True Blood Season 5 Sunset Clips: Jessica's Big Idea

There are just two episodes left to the fifth season of True Blood, and while this season may have taken some time to get going, there are some interesting things happening as we approach the finale. One of the clips we have to show you from "Sunset" has Jessica suggesting something to Bill that may have some very serious consequences for Jason.

Last Sunday night, we saw Jessica going along with Bill's plan to keep her underground with the Authority. She seemed apprehensive, but she's playing along. Now it looks like she's concerned about Jason's well-being, which leads her to ask Bill if she can protect him. Unsurprisingly, given how devoted he seems to be to this Lilith cause, he refuses her the option, which leads her to another idea...



It's unsurprising that Jessica is concerned about Jason. Whether or not she's in love with him, she's proven all season long that she wants him to be safe and ok. And with Hoyt gone, he's really the only non-vampire friend she has left. Based on the screenshot below from the "Sunset" preview, it looks like she may actually follow through with her idea!



Even with the above photo and clip, I really can't believe they'd turn another human character this season. So I'll believe it when I actually see it.

Meanwhile, it looks like military is getting involved in this Authority issue, and unsurprisingly, Russell's little Greek dinner has given them some leverage. That's what you get for setting a maniac vampire loose on the town!
