Given its viewership, The Walking Dead isn't really in desperate need of new fans. The highly rated zombie drama is doing just fine on word of mouth and fan devotion, not to mention appreciation for Robert Kirkman's comics. All the same, AMC is known for going out of their way to give newcomers and fans the opportunity to get and stay caught up on their series by airing marathons. Such is the case for The Walking Dead, which has just two episodes left in its third season. Those who want to get caught up on the series before Season 3 wraps up will have the opportunity to do just that.
As the above video indicates, AMC is offering a major cram-session for the series by airing every episode from the pilot all the way through last Sunday's "Prey" for fans to devour, beginning next Monday night (March 25) at 8/7c on AMC.
The trailer doesn't say exactly how the episodes will be spaced out over the course of the week, but given that there are 33 episodes to get through (or 34 if we count next week's "This Sorrowful Life"), fans hoping to watch every single one of them might want to clear their schedule! For the rest of us, the marathon gives us the opportunity to revisit some of our favorite episodes. Since "Clear" aired, I've been craving a rewatch of the series' pilot. It seems I'll have the opportunity for that when it airs next week. "Days Gone Bye" airs Monday at 8:00 p.m. ET on AMC.
For a little Walking Dead fun, AMC has a TWD personality test on their site.
