Marilyn Manson Will Appear On The Most Obvious TV Show Possible
Marilyn Manson doesn’t seem to worry about typecasting. As a musician known for his relatively dark tunes, it seems like no surprise that he’s mostly known for darker roles on television. Now, Manson has signed on to play a role on a show that seems like a perfect fit.

Marilyn Manson Heads To Salem For New Opening Theme
With its first original scripted series, WGN America went to the darker side of American history for the witchy drama Salem, so it makes a certain amount of sense that the series teamed with one of the more iconic artists on the faux-dark side of the musical spectrum, Marilyn Manson, for an all-new theme for their opening title sequence.

Avatar's Stephen Lang Joins Salem's Bewitching Cast
This Sunday, WGN America will put its broom between its legs and fly into the world of original programming with the witchy drama Salem, but that doesn’t mean the show has completely filled out its casting or anything. Joining the moody period series is Stephen Lang, a stalwart of genre fiction perhaps best known as Colonel Miles Quaritch in James Cameron’s Avatar.

Salem Review: Something Wicked Is Brewing At WGN
FX's American Horror Story: Coven put a bit of dark, witchy magic on basic cable and now it's WGN America's turn, albeit with a different setting and tone, through their own original drama, Salem. Serving as both a period piece and a supernatural drama, Salem takes us to Salem, Massachusetts in the 17th century, where the only thing scarier than the witch hunt may be the actual witches amidst this puritanical society.

Salem Starts The Witch Hunt With First Official Trailer
There doesn’t appear to be much of a multi-tiered plotline going on in Salem, Massachusetts; it’s just business as usual trying to identify witches and subsequently putting them to death. But while some of the accused were innocent, there is indeed a powerful witch or two among the population, and they’re like nothing anyone had imagined. There’s a romance tied up in all this that is supposed to ratchet up the drama two or three more broom clicks.

WGN America's First Original Series Salem Will Take Us Back To The Witch Trials
There’s no doubt that witches will become the new vampire and zombie in terms of ubiquity in fictional narratives, with Rob Zombie’s Lords of Salem released just a couple of months ago and American Horror Story’s third season focusing on its own coven of witches.
