True Blood Preview: Season 5, Episode 7 - In The BeginningAuthor: Kelly West

After another Comic Con adventure completed, I'm finally caught up on most of my TV-watching, and this includes last Sunday night's episode of True Blood. While attending Comic Con did mean falling behind on the HBO vampire drama, the event did offer a look ahead at the remaining episodes of Season 5. As
for what's coming up this Sunday night, we have that video here.
We're at the half-way point of the season, and while it took a little while for things to really get going, stuff is definitely happening. Is Roman really dead? Given how great Christopher Meloni is on the show, I sincerely hope not. We didn't actually see the full splat, so maybe he's ok? The video below doesn't reveal the answer one way or the other, but the first few seconds of it might give us a clue and the outcome isn't good. Bill says "Roman's killer" when referring to the situation. Does that confirm that Roman is dead? Or does he mean would-be killer? I'm thinking we'll find out within the first few minutes of "In The Beginning." It's worth noting that Eric seems to be aware that Nora is involved in this whole situation. So he isn't so blinded by his affection for her not to see what she's capable of. In other news, it looks like the faeries are telling Sookie that there are limits to her power. Interestingly but unsurprisingly enough, it looked like she was hopeful that this might be true and that she might have a chance to actually be human. The beams of light sure have come in handy, as has the mind-reading but we all know she considers that as much a burden as it is a gift. Also in the video, Tara's mother sees what's become of her daughter, and Russell has returned - and he's remembered and recognized, at least by first name. In case you haven't seen it, here's the video HBO released for Comic Con, which looks ahead at the rest of the season. True Blood airs Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET on HBO. Back to top
