Fox’s Kiefer Sutherland series Touch has added three new faces for the upcoming second season. Said Taghmaoui of Lost will be a regular in the new season, while two recurring roles will be filled by Adam Campbell and Ray Santiago.
THR reports that Taghmaoui, who had a recurring role as Caesar on Lost, has been cast as Guillermo Ortiz, a Jesuit priest who turns into a killer. Reminds me of the show Peggy watched on King of the Hill about the gun-toting priest Monsignor Martinez. I suspect it will be somewhat less cheesy, however, perhaps not spouting a catchphrase like “Vaya con Dios.” The two new recurring roles will have Adam Campbell of Parenthood as a close friend and business partner of Calvin, the new regular character played by Lukas Haas. As for Raising Hope’s Ray Santiago, he gets to keep his last name for a recurring role as Reuben Santiago. This guy is a hacker at BreakWire, the company that Martin (Sutherland) works for. Reuben also watches Martin’s son David for him regularly. The three join a group of new faces for the second season of Touch which includes previously mentioned regular Lukas Haas as well as Saxon Sharbino and Greg Ellis. Sharbino has taken on a regular role as well, as daughter to Lucy, while Ellis will recur as a war correspondent friend of Martin’s. Touch is set for a late premiere on October 26th with a new night and time; it will air on Fridays at 8pm. Back to top
