Sean Saves The World Earns Five More Episodes
NBC’s new lineup of shows hasn’t really been able to find its footing on Thursday nights. The network has already cancelled new comedy Welcome to the Family, and Sean Saves the World and The Michael J. Fox Show haven’t done particularly well. Which is why it was a bit of a surprise to learn NBC has ordered additional episodes of the comedy.

Sean Saves The World Review: NBC's Comedy Is Snappy And Halfway Satisfying
The first thing you may notice when you tune in to Sean Saves the World is that the opening music is reminiscent of ABC’s popular comedy Modern Family. Sean Saves The World Joins NBC's Other Family-Focused Comedies On Thursday Night This Fall
We noted earlier that NBC seems to be aiming for family-focused comedies with their planned Thursday night line-up for this fall. Sure, things didn't work out so well for The New Normal or 1600 Penn, both promising comedies that failed to find an audience for one reason or the other. But that isn't stopping the Peacock from moving forward on other comedies with a family element. That includes Sean Saves The World, the new sitcom starring Will & Grace's Sean Hayes.
