Watch Christine O'Donnell Walk Out Of Piers Morgan Tonight Mid-Interview

Things got a bit awkward on Piers Morgan Tonight, today when Morgan was interviewing former Delaware U.S. Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell. She wanted to talk about her book. He wanted to talk about her views on gay marriage. Watch the video ahead and see O’Donnell walk out in the middle of the interview after an awkward exchange between host and politician.

I think the weirdest part about the interview isn’t O’Donnell’s polite laughter, but rather, where they begin to debate what they will talk about, which probably should have been discussed beforehand. The interview, which is shown in the video below, aired tonight on Piers Morgan Tonight on CNN.

Morgan tweeted about the incident before it aired, saying, “Ms O'Donnell wasn't happy about me quizzing her re views on withcraft and sex. But really flipped at gay marriage Qs. Ripped mike and fled.”

You’ll see in the video that his comments were a bit of an oversell, though it’s possible he tweeted before he actually saw her end of the footage. Reading the tweet, I envisioned her angrily yanking her microphone off and storming off the set. How it actually plays out is more awkward than it is dramatic.
