been giving to charity? These are the questions that get answered in these clips from the upcoming third season of the series. We also have the art-inspired official poster for the HBO series.
Derek Clips Showcase The New Channel 4 Pilot With Ricky Gervais And Karl Pilkington
All of comedian Ricky Gervais' television projects eventually make their way across the Atlantic. The Office came overseas before American television made the full on adaptation. Then his popular podcasts with the "little round headed buffoon that is Karl Pilkington" got picked up and animated before Karl became the Idiot Abroad. Gervais' new project, again with Pilkington, is called Derek and is scheduled to air in the U.K. soon but there's no word on when the one-off dramedy will come to North America. That doesn't mean you can't watch the new clips.
The Ricky Gervais Show Season 3 Preview: Gervais, Merchant And Pilkington Are Back
Ricky Gervais may be the biggest comedian in Britain but Karl Pilkington has certainly become quite the celebrity in his own right. And deservedly so since the man is a bonafide genius. Perhaps not in the traditional sense of the word but nobody sees the world as Karl does and to hear him describe it to you is a thing of beauty. Lucky for us, we don't have to wait much longer since the trio of Pilkington, Gervais and Stephen Merchant are coming back in animated form...
Ricky Gervais Says An Idiot Abroad's Karl Pilkington Wants To Turn Off The Internet
Ricky Gervais has a number of TV projects set to hit the small screen in America this year, including the U.S. premiere of his new show Life’s Too Short on HBO next month, and further down the line, the return of The Ricky Gervais Show. Meanwhile this Saturday (January 21), An Idiot Abroad 2: The Bucket List airs on the Science channel.
An Idiot Abroad 2: The Bucket List Preview: Karl Discovers A New Noise
Those of you who have been waiting for the second season of An Idiot Abroad to premiere have only to count down about a week. The series returns to the Science Channel next Saturday as Karl Pilkington tackles a bucket list of ridiculous and dangerous tasks for our entertainment.
Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, And Karl Pilkington Talk An Idiot Abroad 2: The Bucket List
Ricky Gervais must be one of the busiest people in show business. Perhaps not one of the busiest people in Hollywood, mind you (even if he's hosting the Golden Globes), because, unlike a lot of talented people who find success in America, the majority of his projects are still developed and aired on British television. However, that doesn't mean we don't get to enjoy the funny promos for all of his series, including these new spots for An Idiot Abroad 2: The Bucket List.
An Idiot Abroad Season 2 Trailer Mines Karl's Bucket List
Season one ended with Karl vowing to never have anything to do with this project again, but for the second season Ricky and Stephen have lured him back in by promising to let him decide where he's going (don't worry, they won't). They’re calling it An Idiot Abroad: The Bucket List, and producer Ricky Gervais has just unleashed the new season’s first teaser trailer. Here it is.
Trailer For Ricky Gervais Next TV Show: An Idiot Abroad
If you’ve heard Ricky Gervais’s hilarious podcast then you know that, even though Ricky’s a really funny guy, the podcast isn’t actually funny because of him. It’s funny because Karl Pilkington
Gervais And Merchant Putting Warwick Davis On TV
Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant are a proven comedy writing and production team. They brought the original of The Office, Extras, and more recently introduced us to Karl Pilkington in HBO's animated The Ricky Gervais Show. Now they're looking at Warwick Davis
HBO Signs Up Another Season With The Ricky Gervais Show
I never caught The Ricky Gervais Show when it was online as a podcast, but now I wish I had. HBO's iteration of it, which is really just Flash-style animation of the guys in the studio with the occasional animated exposition, is genuinely laugh-out loud funny. HBO is pleased as well with the show enough to bring it back for a second season
