If you enjoyed the first season of USA’s new drama series Fairly Legal, there’s good news. USA has given the series a second season order! The better news is that Season 2 will consist of three more episodes than Season 1.

According to Deadline, USA is giving Fairly Legal a thirteen-episode order for Season 2, (up three eps from the first season's ten episodes), which will go into production this summer. The network aims to get Season 2 on the air sometime at the beginning of 2012.

Fairly Legal stars Sarah Shahi as Kate Reed, a former lawyer who traded choosing sides in exchange for finding common ground, earning her living as a mediator. Much like so many of USA’s other original series, Fairly Legal has a quirky, humorous edge to it as Kate attempts to keep her own life in balance and often uses her mediating abilities to sort out random bits of conflict that fall at her feet. Deadline notes that Fairly Legal isn’t another break-out series for USA, averaging 4.6 million viewers in a Live+7 but I think it's is still a good fit for USA. It’s nice to know it’ll be sticking around.
