True Blood, 24, And Army Wives Bulk Up Casts

Before we endeavor back into the slew of pilot casting that’s been coming fast and furious let’s slow down and talk about current shows and new cast members. True Blood, 24 and Army Wives have all announced new roles and who’ll be playing said roles. It’s nice how casting news works that way; a role and a character is revealed.

According to THRValerie Cruz, who is likely most known from Dexter, will take on the role of Hispanic vampire Isabel on HBO’s True Blood. Meanwhile over on 24 Tim Guinee will run out of time as Ken Dellao, a reporter who is tied to First Daughter Olivia Taylor. Or as I like to call her, “The primer to get us ready for Kim Bauer’s return.” Finally Clifton Powell joins the cast of Army Wives as a psychologist who helps veterans deal with post-traumatic stress.
