Red Widow Season 1 Will Hit DVD Later This Month
Red Widow hit ABC’s schedule in March and left it almost as quietly as it came in earlier this month. Red Widow was never the huge ratings bringer I’m sure that ABC hoped it would be and thus it was no surprise when the network officially cancelled the series, but if you missed it in its first run, ABC Studios is bringing Red Widow: The Complete First Season to DVD on May 28.

Happy Endings, Vegas, CSI: NY, Golden Boy And The New Normal And Others Cancelled
Amidst a flurry of series orders and renewals, we're also hearing bad news for some series. For CBS, the ax has fallen on CSI: NY, Golden Boy and Vegas. For NBC, The New Normal joins Go On among the freshman comedies cancelled. And for ABC, Happy Endings has been axed, though there may be some hope for that one as there's talk of USA possibly rescuing the friends-centered comedy.

The first couple of episodes move a bit slowly, which isn't such a bad thing, but for a plot with the potential to be dark and exciting, its introduction isn't really either.
