Freedom Writers is the new movie from filmmaker Richard LaGravenese and with a script from Richard LaGravenese, based on the book by Erin Gruwell and the Freedom Writers. Hilary Swank, Imelda Staunton, Patrick Dempsey, April Lee Hernandez, Mario, Jason Finn, Deance Wyatt, Jacklyn Ngan, Kristin Herrera play lead roles. Paramount Home Entertainment, MTV Films will release Freedom Writers in theaters on 2007-04-17.
