State of Play is the new movie from filmmaker Kevin Macdonald and with a script from Matthew Michael Carnahan, Tony Gilroy, Peter Morgan. Rachel McAdams, Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck, Jason Bateman, Robin Wright Penn, Helen Mirren, Jeff Daniels play lead roles. Universal Pictures will release State of Play in theaters on 2009-04-17.
