Australian writer-director Baz Luhrmann is still probably best known for his slightly insane 2001 musical Moulin Rouge. But 10 years before that extravaganza, Luhrmann already had music on the mind with 1992's Strictly Ballroom. Now the first part of Luhrmann's "Red Curtain Trilogy" returning with a special edition on April 6th.

Based on a stage play by Luhrmann and Andrew Bovell, Strictly Ballroom is the story of Australian dancer Scott Hastings (Paul Mercurio). He's been trained in ballroom dancing since childhood, but now that he's a grown-ass man, he's not satisfied with those stodgy old regular dance moves. Teaming up with inexperienced new partner Fran (Tara Morice), Scott sets out to stick it to the Man and prove that his dance magic is at least as good as David Bowie's.

The new special edition will add a new making-of documentary to an array of previously released bonus features.
