What Is Jackass 5 Actually About? Steve-O Says 'Finding A Home For Such F---ed-Up S---'

For over a quarter-century on Jackass, Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O and a band of merry mischief-makers have been hurting and humiliating each other, all in the name of comedy. After several movies and TV show spinoffs, the stunts are coming to an end with Jackass: Best and Last. The 2026 movie release is part victory lap, part greatest hits compilation, but Steve-O has his own unique way of describing the last chapter.

Every Jackass movie seemed to bring about questions of just how long the franchise could sustain itself — and how much punishment the participants’ bodies could take. We now have our answer, with Steve-O confirming Jackass: Best and Last is “one-hundred percent” the last one. In addition to some new stunts, the new movie features never-before-aired footage that couldn’t be shown in previous offerings. Steve-O told People:

I genuinely don't know why it's allowed now, but it's in here. That's what this movie is: finding a home for such fucked-up shit that never had a home, and one last hurrah of all of us getting together and doing whatever we have in us to do.

There is something strangely beautiful in Steve-O’s description of their final Jackass outing being a place where all of the wayward clips found a home. In fact, critics noted how “poignant” Best and Last is, as well, celebrating 26 years of friendship in the best way they know how — with more Jackass nudity, pain, pranks and lots and lots of laughter.

Steve-O, Johnny Knoxville, Wee Man and Chris Pontius are all in their 50s now, and after so many years of putting their bodies through the kind of “f---ed-up sh-t” that Jackass requires, this does seem like an appropriate finish line.

Steve-O even said when confirming that there will be no more after Best and Last that “you can't really do Jackass” after the bull injury that Johnny Knoxville (who refuses to go by his “venereal disease” real name) suffered in 2020 while filming Jackass Forever.

Johnny Knoxville was gored by a bull (twice) while filming the franchise’s fourth movie, resulting in injuries that included broken ribs, a concussion and brain hemorrhage. He’d already suffered 16 concussions from previous exploits, and he took months to recover — both physically and mentally — from the bull incident.

As such, it’s no surprise that the actor wasn’t able to participate in any big, new stunts for Jackass: Best and Last, because he couldn’t risk getting hit in the head again.

That doesn’t mean the new movie plays it safe, by any means. Steve-O and the others still take their hits, and thanks to the inclusion of some classic clips, audiences even get to see Bam Margera, who was fired from the franchise during Jackass Forever filming, and Ryan Dunn, who died in a car crash in 2011.

Jackass: Best and Last is resonating with critics, as they praise what looks like the definitive end of their legacy as amateur stuntmen and pranksters. The movie gets into the early days of the franchise, so I guess it's only fitting that host Johnny Knoxville explained why he uses his current name rather than his given one.

Knoxville spoke about his original name on the red carpet, which was then shared on Instagram. The actor didn't mince words when it came to avoiding his actual name, as he said there's no escaping the fact that it's a nickname for a known venereal disease:

Well, it's better than PJ Clapp. When your last name is a venereal disease, you try to pivot.

Yes, it seems that Knoxville was more than willing to go by a different name publicly so as not to encourage comparisons to the STI, gonorrhea. Honestly, I don't think it would necessarily be off-brand if he had stuck with PJ Clapp and done Jackass, since the group has engaged in some wildly gross stunts before.

Toy Story 5 Lassos Another Big Box Office Win, But Just How Bad Was Supergirl’s Debut?

Movie lovers came out to play this weekend, but unfortunately for the new releases — Supergirl and Jackass: Best and Last — it was the toys everybody was talking about. Toy Story 5 reigned supreme at the box office again, falling just 56% from its record-breaking opening to rope in another $70 million domestically. Supergirl, meanwhile, hit the 2026 movie release calendar to the tune of $38 million in the U.S. and Canada, but is there hope for the DCU’s sophomore feature?

I’ll break that down, as well as what happened to the final Jackass movie, which along with Disclosure Day, fell below — surprise, surprise — Obsession, which maintained its No. 3 spot this weekend after 45 days in theaters.

First, however, let's take a look at the Top 10 chart. (Any * denotes a new release.)

Supergirl’s Opening Falls Below Expectations

There was reason for concern going into this weekend for Supergirl, with Milly Alcock even admitting a flop was one of her biggest fears just days ahead of its release. Projections started to look comparable to The Marvels, and that’s not a good thing. The 2023 MCU film debuted to $47 million, which was the lowest opener for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date. Supergirl didn’t even reach that, drawing $38 million (though on an admittedly smaller budget).

Domestic expectations for the Milly Alcock flick ranged from $39 million up to $55 million, which even if it had landed on the higher end would have been a tepid start for a summer tentpole. Supergirl didn’t get much help overseas, either, earning just $30 million more, per The Numbers, for a global total of $68 million. With a reported budget of around $175 million, it will need to gross between $315 million and $375 million to break even.

How did Supergirl's debut compare to last year's Superman?

2025's Superman starring David Corenswet earned $125 million domestically over its three-day opening weekend and went on to earn $618 million worldwide by the end of its theatrical run. Milly Alcock's Supergirl brought in $38 million from Friday to Sunday.

How Critics Rated This Week’s New Releases

Reviews for Supergirl didn’t exactly help to hype the movie up, though they weren’t all as bad as one critic’s viral thrashing. Sometimes a good Rotten Tomatoes’ audience rating or high CinemaScore grade can indicate that word-of-mouth advertising will lead to longer legs in the box office. Take a look at how this week’s new releases were graded:

Moviegoers were slightly kinder to Supergirl than the critics. It will be interesting to see what the slow start means for upcoming DCU movies, especially those based on lesser-known characters like Clayface, which stars Tom Rhys Harries and hits the big screen in October.

Meanwhile, critics and audiences alike seemed to approve of Jackass: Best and Last. However, reviews of the Jackass swan song didn’t help it much with ticket sales.

Jackass: Last And Best Sees Franchise-Worst Opening

The final chapter of the quarter-century-old stunt show was both the highest-rated on Rotten Tomatoes and lowest-earning of the franchise. Jackass: Best and Last’s 88% on RT is slightly higher than Jackass Forever’s 86%, but the box office debut numbers tell a much sadder story. In order of best to worst opening weekends are:

Jackass 3D (2010): $50.4 million
Jackass: Number Two (2006): $29 million
Jackass Forever (2022): $23.2 million
Jackass: The Movie (2002): $22.8 million
Jackass: Best and Last (2026): $8.4 million

Jackass: Best and Last does feature new stunts, but those are mixed in with plenty of old clips. Also, Johnny Knoxville’s past concussions and brain injuries — namely his “catastrophic” run-in with a bull — require that he not be hit in the head anymore, meaning that he wasn’t able to partake in the more extreme events of the latest film.

I’m not sure if those factors played into low turnout in theaters, but with the movie seeing such high praise, maybe there’s hope for future weeks. Either way, the movie only cost a reported $10 million to make, so this isn’t in any way a disaster.

BLEACH Anime Event Nabs A Top 10 Spot

Anime fans have a reason to celebrate this week’s box office, as their combined forces put BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War — The Calamity into the Top 10. Fathom released the first three episodes of the series’ final season in theaters before they hit streaming, where the compliation earned $1 million on opening night Thursday and an additional $1.95 million Friday through Sunday.

The special release was a limited four-day event (June 25-29) that included behind-the-scenes content and an exclusive interview with creator Tite Kubo. BLEACH is a series that’s perfect for first-time anime watchers and can be streamed with a Hulu subscription.

Will Minions & Monsters Mean Trouble For Toy Story 5?

Speaking of disasters, those chaos-causing yellow blobs are returning to the big screen with Minions & Monsters being released Wednesday, July 1. The midweek debut corresponds with the opening of the new Universal Kids Resort theme park in Texas (which my pre-teen loved, despite the park being geared toward younger kiddos).

I'm not sure there's anything that could stop a Despicable Me spinoff from doing gangbusters at the box office, but it certainly won't hurt that reviews for Minions & Monsters are calling it the best of the whole franchise. How do you like them bananas?

According to Coming Soon, the new Illumination animated offering is projected to bring in between $75 million and $85 million next Friday through Saturday — and up to $115 million over the five-day holiday weekend. That’s more than enough to knock Toy Story 5 from the top spot, and with what I’d imagine is a pretty big overlap in audience, I'm curious as to just how far Buzz, Jessie, Woody and the gang will fall.

Bam’s Parents Get Real About Jackass Stunts: ‘Thank You For Crashing A Lot Of Stuff I Cared About’

It's the end of a nearly 30-year legacy with Jackass: Best and Last landing on the 2026 movie calendar this weekend. On that note, there are plenty of ways to thank the Jackass crew for years of some of the funniest and nude-heavy stunts imaginable. But April Margera may have found the most fitting one: thanking them for destroying her house. That sounds ridiculous anywhere else but, when it comes to this wild franchise, it is practically a family toast.

Bam Margera’s parents, April and Phil Margera, shared a sweet and very funny message to the crew in a video posted by the official Jackass Instagram account. It's fitting this comes amid the release of Jackass: Best and Last, which has been framed as the franchise's farewell ride. You can see the video below:

The former reality TV regulars were never just relatives hovering at the edge of the frame. Thanks to MTV staples Jackass and Viva La Bam, not to mention the larger CKY orbit, the Margera household became one of the franchise’s most recognizable locations. It was a home, sure, but it was also a staging ground for chaos. If something could be broken, startled, sprayed, crashed into or otherwise turned into a problem for “Ape” and Phil, there was a decent chance it happened there.

That is what made Bam Margera’s mother’s thanks so perfect. She shared a funny yet heartwarming message, saying:

Thank you for ruining my house. Thank you for coming in and crashing a lot of stuff I cared about. And, thanks for being friends and always including us.

Needless to say, most parents would not look back on people wrecking their belongings and land on gratitude. April, somehow, can. That is part of why fans have always loved her. She was often exhaustedly furious with her son's antics, and usually justified in that reaction, but she also brought warmth to the madness.

Phil’s message was more straightforward, but no less heartfelt. He said:

Hi, Jackass crew. You guys are awesome. All the actors, all the filmmakers, all the producers, you guys are fantastic, and I see that everybody truly loves each other, including Bam. He loves all you guys!

That last part hits a little differently, given how complicated Bam’s history with Jackass has become over the years. The former stunt performer has said in the past that he is done with the franchise, and he did not film anything new for the fifth and final movie. As public and painful as the rift between former castmates has been, it is great to hear his dad share some love. All in all, Phil’s comment keeps the focus on what always seemed to sit underneath the stunts: real affection.

The franchise worked because viewers could tell these guys were not just coworkers chasing a bit. They were friends, brothers, collaborators, lunatics and occasional human bowling pins. The fan-favorite mom then added one more thought:

And we are honored to be part of it. I know you said this is the last, and I never know. I keep always looking over my shoulder.

That is the most Jackass possible way to describe closure. Even when everyone says it is over, April Margera still sounds like a woman who knows better than to relax fully. Somewhere, in some corner of her mind, a prank is still waiting.

It feels like the unofficial Jackass house parents are speaking from the exact place fans remember them from. While they were dragged into the circus because their son was part of it, I'd like to think that over time, they became an emotional anchor of that circus. And, judging by their message, they also gained a second family and, for Jackass, that feels about right.

Why Johnny Knoxville Turned Down SNL’s Offer To Be A Cast Member

Jackass was famously the subject of a bidding war before the show even aired a single episode. MTV, Comedy Central and FX all liked the pitch enough to make offers, and at one point, Saturday Night Live even got involved. Star Johnny Knoxville and his producing partners Spike Jonze and Jeff Tremaine of course went with MTV, but that hasn’t stopped fans from playing the what-if game for the last quarter century, especially about SNL.

Well, it turns out the sketch comedy offer was a little different than at least I had realized. Ahead of Jackass: Best And Last, an old Howard Stern interview with Knoxville has gone viral in which the subject of Saturday Night Live came up. The actor said he met with showrunner Lorne Michaels, who offered him three to five minutes of airtime each episode, but he ultimately turned it down because apparently it wasn’t for Jackass. It was for him and wouldn’t have included the rest of the crew.

At that point, we were making the pilot for Jackass, and it was me and all my friends and Spike Jonze and Jeff Tremaine, and I would have to leave that to do Saturday Night Live… So, at the time, in my ignorance, I, once again, I’m like, ‘I’m just gonna bet on us.’

For some reason in my mind, I envisioned a weekly stunt or prank that involved Knoxville and the other guys, but this makes a lot more sense given how SNL casts work. It apparently would have just been the lead actor himself doing some bit of craziness.

I’m sure that would have been funny and blown the minds of network TV audiences who would have been shocked, but that wouldn’t have been Jackass as we know it. That would have just been Knoxville doing his thing. I wonder if he would have gotten the chance to appear in other sketches like a traditional cast member too. He’s hosted the show before so we know he would have been able to pull it off.

This might sound out of left field for Saturday Night Live. In some ways, it obviously is a big departure from the heart of the show, but it’s not quite as crazy as it might seem. There’s definitely an established pattern of SNL partnering with comedians to do something other than traditional sketch comedy.

When the show first premiered, it included a more adult version of The Muppets that Jim Henson created. There have also been plenty of filmmaking duos who have made weekly shorts for the show that are pre-taped with The Lonely Island probably being the most prominent example.

I’m sure SNL would have loved to get in on the Jackass phenomenon, but we should all be happy that it worked out the way it did. Arguably the best part of the entire franchise is the chemistry and love between the leads. Everyone laughing at each other helps the audience feel okay with laughing, and the show and subsequent movies also benefited from having a high number of sketches in order to play to different comedic tastes. Some people want to see Knoxville attach bottle rockets to roller skates. Some people want to see Steve-O get stung by bees, and some people want to see Pontius dance for random people. It’s an eclectic vibe.

You can catch the main Jackass guys one final time in Jackass: Best And Last, which hits theaters this weekend. The film is a mix of older footage, unaired stunts and new bits the team shot, alongside some of the newer cast members that appeared in Jackass Forever. It's getting very strong reviews.

Johnny Knoxville Would Like To Clarify One Huge Misconception About Jackass

It will be the end of an era when Jackass: Best and Last hits the 2026 movie schedule this weekend, as Johnny Knoxville’s franchise comes to a close after more than a quarter-century of dangerous, vomit-inducing and nudity-heavy stunts. An entire generation has grown up watching Steve-O, Wee Man and more risk their lives for a laugh, but there’s one misconception that Knoxville would like to clear up.

Jackass: Best and Last is getting surprisingly positive feedback from critics, as the final movie in the series combines classic clips, never-before-seen footage and new stunts. It’s a greatest hits collection that shows how, for 26 years, these guys have put their bodies through things that no sober, clear-thinking person would … right? Apparently, that’s not the case, and while Johnny Knoxville admits there’s been a lot of partying over the years, it didn’t happen while they filmed. He told Esquire:

We were going hard, you know, early on. And there was a lot of drugs and alcohol. But if someone was doing a stunt, they can’t be inebriated. They have to be clear. Yeah, because it’s dangerous enough, what you’re doing, and if you go in and you’re fucked up, you’re really asking for it.

Johnny Knoxville knows all too well how dangerous what they do is — pointing out that Jackass stunts, unlike Tom Cruise’s in Mission: Impossible, are set up to fail. As a result, Knoxville suffered 16 concussions even before the catastrophic bull injury that left him with brain damage. In fact, that prevented him from performing any extreme stunts in the new movie, because he can’t risk getting hit in the head again. Drugs and alcohol definitely have no place in a situation that’s already that dangerous.

They may not have been imbibing or using when they did the stunts, but the Jackass crew has seen its share of substance abuse issues. Steve-O has credited Johnny Knoxville with helping him get sober in 2008, with Knoxville calling him “extremely brave” for making that choice every day — strong words, given what they do for a living.

Substance abuse is also reportedly the reason behind Johnny Knoxville and Bam Margera’s falling out. The latter was fired from Jackass Forever, reportedly due to his alcoholism, which led Margera to file a lawsuit against Knoxville, Paramount and others.

Some truly scary times followed, in which Bam Margera was in and out of rehab, and he’d post alarming social media messages and then go missing. Now, however, Margera seems to be in a much better place, as his parents recently offered a positive update on his sobriety journey.

It’s actually a relief to know that Johnny Knoxville and the rest apparently had strict rules against being drunk or high when doing stunts, because at least if they’re going to be putting themselves in such ridiculous and dangerous situations, they’re doing it with a clear mind.

We may not see any new extreme stunts from Bam Margera or Johnny Knoxville in Jackass: Best and Last, but thanks to the “greatest hits” nature of the movie, we’ll still see them in some gems from the past — including behind-the-scenes footage of the bull incident that sidelined Knoxville.

Jackass: Best And Last Reviews Are Here, And Critics Keep Using One Word I'd Never Expect

The Jackass franchise has been around for over a quarter of a century, which is unimaginable when you think of all the punishment that Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius and the rest of their gang have inflicted on themselves. Either way, one final round is hitting the 2026 movie calendar in Jackass: Best and Last, bringing more nudity and stunts to the big screen. It sounds like there’s something more, though, because reviews are out and critics are describing the fifth and final movie in a way I’d never have expected.

“Poignant” is not a term I’d associate with the Jackass franchise, but with its stars now in their 50s, there’s a higher price to pay for some of the stunts they’ve pulled, and Jackass: Best and Last seems to know it, according to the critics. Johnny Knoxville, for instance, can’t get hit in the head anymore after the “catastrophic” bull injury we witnessed in the last movie. David Ehrlich of IndieWire gives the swan song a B, writing that this greatest hits album sprinkled with new stunts “cements the franchise as a vital piece of American history.” He says:

All the Jackass movies are documentaries in a sense, but this is the only entry structured like one, complete with Knoxville and his accomplices being interviewed on camera as they genuflect before the origins of the franchise and tee up rare — sometimes previously unseen — footage of their greatest hits. What the boys fail, or don’t even try, to provide in insight or commentary, they make up for by shaking their heads and laughing at each other; there’s something extremely poignant and inspiring about a bunch of middle-aged men who can look back at the dumbest moments of their lives without the slightest hint of regret.

Todd Gilchrist of The Wrap poetically writes that, “Of all of the things to be tugged at in Jackass: Best and Last, the one that fans may least expect is their heartstrings." The movie combines new stunts with classic favorites, and even Johnny Knoxville gets choked up at the emotion of ending this chapter. Gilchrist’s review of Jackass: Best and Last reads:

Leave it to these mischief makers to deliver a final chapter that serves as a requiem, a victory lap and an envelope-pusher all at once. By any measure, Jackass: Best and Last delivers the most joyful and beautifully bittersweet entertainment of the summer, reminding longtime fans and lucky newcomers of the sublime pleasures of horseplay. … Knoxville, Tremaine and their accomplices amply demonstrate with this latest batch of brutality how tough aging can be when your job is risking your life. What elevates this film after four others, 26 years and enough injuries to occupy a fleet of ambulances, is the way they’re able to put an unexpectedly poignant spotlight on the key to their — and the series’ — enduring appeal: by never getting any wiser.

Guy Lodge of Variety says while this final outing is “oddly poignant,” it would be a mistake to expect anything too sentimental from this group. Jackass 5 relives lots of the franchise’s best moments of humiliation and pain, with new bits that the critic says can almost stand side-by-side with the classics. In Lodge’s words:

There’s poignancy here in seeing the guys’ middle-aged bodies marked by the wear and tear of their peculiar chosen profession, alongside various fading joke tattoos that seemed funnier a quarter-century ago, as they take yet another voluntary beating. Admittedly, ‘poignancy’ is not a word you’d have ever applied to this franchise in its earlier days. Either they’ve grown, or we have.

Hannah Strong of Little White Lies writes that she enjoyed the new footage of Johnny Knoxville’s bull stunt and other behind-the-scenes footage, because it gives insight into how far the gang was willing to go for the show. The interviews, as well, highlight how important the friendships are to ensure Jackass remains funnier than mean. More of that would have been welcome, but Strong has no real complaints about this final outing:

One of the most impressive stunts culminates in the gang gazing down in shock at the decimated remains of dummies made to look like them in a darkly comedic meta moment, as if reminding us that it’s a miracle these films didn’t kill all of them. Yet the most poignant moment comes in the final credits — a compilation of footage which hammers home how much time has passed... What was once written off as sanctioned buffoonery and derided for its emphasis on bodily fluids has come to symbolise the importance of lasting friendships and empathy in an increasingly fraught world. It might not be the most raucous or ridiculous send off, but Best and Last feels like the finale that Jackass deserves.

The use of archival footage allows Bam Margera to be included in Jackass: Best and Last, as well as Ryan Dunn, who died in a car crash in 2011. I certainly didn’t expect the end of Jackass to be described as emotional — or “poignant” — especially after seeing in the previews what new stunts await.

The Jackass Spinoffs Are All Over Paramount+, But We're Missing The Best One

Jackass: Best And Last is coming up on the 2026 movie schedule, and to celebrate that, Paramount+ dropped a remastered version of the original series, complete with episodes the way they aired on television. It's a nice gesture and a great way to get people hype for the final Jackass movie, but it's just got me nostalgic for Viva La Bam.

As such, I fired up my Paramount+ subscription, only to learn that Viva La Bam is not on the streaming platform. I was pretty upset, as I was hoping to "shake things up a bit" (much like Bam does on the show), and would argue it's more vital to Paramount+ than the actual Jackass series. Allow me to explain.

I Watched Much More Viva La Bam In My Youth Than Jackass

Jackass is the show from that MTV era that gets remembered, but I think that's largely because of the movies and its continued relevance over the decades. In reality, there were only 25 episodes of the series made over the course of three seasons, so it was far from something that was prolific or super-rewatchable.

MTV, of course, gave us other opportunities to see the Jackass crew. One option was Wildboyz, a Jackass/nature show hosted by Steve-O and Chris Pontius, and there was also Viva La Bam. With forty episodes, other young teens and I tuned in weekly to see Bam Margera act like an absolute jerk to his family.

In the end, it was very Jackass-coded, but there was more of a story to it that mimics more modern reality television shows before it was as commonplace. Of course, in hindsight I have to imagine this family was obviously in on some of the antics, because how else would they tolerate their rich brat son laying waste to their home on a daily basis?

At the time, however, I was young and more gullible. Bam lived the fantasy life that sounded amazing for any teen who hoped to find a similar path to the success the Jackass crew had. Plus, it was funny to watch him beat up his dad while he was on the toilet, and send his uncle, Don Vito, into a swearing fit.

Why Paramount+ May Hesitate To Add Viva La Bam

It's worth noting that Viva La Bam is one of many classic MTV shows that aren't on Paramount+. While we don't have a specific reason for why these shows are missing, The New York Times reported that many shows that used licensed music back in the day used short-term licensing deals, which were cheaper than buying the rights to a song indefinitely. As such, many of these songs are no longer able to be in the episodes of these shows, and MTV jam-packed its shows with licensed music. It's possible bringing Viva La Bam to streaming in its current state would require a big payout to various rights holders of songs, and the streamer isn't sure it's worth the cost.

Bam Margera Didn't Film Anything For Jackass: Best And Last, But That Doesn't Mean We Won't See Him

It’s come to this: A Jackass clip show. And with the first trailer drop for Jackass: Best and Last, we’ve gotten a good idea just what this blend of old and new means for what will (supposedly) be the final Jackass movie, which will hit the 2026 movie schedule on June 26th. It also means we’re going to see all of the key members of the Jackass crew, like Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, and Chris Pontius, plus the late Ryan Dunn and the exiled Bam Margera.

Bam Didn’t Film Anything

Jackass: Best and Last is the first movie that Margera didn’t actually film anything for. He didn’t do much in the last movie, Jackass Forever, as his personal issues led to his firing from the production pretty early on. That estrangement has continued, often very publicly, for four years since the last movie was released, and he was never part of the new footage filmed here. That doesn’t mean he won’t be in the new movie.

That’s because the new movie, as I mentioned, is a blend of new stunts, greatest hits, and never-before-seen outtakes of past Jackass productions. This includes, it appears, all the previous movies and even the original MTV show. Margera was a huge part of the first three Jackass movies (available to watch with a Paramount+ subscription) and, of course, the original show. That means we could be seeing quite a bit of Margera in this newest one.

What Is The State Of Margera’s Friendship With Johnny Knoxville?

There has been a lot of bad blood between Margera and Johnny Knoxville, though, to be fair, it has mostly come from Margera. The former skater has been pretty open both about his struggles with substance abuse and how he feels about Knoxville and Jackass director Jeff Tremaine. Knoxville was asked about the state of the relationship in February in an interview with Rolling Stone, and Knoxville replied:

I hear he’s doing a lot better, and that makes me happy, because we’ve been through so much together and I love him. I’m happy he’s doing well.

However, the feeling doesn’t seem mutual. While Margera has said he supports the use of old footage, his feelings towards the powers that be at Jackass are still as sharp as barbed wire. In January, shortly after it was announced that he would indeed appear in the old footage, Margera told TMZ:

For Tremaine and Knoxville to sit me down after everything I've been through… I was very angry. Now I'm not angry, but I'm just hurt. My feelings [toward] them are still ‘fuck you.’

This is a dispute where sides have been taken, both with the members of Jackass and with the fans, but for me, as a fan, I’m just glad I’ll get to see some moments from a time when the whole crew was getting along and creating some of the funniest moments of the early 21st century.

I Did Not See A Fart Joke From Wee-Man Coming After The Final Jackass Ended With A Big Explosion

I’m super excited that Jackass 5 is on the way, but I can’t help feeling a bit bummed about it, too. Once it drops on the 2026 movie schedule, it’ll be the last time we see a Jackass movie in theaters. On the final day of filming, the crew went all out, celebrating with a huge explosion. What caught me off guard, though I probably should’ve seen it coming, was a classic fart joke from Wee-Man, whose real name is Jason Acuña, as they wrapped things up.

Johnny Knoxville posted a video on Instagram showing a giant cloud of smoke rising over the Simi Valley mountains. Everyone thought it was a plane crash at first, but nope, it was just a controlled explosion put together by special effects supervisor Elia Popov for the final shoot. And in true Wee-Man fashion, unable to let the potential of a good fart joke waft by once it presented itself, he jumped into the comments to say:

Haha I farted!!!!

For a franchise that built its reputation on pushing things to the edge, deciding to end with a literal bang feels exactly right. Knoxville summed it up in the caption, noting that the cast stood near the blast, watched it unfold, and then immediately went to celebrate with the crew who pulled it off. After 26 years, that was it. Cameras down and the end of an era.

Before any of us have a chance to get too weepy-eyed, Wee-Man provided the most on-brand moment, and brings it all back full circle in a very poetic way. You’ve got this massive, cinematic explosion. A crew reflecting on 26 years of history, with a sendoff that could’ve easily leaned into nostalgia and sentimentality, but Acuña cuts through all of it with a simple fart joke. Hey, flatulence is funny. What can we say?

For all the broken bones, brain-busting concussions that end in documented brain damage, and stomach-churning stunts, the heart of the series has always been something way simpler: friends just goofing around and daring each other to do silly stuff. They’re laughing at things that no one in the cast members' ages should really find funny, but come on, they’re human like the rest of us, and it truly cracks us up. If you don’t remember, when the first Jackass episode dropped way back in 2000 on MTV, one of the first bits was Knoxville getting knocked over in a porta-potty. Sure, the production has gotten bigger and flashier over the years, but that core vibe hasn’t really changed. If this really is the last movie, it totally makes sense that it wraps up pretty much how it all started—with potty humor.

Beyond its June 26, 2026, release date and the fact that it’s meant to close the book on the franchise, we don’t have a ton of info about Jackass: Best and Last, the title Johnny Knoxville revealed at this year’s CinemaCon. But based on a sneak peek behind the scenes, it looks like they’re not planning to change things up, which is great news for fans like me.

Johnny Knoxville Says Jackass 5 Co-Star Injured Their Finger Trying To Retrieve A Coin From Someone’s Butt (And I Have So Many Questions)

Look, I’m beyond excited that Jackass 5 is on the way but ever since it landed a spot on the 2026 movie schedule, I’ve had a few questions. Now, thanks to one truly asinine (and yes, pun absolutely intended) injury involving one cast member, I somehow have even more queries. And, if you're wondering why, it's because said co-star hurt their finger while trying to retrieve a coin from someone else’s butt. (Yes, you read that right.)

During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Johnny Knoxville casually dropped what might be one of the most bizarre injury stories tied to the franchise yet. And, considering the history here of the franchise's most stomach-turning moments, that’s really saying something. Knoxville revealed that longtime Jackass cast member Dave England suffered a pretty serious injury while filming a pretty un-serious stunt:

I just got word today about an injury. I'm sorry to report Dave England… ripped the tendon off the bone of his middle finger — and it coiled at the base — by sticking it up Zach [Holmes'] butt. Can you say that on your show? He was trying to retrieve a coin and it was way up in there. And I'm not even joking, he has to have surgery.

Okay, first question: What was the coin doing in said butt? Second question: Why was Dave England fishing it out with his fingers? Third question: How? Just. How?

What makes the whole thing even more surreal is that Knoxville himself seemed genuinely baffled by how the injury even happened. (Honestly, same here.) But, when Fallon asked him how something like that could even occur, the Old Grandpa performer had the perfect response:

No, because there's so many soft corners! It's like… I don't know how he did it.

Jackass has always thrived on chaos, pain, and increasingly ridiculous setups, but there’s usually some kind of logic to how things go wrong. Here, even the guy who helped build the franchise is struggling to explain it.

At this point, injuries are practically part of the package. From broken bones to concussions and even brain injuries thanks to bulls, the franchise has built its reputation on pushing limits and dealing with the consequences. Still, even by those standards, this latest story feels especially unhinged.

Dave England may not be the first name people think of when they think Jackass, but he’s been there since the beginning, often taking on some of the messier, or shall we say “browner,” more extreme bits. He famously used a hardware store display toilet exactly as intended in the first movie, and then there’s the unforgettable “Poo-Cano.” What starts as a peaceful shot of a model train set quickly turns into something else entirely, as a mountain is revealed to be England mid-stunt, ending in a chaotic (and very on-brand) explosion of feces that’s as foul as it is weirdly memorable.

Still, digging around in someone’s backside to retrieve a coin feels extreme even by Jackass stunt standards, but ending in a torn ligament? That’s a whole other level. Which brings me to one final question: how in the world does Zach Holmes’ rear end have that kind of grip strength? Actually, never mind. I don’t need that answer.

If nothing else, this latest incident is a pretty clear reminder of what fans can expect from Jackass 5. The franchise isn’t slowing down. If anything, it sounds like they’re still finding new ways to outdo themselves. The crew is doing exactly what they’ve always done—pushing boundaries, making each other laugh, and occasionally ending up in the hospital along the way.

‘It Was Catastrophic’: Johnny Knoxville Doesn’t Hold Back About Experiencing Delusions After Bull Injury

For more than two decades, Johnny Knoxville has built a career on absorbing hits most people would run from and performing stunts that make audiences instinctively cover their eyes. Broken bones, concussions and bulls with what feels like a personal vendetta have all been part of the job description. But, as the upcoming Jackass 5 speeds towards its release on the 2026 movie schedule this summer, Knoxville (the franchise's co-creator) is reflecting on one injury that went far beyond physical pain, and his account of the aftermath is genuinely sobering.

Knoxville recently looked back on the brutal bull stunt that left him with a severe concussion and a recovery that stretched on for months. While fans witnessed the chaotic impact on screen in Jackass Forever, what happened behind the scenes was far more unsettling. Explaining just how long it took to bounce back, he said:

Yeah. That took five or six months to recover.

Five or six months is already a staggering timeline for someone who has built his brand on bouncing back quickly. But, according to the Fear Factor: House of Fear host, the real damage wasn’t just physical. During his candid interview with Rolling Stone, Knoxville also spoke about experiencing delusions:

It was catastrophic thinking, ruminating, the whole world was closing in. I have a lot of sympathy for myself then, because your brain’s feeding you terrible information. My mind just turned against me over five or six months. People would tell me, ‘Your brain is playing tricks on you.’ I’m like, ‘No, no, it’s happening.’ But nothing is happening. My mind just fell off a cliff.

That description, “my mind just fell off a cliff,” hits differently coming from someone so synonymous with chaos and fearlessness. Knoxville has always been candid about his 16 concussions over the years, meaning he can’t be hit in the head anymore, marking this particular episode as a breaking point.

Also, the Dukes of Hazzard alum made it clear that the toll wasn’t isolated to him alone. When asked how it affected his family, he admitted the recovery was “hard on anyone around me.” For a man who has built a persona around absorbing punishment, that acknowledgment feels especially vulnerable.

Knoxville explained that during those months, even reassurance didn’t penetrate the fog. Friends and loved ones would insist that his brain was playing tricks on him but, from his perspective, the fear felt completely real. The inability to trust your own thoughts is one of the most unsettling aspects of traumatic brain injury. Thankfully, he eventually sought medical help. He added:

But then I got on medicine, and it started turning around. I started feeling like myself again. And then, you slowly come out of it. But I can remember exactly how I felt then and everything that was happening in my head. It was frightening.

Now 55 and preparing for what he says will be the final Jackass film, Knoxville has spoken more openly about the long-term consequences of his stunt work; he even has documented brain damage. He’s acknowledged that he can’t mess around with bulls anymore. Not because he doesn’t love the chaos, he’s admitted bulls are still his favorite, but because the cost has become too high.

As the final Jackass movie approaches, it’s clear Knoxville understands the risks differently. The way he describes his mind “turning against” him is a reminder to us fans that the craziest stunts can linger even after the cameras stop rolling. Jackass 5 is set to hit theaters on June 26, 2026.

'The Older You Get, The Less People Want To See Your Penis.' Johnny Knoxville On How Much Nudity Will Be In Jackass 5

Johnny Knoxville has never exactly been subtle about what the Jackass franchise is selling: chaos, camaraderie, and the kind of stunts that make you cover your eyes even when you’ve seen them before. But as the upcoming Jackass 5 gets ready to arrive on the 2026 movie calendar this summer, and as Knoxville insists this is truly the final feature, he’s also acknowledging something the franchise doesn’t love to talk about. The older you get, the less people want to see your penis. That’s right, Johnny Knoxville is opening up about how much nudity will be in the fifth and final installment of the series.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, the 55-year-old Jackass co-creator looked back on more than 25 years of self-inflicted mayhem, the injuries (and concussions) that come with it, and the weird little “rules” that formed along the way. This includes the long-running tradition of male nudity that somehow became as essential to the brand as shopping carts and bulls. Knoxville’s take on the nudity question is peak him:

It just seems like there’s more penis in each film. Though the older you get, the less people want to see your penis. I’ll tell you that right now. When we were filming Jackass Forever, we were like, ‘God, there’s so much c–k. We’re, like, halfway through. Let’s go easy on the c–k the rest of the movie.’ And then two days later, we’d be on set filming something, and we’re like, ‘Eh, it’s funnier if he’s naked.’

That one quote pretty much explains the entire Jackass creative process. They’ll make a sincere attempt at restraint, but restraint isn’t funny. Think of male nudity as the special sauce of a Jackass stunt, if you will.

For longtime fans, the escalation of nudity has almost become a running joke within the franchise itself. Each installment seems to push things a little further, not necessarily because it needs to, but because the group’s internal logic often lands on the same conclusion, and that is that it’s just funnier with nudity.

The entire crew of Jackass has racked up their share of brutal injuries--one member, “Danger” Ehren McGhehey, actually ended up with a ruptured testicle. Still, Knoxville, now 55, has been increasingly candid about the physical toll the series has taken on him in particular. Sixteen documented concussions, multiple fractures, and that notoriously brutal bull hit in Jackass Forever that left him with brain damage have forced him to reevaluate what he can and should keep doing. That includes showing his nearly six-decade-old “gym dog.”

That self-awareness adds a different texture to the upcoming film. While the crew is reportedly about 80% locked on stunt ideas, the Fear Factor: House of Fear host has acknowledged that this will be the “natural place to end.” The fifth movie is being positioned as the last official installment, a final burst of mayhem before they (allegedly) hang up the jockstraps for good.

Of course, “never again” has been said before. But there’s a noticeable shift in tone this time. Knoxville has spoken openly about stepping back from certain high-risk stunts due to concussions and long recovery periods. Bulls, in particular, once his specialty, are largely off the table.

That makes the conversation about nudity oddly symbolic. If the franchise began as fearless twenty-somethings launching themselves at danger (and each other), it now features men who are acutely aware of their mortality, and their audience’s tolerance. Yet, despite the self-deprecation, the core formula doesn’t appear to be changing dramatically. Knoxville admitted that even when they try to dial back the exposed anatomy, the comedy math rarely works in their favor. If there’s an option between clothed chaos and naked chaos, the latter tends to win.

Whether Jackass 5 ends up being a triumphant sendoff or, as Knoxville jokingly suggested elsewhere in the interview, a “train wreck,” one thing seems certain, and that's that the guys are still committed to making themselves the punchline. Jackass 5 is scheduled to hit theaters on June 26, 2026.

We Did Not See Jacob Elordi Referencing Jackass Coming When We Asked About Wuthering Heights' Viral One-Arm Lift

After a few years of anticipation, Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights will finally make its theatrical debut alongside 2026 movie releases this coming weekend. While the film has yet to hit cinemas, fans are already gushing about certain moments from trailers and TV spots. So, when CinemaBlend had a chat with stars about one memorable romantic scene in the movie, Jacob Elordi cautioning audiences about what not do, but was really surprising was his mention of MTV's classic franchise Jackass.

During a new interview with Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie, our own Hannah Saulic asked the leads if they had any tips for fans of the movie who might want to recreate the one-arm lift Heathcliff does to Cathy during the movie. Here’s what Robbie said:

I’m not going to reveal the movie magic secret to how we actually did that shot, but, yeah, it was all Jacob. He did that.

Considering the sensuality that radiates from that scene, the notion of fans wanting to replicate it isn't all that far-fetched. On the surface, it might seem like a romantic way for a person to physically embrace their partner. However, Elordi doesn’t think the move should become a TikTok trend anytime soon. In his words:

They should put like a Jackass thing before the movie like, ‘Do NOT try this at home’.

I'd think that picking someone up with one arm would go into a different category than the antics on the slapstick comedy franchise starring Johnny Knoxville like jumping on a pogo stick naked or facing off with a bull (leading to literal brain injury). Still, we'll heed Elordi’s words.

However, in the same breadth, since Elordi and Robbie laughed and joked around in our interview and made mention of “movie magic” (you can watch their comments in the video above), I think it also might be possible that Elordi had some lift support on set? Here's what else Robbie said:

You just did so many curls to prepare for that… just on the right arm, too.

While we may not get the “how” behind Elordi’s swoonworthy one-arm lift anytime soon, part of the reason the scene must exist is to allow the audience to revel in the fantasy of the romantic story. That said, we must also warn people that the original story the film is based on is rather tragic.

As it goes with many book-to-screen adaptations, there’s been a lot of discourse from fans about how the movie compares to Emily Brontë's original novel. That's especially true in regard to the backlash linked to Elordi's casting as Heathcliff from within some circles. Regardless, Fennell’s movie is receiving mostly positive reviews from critics.

When Margot Robbie talked about screening the film for her own girl friends, she said they were “frothing at the mouth” like “rabid dogs”, and I'd like to think Jacob Elordi and his upper-arm strength is one big reason why. As Someone Who Grew Up Watching Bam Margera, His Recent Comments About Jackass Have Me Incredibly Bummed

Like a lot of dudes in their mid-to-late 30s, I spent way too much time watching Jackass (the 2002 movie was the first time I snuck into a theater), the CKY videos and pretty much anything that involved Bam Margera doing really dumb shit for a quick laugh. I cannot even count how many nights my friends, brothers and I would watch Margera and company pull off some impossible tricks on a skateboard before making life hell for his parents.

That said, you can probably imagine how bummed I was when Margera was dismissed from Jackass Forever before the film’s 2022 release, and then again when he recently explained to one of my colleagues why he was done with the franchise. What hope I had for a return to the old days was shattered in an instant, like a collarbone from a stunt gone awry.

Bam Margera Saying 'The Damage Has Been Done' Seems Like The Nail In The Coffin For Any Potential Returns

When I read Bam Margera’s CinemaBlend interview not that long ago, the realization hit me that, despite the former Element Skateboards pro making great strides in his personal life and making amends, this was pretty much the nail in the coffin for any potential return to the Jackass brand. As he told my colleague Mike Reyes:

They have like new dudes, and what they did to me, making me go to treatment and paying for it, and then not putting me in a movie, and, you know, I had to go to court over it and I just, you couldn't offer me enough money to want to do another Jackass with them. The damage has been done.

Bam saying “the damage has been done” hit so damn hard. It hit harder than a football into that “brand-new” car from CKY, harder than the giant hand from Jackass 3, and harder than tipping over in a shopping cart at a high rate of speed. It’s over, and I have to accept it.

I Had A Feeling It'd Come To This, But I Always Thought The Band Would Get Back Together For One Last Ride

Even when Bam Margera sued his former Jacakss costars a few years ago, I still held onto hope and thought that eventually the band would get back together for at least one last ride. “Never say never” is pretty much the gospel of show business, and for a while there it looked like water would be under the bridge, and Bam, Steve-O, Johnny Knoxville would be jumping over it in a shopping cart before too long.

Call me an optimist, call me a fool, call me someone who’s afraid to let go, I don’t care. I had a feeling it’d come to this and Bam would go his own way, but hope can do a lot to a man-child, especially when it comes to something like Jackass.

I Appreciate Margera's Candor, But I'm Bummed Nonetheless

With Bam Margera being in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 after there were fears that all the drama surrounding him in recent years would prevent him from showing up in the remaster of the 2001 and 2002 skating games, I’m glad he’s getting to a chance to be in the spotlight again. I also appreciate his candor regarding the whole Jackass situation and where he wants to go in life. I truly do..

However, I’m still bummed that he’s not going to be teaming up with his old friends (and even older based on comments he made about Viva La Bam) any time soon. But I’m still going to hope.

If I can’t see new Bam Margera stunts and shenanigans, at least I can go back and watch classic episodes of Jackass, the movies, and a lot of the skater-turned-superstar’s past efforts, with a Paramount+ subscription.

That was until a rift formed in the wake of Margera’s dismissal from Jackass Forever; which based on the comments the man himself shared with CinemaBlend, sounds like a permanent fixture.

The Fallout From Jackass Forever Is Still Strong With Bam Margera

I had the privilege of speaking with Bam Margera to discuss his inclusion as the “secret skater” in Activision’s new remake of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4. During our chat, the subject of whether he could return to either of his hit MTV shows seemed ripe for discussion, especially in the wake of successful reboots such as Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

While the media personality didn’t seem too adverse to reprising the stunt/prank angle of Jackass, a reunion with Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, and the rest of the OG crew was flat out off the table. Margera shared with me why this is is the case, with the following explanation:

They have like new dudes, and what they did to me, making me go to treatment and paying for it, and then not putting me in a movie, and, you know, I had to go to court over it and I just, you couldn't offer me enough money to want to do another Jackass with them. The damage has been done.

In previous interviews, Margera’s concern over the Jackass legacy has squarely been linked to his feelings towards Johnny Knoxville and director Jeff Tremaine. As mentioned above, the huge sticking point to Margera’s feud and eventually settled legal battle with his former colleagues was his supposed coercion into a rehab program.

With so much bad blood over such a short span of time, it doesn’t seem like there will be any sort of Jackass revival or reunion of any kind with Bam Margera present. Thankfully, the reasons why the Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4 star won’t be bringing Viva la Bam back are not the result of any sort of falling-out.

A Viva La Bam Revival Is Equally Unlikely, And I Agree With Bam Margera’s Reason Why

Though people still hold some of the most stomach-churning Jackass stunts in high regard, highlights from Bam Margera’s solo series are also part of the conversation. Which is a good time to mention that there is no way Viva la Bam is going to return. In this case you can just chalk it up the results to getting older and wiser, as seen in Margera’s answer about that hypothetical revival:

I just feel like that type of show has completely run its course. Living with my parents, and painting the whole kitchen blue, and having my mom freak out - to end something like that, and then your life moves on, you get your own house, with your own wife and you have a kid, it would be like … if we did a Viva la Bam [reboot], I would have to move back in with my parents and re-mess with 'em after giving them a 15-year break. It would just be weird.

For now, Bam Margera is happy to be skateboarding again, trying to get in at least a trick a day. At the same time, Margera's candor on his struggles, Jackass or otherwise, feels like another important component to his sobriety journey.

That sort of mentality helped him land his return to the world of video games, and helped he mend fences in his friendship with Tony Hawk. Mickey 17 is quite an offbeat dark comedy for Robert Pattinson. He portrays an “expendable” who dies and is repeatedly cloned for dangerous space missions until he confronts one of his clones. As soon as the sci-fi movie’s first trailer premiered, you couldn’t ignore the British actor’s unexpectedly distinctive new voice. If you’re curious where the Remember Me actor got his Mickey 17 voice from, he credits Jackass’ Steve-O, and now I can’t unhear it.

If I were to describe Robert Pattinson’s voice as Mickey Barnes, I would say it’s a bit raspy and quirky. There's almost an underdog quality of being unsure of what life throws at you, but you still go along with it all. That's all the more reason why Pattinson is perfect to play Bong Joon-ho’s character, who’s constantly thrown in death-defying missions. As to where Pattinson drew inspiration from, here's what he told Capital Buzz TikTok:

We talked about this TV show Jackass, which I was obsessed with growing up. There was something I liked about the relationship between two characters, Steve-O and Johnny Knoxville. And like Steve-O was this guy who would constantly be hurting himself all the time and be really enthusiastic about doing it and it didn't really make any sense. And it's kind of, it just popped into my head one day, and I was kinda trying to do his voice and then I sort of morphed into this other thing.

That makes so much sense! As Steve-O has received the worst injuries in the Jackass franchise, you can hear this chaotic energy in the stunt performer's voice whenever a prank goes horribly wrong. I can tell Robert Pattinson tries to mirror Steve-O’s raspiness, enthusiasm, and reckless energy. You can almost hear the weight of all of the dangerous missions this “expendable” has been through in the authentic voice he created. Now, that’s true talent.

Robert Pattinson is the perfect example of an actor who heavily alters their voice for a role. Just when you thought it was a stretch for the British star to talk in an American accent for the Twilight movies, he donned a French accent for Netflix’s The King, which certainly got fans talking. In his role as a detestable pastor in The Devil All the Time, Pattinson surprised the cast and crew with his deep Southern accent that he waited to debut on the first day of shooting. Hey, if you’re gonna wow a film set as well as an audience, you might as well go big.

And we can’t forget about the dark, brooding voice the high-grossing actor used for The Batman. Robert Pattinson felt that sounding like the Caped Crusader came out ”organically” as he kept getting more into character. Director Matt Reeves even made sure Pattinson’s “Bat Voice” was the same as his alter ego Bruce Wayne’s for audiences to further connect with the iconic character. With all of the voices Pattinson comes up with for his characters, it shows how much he understands the roles he embodies and wants to bring something unique and layered to each one.

Now that I know that Pattinson’s Mickey 17 voice came from Jackass’ Steve-O, now that’s all I'll be able to hear out of the Good Time actor when I see the book-to-screen adaptation. Well, as the darkly comedic character does go through some Jackass-type scenarios that are more dangerously scary to go through compared to intentionally funny, I think Pattinson picked a good muse to draw on.

At the age of 62 Tom Cruise isn’t only one of the biggest movie stars in the world, but one who is known above all for his impressive stunt work. Cruise and his stunts are certainly an inspiration to many, but perhaps none more so than Jackass alum Steve-O, who is apparently inspired by Cruise to continue his own crazy stunts, in an attempt to outdo the Mission: Impossible star.

While most of the members of the Jackass crew have seemingly pulled back on doing the sorts of things that might permanently injure them, Steve-O has continued to tour while doing some of the most bizarre, and legitimately dangerous things that he can imagine. The man considered giving himself breast implants, and while he has decided against that, he recently told EW that he’s come up with crazier ideas, all in an attempt to try and do things that make Tom Cruise stents look mundane. He said…

If it wasn't for Tom Cruise being as badass as he was through his 50s and now into his 60s, I don't know that I would have so much inspiration. I'm out to make Tom Cruise look like a big fat p---y. That's my mantra. It's a tough spot to be in, but I'm a persistent bastard, and I've made up my mind that I'm going to be badass and I'm going to keep pushing boundaries at 50 years old. That's what this whole boob job idea was and what the whole exercise has turned into, putting together this new tour. It's been largely a comedy of errors, and there's been a lot of surprising success.

I guess it’s an understandable feeling. If you see Tom Cruise driving motorcycles off of cliffs in his 60s, and you’re 50, you figure you must still be able to do things just as nuts, even Steve-O has a professed fear of skydiving. It’s actually quite the compliment that Steve-O, one of the world’s foremost authorities on doing crazy stuff, is just as impressed with what Tom Cruise does as the rest of us.

Steve-O tells EW he considered firing a bullet through the side of his mouth, believing it would pass through his cheeks with minimal damage. Luckily, it appears Steve-O does do research on his stunts, and he realized that wouldn’t actually work out well for him.

Still, while he is trying to make Tom Cruise look bad, Steve-O is realizing that he may be coming to the end of his time putting his body on the line and causing people to pass out at his shows. His current tour has pushed his body to its apparent limit. The main problem is Steve-O doesn’t seem to know what to do if he’s not doing this. He continued…

I might not have another show like this in me. As far as the high-impact physical stunts, I just don't know if I could one-up this one. At the same time too, every single project that I've ever worked on in my career was always going to be my last one. Maybe I will evolve and figure out what comes next, but I just don't see how I can push my body further than I've been pushing it for this.

Steve-O has done some crazy stunts in his life and fans certainly love to see him do them. Those fans (hopefully) also want him to stop before he pushes himself too far. He’s certainly shown what he can do at 50 years old. Maybe leave the crazy stuff to Tom Cruise now.

‘They Ruined The Legacy’: Bam Margera Doesn’t Hold Back When Discussing His Issues With Johnny Knoxville And Jackass Director

Bam Margera made a name for himself as one of the OG cast members of the Jackass franchise. For years, the stunt performer and skateboarder entertained audiences alongside his co-stars, through their wild (and dangerous) feats. More recently though, Margera has been on the outs with his former collaborators and even sued Johnny Knoxville and director Jeff Tremaine a few years ago. Margera was recently asked about the state of his relationship with the franchise that made him a star. While sharing his thoughts, he didn’t hold back when discussing the gripes he has with Knoxville and Tremaine.

As the 44-year-old media personality has sought to maintain sobriety, he’s been reflecting on his life and career. That includes his time being a part of one of the biggest media franchises that MTV has ever had. The father of one spoke to Us Weekly about his continuing efforts to stay healthy and also ended up touching on where he stands with his former comrades. While he shared positive sentiments about longtime collaborator Steve-O, he was less than complimentary when discussing the other two aforementioned series alums:

Well, I’ve always been friends with Steve-O, but right now, I don’t really like having a phone just because I want to concentrate on my sobriety and skateboarding and just get back to loving life again with no interruptions. When the time comes, I’ll see everybody.But to be honest, what Knoxville and [director] Jeff Tremaine did to me, I don’t think I could ever forgive. They ruined the legacy of Jackass. … I’ve broken every bone in my body, [gotten] 16 staples in the head, the list goes on — but to be betrayed by [the] Jackass [team], stabbed in the back and abandoned … was the worst feeling ever.

Drama amongst the trio broke out back in 2021 after it was reported that Bam Margera was fired from Jackass Forever, which he filmed some material for. He subsequently began to call out his former collaborators on social media over the decision. Eventually, Jeff Tremaine took legal action by filing a temporary restraining order against the ousted performer. Said order was eventually extended by three years after Margera purportedly threatened Tremaine’s family with a death threat.

As Bam Margera Continues To Go In And Out Of Rehab, Jackass' Steve-O Expresses Concerns

The Viva La Bam star filed suit against the pair, Paramount Pictures and more in late 2021 following his dismissal from the movie. At the center of the lawsuit was a “wellness agreement” that he claimed he was required to sign for the production. It was also reportedly stipulated that he had to complete a minimum 90-day stint in a rehab facility and maintain sobriety should he join the movie. On the whole, it was the Radio Bam host’s contention that he had been wrongfully terminated. Though it was also reported that he’d tested positive for Adderall.

Months after the filing, the lawsuit was dismissed in 2022, as Bam Margera settled with his ex-collaborators out of court. Considering that the dust seems to have settled on the legal proceedings, it’s natural to wonder whether Margera would ever consider returning to the MTV franchise. While chatting with Us Weekly, he answered that question with comments that seem to be definitive:

No, it’s done. It’s absolutely done. There’s no more Jackass, as far as I’m concerned. It’s been ruined.

Bam Margera took shots at Johnny Knoxville on multiple occasions in 2023. In one instance, Margera challenged him to a fight in a video posted to Instagram. He later dissed Knoxville again by way of a song, which took shots at the Jackass crew as a whole. At this point, it seems that the damage has been done and that Margera is seeking to distance himself from Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine and the fan-favorite brand that he believes has now been "ruined."

From spinoff shows to WrestleMania appearances to lucrative tours to dream acting roles with Danny DeVito and others, several members of the Jackass crew have found incredible success outside the franchise that made them famous. Johnny Knoxville and Steve-O in particular have achieved heights neither one likely ever thought possible, but that doesn’t mean fans won’t always still be clamoring for more classic Jackass shenanigans. There’s just something nostalgic and loveable about the movies that fans can’t get away from; so, it should come as no surprise that Steve-O recently sat for an interview and was asked about whether a fifth movie is going to happen.

Speaking to ComicBook.com, the beloved stuntman was asked what the chances are we’ll see all the guys together to shoot another film. Unfortunately, this update may not have been what some fans were looking for. He said there haven’t been any conversations about another film and pointed to his co-star Johnny Knoxville’s brain injury on the set of Jackass Forever as a reason they’re taking it easy.

No, I've heard nothing of that. I know that Knoxville, and thank God, Knoxville is not trying to risk his life anymore or hit his head anymore. That's just the one important thing. Knoxville hitting his head has really lost its fun for us.

The line between comedy and traumatic injury has always been a little fuzzier than a doctor would recommend on Jackass. Many of the group’s best bits have involved someone putting their body at serious risk, but as many in the group have gotten older and more sober, the risks of that recklessness have come more to the forefront. That was especially true while filming the terrific Jackass Forever when a stunt with a bull went wrong and Knoxville ended up in the hospital with a concussion and brain damage that required months of rehab and antidepressants. Steve-O has been open about how much the Jackass stunt stuck with him, and even more than a year later, he's clearly shook up about it.

Yeah, trust me, I was there. I was like, 'Why are we doing this? Come on man. Why are we doing this?'

Steve-O and company have given fans plenty of footage over the years. They should definitely not make another Jackass movie if they don’t want to. Recovering from an injury in your late 40s and early 50s, as most of the guys are now, is way harder than doing so in your 20s. That being said, I hope they do realize that a lot of what so many of us loved about watching them wasn’t the injuries.

It was watching them hang out and bond through awkward and uncomfortable circumstances. Some of their best bits are more clever than scary, and at some point down the road, if they ever wanted to make a movie that involved less physical violence and more pranks and awkward hijinks, many of us would be there.

Jackass Vet Bam Margera Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop Showing Off His Skateboarding Skills Amid Sobriety Journey

Jackass fans have watched Bam Margera battle addiction in recent years. He revealed earlier in 2023 that he was sober as he started making public appearances again, and he’s been marking his sobriety on social media. Now Margera gave fans a peek into one way he’s staying sober – skateboarding. The Jackass vet just can’t stop, won’t stop showing off his skateboarding skills.

Most Jackass fans know the TV personality was a well-known professional skateboarder before his time doing outrageous stunts on the MTV show and its movies. Margera appeared to be in a better place as he uploaded a series of skateboarding clips to his Instagram account. Right around Thanksgiving, the former Jackass star put up a clip showing him doing a simple stunt on a makeshift skate ramp. Watch Margera get back to his first love in the video below.

The first clip was just a preview of his renewed interest in the sport. Margera hopped on Instagram again to post another skateboarding clip. This time, the former skateboarding professional took his board and skills to a public skate park. Compared to his infamous and scary stunts from the Jackass films, the TV personality seemed at peace as he and the board became one. This is understandable considering he’s been active in the sport since childhood. Despite his addiction struggles over the years, it’s nice to see his excellent skateboarding skills are still intact.

Bam Margera’s Public Sobriety Battle Has Resulted In Dire Consequences

Those amazing skateboarding clips are a good sign that Bam Margera’s sobriety journey is going well. It’s been heartbreaking watching the former Jackass star struggle with alcoholism and drug use in recent years. Of course, fans weren’t the only ones watching helplessly, as his former co-stars, family and friends made some difficult decisions regarding their relationship with the troubled star.

After being excluded from Jackass Forever, Margera got into a huge feud with director Jeff Tremaine, which led to the latter taking legal action. The feud fueled bad blood with his former co-stars Johnny Knoxville and Steve-O. All this bad blood resulted in Margera countersuing the former, the Jackass creative team, MTV and Paramount. The whole ordeal was eventually settled for an undisclosed amount. However, the relationship between him and his former co-stars appeared irreparable after releasing a diss track. Now, the 43-year-old TV personality might be close to mending his friendship with Steve-O, according to wrestling star Stephen Glover.

Things on the family front weren’t much better, as his family spoke out about his addiction struggles, constant arrests and frequent rehab stints. At one point, his older brother reached out online following the TV personality's disappearance. The incident reportedly led to Margera being placed in a psych ward. While the Viva La Bam star struggled with his sobriety, he and his ex-wife have been engaged in a nasty custody battle over their son, with both sides launching allegations against the other. However, the skateboarder got some recent good news about the ongoing battle.

After some rough years, Bam Margera hit a sobriety milestone, and he reflected on his struggles and past health issues as he's worked to stay sober. Margera was honest about his failed rehab stints while exploring a different approach to his ongoing sobriety.

Bam Margera Got Some Very Good News In His Ongoing Custody Battle

Jackass first debuted on MTV back in 2000, so the motley crew of stunt performers have been entertaining audiences for over two decades. This continued most recently with Jackass Forever (which is available with a Paramount+ subscription), although one member of the group was noticeably missing: Bam Margera. He’s faced a number of personal and legal struggles over the last few years, although Bam just got some very good news for his ongoing custody battle. Let’s break it all down.

For the past few years the public has watched as Bam tried to get sober, and the struggles that have occurred in that quest. That includes Margera’s public intoxication arrest, which resulted in him being unable to see his son. But TMZ has revealed that he’s been granted monitored visitation, and will be able to see Phoenix over the holidays. Although he won’t be alone with his son, as he’ll need to be with a professional supervisor during their forthcoming time together.

Per this report, there aren't any concrete plans/dates for this meet-up to occur, but one would assume this will happen sooner rather than later. Margera has spent months complaining about missing his son, Bam's chance to finally reunite with Phoenix is one he'll presumably jump at.

After seeing Bam Margera struggle and face various legal issues over the last few years, this is no doubt a welcomed bit of good news for his generations of fans. Prior to those issues, Bam made headlines for suing the Jackass crew over being largely being cut out of Jackass Forever. Folks like Johnny Knoxville and Steve-O cited his sobriety as an issue, and Margera has publicly feuded with them online since.

Jackass’ Bam Margera And Steve-O Have Been Estranged, But It Sounds Like A Wrestling Star Is Helping Them Make Up

Jackass remains one of the most beloved media franchises in all of pop culture, as fans collectively still have a soft spot for MTV’s band of daredevils. Unfortunately though, there’s been a little bit of animosity within their ranks over the last few years. OG member Bam Margera has had beef with several of his former cohorts, including Steve-O. Though the entertainer and author tried to help Margera early on, they eventually started keeping their distance from one another. There now seems to be a glimmer of hope, however, when it comes to a reconciliation between the two. That’s apparently because a notable wrestling star is helping them reconnect.

The performer, whose real name is Stephen Glover, has been incredibly candid when discussing his relationship with his former co-star during the last several months. Much of what he’s had to say involves his concerns for Bam Margera, who has struggled with addiction. Thankfully, Glover had some positive news to report during an installment of his Wild Ride! Podcast. In a clip shared to TikTok, the 49-year-old stuntman revealed he’s been wanting to connect with Margera over skateboarding, which is something they both love. And to do so, Glover asked a good friend to reach out to the Viva La Bam star – AEW star Darby Allin:

He’s pretty tight with Bam. He came over, and he’s skating the ramp a couple of days ago. And I was like, Hey man, I lost touch with Bam, I don’t have a number for him, I don’t really have anything, you know? But I want Bam to see my ramp, dude. Could you text him this clip? And Darby let me know that Bam got back to him, and Bam asked, ‘Was Steve-O talking shit about me?’ And Darby said, ‘No, he wasn’t. He just wants you to skate his ramp.’

Given everything that’s transpired between the two in recent months, that’s certainly a solid first step to repairing their friendship. Reunions don’t typically happen overnight, especially when it comes to delicate situations like these. While I’m glad the MTV vet extended an olive branch, one really has to give credit to Darby Allin for being the real MVP here. He definitely didn’t have to go out of his way to send that message, but it’s so great that he did. Kudos to the TNT Championship winner for playing peacemaker following what’s been a somewhat uneasy time for two former co-stars.

‘I’ve Been A Miserable F–k For Many Years’: Jackass’ Bam Margera Reflects On His Health Struggles And More In Candid Post

Bam Margera notably filed suit against his colleagues a few years ago after he was removed from Jackass Forever after reportedly failing a drug test. In the aftermath, Steve-O stated that his relationship with Margera was still sturdy and proved that by taking him on tour with him. The former clown hoped to give his buddy an outlet while he attempted to achieve sobriety. Months later though, Margera took shots at his buddy in a diss track that he dropped and, shortly after, he took more shots at Steve-O by criticizing his skateboarding skills. This eventually led to a back-and-forth between the pair that persisted for a few weeks.

Despite all of that, it sounds like the A Hard Kick in the Nuts author is prepared to bury the hatchet, and he continues to root for his old buddy. So it should come as no surprise that after he spoke about how the AEW veteran sent the message, he revealed a positive update the wrestler shared with him:

The craziest part of why I brought up Darby Allin is that he told me that Bam’s got his alcohol monitor/bracelet off. … He’s got it off, and he isn’t wasted. That’s crazy.

Steve-O showed a significant amount of concern for Bam Margera over this past year. He even penned a (since-deleted) emotional message on Instagram, in which he opined that his friend was “dying.” His situation has been looking better in recent weeks, though, as Margera has not only been open about his struggles but also how he’s received help with his sobriety journey. One can only hope that he continues to make progress on that front and that his bond with his former on-screen partner improves. We’ll see how that all pans out as time goes on and whether Darby Allin continues to play middleman for them as well.

I’ve Seen The Jackass Movies, But Steve-O’s Special Has People Passing Out. Now I’m Worried About Watching The ‘Vasectomy Olympics’

Steve-O (whose real name is Stephen Glover) is known for his fearless antics as one of the beloved cast members of Jackass, as well as being no stranger to wild stunts. The former MTV reality star is now taking comedy to a new level with his latest project, Steve-O's Bucket List. The exclusive trailer for his third standup special offers a blend of classic Jackass-style stunts and side-splitting standup comedy. It was filmed during his sold-out Bucket List comedy tour in London last July, which marked Steve-O's anticipated return to the U.K.. The Game Over, Man! alum enthusiastically hails this special as "the greatest thing [he's] ever done." It's left an indelible mark on the audience, including many people passing out. After hearing about these fainting episodes, watching the "Vasectomy Olympics" has become a significant source of concern for me.

Speaking to EW about the daring endeavor, Glover recounted some astonishing statistics, revealing that his comedy shows have a rather unexpected side effect: making people pass out. He explained:

While doing the tour, the record for people passing out was 11 at one show, and we absolutely average at least one person per show. Everybody is invited to cover their eyes as needed, and I won't be offended if you do.

Lighthearted gore and his outrageous stunts have always been a staple in the former Ringling Brothers performer’s repertoire, but what’s even more shocking is the reason behind the audience’s fainting spells. It all stems from a segment in the special known as the “Vasectomy Olympics.” Steve-O admitted:

I was very shocked when I discovered that people were passing out from it because vasectomies are really not terribly invasive or gory on any level. I thought the footage of the procedure was totally underwhelming, and I just thought it was great that we did so much funny stuff immediately afterwards, but it turns out there's just a sliver of the population that cannot handle a vasectomy, even as minimally invasive as it is.

The insane stunt was inspired by a joke the comic had heard as a kid, “What’s the definition of macho? Although the one-time professional clown says he didn’t aim to induce fainting, his objective was to take his stunts to the extreme and, as he puts it, “push everything further” beyond the confines of community guidelines restricting his content on platforms like YouTube and social media. The daredevil further joked:

I've never heard about people passing out during Jackass movies, and the fact that they pass out so much watching this show I think is the most objective metric indicating that I indeed raised the bar for crazy.

In the comedy special, it's not just the vasectomy stunt that's making the audience faint. Another shocking moment that led to people passing out is the "Spinal Tap" stunt, where the Wildboyz star undergoes an on-camera epidural procedure. As he recounts:

They're doing all these things to me that are horrifying, but I was effectively oblivious to it, and it's just really fascinating and dark. And after that particular stunt, I just started sobbing.

Chief among them is skateboarder/ TV personality Bam Margera, who has been struggling recently related to his sobriety and some legal shakeups. He recently reflected on his struggles in a candid post, even being quoted saying “I’ve been a miserable fuck for many years.” Let’s break it all down.

The public has been watching the Jackass icon’s struggles for years now, such as Bam’s multiple public intoxication arrests and his stints in rehab (including Margera breaking out). But he’s seemingly on the men, and has been sharing updates related to his sobriety and ongoing legal battle with ex Nikki Boyd. Case in point: Bam’s recent Instagram post, where he reflected on the state of his life right now. In his words:

I’ve come to realize I’ve been a miserable fuck for many years on pills and alcohol. Thanks to my girlfriend Dannii for being a certified stretch coach and fitness trainer. She’s got my legs 100 percent back to normal. To the point where I thought I couldn’t skateboard anymore because the doctors said from alcohol dehydration I’ll never be able to skate again. They were like dry, rotten, rubber bands.

Talk about clarity. Addiction is a brutal disease, one that is known for affecting both the addict and their loved ones. Bam Margera claims he’s been sober for a while now, seemingly with a new perspective on substance issues. And he’s giving a lot of credit to his new girlfriend Dannii Marie for helping him get physically healthy.

Back in late September, Margera revealed he was one month sober, and seemingly wasn’t using a program like AA in order to find clarity. Since then he has been focused on being reunited with his son; Bam has been in the midst of a custody battle for quite some time now. Later in that same IG video, he spoke about where things stand by sharing:

Now to complete my happiness all I want is to see my son Phoenix Wolf. It’s been 200 days since I’ve seen him. It’s been a legal matter… it’s been a never ending money pit. Once I was on life support for eight days with a tube down my throat with Covid and pneumonia and Nikki didn’t even call to see if I was okay, I knew it was officially over.

200 days is certainly a long time to be separated from one’s child, so it’s understandable that this might be causing Bam some distress. As previously mentioned, Margera has been fighting for custody rights for months now. But one assumes that publicly relapsing and recent arrests have impacted the ongoing legal situation. He spoke about his fraught relationship with ex Nikki Boyd, saying:

I just want her to be happy and it’s time for both of us to grow up. And I want to see my son. I love him more than anything. And thanks to the fans for understanding my pain.

Indeed, there are generations of Jackass fans out there who are invested in what’s been happening to Bam Margera over the last few years. In a new candid interview, the legendary daredevil opened up about his tumultuous journey through addiction, legal entanglements and unsuccessful attempts at rehabilitation. He also shared insights into why rehab didn't work for him and confirmed rumors of his sobriety. Additionally, Margera revealed what ultimately put him on the path to being sober.

The media personality's history of substance abuse and run-ins with the law have been well-documented. The troubled star recently appeared on the Preston & Steve show on 93.3 WMMR, where he candidly discussed his journey to sobriety and the turbulent events that have unfolded in his life over the past few months. In his own words:

I bought a one-way ticket to hell and back, and I’ll explain, but I’m phenomenal now. I have the Guinness Book of World Records of longest Florida shuffle – fifteen back-to-back rehabs, usually 90 days of peace but sometimes more. Luckily, I had phenomenal insurance, and the interventionist knows that if you have insurance, they’ll find every reason to keep you there. So now that I’m out... All that didn’t work, because I got forced into these rehabs like sabotaged by friends and family saying like, ‘Hey, Bam, come to Ruth’s Chris Steak House and have a nice fancy dinner.’ And it’s not a dinner, it’s just an intervention [sabotage]. So I’m already ready to get out [of rehab]. Like, ‘I can’t wait to get out just to sip on a White Claw and give you the bird.’ So, all that didn’t work because I was already bitter about it.

Bam Margera's struggles with addiction and his tumultuous relationship with rehabilitation programs were a rollercoaster ride that seemed never-ending. In August, after an incident that led to a public intoxication arrest in Radnor Township, he received a court order to wear an ankle-monitoring bracelet and participate in Alcoholics Anonymous. As he continued his story though, Margera revealed the turning point that led to his current 45 days of sobriety was a new relationship. He continued:

But when I was at my wit’s end in LA, I was at the Sunset Marquee, and I’ve about had it because it’s a legal matter with custody issue between Phoenix Wolf, my five-year-old son, and Nikki and all this stuff. And I just happened to meet the most phenomenal girl ever. Her name is Danny Marie – [she’s] right here. … So we connected big time [, and] she gave me an ultimatum – her pusswa or the Vodka. … 45 days now sober.

During the interview, the Viva La Bam star openly discussed the persistent legal hurdles he's been facing, which include the consequences of his exclusion from Jackass Forever and an ongoing custody battle for his 5-year-old son, Phoenix. He sadly revealed that he hasn't had the opportunity to see his son for over 200 days, a heartbreaking situation that arose following Phoenix's mother, Nikki Boyd, initiating divorce proceedings against the CKY alum in February. On a more optimistic note, it is a nice change of pace hearing the Haggard writer sharing he has a new girlfriend who has played a pivotal role in his commitment to sobriety and has introduced structure into his life.

We can only hope that Bam Margera continues to take ownership of his journey toward sobriety and remains steadfast on the path to recovery.

This includes Bam Margera, who has been having a number of public struggles over the last few years. And after various incidents and fallouts with his fellow cast members like Steve-O, reports indicate that Bam Margera is actually one month sober. Let’s break it all down.

Over the past few years Margera has had a very public battle with substance issues. This has resulted in the Viva La Bam star’s public intoxication arrest, as well as an ongoing custody battle with his ex Nikki Boyd. But TMZ is reporting that he’s a month sober and has been once again spending his time skating.

According to a source that’s allegedly close to Margera, he’s been living on a farm with his new girlfriend– presumably helping him get and stay sober. The pair has also reportedly been getting a ton of exercise in during this time, resulting in Bam losing weight. It sounds like he may be on the path to a healthier lifestyle, which is sure to be a delight to the countless Jackass fans out there. Just last week Margera claimed he was sober, and now it turns out he’s one month in.

This latest update about Bam is a hopeful one, especially for those who have closely been following his struggles. Two months ago Margera was once again arrested for public intoxication. And those legal shakeups seem to have an effect on Bam’s ongoing custody battle with ex Nikki Boyd. As such, news about his sobriety is a welcomed change of pace for the public.

Bam Margera, a key figure in creating the iconic show, Jackass, has been entangled in a series of legal predicaments resulting in countless headlines. From an ongoing spat with his former co-star Steve-O to receiving bad news in his custody battle, the former MTV star has found himself on the wrong side of the law, facing arrests over the last year. In March, the Tony Hawk’s Project 8 veteran faced an arrest for public intoxication in Burbank during a heated dispute with his estranged spouse, Nicole Boyd, at a Thai restaurant. Further details of the arrest emerged, revealing the argument arose from the MTV vet's frustration over not being allowed to see their 5-year-old son, Phoenix, resulting in a loud confrontation. Reports also emerged about the Grind actor evading the police in the Pennsylvania woods just weeks after the restaurant altercation. Additionally, concerned friends and family organized an intervention in response to the events that transpired following the series of events but, unfortunately, their efforts were unsuccessful at the time.

The Haggard performer's most recent public intoxication arrest in August followed closely on the heels of him being ordered to stand trial for allegedly assaulting his brother, Jess Margera. To remain out on bail, he was required to undergo a drug and alcohol screening.

Jackass Star Steve-O Posted Four Of His Mugshot Photos, And I Have A Clear Favorite

Let it never be said that the cast of Jackass have not led interesting lives. While Bam Margera has continued to be in the headlines for a host of reasons, most of them not great, Steve-O is still out there doing his own thing. He’s currently on tour and he’s celebrating his final shows in Florida by showing off his collection of Florida mugshots, like you do.

Steve-O is getting ready for the final four shows of his Bucket List tour and advertised them on Instagram by showing off mugshots of the four times he was arrested in the state. I don’t know just what he was up to each time, but I really appreciate mugshot number three. In the other ones he’s trying to look like he doesn’t really care he got arrested, but in that one, there’s a clear “yeah, here we are again” sort of vibe that I appreciate.

When you look at actual mugshots you tend to see expressions like the other three of these, an attempt to convey that it's no big deal that you just got arrested. The other possibility is a look of fear as you realize you have been arrested and you don't know what's going to happen next. That's why the other image is so perfect. He's not trying to make it look like this is no big deal. You can see that he actually doesn't feel like it's a big deal. He can't be bothered to even pretend like he's a tough guy.

It says something about the life and times of Steve-O that while there are records of him being arrested for a variety of interesting offenses literally all over the world, I have no idea what he did any of the four times he was arrested in Florida. I found a suggestion that at least one of these is from a DUI, and Steve-O has a known history of substance abuse, but only the Jackass icon knows for sure.

I suppose it shouldn’t be too big a shock that a bunch of guys who have a willingness to put their bodies at risk regularly might occasionally end up on the wrong side of the law. Steve-O's Jackass stunts are worthy of a highlight reel all their own. As mentioned, his most noteworthy arrests, and there are several, don’t even cover whatever he got up to in Florida, so the guy has been arrested many, many…many times in his life.

A lot of it was drug-related, leading to Steve-O entering rehab back in 2008. His only major run-in with the law since then was as part of an anti-SeaWorld protest, Steve-O is a major animal rights advocate, in 2015. climbed a construction crane during the protest, which he apparently did completely sober, which is perhaps even more impressive.

If these were all “under the influence” arrests, as seems quite possible then Steve-O should be going back to Florida without likely getting arrested again. He has reportedly maintained his sobriety since his time in rehab, a fact which unfortunately has not influenced his Jackass co-star Bam Margera. Still, it may lead to some funny stories when he returns to Florida on his tour.

Following Spat With Bam Margera Over Diss Track, Jackass' Steve-O Provides Update On Their Relationship

Within this fiery musical salvo, one of the individuals squarely in the crosshairs of Margera's verbal jabs is none other than Steve-O, whose skateboarding prowess becomes a central point of contention. Following an exchange of barbs and insults between the former collaborators, Steve-O provided an update on the two’s relationship.

The stuntman was asked about the present state of his connection with Margera during an interview with Insider. Instead of fueling the ongoing public feud, he offered a composed response to the publication, stating:

I lost contact with him. Haven't heard from him at all. I think he changed his number, and that was that.

Of all the Jackass stars who have put their lives (and dignity) on the line for the sake of entertainment, few, if any, come close to the wild, crazy, and vomit-inducing stunts performed by Steve-O. Over the years, the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Clown College graduate, “Poo Cocktail Supreme” survivor and Bee-Kini model has done a lot to his mind, body, and soul, but his latest stunt could be be one of the oddest yet: an all-natural voodoo doll.

Ahead of the official release of Steve-O All Natural Voodoo Doll, a limited edition, handmade figure produced with Liquid Death, the stuntman, comedian and podcaser participated in an email Q&A interview with CinemaBlend where he discussed a number of topics including more Jackass movies, his work with the WWE and what freaks him out about his “creepy” doll. On the subject of the doll, he said this:

Each voodoo doll is activated by a witch doctor and comes with a bit of my actual hair weaved in. It was pretty creepy and maybe I’ll regret inviting that kind of negative energy onto myself, but I love Liquid Death, so I said fuck it!

Though Steve-O wasn’t fully sure how he would be affected by fans purchasing and rubbing wasabi beads or hot sauce in the nose and eyes of dolls, or placing it near a beehive, he did say that these were the "real deal":

Part of the crew did, in fact, get together for Jackass Shark Week on Discovery Channel in 2022, but there hasn't been any word on a reunion of sorts since then. Earlier in 2023, Steve-O brought Bam Margera with him on the road for his “The Bucket List Tour,” but their time together was short-lived after the former Jackass and CKY star had relapsed. Despite those problems, as well as troubles between Bam and the Jackass crew, Steve-O previously stated that he is here for Margera.

In addition to appearing in four theatrical releases, two full seasons and countless specials in the Jackass franchise (as well as the various spinoffs), Steve-O and the crew have a long history in WWE, one that includes one of the most infamous celebrity appearances in pro wrestling. When asked about a possible return to WWE, he made it seem like he wasn’t down to have a repeat of his last time in the squared circle:

I wouldn’t want to try raising the bar from where I left it the last time I was in the WWE ring. That was the only time I’ve ever been beaten into a blackout by another person.

The motley crew of stunt performers grew up before our eyes, recently returning to theaters with the movie Jackass Forever. One member of the crew Brandon Novak has been sober for eight years, and weighed in on Bam Margera’s addiction troubles. He knows both Bam and the disease, which seemingly gives his thoughts some extra weight.

Over the past few years, Bam Margera has made countless headlines due to legal issues and his public battle with addiction. Fans have watched as Bam broke out of rehabs, while also being arrested for public intoxication. One person who no doubt has an understanding about the complexities of addiction is Brandon Novak, who is another member of the Jackass crew. He recently spoke to Page Six about what Margera has been going through, saying:

I’m praying for him. He is a sick man as I once was, so I understand where he’s at, and I just hope he finds the willingness somewhere in his journey to buy into suggestions that can maybe make his life better.

What a sweet message. Rather than piling on or passing judgement on Bam Margera, Novak instead has a ton of empathy for what his Jackass colleague is going through. He knows firsthand how insidious the disease of addiction is, and seemingly hopes he gets the help necessary to find recovery. After all, he’s living proof that it’s possible.

Brandon Novak’s comments offer an important perspective on what Bam has been going through over the years. Later in his conversation with Page Six, Brandon Novak was asked about where his relationship with Bam currently stands. After all, Margera has been feuding with the likes of Steve-O and Johnny Knoxville. As Novak put it:

We’re not speaking at the moment. He’s kind of in a different place than I am. I’m just waiting for him to become ready and willing, and we’ll be there. And until then, we just kind of live two different lives at the moment.

There you have it. While they’re not in contact, it looks like Novak joins other Jackass members in having concern for Bam. Fans are also concerned, as he never goes more than a few weeks before making new, concerning headlines. And after decades of Jackass, the public has a special connection to the crew.

Now, amid that drama, the entertainer has been arrested once again due to another reported instance of public intoxication.

The 43-year-old Viva La Bam star was reportedly taken into custody on the night of Tuesday, August 8, while he was in Radnor Township, a suburban area within Philadelphia. A source tells local news affiliate NBC10 that the reality TV veteran was drunk and disorderly while at the Radnor Hotel. He’s reportedly set to be released from jail sometime today and will be issued a citation. As of this writing, it’s unclear as to how long the entertainer – who’s been traveling around since exiting rehab in June – had been in Pennsylvania.

As previously alluded to, this isn’t the first time Bam Margera has faced this particular charge, as he was arrested for misdemeanor public intoxication this past March. Margera was, at the time, in Burbank, where he was engaged in a heated argument with a woman at a Thai restaurant. More details on the arrest emerged, and the lady involved was revealed to be his estranged spouse, Nicole Boyd. Margera was allegedly upset over Boyd not allowing him to see their 5-year-old son, Phoenix, which prompted him to stomp and shout. Reports later pointed to Margera having been kicked out of a hotel ahead of that confrontation.

The noted skateboarder has been at the center of other strenuous situations since that ordeal. He reportedly fled the cops in the woods of Pennsylvania only weeks after the restaurant incident. Sources later alleged that his loved ones held an intervention in the aftermath of that March arrest.

Speaking of people who’ve been in the star’s orbit, Steve-O had taken the embattled star on tour with him before the Burbank situation occurred. The Bam's World Domination star eventually broke off, though. His longtime friend, whose full name is Stephen Glover, would later express concern for him through an emotional post. The past few weeks have seen Bam Margera take shots at his old buddies, with the help of a diss track. Margera criticized Glover, Johnny Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine and more. After his skating skills were critiqued, Glover went back and forth with Margera over his blunt sentiments.

The latest public intoxication incident comes mere weeks after the MTV mainstay was ordered to stand trial after allegedly punching his brother, Jess Margera, during an altercation. So that he could stay free on bail, he was also ordered to get a drug and alcohol screening. Jess claimed Bam became upset after seeing a text that suggested he needed mental health assistance. As his anger purportedly escalated, he struck his sibling and, as Jess’ girlfriend tried to call the police, Bam apparently kicked in her door.

There’s currently no indication regarding if or when Philadelphia authorities might release further information on Bam Margera’s latest legal incident. This situation marks another setback for the star, who had apparently been working to get sober and earn the right to see his son on a more consistent basis. How this additional strike on his record impacts the latter remains to be seen.

Jackass Star Wee Man Lays Into Disney Following Backlash Over Snow White’s Seven Dwarfs Casting

Disney continues transforming beloved animated classics into real-world adaptations, with one of the upcoming live-action remakes being Snow White. The adaptation has encountered casting backlash over star Rachel Zegler and the decision not to hire little people for the titular Seven Dwarfs. In a recent interview, Jackass star Wee Man laid into the House of Mouse for the casting decision, stating that it’s a detrimental move for actors with dwarfism.

Leaked photos from the set recently ignited outrage among fans and the dwarfism community, as only one of the stand-ins for the dwarves had dwarfism, while the rest were taller, “average” actors. This casting choice has raised concerns about the limited opportunities for little people in the entertainment industry, even from some people in the industry.

A clip recently went viral on TikTok featuring Jackass stuntman Jason Acuña's full take on the matter. His comments went viral on social media but came from a recent interview with TMZ that spoke to his disapproval of what's been going down. In a passionate critique of the upcoming live-action adaptation, Acuña raises poignant questions about the casting decisions. He expresses concern over little people actors losing out on jobs as they are being replaced with "average people." Addressing the interviewer, he shared his thoughts on the matter, saying:

You’re replacing jobs that people could have as little people. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, it’s for dwarfs. Why are you hiring Snow White and the Seven 'average people?'

The Elf-Man actor not only offers critiques but also presents a solution on how he believes Disney could rectify the situation. According to the performer, Disney should go back to the drawing board and recast the movie. He emphasizes that sometimes you have to take a step back and acknowledge a loss, saying:

They need to redo the movie; recast. Sometimes you have to lose. They lost today. And now they ‘gotta come back better. Make it better, Disney.

Wee Man's comments align with those of Dylan Postl, also known as WWE's Hornswoggle, who has shared his thoughts on the reported character changes in the remake. Postl had spoken out following actor Peter Dinklage's blunt opinions about the Disney movie, calling it a "f***ing backward story.” The Muppets Most Wanted actor disagreed with this perspective and emphasizes there are dwarf actors who dream of being in a major motion picture like Disney's remake. He argued these roles are meant explicitly for actors of his stature and are rarely offered elsewhere. Postl highlighted the potential negative impact of such casting decisions, not only for him but also for other actors with dwarfism, including stunt actors and body doubles.

Interestingly, in the same TMZ interview, Wee Man brought up the upcoming movie Wonka and the fact that oompa loompas, roles originated by dwarf actors, are now being played by the likes of Hugh Grant. The Jackass Forever star had this to say:

Hugh Grant is now playing an Oompa Loompa. So I guess Hugh Grant, you’re now identifying as a little person. Oh, interesting.

Rachel Zegler, set to play Snow White, was previously hounded by paparazzi lurking in the woods, seeking photos of her in action. As a result, unofficial images of the new interpretations of the Princess and her companions have now surfaced, catching the attention of fans and critics alike. Directed by Marc Webb, what we know about Snow White is that the film aims to modernize the timeless fairy tale while preserving the enchantment associated with the entertainment juggernaut’s first animated feature. The early glimpses of these efforts have already sparked significant discussions among little people actors like Wee Man and others in the industry.

We have a bit of a wait to see how the next live-action Disney production will portray the seven fairytale companions–hopefully in a respectful manner. For his part, this is an area where Bam Margera is an expert. While he’s also a TV personality, skateboarding has always been his bread and butter. Which is why he had such a strong reaction to the clips in Steve-O’s compilation. Hopefully these two friends will find a way to come together amidst this drama.

As previously mentioned, Bam Margera seems largely focused on the custody battle he’s having with Nikki Boyd. Bam Margera isn’t exactly chummy with his cohorts from Jackass these days. The 43-year-old stuntman and skateboarder seems to have mostly distanced himself from his longtime co-stars amid continued legal and health issues. Margera has been open about his problems with former colleague Johnny Knoxville. Meanwhile, fellow franchise vet Steve-O tried to extend some help to his troubled buddy by bringing him on tour. Despite making that kind gesture though, he wasn’t excluded when Margera took shots at the cast in a new song.

In June, social media posts surfaced, which showed Bam Margera dissing Johnny Knoxville while recording a track in a studio. It now seems that a song has been formally released and, while it doesn’t appear to be the exact tune that Margera was prepping, it’s no less explicit. The famed skateboarder teamed up with hip hop artists Cult Shotta and Tanboymiguel to produce the new single after reportedly meeting up with them in Los Angeles. This track, titled “Feels Like Bam,” calls out a number of the famed franchise’s alums, including Knoxville, Jason “Wee Man” Acuña and Jeff Tremaine. TMZ offered up an exclusive first look at the music video for the song, in which one can hear the Viva La Bam star’s jabs at his former collaborators. The footage also shows him engaging in PDA with his alleged new girlfriend among other acts. Through the lyrics, the entertainer challenges the Dukes of Hazzard alum to a fight and implores him to “step in the ring, pussy.” On top of that, he accuses the actor of revving up a motorcycle in his house on one occasion. He later calls out Jeff Tremaine, referring to him as a “greedy, fat fucking pussy” who “made us sign a contract that everyone can get hurt except him.” The father of one also says, “I love Steve-O big time” but criticized his skateboarding skills. To put a stamp on his feelings, the amateur rapper said, “man, fuck ‘em all.”

Bam Margera’s new song furthers the idea that his co-stars ruined his career due to their extreme antics on and off camera. That hasn’t been the main source of bad blood amongst the group during the past few years, however. In 2021, it was revealed that Margera had been dropped from 2022’s Jackass Forever after testing positive for Adderall. Margera filed suit against the creative team, including Johnny Knoxville and director Jeff Tremaine. The case was eventually settled in the spring of 2022, though Margera has continuously called out the cast and crew in the aftermath.

He actually challenged Johnny Knoxville to a fight months ago in an Instagram video that went viral. The Bam's Unholy Union’s star said at the time that he wanted to get in the ring with the Reboot alum so that he could “ring, ring, ring, 1-2-3, let’s go, I fuck you up.” Knoxville never publicly responded to the clip and as of right now, has not weighed in on the music video, either.

Steve-O – whose real name is Stephen Glover – has expressed a considerable amount of concern for his longtime friend, which is why he aimed to help with his sobriety by bringing him on his Bucket List Tour. While the arrangement seemed to work for a while, the Bam's World Domination star eventually broke off. He later shared a social media post, which prompted Glover to post (and later delete) an emotional response. He shared several sobering sentiments, but the tone of the message can be summed up with one unfortunate declaration, “You’re dying, brother.”

Jackass is set to return to the small screen with a new production, and many of the series’ veterans are in the mix. Bam Margera, however, seems to have no interest in joining forces with the team again. While that’s apparently been the case for a while now, it’s never been more evident than it is following the creation of that music video.

Bam Margera’s personal struggles have been well documented by this point. The founding Jackass member has reportedly been trying to become sober amid a lengthy battle with addiction. At the same time, he’s also been engulfed in a legal situation with his ex, Nicole Boyd. Amid the drama, Margera’s communication with his and Boyd’s five-year-old son, Phoenix, has been limited. Reports have indicated that the reality TV vet wants to be able to see his son. Now, the latest bit of news on that front suggests that Margera just took a major step forward that could help make a reunion possible.

At the end of June, Bam Margera made an early exit from the rehabilitation center owned by Lamar Odom, who personally invited him to stay. The MTV icon left in order to take a weekend trip to Vegas with some friends. After his departure from rehab, things seemed unclear for the famed stuntman, but it looks like he’s since been productive. RadarOnline reports that on July 17, the 43-year-old completed a parenting class. This was done under the online program Our Children First, which is instituted by the Los Angeles Superior Court. The news outlet obtained a copy of the official certificate of completion, which has Margera’s signature on it.

The site doesn’t share specific details regarding what this means for the skateboarder’s visitation rights moving forward. However, it’s likely that this could have a positive impact on his campaign to re-establish a relationship with Phoenix. The road to a physical meet-up between father and son has been long and, despite this latest development, there are still other hurdles to consider.

From the outside looking in, Bam Margera and Nicole Boyd’s legal situation has been contentious, to say the least. Boyd, who reportedly married her estranged husband in 2013, filed for sole custody of her and Margera’s son in September 2021. She’d file for separation in February 2023, citing erratic behavior on Margera’s part. Around that same time, the star himself said he was “disappointed” over the public comments his spouse had made about his parenting. The following month, Boyd hit back through her attorney, saying that Margera left her and Phoenix with no support.

On top of all this, his ex is suing him for child support and is allegedly asking for $15k per month.

In spite of all the drama, it seemed as though the bad blood was starting to subside during Bam Margera’s latest rehab stint. Nicole Boyd allowed Margera to see their son amid his stay, with the father and son keeping in touch using court-approved FaceTimes. Those interactions were all supervised and, per reports, they were going smoothly.

While those conversations and the recently completed parenting class could certainly bode well for Bam Margera, there are still sure to be legal hurdles he’ll have to cross in the interim. One can only hope that he and Nicole Boyd are able to work out their grievances and create an ideal parenting situation for their son, whatever the arrangement may be.

Johnny Knoxville Talks Jackass Stunts And How They Compare To Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible Work

At first glance, Johnny Knoxville and Tom Cruise may not seem to share much in common. But when it comes to the world of adrenaline-pumping cinema, if you think about it, two franchises stand out for their jaw-dropping real-world stunts and heart-stopping action: Jackass and Mission: Impossible, which is why it's one of the very best action series. While they may seem worlds apart, the Bad Grandpa actor recently opened up about what makes the franchises' similarities as well as the stark differences between the two and how their approaches to stunts diverge.

On the surface, Jackass and Mission:Impossible definitely share a common thread of extreme stunts and death-defying feats performed by their stars. Tom Cruise’s most ridiculous M:I stunts have more in common with the bull stunt that left Johnny Knoxville with permanent brain damage than you might realize. However, The Ringer actor emphasized that there is a fundamental distinction between the two series, and it comes down to failure. While chatting with the A.V. Club, he explained:

Our stunts are designed to fail. I think his [stunts] have to succeed.

Fair enough. The stuntman’s comments make sense, given that Ethan Hunt’s extraordinary feats are designed to leave audiences in awe, while the Jackass crew’s shenanigans are more like cartoon set pieces designed for laughs. So by their very nature, if they don’t work out so well for our heroes, that’s a plus. But if the Top Gun star makes a mistake, it's doubtful audiences would even see the footage while, for the gang of ruffian MTV alums, that’s sort of the point.

In the "as of now" released six Mission: Impossible films, with the seventh hitting theaters this week, the 60-year-old Jerry Maguire actor certainly gives it his all when bringing the big-budget action movie set pieces to the silver screen. However, as real as the antics of the IMF agents seem, the film still employs movie magic like CGI, a tool that isn’t in the budget and would seem inappropriate in the world of Jackass. And according to Johnny Knoxville, gravity is also a contributing factor when it comes to his stunts:

Gravity, really, is the difference. Gravity and Newton’s Third Law of Motion really come into it.

Still, game recognizes game, and the Reboot alum tips his hat to Tom Cruise. The performer gave it up to Cruise and his need for speed while being on camera, saying:

To his credit, he does more stunts than any other Hollywood actor. He’s really trying and going for it, so more power to him. It’s just we do different things.

While Johnny Knoxville has suffered several injuries on camera, luckily, the most gruesome accident that has occurred to Tom Cruise is the gnarly ankle break during the filming of the sixth M:I adventure. And hopefully, with the second half of the Hollywood A-listers swan song to the series right around the corner, it'll remain that way and failure doesn't come into the equation as well.

Steve-O Was Detained By Police After Jumping Off The Tower Of London Bridge, And The Pictures Are Fantastic

It's almost hard to believe it, but the Jackass crew has been entertaining audiences for over two decades. They recently returned to the big screen with Jackass Forever, which was a major hit. And even when they're not filming a movie, it seems that the crew can't help but get into trouble. Case in point: Steve-O was detained by police after jumping off the Tower Of London Bridge. And the pictures are fantastic.

Steve-O has been making plenty of headlines lately, partly thanks to his complicated relationship with Jackass co-star Bam Margera. But he's also got his own career, which includes an upcoming comedy special. He jumped off the Tower of London Bridge for that project with nothing but an umbrella, and promptly was arrested. I mean, how wild is that? Obviously Steve-O is no stranger to wild stunts, given his decades putting his body in danger for Jackass fans everywhere. This is another wild one for the books, and one that is no doubt going to be fun to watch during his forthcoming comedy special. Although I have to wonder what the legal expenses might be for Steve-O's return to the U.K..

Steve-O posted the above photo dump for his 6.7 million followers on Instagram. The caption (and images) show that he was ultimately detained by the police for his stunt, although he seems to have no ill-will for the officers who were just doing their job. Talk about some great free publicity for the comedy special.

Steve-O also shared some video before and after the stunt on his Instagram Story. We can see him in the process of being arrested, although he didn't exactly looked concerned. Check out a screenshot of said video below:

It seems like Steve-O is using his arrest to encourage fans to come to the live taping of his comedy special. While the stunt was obviously pre-recorded, he'll be doing his comedy set in front of a live audience. And as such, he needs butts in the seats in order to make the special into a reality. Let's just hope he doesn't play any wild pranks on the folks in the audience.

Many eyes have been on Bam Margera as of late, as the actor has been battling professional and personal problems. The past year has seen him bounce in and out of rehab, as he struggles with sobriety. He most recently checked out of a facility in California early in order to go to Las Vegas. Amid his exploits, a number of fans and those close to Margera have expressed concern about his well being. One of the latest people to express concern for him is his fellow Jackass alum Steve-O, who’s provided support for Margera amid his troubles.

Steve-O is no stranger to addiction, as he actually struggled with alcoholism for years. Thankfully, the fan-favorite stuntman finally got sober with the help of his friends and has kept away from liquor for over a decade now. With that, he’s been seeking to provide that same level of support for Bam Margera. Unfortunately, those efforts haven’t been so successful up to this point. The media personality, whose actual name is Stephen Glover, discussed his longtime buddy while speaking with NME. Glover expressed his desire for his friend to get help while sharing thoughts on his actions:

I would love to hear something encouraging, that he’s decided to stop blaming all of his problems on other people. I owe everything to my sobriety, and I really made an effort to encourage Bam to choose sobriety. It’s a shame that you can’t make people want to get better. He’s not going to get better because I want him to get better, and I can’t make him want to get better. If he ever does choose recovery then, man, I’m here for him.

Earlier this year, the former clown actually brought his friend on his Bucket List Tour with him and explained that he did so out of concern for him. The Viva La Bam star eventually broke off, though, and subsequently participated in more reckless behavior. Steve-O later penned (and deleted) an emotional message meant for his friend, in which he stated his belief that he’s “dying.” Despite that, the more recent comments he made suggest that he’s still holding out hope that the skateboarder might turn things around.

Aside from the Jackass star, members of the Margera family have also shown concern for Bam. His older brother, Jess, spoke out weeks ago, while his brother was missing. It was at that time that he asked for assistance in locating his sibling. Their mother, April, got candid as well, saying that she and her family only want to help Bam. Odom responded to the decision and seemed worried about the company that the MTV vet has been keeping.

The 43-year-old is currently in the process of divorcing his ex, Nicole Boyd and has apparently been seeking to connect with his son, Phoenix. The bad blood between the star and Boyd did seem to subside while he was in rehab, and he was even having Zoom chats with their son. However, now that he’s out of the facility, it’s unclear where things stand on that front.

Few people have attempted some of the wild stunts that Jackass legend Steve-O has participated in. He swallowed a live goldfish and vomited it back out and was launched into the air while in a port-a-potty attached to bungee cords, among other things. Some might assume that the stunt performer and former clown is simply a madman. That couldn’t be further from the truth, as he’s very cerebral when it comes to his and his cohorts’ undertakings. He recently got honest about what it was like watching Johnny Knoxville’s bull stunt, which unfortunately left him with brain damage.

Jackass Forever was the production in which the major moment took place. The scene, which saw Johnny Knoxville enter the ring to match wits with the beast, is considered one of the film’s biggest sequences. However, it proved to be somewhat costly for the star, as he reportedly suffered a concussion, brain hemorrhage, broken wrist and broken rib. Knoxville seems to be doing alright now, but that’s a lot to give of yourself for a movie from a physical standpoint. Steve-O has seen his longtime friend take on a ton of challenges, but it sounds like he was really affected by the sight of his buddy getting taken down by:

This last Jackass movie… it was kind of a bummer, man. It’s not fun to watch Knoxville get hit in the head any more. It’s very sweet of the 49-year-old star, whose actual name is Stephen Glover, to show such concern, and it’s not all that surprising, either. He’s shown support for his co-stars on a number of occasions, even recently helping fellow series alum Bam Margera, who toured with him. Glover even penned an emotional message to Margera amid his continued struggles with sobriety. One can understand his thoughts on the animal-centric feat as well. He clearly knows that his colleague has put himself through a lot over the years and, as a result, Glover views stunts like that differently at this point.

Steve-O’s also been looking over his own material and seems to have mixed feelings about that as well. Later in his interview with NME, he singled out one particular moment from the 2022 movie, and it involves Machine Gun Kelly. He and MGK got knocked into a swimming pool by a giant hand while riding bikes. While that may sound entertaining on paper and may even look extreme, the Barely Lethal alum wasn’t all that impressed:

The ongoing relationship between former NBA star Lamar Odom and Jackass standout Bam Margera has taken a dark turn. Margera has made numerous headlines lately duke to his personal issues, from his ex cutting off contact with their son after a screaming incident went viral to Margera being placed on psychiatric hold. Along the way, Odom reached out to Margera and offered him help, specifically in the form of a spot at one of his rehab centers. And Margera took him up on the offer… only now, it appears that Margera has left the facility, and Odom is concerned.

Lamar Odom has spoken out to TMZ about Bam Margera’s situation, especially after the Jackass star turned himself over to authorities. Odom immediately wondered if Margera had God in his life, though the TMZ reporter didn’t have an answer to that question. In that earlier video, Odom said the facility is waiting for Bam, just so long as he shows up. But now there has been a report that Margera left the San Diego rehab facility early, and Odom is expressing concerns over the people who are influencing the Jackass star.

News came out that after Bam Margera left Lamar Odom’s treatment facility in San Diego, he headed to Las Vegas, thereby sparking a number of Odom’s concerns. This is not the first time that Margera has checked into a rehabilitation facility to seek treatment, only to quickly depart. In 2022, Margera went missing after leaving a rehab center in Florida. He eventually was found and returned to the rehab center, only to leave the facility again.

In the TMZ article, Lamar Odom goes on to recommend a method that Margera’s loved ones can possibly use to lure the former skater back, and that’s his son, Phoenix. While this isn’t the safest method, as Margera has stated that he’d be willing to smoke crack until his son wa returned to him. All of this comes on the heels of Margera being arrested for domestic violence accusations, getting himself a face tattoo, and constantly feuding with Jackass lead Johnny Knoxville.

If Bam Margera follows his most recent patterns, he will return from Las Vegas and return, as well, to Lamar Odom, who has made it clear he is willing to help Margera, so long as the former skater wants to be helped. According to the TMZ article, which remains open-ended, Odom has said that he will start the process of reaching out to Margera and helping to find him. The NBA star and former husband to Khloe Kardashian says that he personally understands the struggle to stay sober.

Bam Margera has been making headlines frequently as of late due to his continued personal problems. The Jackass co-founder has been dealing with sobriety and alleged addiction issues and been entangled in a legal dispute with his former partner, Nicole Boyd. The former stuntman was recently admitted to a rehab center owned by Lamar Odom after being invited by the former athlete. Margera was later said to be making progress with detoxing and easing the bad blood with Boyd. However, reportedly left early in order to take a trip to Las Vegas. While it seemed that Margera was eager to make his way to “Sin City,” he apparently carved out a little time to diss former co-star Johnny Knoxville again.

Evidently, the 43-year-old media personality was recently in a studio, where he was recording an explicit tune. The track in question revolved around his (seemingly one-sided) beef with Johnny Knoxville. Music producer ZVBBV was the one who shared footage of the MTV alum in the studio recording the apparent diss track. The producer’s video post was shared to his Instagram story (and captured by UNILAD). A caption also appears at the beginning of the clip and simply says, “Bam Margera going crazy.”

While the post was still live, a number of fans weighed in on it, expressing concern for the Viva La Bam alum’s mental health, as mentioned by UNILAD. The site quoted one user from Reddit, who said “honestly breaks my heart to see this.” And another stated that “he needs better friends.” A third person provided even more detailed thoughts aimed at ZVBBV. The social media user said “hopefully you don't take advantage of this dude and let those around him take advantage him.” In response, the music producer said:

We're absolutely not. We thought it would be fun to have him try something sober and that he doesn't do regularly.

The father of one may be known primarily for being a reality TV star, skateboarder and filmmaker, some may not be aware of the fact that he also has some musical experience. He’s directed videos for a number of bands, and he also founded the short-lived Filthy Note Records label. He’s also played a couple of instruments in his time, specifically guitar and keyboard, the latter of which he played for the novelty band Gnarkill.

While it’s admittedly rare that you’ll find Bam Margera in a studio recording fresh tracks, it’s become somewhat more common to see him beefing with Johnny Knoxville. Margera and Knoxville were entangled in a legal battle involving the latter’s exclusion from Jackass Forever back in 2021. Margera was reportedly dropped after testing positive for taking Adderall and ultimately filed a lawsuit against his former cohorts. Ultimately, said case was settled by the spring of 2022. Since then though, Margera has continued to call out Knoxville, even daring him to a fight in a video posted to social media months ago.

Many have been concerned about Bam Margera’s well being during this time, including his family, fans and some fellow Jackass alums. What ends up happening with his trip to Vegas remains to be seen. One would hope that the excursion won’t lead to any negative consequences for him or his entourage.

Bam Margera, the embattled founding member of Jackass, continues to make headlines due to his ongoing personal and legal issues. In regard to the former, the star had been sharing concerning social media posts, while his family was simultaneously unable to locate him. Margera’s brother, Jess, eventually reached out to fans to ask for their help finding him and, earlier this week, authorities caught up with him in Los Angeles. As it stands, Bam is under a psychiatric hold due to exhibiting erratic behavior, which allegedly included suicide threats. Now, Jess has provided an update on what might lie ahead for the reality TV veteran when he’s no longer 5150’d.

Sources have said that the 43-year-old father of one is currently staying in a rehabilitation facility, though it’s unclear if he’s actually receiving treatment at this time. He could receive assistance soon, however, based on the comments that Jess Margera shared with Page Six. The CKY drummer explained that his younger sibling might be moving to another rehab facility, and it just happens to be run by a certain former athlete:

[Police] found him, and I believe he is going to Lamar Odom’s new treatment facility. Or at least they’re trying.

Lamar Odom recently invested in three rehab centers located in Lemon Grove, El Cajon and San Diego. This is an investment that apparently means a lot to the former basketball player, as he himself has battled addiction. In 2013, he was arrested for driving while under the influence and, in 2015, the two-time NBA champion nearly died from a drug overdose. So having now moved past his hang-ups, Odom seems set on giving back and helping others who are in the position he was once in.

This marks the second time that Bam Margera has been mentioned in the same breath as the Los Angeles Lakers veteran. Margera was offered a bed at his new facility, with the former husband of Khloé Kardashian saying that he would “reach out [his] hand” to the stuntman at this time. Margera reached back out to him and said that he does want “help,” though he didn’t admit himself to the center after that.

The star has had various stints in rehab over the past few years and, in some cases, he even departed the locations of his own accord and was dubbed missing. Just about every time that happened, he was eventually found and returned to said facility. It can’t be said for sure if he'll indeed take up residence at one of Lamar Odom’s wellness centers. However, there may not be too many options on the table, as Jess Margera says his brother doesn’t want to go to the Betty Ford clinic because staffers allegedly “yelled at him for smoking.”

Bam Margera’s family and friends have shown a considerable amount of concern for him during this time. His mother, April, spoke out while he was missing and stated that his loved ones wanted to help him and not hurt him. Jess has also been candid about his brother’s alleged meth addiction, which has apparently left him “unrecognizable” and unpredictable.

Bam Margera has unfortunately been facing a number of issues as of late. Reports have been swirling about the Jackass alum battling addiction and dealing with his divorce from former partner Nikki Boyd, who he shares a child with. More recently, he’s made concerning comments (some of which have been chronicled on social media) and was reportedly missing. This past weekend, his older brother, Jess, reached out to fans on social media to ask for help locating him. Now, Bam has been found and placed on psychiatric hold.

It was believed that the former reality TV star was going to Los Angeles, and that’s where authorities ultimately caught up with him, according to TMZ. The LAPD located the 44-year-old Sunday afternoon at Trejos’ Tacos. Apparently, law enforcement was able to track him down using his phone. When he was found, the MTV alum apparently acted erratically. Those purported actions are what led the police to determine that he needed to be put under a 5150 hold.

Insiders say that Bam Margera was taken to a mental health facility, and it’s currently unclear as to whether he’s receiving treatment. The law stipulates that he can be detained there for at least 72 hours. As mentioned, Margera made some alarming statements over the past week, even threatening to smoke crack until he died in one social media post. In that same update, he also blamed his ex’s family for his drinking problem, and the message garnered a counter argument from Nikki Boyd’s lawyer. He’s also said to have made disturbing calls to his loved ones while he was missing in April.

The Viva La Bam star has been in and out of rehab over the past year. He was at a facility in Florida when he went missing in June 2022 and, less than two weeks later, he disappeared again only to be returned to the center shortly after. Aside from his frequent stints in wellness centers, he’s also dealt with a number of health issues. He was reported to be in the hospital and on a ventilator after contracting COVID-19 in December 2022. The star would later admit that at one point, he was “declared dead.”

Bam Margera Demands His Divorce Be Dismissed, Claims His Estranged Wife Won’t Let Him See His Son

His more recent behavior has seemingly been most concerning to his friends, family and fans. Bam Margera challenged Johnny Knoxville to a fight back in April, recording the “dare” in a video that was shared to social media. Fellow Jackass alum Steve-O attempted to help his old friend but eventually seemed to wash his hands of him. After another post went live, the stuntman – whose full name is Stephen Glover – wrote an emotional message in which he asserted that his “brother” is “dying.”

The Margera family has been vocal during this time as well. Over a month before putting out an APB for his younger sibling, Jess spoke about the star’s alleged meth addiction. In Jess’ estimation, his brother has become “unrecognizable” and unpredictable due to his habit. The boys’ mother, April, reached out as well, saying that she and their relatives “love him so much” and “just want to help him.”

Only time will tell how long Bam Margera remains in the rehabilitation facility, as there’s always a possibility that his stay could be extended. Bam Margera has solidified himself as something of a pop culture staple due to his status as one of the original members of MTV’s beloved stunt show, Jackass. That’s one of the reasons why some have likely been sad to see him experience so many personal issues in recent years. As of late, Margera has been struggling to stay sober and is currently engaged in divorce proceedings with his ex, Nikki Boyd. Just a few days ago, the stuntman posted an alarming social media video in which he discussed his drinking problem and blamed his wife’s family for it. (Boyd’s lawyer later responded.) Now, Margera’s brother is speaking out, as he’s hoping that the public will help him locate the 43-year-old star.

Jess Margera is one of several people who’s been attempting to look out for Bam’s well-being as of late. Based on a message he shared to Twitter early Sunday, it would appear that Jess has no idea where his brother is right now. The CKY drummer was direct when reaching out to fans for help on social media. And per the post, it’s urgent that he locate Bam as quickly as possible:

If anyone in the LA area knows of bams current whereabouts or a hotel he might be at please call the LAPD immediately. It’s unfortunate to say, but this is far from the first time that Bam Margera has gone missing during the past year or so. He vanished following a rehab stint in Florida back in June 2022 and was found soon after and returned to the facility. Margera then went missing again less than two weeks later and, after nearly a week, he returned to the rehabilitation center. Most recently, the reality TV star disappeared in April, though he later turned himself in. There are still plenty of questions surrounding this latest retreat, though a social media post captured by TMZ placed him in Pennsylvania, and sources claimed he was about to make his way to L.A.

Jess Margera posted about his brother in April, when he got candid about his alleged meth addiction. Per the older Margera sibling, Bam “really is the sweetest guy when he isn’t messed up” and, due to the supposed drug habit, “[he’s] unrecognizable.” Jess also stressed that he doesn’t know what his little brother is “capable of” at this point. Their mother, April, spoke out around that same time, saying that Bam’s family members love him and “are not against him" but "just want to try to get him help."

At present, Bam Margera’s relationship with his co-stars also appears to be strained. Steve-O attempted to help him stay sober by taking him on tour, but to no avail. The stuntman and author later penned an emotional message to his longtime buddy. Margera also still seems to have beef with Johnny Knoxville following the Jackass Forever lawsuit. The Jackass crew have become well-known figures in the public eye over the years. However, in recent years, Bam Margera, one of the founding members, has often made headlines for all the wrong reasons. His legal troubles and conflicts with fellow cast members such as Johnny Knoxville -- not to mention his struggles with substance abuse -- have kept him in the spotlight. Currently, the star is embroiled in a highly publicized divorce with his ex, Nikki Boyd. Recently, he took to social media to express his frustration, prompting a response from Boyd's attorney, who shed light on the situation and addressed his behavior.

In an emotionally charged rant shared on social media, Margera lashed out at his ex and his own family, attributing his drinking problem to their actions. He revealed the pain of not being able to communicate with his son on a daily basis has only added to his distress. In response, Boyd's lawyer, David Glass, spoke out through TMZ, stating:

Unfortunately, that’s not how the addictions work. People’s behavior does not drive others to drink. Bam's legal team claims that Nikki has even denied them the opportunity to communicate over FaceTime. Recently, she filed legal documents seeking sole physical and legal custody of their kid, accompanied by a request for $15,000 per month in child support. According to the filing, visitation would only be considered under supervised conditions and contingent upon completing drug and alcohol rehab programs. However, the TV and movie star's reaction to the situation has been explosive, and he's been demanding access to his son.

Apart from the ongoing custody battle, Bam Margera is entangled in a feud with his brother, Jess Margera. Jess accused Bam of making threatening calls, engaging in harassment, and physically assaulting him at his residence in Pennsylvania. As a result, Bam has been prohibited from entering the property. In a series of tweets, Jess also asserted his brother has been experiencing delusions and "hallucinations" due to a meth addiction.

It’s been twenty-three years since the Jackass crew turned into overnight stars thanks to their hit MTV show, and while interest in the guys remains high, especially after last year’s terrific Jackass Forever, that doesn’t mean things haven’t changed over the last two decades. If you’re looking for evidence of that, I present to you Steve-O’s last social media post.

The beloved daredevil turned sobriety advocate hit up his Instagram this weekend to hype his upcoming tour of The United Kingdom. To help generate some awareness and also presumably to have a little fun down memory lane, the star repackaged some footage of him visiting England twenty years ago. I love the contrast of the wild, much younger Steve-O living it up in a blaze of glory and the older, more mature Steve-O with his glasses and flannel shirt talking about how it was twenty years ago. Fortunately for fans, while the Jackass star has gotten older and wiser, that doesn’t mean he’s turned his back on his death-defying roots. The reality star still tours the world talking about his exploits and as anyone who watched Jackass Forever can tell you, he still goes just as hard on the shenanigans as he did when he was much younger, though with some limits.

Not all of the other Jackass stars are completely sober like Steve-O, but on the whole, most seem to have found a nice balance between maturing and still remaining a madman at heart. That really shows through during the appearances they do together, and it unfortunately makes some of longtime co-star Bam Margera’s struggles feel that much more apart from the rest of the crew. The CKY veteran and Jackass pioneer has toured with Steve-O some in the past to the delight of fans, but unfortunately, he’s been dealing with some issues recently and isn’t expected to make the trip across the pond. Hopefully he’s able to get his life together enough to start making appearances with Steve-O and others again.

As for the current tour itself, it’s called The Bucket List, and it’s making its way around the world. It’s a multi-media comedy event that’s a reflection on how far stunts have gone, and Steve-O’s take on his career and personal life. There are stops all over Australia in early May, and he’ll be headed to The UK in late June and July. Tickets are available for the newly announced shows, though many sell out prior so consider getting your reservations in now. I’d advise picking them up. It should be a tremendous time.

Bam Margera's Mother Speaks Out As Police Continue Their Search For The Jackass Star

Former pro skateboarder and Jackass star Brandon “Bam” Margera is currently being pursued by the Pennsylvania state police after he reportedly punched his brother and fled from authorities into the woods Sunday morning. He is currently wanted on charges of simple assault, harassment and making terroristic threats. As the search continues for Margera, his mother April Margera has shared her thoughts on her son’s latest run-in with the law.

Bam Margera’s brother Jesse alleged in a police complaint that he was awoken on Sunday to “banging and kicking” on his door by Bam before finding a handwritten note that said "If you even fucking think of calling the police on me I will officially fuck you up.” Then, Jesse found Bam in the kitchen urinating in his sink before he claims Bam punched him in the face. When police arrived, Bam left from the rear of the property on foot into a densely wooded area. In a Tuesday interview with Fox News, their mother said this of the incident:

We all love him so much, and we just want to help him, and we are not against him… We just want to try to get him help.

The former Jackass star has been arrested multiple times recently, between a public intoxication arrest in late March where he was allegedly meeting his ex-wife and his son at a restaurant while drunk. Earlier that month, Margera was also arrested on domestic violence charges after a woman claimed he kicked her, and then he was later kicked out of a Hollywood hotel for similar concerns. Per his mother, he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and is currently off his medication. She is hoping he’ll turn a corner, but is worried following the most recent incident leaving Margera missing.

It was previously reported that his loved ones staged an intervention for him after his recent arrest, as Margera has long struggled with addiction and been in and out of rehab. In April Margera’s recent comments, she recalled when he was in rehab in Florida, she and his other family and friends got to see the “sweet” and “generous” side of him, and she is fighting for that part of her son back. As she also shared:

He just needs to settle down and get it straight, and I think it's just hard for him to do without being on his medication and trying to wrangle him. We just want him to get better. I mean, the things that he's doing are not criminal in his mind. He just thinks he's running away from his troubles.

At the time of the interview, April Margera said that she “truly” has no idea where her son could be and is hoping he will call someone or someone will spot him somewhere.
