Unforgettable Season 5 Not Happening At A&E, Canceled For Real This Time
Fans of A&E’s police procedural Unforgettable got some bad news today. The show has been axed by the network and will not return for a fifth season.
Big Brother Season 16, Unforgettable And Reckless Get June Premiere Dates At CBS
CBS has updated their Summer schedule and includes the premiere date of Season 16 of Big Brother. The reality competition series will kick off nearly a year to the date from last season's premiere, which got off to an earlier start than usual. Also on the schedule is CBS's new drama Reckless, and a slightly updated start date for the sci-fi series Extant.
Unforgettable To Return In April, CBS Sets Premiere For Bad Teacher
CBS has lined up the premiere date for their new comedy Bad Teacher, along with the return date of Unforgettable, which will be back with new episodes in April. CBS is also set to do a bit of schedule shifting for Two and a Half Men and The Crazy Ones, both of which air on Thursday nights. Effective February 27, The Crazy Ones will air Thursday at 9:30 p.m. for the duration of its first season run.
Under The Dome, Big Brother And Unforgettable Season 2 Premiere Dates Set
CBS is getting a bit ahead of the game in lining up their summer premieres. That includes the return of Unforgettable for its second season, and the debut of the small screen adaptation of Stephen King's Under the Dome. Big Brother will be returning a little earlier than usual for an expanded season, and CBS will also premiere a new reality competition series that's based on a British show.
CBS' Resurrected Drama Unforgettable Is Dropping Supporting Cast
Although it’s amazing that Unforgettable actually managed to get a reprieve from cancellation, not everyone from the show is coming back from the dead. Although three of the main cast members have signed on to continue, it looks like just about everyone else is back to looking for a new job.
Unforgettable To Return To CBS Next Summer With New Episodes
This situation was looking grim for the CBS drama Unforgettable, which was left off CBS' 2012-2013 primetime lineup this spring. While fans may have had hope that the series might be rescued by another network, the assumption was that there would be no more Unforgettable on CBS. It looks like that won't be necessary now, as CBS has decided to move forward with the drama after all.
CBS Cancels CSI Miami, A Gifted Man And Unforgettable, Picks Up Sherlock Holmes Series And Others
CBS didn't waste any time renewing a number of series back in March, but we had to wait until now to know what new pilots made the cut for the 2012-2013 season, and which shows might be cut. Among the projects given the greenlight for series orders is the modern-day take on Sherlock Holmes called Elementary, and the Michael Urie/David Krumholtz-starring comedy Partners.
Jane Curtin Will Be A Series Regular On Unforgettable
Curtain will play forensic pathologist Jane Webster, who works with lead character Carrie Wells (Poppy Montgomery) at the NYPD in Queens. Webster will be a mouthy Inspector who used to work in the Medical Examiner’s office before being demoted to the Unforgettable crew. While it seems like the relationship between Wells and Webster could get pretty intense, supposedly Wells will come to rely on Webster’s expertise. Webster does seem like she will be a softie at heart, even teaching a poetry course.
CBS Print Ads In People Magazine Come To Life
I must admit, there aren't many new marketing techniques that really make me stop and say "Huh, that's cool." Like this whole recent QR Code obsession, I don't understand the desire to scan every code you see just to find out what it might link to. Curiosity I guess. However, the past few days have seen some pretty cool viral ad campaigns, first with the bacteria based billboard for Contagion and now CBS is making their print posters come to life.
Six TV Trends For The Fall 2011-2012 Season: From Fairy Tales To Fish, Bunnies, And Manly Men
With the major network upfronts wrapped up, it’s time to step back and look at what ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and The CW have to offer us in terms of new programming. From men being men to fish out of water and trips through space and time, there are definitely some trends worth noting in the upcoming Fall 2011-2012 TV line-up.
CBS 2011 Fall TV Premiere: Unforgettable
Among the drama series picked up by CBS for Fall 2011 is Unforgettable, which centers on a former police detective with a nearly flawless memory. A gift like that has to come in handy when she's trying to solve homicides but I'm thinking there are probably drawbacks to not being able to forget anything.
CBS Planning De Niro Cop Show And How To Be A Gentleman Comedy
CBS has picked up three more new shows today, including two cop dramas and a comedy. Which sounds like a decent replacement for Two and a Half Men, if you ask me.
