It was already mind-boggling to me when Candace Cameron Bure reminded us last year that the first episode of Full House premiered over 38 years ago. We were introduced to one of the most well-adjusted sitcom families that came together to raise three little girls after the death of their mother. And oh mylanta, if you really want to feel old, Bure refreshed us that even the final episode of the classic sitcom is over 30 years old!

Back in 1995, Full House entertained its live studio audience one more time when the Tanners came together to help bring back Michelle’s memory after she'd falled off of her horse. If you’re curious how long ago that was, Candace Cameron Bure’s got an Instagram post all ready to jog your memory:

I love how even though Bure has been busying herself heading the Great American Family network, she still finds time to throw back the series that started it all for her. It’s a great example of how the former Hallmark star may have had to say goodbye to Full House, but Full House will never say goodbye to her.

Not only am I feeling nostalgic seeing the promotional photos of the series, as well as the cast taking their last bow, but also Bure's throwback wardrobe. The T-shirt she’s wearing of the classic show’s best catchphrases or the “Oh Mylanta” tee of the Tanner House by Golden Gate Bridge made my day. Looking at these T-shirts is already making me hear in my head the retro TV theme song that’s still catchy.

If you can believe it, the initially envisioned ending of Full House was quite differently from what was aired. After creator Jeff Franklin left the great TGIF comedy after five seasons to focus on Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper, writers Marc Warren and Dennis Rinsler took over. Franklin said if he had it his way with the finale, he would have had the last episode throwback to the pilot.

Fortunately, Jeff Franklin got his wish when he got Fuller House on board with Netflix. The series premiere definitely did a great job revisiting the original show’s themes of a family coming together in the wake of tragedy and ending with everyone joining in song, as the pilot did. Those wholesome, family vibes of both series will always touch the hearts of audiences as well as the cast who helped shape the series.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 31 years since Full House’s final episode aired. Through Candace Cameron Bure’s reminder, it’s a clear sign that the show’s legacy will forever live on and continue to connect generations of viewers for a lifetime. As Candace Cameron Bure continues to change up her Christmas movies following her exit from Hallmark and move to Great American Family, the Full House star is remaining pretty busy. And it’s not just with her acting career. Not long after celebrating her 50^th birthday, Bure found out she’s going to be a grandmother, and Danica McKellar, Taylor Lautner, and more shared congrats.

Bure’s daughter, Natasha, and her husband, former Disney star Bradley Steven Perry, are expecting their first child together. After the happy couple shared the news on their Instagram pages, Bure couldn’t help but continue the celebration on her own Instagram. She posted a photo of the parents-to-be holding respective “Dada!” and “Mama!” mugs, with Natasha showing off her baby bump, alongside the sweet caption, “I’m gonna be a Candy Gram!!!!!!”

This will be Bure’s first grandchild, and it’s definitely crazy to think that D.J. Tanner is going to be a grandmother. Of course, she is as happy as ever, and so are many famous friends. Plenty of celebrities took to the comments of Bure’s post with congratulatory messages, while her daughter and son-in-law also replied, and it’s clear that Baby Perry is already so, so loved:

Considering the bad news plaguing the world these days, it’s always nice to get some good news every once in a while. It’s even better when many celebrities jump on the train as well, and I love how the announcement is bringing so many of them together. Not surprisingly, though, the comments are not just filled with celebrity congratulatory messages. Plenty of fans got in on the celebration, and even brought up Bure’s Full House persona:

The fact that Bure has gone from trapping her kids in a car to talk to them about sex to now celebrating one of her babies having a baby definitely shows just how fast time can fly.

This will be her first time being a grandmother, but since her oldest son, Levi, got married in 2024, it’s quite possible it won’t be long before she has another grandchild. It’s unknown when Baby Perry will make his or her entrance into the world, but time will surely fly as they continue to prepare. Candy Gram will probably be on hand to help, and I can’t imagine it any other way.

It’s going to be exciting seeing Bure and her family step into this new chapter of their lives. Whether or not she’ll be bringing her grandchild to the set of her Great American Movies is unknown, but at the very least, she’ll likely be bragging to all of her co-stars and the crew when the baby is born.

As someone who’s rocked her TV star status for 40 years, Candace Cameron Bure is no stranger to talking about her life and career, having given hundreds (or possibly thousands) of interviews during that span. Not to mention everything she divulges on her own via podcasts and social media videos. Having recently celebrated her 50th birthday in style, the actress addressed the idea that she may share too much on occasion, at least about her husband Valeri.

The couple first met as teenagers, eventually tying the knot in 1996, and in the years that followed, the Full House vet has shared details about their sex life on a variety of occasions, as well as other somewhat intimate details that Val might not have wanted everyone else to be aware of. Speaking with US Weekly, Bure shared that she’ll get home some days and quickly jump into apologizing for her quotes about their bedroom activities that made the rounds online. As she put it:

Though Bure seemingly didn’t lay out the details behind which clips and posts from The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast she was specifically talking about, there are enough examples out there to assume that they’re all technically applicable. Just in the last month, for instance, she confessed to co-host Madison Prewett Troutt that she and Valeri Bure once went to a party that was “an S&M-like sex thing that was so dark and demonic,” and said she saw acts there that she’d never witnessed before.

When it comes to instances like that, Bure says she’ll think about it after the fact and wonder why all those thoughts came out of her mouth in the first place. As she put it:

To be fair, it's not as if all of Candace Cameron Bure's anecdotes are about sex, or about her and Val's sex life. Even the ones that are tend to be more on the positive or neutral side, so at least she doesn't have to apologize for cracking jokes about his naughty bits or anything. Granted, privacy means different things to different people.

That said, the Great American Family actress did speak previously about how it took the couple a while to find shared optimal joy in the bedroom, stemming in part from a Christian upbringing and feelings of guilt and shame. As well, she's talked about how her and Val's sex life and general relationship were in dire straits around the time when the pandemic had everyone hunkered down indoors, and Bure said it was their son Lev who stepped up and preached marriage advice about prioritizing the relationship, and it worked.

A lot of the public's interest (or otherwise) surrounding Candace and Valeri Bure's sexcapades went into high gear back in 2020 when she posted a pic with Val where he's grabbing her boob, which sparked enough of a social media backlash that she addressed the hate in full weeks later. (It was enough of a moment to spark a parody pic from Ariel Winters four years later.)

Previously, Bure has spoken out about trapping her kids in a car to have THE sex talk, so it makes sense that she also apologizes to her three children on the occasion when her quotes about them go viral.

One can only hope that Bure has to apologize soon for slipping up and sharing all the secret info about her upcoming projects for Great American Family that'll be hitting the 2026 TV schedule later on in the year, whether it's Chrismas movies or cozy mysteries.

This weekend was quite the special one for Candace Cameron Bure, as not only did her family celebrate Easter, but she welcomed a big milestone birthday. The actress turned the big 5-0 on April 6, and her family was apparently ready with a surprise to make sure her day was as special as could be. Look, you don’t have to tell us that the Full House star still looks as gorgeous as ever, no matter her age. You guys, that is the face of a woman who’s not afraid of entering a new decade. In fact, she confirmed that she’s “excited” about it as she discussed how she planned to celebrate the big day. CCB told US Weekly:

I trust that her husband Val knows what he’s doing at this point — as long as he doesn’t accidentally take her to a sex party again.

She admitted she had no idea what her family had planned, other than a meal at the Mediterranean-inspired restaurant Casaléna, but I’m sure that having her three kids — Natasha, 27, Lev, 26, and Maks, 24 — all there to spend the day with her is what matters the most.

However, I can totally see Candace Cameron Bure being the kind of person who has a bit of trouble relinquishing control, and she admitted:

Keep an eye out for big things from Candace Cameron Bure this holiday season, as she works on changing up the typical Christmas movie formula. This year’s Great American Family offerings also include a sequel that offered her an acting opportunity she’s never had before.

Candace Cameron Bure used to be quite the mainstay on the Hallmark movie schedule, appearing in dozens of heartwarming Christmas romances and Aurora Teagarden Mysteries before jumping ship to Great American Family in hopes of producing more faith-centered content. Now, years later, it seems like the actress may have just thrown some shade at her previous body of work, as she discussed how she’s “evolving” her craft for this year’s slate of holiday films.

If Hallmark has taught us anything, it’s that it’s never too early to start planning for the holidays, and just like Lacey Chabert already has one Disney-themed flick in the bag for this year’s Countdown to Christmas, Candace Cameron Bure announced her latest upcoming project, One More Christmas, which will hit the 2026 TV schedule on GAF later this year. She’s not looking to do the same old, same old, either, as she told US Weekly:

I actually love the pivot, but also ... Shots fired! It is a big trope of TV movies — particularly those of the Hallmark oeuvre — that the big-city career woman reunites with an old boyfriend while home for the holidays and ends up realizing that everything she ever wanted has been right there all along. It’s something that fans should try not to overthink and that critics rail on when accusing Hallmark of being too formulaic.

Candace Cameron Bure not only seems aware of the tried-and-true plotline but intent on avoiding it. Since her 2022 exit, the Full House alum has said leaving Hallmark wasn’t an easy decision. However, as someone who gets “frustrated” with the way Christians are portrayed in movies, she had to accept the calling to change that at Great American Family — including with her latest movie announcement, as she explained:

The movie, which co-stars Jonathan Scarfe, is currently in production for the 2026 Great American Christmas lineup.

It’s a good thing Candace Cameron Bure doesn’t get tired of filming Christmas movies, because One More Christmas isn’t the only project we’ll see from her this holiday season. It was previously announced that she and Cameron Mathison will team up for A Sweet Christmas Anniversary — the third in their Home Sweet Christmas series. The movie was filmed on location in Europe, which was a first for the actress.

Whether or not Candace Cameron Bure intended to throw shade at Hallmark is up for debate, but either way, it seems pretty clear that she wants to sidestep at least some of the clichéd storylines we’re bound to see in the upcoming holiday season.

Candace Cameron Bure is more than keen to talk about her career, including her famed stints on the sitcom Full House and its spinoff, Fuller House. That aside, though, she’s also been quite candid about aspects of her personal life, including her marriage to husband Valeri Bure as well as her personal faith. On that note, Bure just recently told a particularly wild anecdote involving herself and her hubby. Apparently, there was one occasion on which the Bures accidentally ended up attending a sex party.

That story came up during a recent episode of The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast, during which the titular host and co-host Madison Prewett Troutt shared stories from their pasts. A major theme of this particular installment was the idea of people being formed by the individuals they surround themselves with. Bure acknowledged that she’d experienced “shameful” moments in life, some of which were prompted by her thinking, “Oh, this person’s a friend and I'm going to be cool and do this.” That’s when she recalled the party:

Needless to say, it sounds like the Bures were more than taken aback when they arrived at the event. As Candace Cameron went on to recall during the podcast (posted to YouTube), she and her husband made a “hard u-turn” and “walked right out of there.” The former child star then shared additional thoughts on the vibes she felt while at the party, and she didn’t mince words:

As evidenced by stories that have surfaced in recent years, sex parties apparently aren’t uncommon, especially within the celebrity sphere. Most notably, much has been said about the sex parties or “Freak-Offs” held by rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, which could apparently last days at a time. Of course, to be clear, Bure’s anecdote has no direct connection to Combs (who’s currently serving time in prison).

What this latest story from Candace Cameron Bure does, if anything, is further exemplify how willing she is to open up and be candid with her fans. That includes sharing the less glamorous parts of her life, like receiving hate-filled messages on social media. Bure also doesn’t hesitate to share the more awkward intimate moments she shares with her family, such as trapping her (now-grown) kids in a car at one point to have a sex talk.

It’s been said that over time, we live and learn, and it sounds like the Bures definitely did the latter after unwittingly attending that sex party. As for how she operates now, Bure’s comments in the podcast episode suggest that she allows her better judgement and faith to help guide her decisions.

In the history of TV families, Full House stands out as a beloved property that has been fondly remembered for decades, and that eventually even led to the Fuller House spinoff. When It Comes To The Olsens, Sweetin Feels A Lot Of Empathy

Jodie Sweetin spent her formative years on the set of Full House, but she told Bob The Drag Queen in a recent interview the girls were much younger when they kicked off their TV careers. What followed was a whirlwind of fame and money, but looking from the outside, she personally feels Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were overworked.

They didn’t have the same choice to be in the industry she feels she had as a younger person. On her end, the struggles in her career actually came as her years as a child actor were ending. She wasn’t sure what she would do as an adult, but she also didn’t have the millions of eyeballs following her every single moment in public her onscreen sisters did.

She’s not really surprised Mary-Kate and Ashley ultimately left the industry. (Mostly, Mary-Kate had a few roles as an adult.) Time passed and the cast grew apart. Sweetin opened up about finally seeing the Olsens at Bob Saget’s funeral in 2022, and how she feels about their relationship changing over time.

Everyone reunited in 2022 at Bob Saget's "punk rock shiva," which also featured appearances from fellow comedians like Dave Chappelle and Jeff Ross, his pal John Mayer, and the dudes in the Full House cast. Since then, they've gone their separate ways again. Unlike the older gang, Sweetin thinks the age gap is one of the reasons the girls separated themselves from the rest of the Full House cast, who really have supported one another publicly and came together for the revival, which is still available to watch with a Netflix subscription.

Now, just because Sweetin doesn’t feel any ill will towards the twins doesn’t mean there aren’t occasionally differences of opinion and disagreements within the cast. Candace Cameron Bure’s exit from Hallmark and comments about “traditional marriage” did inspire Sweetin to speak out against her co-star a while back. They obviously have appeared together at events since, but sometimes a full house can lead to conflict.

How Jodie Sweetin Feels About Candace Cameron Bure Now

Sweetin has previously said she has a different viewpoint than Bure. Back in 2022, Candace posted her comments about “traditional marriage” and Sweetin followed up with her own comments about being an LGBTQ ally. Fuller House had ended its run by that point, and both had moved on to new projects, but they managed to reunite at ‘90s Con some months later.

The actress has a very pragmatic approach to her relationship with her former co-star, noting she knows who she is as a person. But she also knows who Bure is.

For her part, Bure has said it's all "love" with her Full and Fuller House family. She knows from the outside, it can seem like they "bicker," but she seems grateful to still be a part of the group and show that set the tone of her career. While the Olsens don't always participate, it seems like it's all love from Sweetin there, too.

There are countless wonderful and amusing things about being a parent — like finding out your teen actually has great taste in movies or wondering how your 9-year-old learned about The Shining. Other things, like the inevitable birds and bees talk, aren’t so fun. No worries, though, because Candace Cameron Bure is here to help. Just like Full House provided so many of us with life lessons growing up, the DJ Tanner portrayer opened up about trapping her kids in a car for that big S-E-X talk.

There’s a large contingency of Candace Cameron Bure’s fans who are Christians, and some haven’t always loved hearing her talking openly about sex or seeing her husband getting touchy-feely with her in photos. But she insists that we shouldn’t be ashamed of our bodies or of sex within marriage, and we need to educate our children about that. She continued:

I really love her perspective here, and it’s true that rewatching Full House episodes with our kids might be a way more fun use of our free time, but the sex talk isn’t something we can or should avoid. So why not make a captive audience of your age-appropriate kiddos by strapping them in the car, setting your eyes straight ahead on the road and diving into the birds and the bees?

It’s no secret that for Candace Cameron Bure, faith comes first. It’s something that’s helped to inspire career decisions, like her move to Great American Family from Hallmark, and one that she admits isn’t always easy in the entertainment industry. While trying to win love on The Bachelor is admittedly different from trying to win a dance show, they were in agreement about the competitive instinct kicking in. Prewett referenced a Bible verse that seemed especially poignant, saying:

Candace Cameron Bure agreed wholeheartedly, because of course it’s natural to want people to like you and to be successful at whatever it is you’re trying to do. I can definitely see how not caring about the opinion and acceptance of others would be difficult; it seems like reality TV requires the exact opposite.

The same Bible verse was apparently also a source of comfort for Candace Cameron Bure during Season 18 of DWTS (when she, incidentally, came in third place with pro partner and Traitors Season 4 cast member Mark Ballas). Bure said:

The actress didn’t mention it in this conversation, but she more recently competed on The Masked Singer after being inspired by her Full House co-star Bob Saget’s appearance. She was eliminated after her first performance and has admitted that was a blow to her ego. I can only imagine this verse came up around that time, too.

This discussion about how their reality TV experiences challenged their focus on faith is just the latest topic tackled by Candace Cameron Bure and Madison Prewett. They’ve previously shared strong feelings about how Christians are portrayed in the media, and Prewett has spoken a lot about the trauma she experienced on The Bachelor, including the witchy nickname producers gave themselves.

While trying to stay grounded while competing on television may have been challenging, that’s probably nothing in comparison to the criticism they’ve faced on social media — and in Madison Prewett’s case, from Peter Weber’s mother. For that, their faith in God has 100% helped them not feel the need to fight back in the comments.

It’s hard to believe it’s been four years since we lost the great comedian Bob Saget. The former stand-up comic and star of Full House died in a tragic accident four years ago today, and several of his co-stars, Candace Cameron Bure, John Stamos and Dave Coulier, took a moment to remember him on this unfortunate anniversary.

Bure took to Instagram and posted a collection of photos of herself and Saget. Some of them are more recent, from the period in and around the Fuller House reboot, but a couple of these are true throwbacks to when Candace Cameron Bure was just a kid named Candace Cameron. It’s a relationship that has spanned most of her life, and seeing it in pictures is equal parts heartwarming and heartbreaking.

Bob Saget is one of those performers that a generation grew up watching, and so it felt like they knew the man personally. He was one of America’s most famous dads as Danny Tanner on Full House, even if his stand-up work was far more mature. John Stamos posted his own Instagram tribute, with shots from both the Full House days and more recent times, showing the progression of a long friendship. In his post, Stamos said…

John Stamos and Bob Saget certainly came a long way. Stamos has previously said he didn’t like his co-star that much, but the two ultimately became very good friends. They spent one of their last days together at Stamos’ favorite place, Disneyland. Considering how random and unexpected Saget’s death was, there was certainly no way to know it would be the last time they would see each other. Sagat is believed to have died from injuries sustained from an accidental fall in his hotel room in Florida where he was on tour performing stand-up.

The third member of the Full House trio, Dave Coulier, didn’t miss the chance to tell the world what Bob Saget meant to him, in his own Instagram post, he said he thought his friend would want that…

It’s clear that Bob Saget meant a lot to those whose lives he touched. For those who knew him and those wno simply watched him, we’re all poorer now that he’s gone. Our thoughts go out to his friends and family on this difficult day.

Candace Cameron Bure made big news a few years ago, when she announced she was leaving Hallmark to join Great American Family. The Full House alum has always been open about her spirituality, and it seems her big move, which allowed her to produce more faith-based content, might have been partly out of necessity, because it turns out she’s got strong feelings about how Christians are portrayed on TV shows and in movies.

The actress spoke candidly about the issue on The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast in a conversation with Madison Prewett. After The Bachelor alum brought up how Christianity can be “twisted” on reality TV, the host jumped in with her full-fledged agreement, saying:

I think it can be tough for TV and movie writers in general to properly represent any group of people — whether it’s Christians or something else — through a single character, because all nuance is lost and it ends up feeling more like a stereotype.

However, it seems like this issue becomes even worse in instances like Candace Cameron Bure is talking about, where Christians aren’t just written as broad generalizations but as fundamentally bad people who use their faith to cause harm.

Madison Prewett agreed, saying that if the media’s portrayal were real — showing so-called Christians either abusing God’s grace to live however they want or using religion to pass judgment on others — she wouldn’t want to be a part of it either.

It sounds like Candace Cameron Bure is trying to change that perception. In addition to her work as GAF’s Chief Creative Officer, where she’s produced holiday movies with themes of faith and family like Timeless Tidings of Joy, she also produced the 2024 Christian drama Unsung Heroes. The true story of the Christian music duo For King + Country saw mixed reviews from critics but was wildly popular on Rotten Tomatoes’ Popcornmeter.

This year has already been a reflective one for the actress, as she opened up recently about how her faith keeps her humble amid the “flashbulbs” of Hollywood. Her relationship with God, however, has never been a topic she’s shied away from, as she has said her faith is “the core and foundation of who I am.”

Surely she continues to put that energy into her work, and one of her upcoming projects is even providing her with an opportunity she’s never had before. Coming later this year to Great American Family, Candace Cameron Bure will team up with Cameron Mathison for A Sweet Christmas Anniversary, which will film on location in Salzburg, Austria.

Despite the fact that Bure has been acting since she was a child, she said she’s never filmed in Europe before, so I’m sure she’s excited about this third movie in the Home Sweet Christmas series and another opportunity to fight negative portrayals of Christianity on our screens.

Candace Cameron Bure is a bit of an odd duck, at least in Hollywood. Not because she has a strongly cemented marriage (though it only came with work), three beautiful children, and a career at GAF that allows her to also produce, but amidst many Hollywood stars, she’s one of the few who's allowed her public identity to correspond with her faith. So, what’s it like living in Hollywood as a God-fearing person among “the people and the flashbulbs?” Someone finally asked her.

Bure also previously said she’s “spoken so harshly” to her body in the past thanks to Hollywood ideals, and it was her faith that led her back to a healthier place.

As When Calls the Heart fans prepare for the much-anticipated 13^th season on the 2026 TV schedule, they are coming together for a completely different reason that involves one of the stars, and they aren’t the only ones. After Erin Krakow revealed some baby news, Candace Cameron Bure, Lacey Chabert, and more rom-com stars were quick to respond.

The WCTH star shared on Instagram Wednesday morning that she and co-star and husband, Ben Rosenbaum, are expecting their first child. In a joint post, Krakow wrote, “So much to be grateful for!!!” alongside some sweet polaroids of the two of them showing off the sonogram. I just love seeing my favorite rom-com actors interacting with each other, especially when it comes to news such as a pregnancy, engagement, marriage, or anything along those lines. And what makes it even better is seeing former Hallmark stars, such as Candace Cameron Bure, share a sweet response, as it shows that even though she’s not on the network anymore and has taken over GAF, she remains close to her Hallmark friends.

As previously mentioned, Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum got married in June, and while their characters, Elizabeth and Mike, are not lovers, that didn’t seem to stop them from having their own love story. They are one of the few real-life love stories to come from When Calls the Heart, and it will be exciting to see that story continue with their own bundle of joy. And it seems like they are already so loved and have many aunts and uncles.

Meanwhile, this baby news couldn’t have come at a better time. Krakow revealed on Instagram in late October that filming has wrapped on When Calls the Heart Season 13, which is officially premiering on January 4 on Hallmark Channel. So Krakow will be able to rest and put most of her focus on the baby.

It’s a little early to predict what could happen if the show moves forward with a 14^th season, especially since Elizabeth and Nathan's relationship can be unpredictable, but Krakow will just have to cross that bridge if and when it happens. For now, it’s just an exciting time for her and Rosenbaum.

Candace Cameron was still thought of as a fresh-faced child star when her co-star, Dave Coulier, introduced her to pro hockey player Val Bure, on a night that also saw them hanging out with Full House actors/friends Bob Saget and Lori Laughlin. It only took about two years for the actress and athlete to marry, in 1996, meaning that they’ve now been together for nearly 30 years.

While speaking on the Stay True podcast recently, the 2025 Christmas movie schedule actress (whose daughter, Natasha, recently honored her while getting married) opened up about how difficult it can be to remain coupled throughout the hard times in life, and said:

Cameron Bure noted that having children can add a lot of pressure, particularly because kids “demand all of you” and once they get older can turn into “little manipulative beings that are so stinking cute” but “pit” spouses against each other.

I feel like when you think about the sheer trend, you have to think about it on a spectrum. On one end, you have naked dresses, like the ones Margot Robbie and Jenna Ortega have rocked. On the other end, you have garments that aren’t fully sheer but feature panels of it, like the dress Candace Cameron Bure wore, which was opaque with the exception of a few cool sheer cutouts.

Considering the Christmas movie schedule is about to kick into high gear, Candace Cameron Bure is starting to promote her upcoming work. So, she stopped by Fox 5 New York to chat about her project on the 2025 movie schedule, Another Sweet Christmas, as well as her book Rise and Renew: A 30-Day Devotional. What a classy take on the sheer trend! Upon first glance, I didn’t realize that her look was see-through. For a second, I could only see the deep blue top and skirt. However, then, I noticed the black paneling around the waist of her dress.

It looks like the black sheer panel goes around Bure’s waist, and is shaped into a V in the middle, and I’m here for it. It adds some edge to her fit, and I’m such a fan of mixing edgy and classy elements together.

Over the last year, we’ve seen a lot of fashion moments that feature sheer cutouts like this as well. Isla Fisher recently rocked a corset dress to a Now You See Me: Now You Don’t photocall that was made of crushed velvet and featured a sheer lace corset around her waist. Meanwhile, Karen Gillan rocked the coolest red minidress this summer that had incredibly unique sheer cutouts on the sides. Oh, and about a year ago, Emma Stone attended a premiere in a black sheer dress that had numerous cutouts. So, it feels like there are an infinite number of ways to make this trend your own, and I love how they all did it.

I also adore how Candace Cameron Bure did it. This look was perfect for the event, and I appreciate the juxtaposition of the navy blue T-shirt top and long skirt with the sheer sides.

After seeing this look, I’m really looking forward to seeing the kinds of fashion moments the Full House actress puts together as the holiday season really gets going. Her take on sheer showed off the other side of the spectrum that comes with this trend, and I’d love to see how she can make other styles her own.

I’m sure she’ll do just that, too, seeing as she’s releasing three Christmas movies this year. Timeless Tidings of Joy and Home Sweet Christmas Wedding are set to premiere on Great American Family over the next few months. Along with Candace being her something blue, she also asked her dad, Valeri Bure, who has been married to the Full House star for nearly 30 years, to walk her down the aisle to a special song, which was “Mia & Sebastian’s Theme” from La La Land.

The bride didn’t hold back when explaining how much her parents’ involvement in the ceremony meant to her, sweetly saying:

There are some weddings that just look as though they could be featured in a storybook, and that's definitely the case with Bure and Perry's nuptials. The Full House alum took to her Instagram story to answer some questions from her followers, and one query involved some photos that were no longer showing up on Candace Cameron Bure’s page. The Great American Family actress got real with the fan, who asked if she had posted a bikini pic and then deleted it, responding:

However, it sounds like some fans were missing the intent of the post, choosing to comment about her body. Clearly uncomfortable with what was happening, she ended the conversation by removing the pics.

The actress has dealt with scrutiny about her body for pretty much her entire life, after skyrocketing to fame as D.J. Tanner on Full House at the age of 11. Her changing body was even written into the show, with one Season 4 episode showing the teen going to unhealthy lengths to lose weight for a pool party.

It’s an episode that makes her former co-stars Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber uncomfortable, and rightly so, as it seems nearly 35 years later, Bure is still having to deal with the public’s unkind musings.

Candace Cameron Bure has spoken about the issue before, saying that while she’s a middle-aged woman who can deal with the “daily” hate she receives, we need to think about how seeing comments like that affects younger women, teens and even our children.

Because even though the actress can deal with the adversity now — which definitely sometimes means just deleting the post — she has struggled to not take others’ opinions to heart, opening up about how “harsh” she’s been on her body as a woman in Hollywood.

Additionally, following her turn in the Aurora Teagarden films on Hallmark, Bure has found another mystery film series to lead, Ainsley McGregor Mysteries. She was just asked about another potential installment, and she had a hopeful response.

Bure stars in 2024's The Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: A Case for the Winemaker and earlier this year, she headlined another Ainsley flick, A Case for the Yarn Maker, based on Candace Havens' books of the same name. The series focuses on the titular protagonist, who's a former criminologist. Although there's yet to be official confirmation of another film in the series, Bure expressed optimism when responding to a fan via her Instagram stories about a potential threequel:

However, considering Bure is apparently hanging with her co-stars and shared the "I spy" caption, it feels like something is cooking! Now, I just have questions about what might be on the horizon.

I mean, if a third Ainsley McGregor Mysteries movie is on the way, what will it be about? Will it be a direct adaptation of another one of the books or an original idea? Regardless, I'm just thrilled that Bure and co. seem to be getting back into it.

There are five books in Candace Havens' series, and the films are seemingly being adapted in order, meaning that 2020’s A Case for the Toy Maker would be next to be adapted. That particular story is a Christmas-centered tale. If it’s indeed being adapted and filmed, it would make sense for the film to come out around the holidays. And it seems like there is snow in the picture that Bure posted. Of course, I won't get too ahead of myself, as I could be way off here. Still, I'm liking the idea of sitting back in a sweater and drinking hot chocolate while watching an Ainsley holiday movie.

Meanwhile, with Bure recently filming yet another Christmas movie, fans will likely have much to look forward to come the holiday season. The yuletide would be even more festive if another Ainsley McGregor Mysteries movie were to be released.

Hopefully, concrete information on a supposed third Ainsley McGregor Mysteries film will be revealed soon, if it is actually happening. I know I'll be keeping my eyes peeled on Candace Cameron Bure's social media accounts for any additional nuggets or teases. Victor Webster recently appeared in his fourth Hannah Swensen movie — Pie to Die For — on Hallmark Mystery, in which he and Alison Sweeney (Hannah Swensen herself) had to do the tango. While his co-star picked up the choreography quicker than him, Webster told EntertainmentNow, he ended up really enjoying himself. He had so much fun that he said he’d even go on Dancing with the Stars — but there’s a deeper reason why. The actor explained:

It’s absolutely adorable that Victor Webster would take time away from filming his upcoming Hallmark movies to make his goddaughter, Eden, so happy. It doesn’t seem out of the question, either, as other Hallmark actors have been on the ABC dance competition.

Before Candace Cameron Bure, Danica McKellar and Trevor Donovan left Hallmark for Great American Family, they vied for the Mirrorball Trophy on Dancing with the Stars. Bure and McKellar were even on the same season together — Season 18 — where McKellar was eliminated sixth but Bure made it all the way to third place. No wonder she continues to support the DWTS pros. Trevor Donovan, meanwhile, competed on Season 31 and was eliminated 10th.

Jesse Metcalfe, who starred in a handful of Hallmark movies as well as the series Chesapeake Shores, danced in Season 29, where he had a relatively short run and was sent home fourth.

It’s a bit surprising that Hallmark queen Lacey Chabert has never taken a turn on the dance floor, and fans definitely wanted to see her on DWTS after Christmas Waltz, where she showed off her skills with Will Kemp. She and Kemp even reunited for The Dancing Detective: A Deadly Tango and then shared a dance in A Merry Scottish Christmas.

We can continue to hold out hope that Lacey Chabert will answer Dancing with the Stars’ calls, but in the meantime we’ve got Victor Webster ready to go! Will we see him when the competition returns this fall? It’s impossible to say, because as of this writing we only know that DWTS Season 34 will include social media star Alix Earle and wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin (whose sister Bindi won Season 21).

It’s been enjoyable as someone who grew up watching Full House (and still streams it with my Max subscription) to see how close its cast remains after all these years. Candace Cameron Bure has a particularly special bond with Dave Coulier, and there’s a good reason — it turns out he introduced her to her husband! This bit of Tanner trivia had eluded me until now, and I can’t get over their sweet social media exchange as Bure celebrated her 29th wedding anniversary.

Candace Cameron Bure — who continues to appear on the 2025 TV schedule as part of Great American Family’s slate of movies — posted a tribute to her husband Valeri Bure in celebration of nearly three decades of marriage. She was also sure to thank her former co-star for making it all possible. In an Instagram post, she wrote:

Dave Coulier — who played the hilariously named Joey Gladstone on Full House, who moved in to help best friend Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) raise his three daughters — seemed to appreciate the shout-out, but he took no credit as he referenced the night the Bures met, as he responded:

Why do I feel like the love between these two friends is almost overshadowing her wedding anniversary? No, I’m just kidding (mostly), but Dave Coulier does appear to be the only non-family member to make the cut in Candace Cameron Bure’s post of throwback photos. Check him out on the second slide:

These pics are so adorable, and 20-year-old CCB and her 22-year-old groom look like babies in their wedding attire! It’s cute to see them celebrating their love alongside their three children (and Dave Coulier) throughout the years.

Given the huge role that her Full House co-star played in her personal life, it makes even more sense why Candace Cameron Bure said Dave Coulier’s cancer diagnosis was “devastating” for her. Thankfully, the comedian has since announced that he’s cancer-free — a fact that was celebrated loud and proud by the oldest of the Tanner daughters.

Twenty-nine years is quite the accomplishment for Valeri and Candace Cameron Bure, as is the actress’ 39-year friendship with Dave Coulier and the other stars of Full House. Full House’s original run on ABC may have ended nearly 30 years ago, but it remains a beloved family sitcom (with a pretty catchy theme song). There are several possible reasons the show has stood the test of time, and cast members have discussed this for years. Candace Cameron Bure has her own unique theory involving Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, as she made a rare comment about her on-screen sisters.

Candace Cameron Bure was a guest on the Hey Dude… The 90s Called podcast, where she discussed why her sitcom gained the popularity that others (including hosts David Lascher and Christine Taylor’s Hey Dude) did not. Bure pointed out that Full House broke the mold in a big way with the Olsen twins, saying:

It seems so simple, but it’s a great point. Usually, when there’s a baby on a series, you may continue to see that character, but the actor (or actors) portraying them change as the baby gets older. For the Olsen twins, we saw them at 9 months, and they grew naturally with the show for eight years.

The Great American Family actress also said the non-traditional family aspect struck a chord with viewers — three girls being raised without a mom (by one of the best TV dads ever) resonated with families without two parents or with kids living with grandparents, etc. There’s also the fact that Candace Cameron Bure found Full House — available to stream with a Hulu subscription or Max subscription — “so sweet” when she watched for the first time in ages.

The actress went on to talk about her relationship with Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen and admitted that despite playing sisters on TV for eight years, they don’t talk all that often. In CCB’s words:

While Candace Cameron Bure can still be found in projects on the 2025 TV schedule, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen left Hollywood behind them and became big players in the fashion industry. The 10-year age difference between the actresses is also a valid reason for the TV sisters not keeping in touch.

While Bure was a young adult when Full House ended, the Olsen sisters were just 8 (even younger than Bure when FH started), and Jodie Sweetin made a really good point when she asked how much anybody remembers about life before 8 years old?

Still, Candace Cameron Bure called Mary-Kate and Ashley “lovely people” and said when they all reunited for Bob Saget’s funeral, it was “so comfortable” being around them: “Like picking up wherever it left off.”

Sounds like real-life sisters to me!

Decades after playing the oldest Tanner sister on the beloved sitcom Full House, Candace Cameron Bure continues to appear on our screens. In addition to her Great American Family movies that you can find on the 2025 TV schedule, she has appeared on Dancing with the Stars and conquered her fear of singing in front of people on The Masked Singer. Given her recent comments on “demonic” scary movies, however, I think it’s safe to say that’s one genre we won’t be seeing her in.

The topic of horror movies came up on The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast, and the eponymous host did not mince words as she talked about some forms of media being a “portal” for dark forces. In her words:

Candace Cameron Bure has talked openly about her faith, and she often takes a conservative point of view when it comes to the entertainment industry — including her (and her husband’s) feelings on kissing other men in movies. The fact that she’s so familiar with the behind-the-scenes of it all does not change her views on the scary stuff. She continued:

The actress seems comfortable staying firmly in the family-friendly lane, so I definitely won’t be looking for her name in any upcoming horror movies. Fans will, however, be able to see her again this Christmas, as she’s already started filming for the upcoming holiday season.

Candace Cameron Bure has talked about what it’s like filming Christmas movies in the summer heat (and honestly, if I had to wear jackets and scarves in the summer months, I’d probably be so unpleasant that you’d think I was a demonic portal). She admits that it’s “weird” that her job is Christmas 24/7, but said it doesn’t keep her from still loving the holiday.

In fact, she’s set to star in (at least) two GAF Christmas films later this year. In Timeless Tidings of Joy, CCB will play Ally, who inherits her grandmother’s shop, with her daughter Natasha Bure portraying a young version of her grandmother Joy. A second movie with the working title Home Sweet Christmas Wedding reunites her with Cameron Mathison for a sequel to 2024’s Home Sweet Christmas.

That’s sure to make Candace Cameron Bure’s fans happy, as well as the actress, as she stays away from scarier projects she wouldn’t be comfortable with. Keep an eye out for premiere dates for her GAF movies later this year.

Sitcoms of the 1980s and ‘90s were rife with teen icons who continue to be vital parts of the 2025 TV schedule decades later. Full House, Family Matters, Friends and so many more are among the most rewatchable series, and Candace Cameron Bure just blew my mind with a throwback post showing so many young actors of that era — Danica McKellar, Jennifer Aniston, Jaleel White and more — sharing the screen on a ‘90s TV movie.

If you were a kid in 1990, you might remember Camp Cucamonga — aka the “zaniest, most hilarious summer vacation ever” — which aired on NBC. If this ‘90s gem passed you by, though, get ready for a smack of nostalgia that’ll knock you out of your high-tops, as Candace Cameron Bure shared the following pics and videos to Instagram:

That group picture is like a who’s who of stars of the best sitcoms of all time. In addition to the Full House star, you’ve got Cheers star John Ratzenberger, Sherman Hemsley of All in the Family and its just-as-good spinoff The Jeffersons, Danica McKellar and Josh Saviano from The Wonder Years, Jennifer Aniston four years before she found fame on Friends, Family Matters’ Jaleel White, Chad Allen of My Two Dads, Breckin Meyer and so many more.

That last name was of particular interest to Kelly Rizzo, the widow of Candace Cameron Bure’s Full House co-star, Bob Saget, who is now dating the Clueless actor. Rizzo commented:

She wasn’t the only one of CCB’s Full House family to weigh in, as Dave Coulier’s wife, Melissa, clearly remembered Camp Cucamonga, calling it:

Why am I having so much FOMO over a fictional camp? As wild as it is to see so many of those actors in the same photo, I also can’t get over the videos! Candace Cameron Bure shared behind-the-scenes footage of the cast practicing their dance moves (I need to brush up on my “Running Man” skills) and just goofing off between scenes.

We even get a clip of Candace Cameron Bure’s Amber getting shown up by Danica McKellar’s Lindsey when the former wasn’t able to get her moves right. That was the slide that probably stuck out the most to Jen Lilley, who — like Bure and McKellar — left Hallmark for Great American Family. Lilley tagged McKellar as she commented:

This post is simply full of memories, and I’m astonished to think of all of these actors not just sharing the screen for the 1990 TV movie but hanging out and having what must have been like an actual summer camp of their own! Unfortunately, Camp Cucamonga doesn’t appear to be available to stream so, hopefully, you’ve still got your recorded-from-TV VHS version lying around somewhere.

As the seasons get warmer for many of us, long gone are the days of fluffy white snow, festive sweaters and holiday parties. However, that’s not the case for Candace Cameron Bure; she’s already filmed a new Christmas movie, and she is working on another that will appear on the 2025 TV schedule. The jolly schedule isn’t new, though. The ​​former child star has long been working the Hallmark and now Great American Family holiday scene, and continuously holds that twinkle in her eye year-round. And the TV movie royalty just shared her feelings about staying in the spirit.

Bure (who famously switched to GAF a few years ago) shared some BTS content of the latest flick on her Instagram stories, along with some clips of her answering common questions. This included her addressing the biggest question many of her DM’ers asked–does it feel like St. Nick is knocking on her door every day, and does it bore her?

Her response showcased that all five months of 2025 have been X-mas packed, as she explained:

Wow! The Full House alum really lives, breaths, sleeps and repeats the winter celebration well past the season. It does make sense, though, considering how many holiday movies she's in each year. Plus, she’s one of the many Hallmark and GAF stars to discuss the ins and outs of filming Christmas movies in the heat, so we know that this festive work happens at all times of the year.

Even with the day-in and day-out schedule, Bure said she has nothing but love for the end-of-year holiday. She did reveal that she can separate the actual big show from the fictitious sets she’s on and is thrilled that sunnier days lie ahead. Along with it, she did note that the second flick’s location actually caters to December-esque weather:

I’m glad this set is refreshingly appropriate for sweaters, coats and other winter essentials. The thought of anyone sweating through multiple layers in the summer while in a parka makes me dizzy just thinking about it!

The Fuller House star then outlined how she stays cheery about Christmas, essentially 365 days a year, without tiring. Basically, it boils down to her recognizing that the cozy holiday comfort movie jobs are just that, a job. Summer is also her big motivator in helping anchor that idea to the ground, as she said:

Keeping the two apart in her head makes a lot of sense. Each season brings such a different vibe to the table, and if Bure were to walk into June with a December feel, things would probably get weird quickly. I’m glad that she’s nailed that rule down in her head, because it all adds to the Christmas movie-making magic for Hallmark and GAF.

It’s great that Candace Cameron Bure enjoys working like an elf for us all year to make these wonderful Christmas films and does not tire of the December 25th holiday. Her festive spirit is appreciated at all times of the year, and it makes me extra excited for the upcoming holiday season!

Even though it’s only May, it’s never too early to start thinking about the holiday season heading to the 2025 TV schedule. Drinking hot chocolate, maybe wrapping up in a blanket as the snow falls, and watching some cheesy Christmas movies is a highlight of the season. However, for the stars of such movies, filming usually comes at a very different time of the year. Bure has spoken out about filming Christmas movies in the heat before, and according to her most recent post, the most wonderful time of the year has come early again.

Seriously, Bure is no stranger to getting into the holiday spirit months in advance. She’s been filming Christmas movies for over 10 years now, with a chunk of them going to Hallmark before she famously switched to GAF. Bure’s long been the Queen of Christmas, and she took to her Instagram Stories to share photos from the set of her newest film. She seemed to be all set for cold weather even though it’s still spring (and hot in many places already).

It may be hard to get into the Christmas spirit when it's May, but when you’ve been doing this for as long as Bure, you're likely used to it. And pro? It’s basically like Santa comes twice a year.

Plus, it probably also helps to get into the holiday spirit when Christmas decorations and what I thought was fake snow but isn't always is being trucked in. Bure shared another photo to her Stories, posing in front of a trailer that is decked out in holly and all the decorations, and I am loving how into it everyone gets:

There are few details about the holiday movie Bure is filming, but more information about it should be released in the coming months. Whatever it is will surely get fans into the holiday spirit, as it’s doing for her already. Whether or not she will be filming more for this year remains to be seen, but it’s likely if she’s filming another one, it will be in even warmer weather. I wish her luck.

Some stars on Bure’s former home network, Hallmark, have opened up about what it’s really like filming a holiday movie in the summer, with Paul Greene previously admitting he had to pretend it was cold when it was sweltering. As I noted prior, Bure herself has also looked pretty hot (literally) while filming Christmas movies when it is far from cold, but she has managed the inconvenience well.

One of the secrets of filming Christmas movie is that they are filmed earlier in the year for a holiday season release (outside of the handful that are part of Christmas in July. That being said, it will be exciting to see what Bure is cooking up for the upcoming holiday season later this year.

In the years since hanging up her Tanner family duds with Fuller House’s easter egg-filled final season, Candace Cameron Bure has largely stayed busy building up her career as a multi-hyphenate creative for Great American Media and kicking off a new cozy movie mystery franchise as Ainsley McGregor. (Not to mention performing on The Masked Singer to honor Bob Saget.) She’s also been as active as ever on social media, and opened up about the age-related negativity she’s faced online.

Taking to Instagram Stories, where the day before she’d shared her thoughts on Sunday’s sermon, Bure posted a pic of a DM sent by a fan (for lack of a better word) who sent a screengrab of the actress talking, with the following message attached:

• "U look really old here...not aging well???"

Bure surprisingly left the person's name publicized as part of her post, and also shared her own reaction to the message, which was essentially to point out that it's far from the only example in her inbox. As she put it:

It wasn't too long before Candace Cameron Bure shared another introspective post in regards to the hateful messages she receives, perhaps due to an influx in messages specifically inquiring about the prior post. Though it's hard to tell whether or not the follow-up responses were positive or not. In her words:

When it comes to social media comments, celebrities are often damned if they do, and damned if they don't. In this context, Bure faces rude comments about how she looks for her age, but to her point, if she didn't choose to go "naturally," then the odds are high that she'd get hateful messages about the outcome of whatever elective surgery she chose to get.

Bure reflected on the notion that others' negativity likely has a source that hits close to home for them. As she put it:

Candace Cameron Bure has spoken out about receiving “public hate” in the more recent years of her lengthy entertainment career, with a lot of it tying back to her comments about “traditional marriages” after taking on the Great American Media gig. (Those comments sparked a rumored feud between Bure and fellow Full House vet Jodie Sweetin, which Sweetin more recently claimed was a non-issue.

When it comes to getting back to work on the small screen, Candace Cameron Bure will soon be seen reprising the role of criminologist Ainsley McGregor in the second live-action adaptation of Candace Havens' novels, with A Case for the Winemaker having debuted in 2024. The second film, Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: A Case for the Yarn Maker, will co-star Aaron Ashmore and Robin Dunne, and recently release the first trailer, seen below!

For eight seasons, Jodie Sweetin and Candace Cameron Bure starred as sisters on the hit ABC sitcom Full House and, years later, they reprised their roles for the sequel series, Fuller House. The ensemble casts of both shows are famously close, and that’s long been the case for Bure and Sweetin. However, their relationship seemed to hit a rough patch after Bure made comments about “traditional marriage” as it pertained to her new gig at Great American Family. Now, Sweetin is getting real about what actually went down between them.

Candace Cameron Bure, who’d long worked with Hallmark, left the network for Great American Family in 2022. Around that time, the veteran actress gave an interview in which she said that the movies she’d produce for the company would keep “traditional marriage” at its core. JoJo Siwa, Hilarie Burton and more chastised Bure for her remarks, and Jodie Sweetin later chimed in, without specifically naming her former co-star as well. Making note of her status as an LGBTQ+ ally, Sweetin defended Siwa and expressed support.

The longtime Stephanie Tanner actress’ activism came up during her appearance on The Vault Podcast. One of the co-hosts noted that she and her co-star hold very differing views and said that the two had “gotten into it” due to their difference of opinion on the LGBTQ+ community. However, the star went on to provide some clarity on that front:

Jodie Sweetin was later asked to shed a bit more light on the nature of her relationship with Candace Cameron Bure, specifically in regard to how they interact with each other at public events. With that, Sweetin went on to describe what sounds like a relatively civil relationship akin to one between relatives:

Shortly after the “traditional marriage” brouhaha, it was suggested that there was beef between the two former child stars. It appeared that Candace Cameron Bure unfollowed her former co-star on social media. Around that time an unnamed source also alleged that Bure was unhappy with Jodi Sweetin making public comments as opposed to speaking about the matter with her one on one. On top of that, Bure was also candid about the backlash she received, saying she’d never experienced that kind of blowback.

Though Jodie Sweetin and Candace Cameron Bure eventually disagreed again over the “last supper” moment at the 2024 Summer Olympics, it’d been reported that the two are on relatively good terms. In 2023, they also reunited at ‘90s Con alongside co-stars Dave Coulier, Andrea Barber and more. Based on Sweetin’s comments and what’s transpired in the time since Bure’s comments hit the web, it seems the two still love and respect each other, even if they don’t see eye to eye on every topic.

Candace Cameron Bure is not one to shy away from talking about topics like receiving hate from the public or Hollywood’s beauty expectations. She’s also very open about the role faith plays in her life. Now, the actress has mixed those two things together by talking about her own struggles with negative self-talk and body image and a story from the Bible that helped her change her perspective on how she thinks about her body.

The story the holiday film star was referring to came from Numbers 22 in the Bible. It was about a man named Balaam and his donkey, and Bure said she had a dream where she was basically Balaam. Through this, she said God told her that she’s been treating her body harshly, which led her to a revelation. Getting emotional and candid about it all on The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast, the actress explained:

In the story, after the donkey Balaam is riding veers from the path, Bure explained, the man whips the animal to get it back on track. Eventually, God intervenes and allows the donkey to speak to Balaam, and the animal asks the human why he’s being treated this way when he’s proven to be so loyal to Balaam.

In the case of Bure, she said she had a dream where she was Balaam and her body was the donkey. The actress explained that her body spoke to her and asked her why she was treating it poorly:

The Full House actress continued to recall this dream and how she reacted afterward. She’s always been open about her faith, and it seems like this moment where her life paralleled a biblical story really moved her. She called this an “amazing revelation” that really helped her with self-talk and body image, explaining:

She went on to say that this moment in her life was “enlightening.” She also opened up about how it’s helped her perspective evolve, explaining:

Clearly, this moment had a major impact on Bure, as she was visibly tearing up as she recalled it.

Over the years, the Great American Family star has addressed how she handles topics like this as well. From body image to online criticism, she’s been open about how faith helps her deal with the tougher aspects of life.

Religion has also played a much bigger part in her career lately, as many of her GAF movies are centered around faith. She also consistently talks about the role faith plays in her personal and professional lives. So, I can see why this particular moment impacted her so much.

Carrie Underwood’s first season as judge on American Idol continues to be a highlight of the 2025 TV schedule. As one of the most famous American Idol contestants, winning Season 4 in 2005, she’s returned to her old stomping grounds 20 years later to help find the next Idol winner. Since the episodes currently airing are still pre-taped, with live shows yet to come, Underwood has been watching every week, and she shared a solid routine to get through it that earned a stamp of approval from Candace Cameron Bure.

It's not always easy for a performer to watch themselves or hear themselves, but Underwood takes it in stride. The Grammy winner took to Instagram to share how she prepares herself to watch new episodes of American Idol with a fresh boule and glass of vino, and it’s certainly the perfect way:

Whether this is a weekly routine for Underwood or done just for this week’s episode is unknown, but it’s certainly a good idea for anyone who has to watch themselves. Or simply celebrating another great singer. Many fans took to the comments but not to share their thoughts on Underwood’s routine. Plenty shared how much they loved her natural look, and Bure couldn’t help but share her praise, too:

I certainly did not expect Bure to comment, but now it’s like they’re a duo I never knew I needed. Plus, if anyone knows what it’s like to watch themselves on TV, it would be her. She’s been watching Full House for the first time in ages, and she recently realized why the show hasn’t been off the air in 35 years. It also wouldn’t be surprising if their paths have crossed once or twice, considering how long they both have been in the industry.

Even though Bure has been on The Masked Singer, she probably won’t be going to American Idol any time soon to serve as a guest judge, so for now, fans will probably have to settle with social media interactions between Bure and Underwood. But it would be fun to see those two together. Perhaps Underwood can join Bure in a movie on GAF, since the latter is proving to be quite the staple on the network since leaving Hallmark Channel.

Meanwhile, it was announced in July that Carrie Underwood would be replacing Katy Perry as judge since Perry wanted to step back to focus on her music. It’s been a nostalgia-filled trip, especially for those who watched Underwood on Idol back in the day. Seeing her glow-up now is certainly incredible, but she still keeps a memento from her auditions, which is nice since she’s blown up since those days.

Following Dave Coulier’s cancer diagnosis, the Full House actor has been putting up quite the fight, and he’s been able to do so alongside much support from his family and former co-stars, many of whom are certainly still like family. Among those showing support is Candace Cameron Bure, who previously opened up about the diagnosis and how “devastating” it was when Coulier called and told her. Months later, Bure is now celebrating the fact that Coulier is officially cancer-free, and the two had a wholesome exchange that also included a “poopoo” nickname.

Bure took to Instagram on Monday to cheer on the news that Coulier is now cancer-free after being previously diagnosed with Stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma in October. The GAF actress and producer shared some sweet photos of herself and Coulier from over the years, including from their Full House days, and totally kept it clean.

Of course, the comments were filled with a lot of love. Coulier also went into the comments to express his love for Bure and called her a pretty interesting nickname, and now I’m dying to know where it came from:

It’s a very wholesome exchange, especially since it’s clear there’s some type of inside joke or something that includes the “poopoo” nickname. It also shows just how close they are as Bure just expressed her love for Coulier back and didn’t bat an eye. The fact that they have their own little nicknames for each other makes their relationship that much more special, even over 35 years after Full House first aired.

Bure, who honored late co-star Bob Saget on The Masked Singer, was one of many to show support for Coulier on social media when he made the cancer announcement. Meanwhile, John Stamos wore a bald cap for his longtime friend and after people complained about it just being a bald cap, Coulier came to his defense and shared that he “laughed out loud” when he saw Stamos in it. Stamos also gave a New Year’s shoutout to Coulier, which was sweet to see.

Coulier’s cancer battle had not been easy, but he’d been constantly giving fans updates on social media and showing them that he was still putting up a fight. He recently opened up about missing Saget and shared what he thought he would say about the diagnosis and how he would be there for him.

As a longtime Full House fan, I love nothing more than to see the cast interact with each other and reunite with one another. As well as keeping the memory of their late co-star alive. The Great American Family star agreed, to a point, saying she had such a fulfilling experience on DWTS, while her early elimination on the Fox series didn’t allow her to fully overcome that fear of singing in front of people.

Candace Cameron Bure isn’t the only one reflecting on her career choices this holiday. Former Hallmark star Danica McKellar said she’s grateful for Great American Media CEO Bill Abbott bringing her on and allowing her to have more of a say creatively in her movies and also to weave some of her faith into them.

A Cinderella Christmas Ball — Danica McKellar’s offering on the TV schedule — premieres at 8 p.m. ET Friday, November 29, while Candace Cameron Bure’s A Christmas Less Traveled premiered on November 16, and next she’s set to star with fellow Hallmark veteran Cameron Mathison in Home Sweet Christmas at 8 p.m. ET Sunday, December 1, on Great American Family.

Earlier this month, Dave Coulier was candid with the public, as he revealed his cancer diagnosis. The Full House alum is currently battling Stage 3 non-Hodgkins lymphoma and has begun treatment accordingly. Coulier has since received support from Candace Cameron Bure as well as other former co-stars Shortly after Coulier revealed the news, Bure shared a supportive message. Now, the actress is getting candid about her longtime friend’s health, including how “devastating” it was when she received the call.

It’s no secret that the cast and crew of Full and Fuller House have forged a family dynamic off camera. They’ve been through high moments, like marriages and child births. And, on the other hand, they’ve also seen each other through tough times, including co-star Bob Saget’s death in 2022. Considering their closeness, Candace Cameron Bure was apparently a bit shaken when she learned about the Joey Gladstone actor’s cancer diagnosis:

Dave Coulier has indeed been staying upbeat amid his health situation, and it sounds like the GAF actress is seeking to do the same. However, she also explained to Fox News that the news wasn’t all that easy to process in the beginning. The DJ Tanner actress initially had a hard time accepting what had come to pass. Later in her interview, she went on to reveal that moment that the reality of Coulier’s diagnosis really hit her:

While Candace Cameron Bure possessed those feelings, she’s now aiming to be proactive amid this situation. She and her co-stars have been finding ways to lend their support to their co-star and surrogate family member in various ways. John Stamos, for example, wore a bald cap as a way of standing in solidarity with Dave Coulier, who lost hair due to his treatments. While Stamos was criticized for his gesture, Coulier defended him. Bure also lauded her on-screen uncle and explained how she’s supporting the veteran comic:

For years now, Candace Cameron Bure has discussed her religious faith and how important it is to her. She’s talked about “going against the grain” while growing up in Hollywood as a Christian. Prayer isn’t the only way that she plans to help out her co-star either, as she explained that she also offered to help them in any other way that she can.

It’s absolutely unfortunate that Dave Coulier has to contend with such a medical situation, though it’s heartwarming to see his co-stars show up for him at this time. It’s a testament to the notion that the ties amongst the ensemble cast of one of the best TGIF comedies remain strong decades after the OG series ended. Let’s collectively wish Coulier, his wife, Melissa and those who are a part of their support system all the best.

The world continued to remain entrenched in wholesome Full House nostalgia vibes long after Netflix’s sequel series Fuller House wrapped up in 2020, thanks in part to the cast members staying in the spotlight. Former star Dave Coulier has kept fans intrigued by the all-time TGIF fave’s history by heading up the solo-hosted project Full House Rewind, but his latest update for fans sadly wasn’t so comedic, as the actor revealed he was diagnosed with cancer in October, specifically stage 3 non-Hodgkins lymphoma.

The message was definitely a shock to Coulier’s family, friends and followers, and in his interview with People, he shared that he’d actually revealed his somber diagnosis update with the bulk of the Full House clan via group message, saying:

It's completely understandable that Dave Coulier would immediately reach out to former co-stars after talking it out with his wife Melissa Coulier. He apparently shared the news with John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Lori Loughlin, and Scott Weinger, as well as the show's creator Jeff Franklin.

Candace Cameron Bure Shares Support For Dave Coulier

Obviously those who were in the personal chat chimed in with personal messages to Coulier himself, but some also took to social media to publicly share support for the comedian. Candace Cameron Bure took to Instagram Stories to share the following message over an interview clip of Coulier on Today. As she put it:

It's worth noting that Dave Coulier has reportedly been the most open to remaining friendly with Bure following the backlash the actress faced after making those "traditional marriage" comments regarding her then-new role behind the scenes at Great American Family. (Jodie Sweetin was also forgiving, but definitely defended the LGBTQ+ community all-around.)

John Stamos' Message For Dave Coulier

For many Full House fans, it's almost instinctual to thinking about John Stamos in the same breath as Dave Coulier, considering Joey and Jesse's friendship on the show carried over so strongly into the real world for the actors. So it likely would have been weirder if the current animated Iron Man voice actor hadn't posted anything specifically directed at Coulier's downer news.

Melissa Coulier shared her appreciation for Stamos in the comments of his post, with other supportive messages and replies coming from Everybody Loves Raymond vet Brad Garrett, the Full House Rewind podcast page and more.

Dave Coulier's diagnosis reveal comes a little less than three years after Bob Saget suddenly died in his hotel room after hitting his head in a fall. And fans like me are definitely hoping that the Out of Control vet will make it through treatments as happily and healthily as possible.

As an additional tidbit for Full House fans that isn’t quite so downbeat: Dave Coulier revealed in the latest episode of Full House Rewind that he now has a new co-host in the form of fellow sitcom vet Marla Sokoloff, who famously portrayed Gia Mahan on both the mothership series and its follow-up.

One of the big celebrity trends has been the ice bath/cold plunge over the last few years. Celebs like sci-fi star Katee Sackhoff have tried outdoor tubs and indoor tubs to chill out – figuratively, but also literally. The plunge is actually supposed to help release stress and tension in the body and improve circulation. Candace Cameron Bure is the latest celebrity to give the chilly pastime a whirl, and she’s giving black bikini summer energy. Or at least, end of black bikini summer energy.

It rained at my place yesterday and knocked some leaves that were already starting to slightly change color out of the trees. The sky is grey and dismal and flowering plants are starting to lose their blooms. Really, over the past few days it’s been the first time I’ve felt that fall tinge in the air, as well. So I suppose it’s fitting Bure is saying goodbye to summer with a cold plunge. Here’s her timidly getting in.

Honestly, she’s in side profile, but you can kind of see her gasping as she steps into the water. She also mentioned it's 48 degrees. I like my pool water to feel like bath water, so I can’t even imagine what this sort of experience would be like. Actually, I sort of can, because there's a second look at Bure more fully submerging herself and pushing out air as she tries to keep warm. She's hugging her hands to her chest in a way that really explains how cold the whole thing must be.

Black bikini summer has been a thing celebrities have partaken in for a while now. The Kardashian sisters have rocked the look, as has frequent bikini wearer Sydney Sweeney. Emily Ratajkowski has her own bikini line and her own take on the look. But this is the first time I’ve seen someone like Bure take the black bikini look an entire step further and turn it into a whole experience. Honestly, after watching the footage, I think she’s a total champ. It’s certainly one heck of a way to bid summer goodbye and prepare for fall.

Bure is not the first celebrity to take an ice bath or cold plunge. (In fact, Hugh Jackman's even shown off his penchant for taking a "polar plunge" in the actual ocean.) But I appreciate she shared the experience, even though it looked like she had to tough it out rather than enjoy it. Hopefully, though, all the benefits that ice baths and cold plunges tout really came through for her. Otherwise, I guess it's always something she can say she did once.
