The Olympus Has Fallen Sequel Has Finally Found Its Director

Olympus Has Fallen was a big, chubby hit last year, getting director Antoine Fuqua back on the director A-List. But when the time came to put together a sequel, Fuqua got busy, and is currently following up the upcoming The Equalizer with Southpaw. That left the director's chair open for the upcoming sequel, London Has Fallen, and now it can be filled.

Two Of The Expendables Are Gay Lovers

Okay, so, a lot of you didn't see The Expendables 3 this weekend, and that's a pity. It's not because the movie's good (it isn't), it's not because the heroes of yesterday's movies need your support, and not because Sylvester Stallone is starving. Instead, it's because you missed out on a little history. Did you know there were a couple of gay Expendables? Specifically, a couple of hugely famous gay Expendables? GAY SPOILERS AHEAD!

Watch A Plant Grow Out Of A Vagina In The Most WTF Trailer Of The Year

This Sundance and SXSW favorite finds this teenager admitted to the hospital for her unhygenic ways, where it appears she undergoes quite a bit of treatment and cathartic therapy to unblock her issues. There's also a nice, handsome young orderly to help her sort out her issues, which appear to involve her childhood, her parents, and a lot of puss, blood and goo.

The Expendables 3 Was Not Undone By Piracy

That's assuming all the downloads occurred in America, which they absolutely didn't – the franchise has been much healthier internationally, with 72% of the second film's overall gross coming from foreign territories.

Expendables 3 Robbed Us Of A Much-Needed Wesley Snipes Renaissance

It's as much a pleasure for him to be unshackled onscreen as it is for us to see him again, years passed his prime, that spark still alive in his eyes. Naturally, the movie treats him similarly to the other legends onscreen, chucking him to the scrap heap three scenes later.

Ant-Man Just Added All Of Your Favorite Character Actors

You have to say this about Marvel and Ant-Man: they've really kept the fans on their toes. Even with the Edgar Wright kerfuffle earlier this year, there was the sense by San Diego Comic-Con that the furor surrounding Ant-Man had died down, and we were beginning to get a clear sense of the film.

Joel Edgerton Addresses Controversy Over Exodus: Gods And Kings Casting

That quote might give those protesting the movie little comfort, but there's not much that Edgerton can say, really. Taking a stand on this issue means second-guessing the multi-million dollar machine that just employed him, at a time when he cannot afford to do that with his career.

5 Surefire Ways To Fix The Broken Expendables Franchise

But the fans just didn't show up to a film that added Wesley Snipes, Mel Gibson and Harrison Ford to the ever-growing roster of characters, three legends with serious box office pedigree. The formula seemed simple at the beginning, but it's clear from audience dissatisfaction that it's not working.

Ed Harris, Andy Garcia, Jim Sturgess And Abbie Cornish Joining The Bonkers-Sounding Geostorm

Butler must team with Sturgess to manage a rogue climate-control satellite that threatens to create a disaster of epic proportions. But soon they learn this is no technological fluke, but in fact an attempt at killing the President. Climate control satellites employed to kill the President?? These people are SICK! Five bucks says Ed Harris is involved.

Elijah Wood Tries To Save Sasha Grey Through His Computer In First 'Open Windows' Trailer

Elijah Wood, who by now is no stranger to high concept indie thrillers, stars as Nick, a superfan who enters a contest to win a date with beautiful actress Jill (Sasha Grey). But when she opts out of the deal, a frustrated Nick hears from her "representative", who promises a voyeuristic gaze into her home via secret webcam.

The Raid Remake Will Have 12 Central Characters

The Raid: Redemption, for those of you who haven't seen it (and that's a lot of you, since the movie wasn't a massive hit in America), follows a SWAT team as they find themselves locked in an apartment complex run by an evil villain. Most of these guys, it's worth noting, are not badasses, so they fall quickly. But Rama (Iko Uwais) knows a thing or two about kicking some ass, so he manages to fight his way to the top, side-scroller-style.

Sylvester Stallone Is Now In Training For Rambo 5

The only reasons Stallone would have to return to this character (other than money and sentimentality) is to provide a more final, conclusive end. There's no poetry without blood in the Rambo universe.

Life After Beth

Life After Beth plays with Rom-Com and zombie apocalypse tropes, telling the story of a broken relationship possibly healed by a flesh-eating rebirth.

Jackie Chan Explains Why He Turned Down Expendables 2 And 3

These movies so far have been overstuffed to the point of parody. The latest film tries to find space for two full Expendables teams, reducing Jet Li to a tiny cameo and four spoken lines, and he doesn't even throw any kicks. And Wesley Snipes seems like a selling point for the new movie, but after a major break-in that frees him, he and the rest of the Expendables are (temporarily!) fired and replaced by the new crew.

Ben Affleck Injured On The Set Of Batman v Superman

Affleck is said to be going to the gym regularly for this role, but before this, he was happily playing non-musclebound characters. For a body to make a sudden shift into bruiser territory so quickly? No amount of money or personal trainers can ignore that this is just an unnatural treatment for the human body, and the body will often act accordingly.

Sylvester Stallone Blames His Movie Bombs On Arnold Schwarzenegger

Stallone's two examples of projects that Schwarzenegger would have done were Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot and Rhinestone. Rhinestone happened in 1984, in the same year Schwarzenegger was doing The Terminator and Conan The Destroyer. Does it really seem like Schwarzenegger would have passed on either of those two movies to do a Dolly Parton musical?

Marvel Needs To Bring Back The Collector As Many Times As They Can

And the reasons why he collects everything, from space WMD's to Howard The Duck, is because he's immortal. Alive for billions of years, he had a happy wife, but when she couldn't bear living for centuries she took her own life. Alone and seeking purpose, Tivan became the biggest nerd in the world, collecting just about anything he could find.

The Rock Making Two More Journey To The Center Of The Earth Sequels

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island was a surprise hit in 2012, grossing $335 million worldwide. That was higher than the $241 million brought in by the Johnson-less Journey To The Center Of The Earth, which starred Brendan Fraser.

The Expendables 3

Even by the standards of this particular series, The Expendables 3 is barely a movie. Sylvester Stallone has been the chief creative force for this trilogy, action dream teams that combine the forces of some of the starrier bottom-kickers in cinematic history. This one carries the suspense of watching someone sign a check.

Fifty Shades Of Grey Star Jamie Dornan May Play King Arthur

2016's King Arthur is taking shape under the leadership of director Guy Ritchie. It's the first of multiple films in a proposed trilogy, so for the lead role, they'll need someone strong, masculine, and compelling - someone who audiences will want to see again and again. So how about someone kinky as well?
