The Lego Movie 2 is not the film's final title, though it's safe to assume that whatever the final title is, it'll have the word "Lego" somewhere in it.

This sequel, Lego Movie 2 was planned even before the first film was released, so sure was Warner Bros. of its success. As it turns out, they were right. The original Lego Movie was a massive critical and financial success, making The Lego Movie 2 an easy commitment.

The directors of the first film, Phil Lord and Chis Miller, will not return to direct the sequel. Instead they've hired Chris McKay for Lego Movie 2. McKay served as animation co-director on the initial film.
