So, you remember a few years back when they made that Elektra move with Jennifer Garner? No? That's okay, there's a good chance your brain has since overwritten that memory with more valuable information, such as Jersey Shore trivia or last week's grocery list. But yeah, they totally made a spin-off movie based on Garner's portrayal of the Marvel Comics assassin chick from Daredevil, despite the fact that that movie was already pretty awful, so I'm not sure why they were expecting the spin-off to be better. And it wasn't. But now they're putting out a Director's Cut of the film on Blu-ray, because clearly the problem with Elektra was that director Rob Bowman didn't get his way. So...I guess that's good news for all you Elektra fans out there, right? Anybody? Hello?

Fox Home Entertainment is bringing Elektra: Director's Cut to Blu-ray May 4th for a suggested price of $29.99. The flick begins when Sydney Bristow, er, Elektra is resurrected by General Zod, er, blind sensei Stick and trained to fight an evil organization called The Hand. She eventually becomes a hired assassin and then has a crisis of conscience when she's assigned to kill that Croatian guy from E.R. and his daughter. Also at one point she totally makes out another girl.
