Who doesn’t need a little love in their life? Okay, love from a movie like Leap Year might not ideal, but with Amy Adams in the lead it has to have something to offer. Check it out for yourself when it hits DVD and Blu-ray on May 4th courtesy of Universal Home Video.

You’d think after four years of dating, Jeremy (Adam Scott) would pop the question, but no. Anna (Adams) doesn’t get her rock, so she decides it’s time to take matters into her own hands and follow the Irish tradition of the woman proposing to the man on Leap Day. Jeremy is in Ireland, so she hops on a plane to surprise him. The problem is, she lands in a completely different part of the country and has to catch a ride with a local guy named Declan (Matthew Goode) to Jeremy’s locale. And, of course, Declan is quite cute.

DVD Active has the box art, but is reporting that neither the DVD nor the BD edition will come with any bonus material. I’d bet that when we get closer to the release date, word of some sort of special-features assortment will surface. Even if it’s just some commentary or deleted scenes, there’s got to be something! Prices have yet to be posted, but, in the case there really are no extras, they better be on the low side.
