Kristin Cavallari has been a public figure since she was in high school, when MTV camera crews documented her and her friends’ lives for the reality show Laguna Beach (and later The Hills). As it tends to happen with many celebrities, Cavallari ended up having to endure a pretty public breakup, divorcing ex-NFL quarterback Jay Cutler in 2020. Looking back on that time, the TV personality discussed how the stress of their relationship affected her physical health, and she dropped an F-bomb as she recalled how much weight she lost.

On her podcast Let’s Be Honest, Kristin Cavallari addressed a fan’s comment that she looked very thin on her reality show Very Cavallari, which aired on E! from 2018 to 2020. She responded that those later years of her marriage — she and Jay Cutler were together for 10 years, married for seven — were very difficult for her, and she just happened to be living them in front of the reality show cameras. She revealed just how much she weighed, telling listeners: 

The Hills star said the problem wasn’t that she wasn’t eating, but that she was in such an unhappy place. She even dropped an F-bomb as she recalled the toll all the stress took on her body. She continued: 

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler’s divorce was full of contention, with the fashion designer citing “inappropriate marital conduct” as the reason for the split, and there were rumors that the former quarterback had cheated on her with an ex-friend. Reports at the time alleged that Cutler often made Cavallari cry on the Very Cavallari set, and it’s therefore no surprise that she chose to quit the reality show when the breakup went down.

Today Kristin Cavallari says she’s walking around with a little more meat on her bones, and she seems much happier with the way she looks and feels. She said she’s incorporated heavy weights into her workouts, and she’s pretty consistent about lifting four to five times a week, with a little cardio sprinkled in.

She seems to be all about the body positivity, too, as she took part in last year’s black bikini trend with a stunning social media post that basically dared trolls to come at the mother of three. 

It’s hard to hear about the hard times Kristin Cavallari’s been through and how the stress affected her, but thankfully the 37-year-old seems to be thriving now with her new boyfriend, 24-year-old TikToker Mark Estes.

Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari decided over two years ago to end their marriage, and lots of opinions have been shared since then regarding what went wrong. Cheating allegations have followed the former NFL quarterback after Cavallari’s combative divorce papers cited “inappropriate marital conduct,” and viewers of Very Cavallari had some vicious comments at the time about not being surprised by the split. The Back to the Beach podcast host recently spoke about her relationship again, prompting a response from her ex that her complaints were “comical.”

Kristin Cavallari went on the Call Her Daddy podcast, where she discussed the end of her relationship with Jay Cutler, which ended in 2020 after seven years of marriage and 10 years together. While she said “nothing major happened at the end,” she did call their marriage “toxic,” and the retired quarterback said on the Sofia With an F podcast that he doesn’t know why they still need to be sharing these thoughts publicly two years later. Cutler said:

Jay Cutler refused to “go down that road,” not wanting to air their dirty laundry for the sake of their three children. He said at some point they’re going to read about these comments and have questions, and he doesn’t understand why it’s still being brought up. Kristin Cavallari also acknowledged their children when she spoke about the marriage, saying that their oldest on now Googles their names, so she has to be careful about what she says. 

Cheating allegations have followed the couple since even before they split. On Season 3 of Kristin Cavallari’s reality show Very Cavallari, she openly discussed the rumors that Jay Cutler had cheated with her former best friend Kelly Henderson. Despite infidelity not being specifically mentioned in The Hills actress’ divorce allegations, Cutler found himself again denying the rumors, saying on the podcast: 

The former Chicago Bear may not be willing to straight-up bad-mouth his ex-wife, but his frustration with the situation is more than apparent in his cheeky "stay tuned" comment and others. Both parties clearly have their three kids in mind, but it doesn’t seem like they agree on what’s best kept just between the two of them. 

The two haven’t always been at odds amid their split, to be sure. Kristin Cavallari has revealed that they actually dated again after divorcing, as she said their breakup wasn’t a matter of not loving each other anymore. In the end, dating again proved that they’d made the right decision by splitting up, and they were not going to be together long-term. Hopefully they can come to enough of an understanding to keep doing what’s best for their children. And now we await any and all rebuttals...

This is Very Cavallari of Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler. The former Hills star and ex-NFL player had a second wind of prominence with their E! reality series, which ran for three seasons. Fans saw them procure llamas and wisecrack at the other's expense, but their arguments caught on camera seemed to pave the way for their divorce announcement last year. Apparently, though, the former couple were still willing to try some out of the box ideas together – because Cavallari shared that they actually tried dating again not so long ago.

In the interim of their divorce being held up (reportedly due to asset disagreements), the two are said to have been dating around. Kristin Cavallari was, at one point, linked to a Southern Charm star during the show’s involvement in A-Rod’s alleged love affairs. But she’s now supposedly dating country music singer Chase Rice. Meanwhile, her ex has been thought to be dating country music singer Jana Kramer following her own messy divorce to an ex NFL player. But this was all seemingly after the couple had tried saving their own marriage from divorce. While on the Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe podcast, Cavallari revealed:

The revelation goes some way to explaining those Halloween pics from last year. Along with their three kids, she and Jay Cutler had posed together for the festivities, dressed as a unicorn and prisoner respectively, which had sparked rumors that they were attempting to reconcile. But it was apparently all for naught or just a co-parenting endeavor because only a month later, Cutler was posting on social media about hanging out with Shannon Ford, who was infamously fired by his ex on Season 2 of Very Cavallari.

On the surface, the move may not seem like the best idea for a couple attempting to make headway in their relationship. But their marriage has reportedly seen even bumpier days, with rumors indicating that Jay Cutler’s calleged affairs are what led to the divorce. Rumors of which the two have attempted to squash in the past.

The supposed “curse of reality TV” is that oftentimes a relationship cannot live to survive it because a couple finally sees itself laid bare. Such has been the case for Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, the latter of whom has complained of a “difference of opinions” and joked that she didn’t like ex’s personality while hosting SNL. And it’s so common within the Real Housewives universe that even a whisper of a vow renewal is akin to hearing the proverbial nail in the coffin. Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler, despite all their best efforts it would seem, are now in the same company, too.

Former power couple Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari still aren’t divorced yet, more than a year after they announced their split. That’s not strange for celebrities who sometimes take many years to officially untie all the knots, but it’s a bit surprising for these two since they seemed to be handling things very well. She got some new tattoos. He binged Yellowstone. Just normal, healthy break-up stuff. Unfortunately, months after they reportedly worked out a custody agreement and even posed for a picture together, the proceedings have allegedly hit a snag over whether he will retain any ownership over the brand she launched.

Now, everything related to divorces should be consumed with a bit of skepticism considering the hurt feelings and potential monetary swings that are in play, but according to TMZ, the forward progress related to the split has slowed considerably because he’s allegedly asking for half of Uncommon James. Cavallari launched the jewelry and apparel line in 2017 while they were still married and because of that, he’s supposedly asking for fifty percent of the company as part of the divorce. She allegedly feels like he shouldn’t get anything since he didn’t work on the brand or put any of his own money into it.

It’s hard to imagine former Bears quarterback Jay Cutler wanting to sit in at Uncommon James meetings moving forward and giving his opinion on the new Wanderlust Hoop Earrings. More likely his lawyer wants the brand thrown into the official assets because it increases the total value of the pile when everything is split up. Or maybe he just thinks the company has huge long-term potential and he wants a stake so he gets paid when it further explodes in popularity. Or maybe this is an intentional leak from Kristin Cavallari’s camp to make him look a certain kind of way. You just never know when it comes to divorce stuff.

Regardless, Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari seem like they’re definitely splitting, which is a huge shame considering the hope they gave fans when they dropped a Halloween picture together. There was something that just worked in a really odd, opposites attract, off-beat kind of way, and many fans of her reality show Very Cavallari couldn’t get enough, even though the split didn't exactly come out of nowhere. Also, on a personal level, I also couldn't get enough of their relationship. As a Bears fan and Cutler apologist who grew up watching Laguna Beach, they had everything I wanted out of a celebrity couple.

Your guess is as good as mine where things go from here, but I think I speak for everyone when I say if these two aren’t getting back together, I hope they at least find common ground to stop fighting and get back to doing the things they love. For her, that appears to be working on her jewelry brand and crushing reality television. For him, that appears to be taking photos with animals and rocking an all-time great DGAF face.

Most of us probably had a long year last year, but to be completely honest if any celebrity had a particularly long year, Kristin Cavallari would be at the top of the list. She split from her famous NFL quarterback ex Jay Cutler in the middle of a pandemic, then had to deal with a slew of rumors, including one related to a former pal from her Laguna Beach days. That wasn’t all, as the online rumor mill just kept getting stoked. She’s addressed it though, shortly after turning 34.

This past week, both Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari took a stand against the Internet rumors, doing so through a matching post on both of their Instagram accounts. You can see Cavallari’s below, and just note Cutler’s had a different image but the same caption.

Unfortunately, this did little to quell the vicious Internet rumors cycle, a cycle Jay Cutler has also not been immune to as both he and his ex dealt with rumors related to their split. Cutler, for his part, also dealt with dating rumors after stirring the pot and hanging out with a woman Kristin Cavallari’s fired. After the two decided to drop their matching posts which featured the comment “The world is full of users. 10 years. Can’t break that,” people obviously simply started speculating the former couple was making a second go of things.

In this case, even if I was hanging out with my ex and trying to put a stop to malicious rumors, this probably would not have been the way I went about it, but according to Kristin Cavallari, most of the time she’s living her best life. On Instagram Stories previously, the Uncommon James businesswoman said her “kids put everything into perspective,” also noting:

Kristin Cavallari’s split from Jay Cutler was pretty contentious, at least where the filed paperwork was concerned. In addition, there were stories about how we maybe should have seen the divorce coming and more, but at the end of the day the two are still co-parenting together and seemingly putting their best feet forward. Now, we're in a new year, Kristin Cavallari just hit her 34th birthday milestone, and the times they are a-changin.' These days it sounds like she has no time for the haters.

From Kristin Cavallari’s end, it sounds as if the split was the correct thing for all involved and maybe sometime soon both she and her ex will be able to step back and breathe a little more. Or maybe her next move will be to jump back into the world of reality TV. You never know when celebs are involved.

The public saga of Very Cavallari star Kristin Cavallari's divorce from former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler has taken another turn. Although the exes celebrated at least part of Halloween together (in costume) with their kids, Cutler revealed that he has been hanging out with somebody that Very Cavallari fans will remember well, and not because she was a stellar employee of Cavallari's. Shannon Ford was fired by Cavallari back in early Season 2, and now she's hanging with her former boss's former husband.

Jay Cutler himself revealed the rendezvous via social media, and Shannon Ford's appearance at a cozy-looking dinner has effectively stirred the pot on social media. Take a look at the video that Cutler shared on Instagram:

Jay Cutler apparently hit the town to enjoy some oysters and wine with none other than Shannon Ford, who was memorably fired by Kristin Cavallari in the second season of what would be the three-season run of Very Cavallari on E!. Although they look pretty comfortable, they're not alone with each other. Cutler's pal Mark "Chuy" Block was on hand to share a "cheers" with Cutler and Ford as well.

All things considered, it's probably safe to say that this pot-stirring video isn't a sign that any sparks are flying between Jay Cutler and Shannon Ford. Back in October, Ford celebrated her three-year anniversary with musician John Gurney with some vacation pictures on Instagram.

More recently, Shannon Ford celebrated her birthday by posting a photo of her with John Gurney, and Gurney posted an image with Ford on his own social media account just days ago. Cutler may have generated some buzz for hanging with somebody who may be best known for being fired by his ex wife, but this presumably wasn't a date.

Of course, Kristin Cavallari arguably stirred the pot herself when she dropped a very cozy photo of herself with former Laguna Beach flame Stephen Colletti on social media, and Jay Cutler actually quit Instagram for a time in August after Cavallari's post went viral. He didn't stay gone, however, as he was back before the end August to post about Paramount's Yellowstone. He also used social media to debunk rumors that he was dating political commentator Tomi Lahren.

The Instagram discourse when it comes to Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari actually began much earlier this year, when Jay Cutler seemingly posted a Mother's Day image and message for Cavallari. Then fans got to talking, and rumors spread that Cavallari actually ran Cutler's account, and therefore congratulated herself.

Going through a divorce can be one of the most tumultuous and stressful experiences that two people can deal with, especially when there are young children involved. Thankfully, not every couple has to deal with chaotic and hateful relationship aftermath, and some – such as Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler – are able to keep things amicable for the sake of their three kids. For a lovely example of their peacekeeping, Cavallari and Cutler reunited over the weekend in order to celebrate Halloween in style. Or if not in style, at least in costume.

While Jay Cutler is likely just rocking a more generic prisoner costume, I like to think he's dressed as the Ham-Bear-gular. (Because he was quarterback for the Chicago Bears for the majority of his NFL career, of course.) Not a lot of collars and drawstrings on prison uniforms, but comfort is key on Halloween.

On the flip side, it looks like Kristin Cavallari and daughter Saylor had the idea to match colors when coming up with what to wear this Halloween. Cavallari also looked pretty comfy in her pink and super-fluffy unicorn suit, while her daughter had on some pink pants beneath the blue dress made famous by Frozen's Elsa. (Note that the unicorn head, much like the image over one of the sons' faces, was superimposed for privacy reasons, though it's cute that it matches up with Cavallari's costume.)

Kristin Cavallari also shared some more behind-the-scenes fun via Instagram Stories, where fans could see her unicorn costume in more of its horned glory. Unfortunately, no clips of Jay Cutler getting freaked out by haunted houses or anything of that nature. This visit was just for the kids.

It was back in April when Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler first announced they were getting divorced, with plenty of rumors rising up to explain how their relationship went downhill over time, especially after details from the divorce papers were revealed. After a while, though, the rumor mill shifted its focus to get fans talking about who Cavallari and Cutler might be involved with for post-divorce relationships, with the former Laguna Beach star inspiring much speculation after posting a pic of herself with ex-co-star Stephen Colletti. Alas, most of those rumors have turned out to be just that, but as always, fans are on the lookout for more follow-ups. Kristin Cavallari may be officially split from Jay Cutler, but apparently she’s not full done with the name Cutler yet. Ryan Seacrest nabbed the information during a recent interview with the former Very Cavallari star, who continued to use her maiden name well into her marriage with the former Bears quarterback. At home and in Zoom calls, however, she’s still legally Kristin Cutler. For now.

We live in an era where in-person interviews typically aren’t happening. Thus, when Ryan Seacrest and Kristin Cavallari spoke the other day it was via Zoom, where her name popped up as “Kristin Cutler.” Seacrest is a good interviewer and obviously had to call that out during the iHeart Radio segment, during which they had this revealing exchange:

While Seacrest jokes about Cavallari’s name and helping her to get to the bottom of the mystery, the real takeaway is Cavallari admitting she’s still sorting out some stuff related to her split from Jay Cutler. The two called it quits back in April of this year. While that wasn’t so long ago, in 2020 it sort of feels like a lifetime.

Since then, Jay Cutler’s been busy dealing with his farm and the creature murdering his chickens in a twist-filled plot. Meanwhile, Kristin Cavallari reunited with a Laguna Beach flame and has spoken out about the split coming for a real long time.

Still, the two have been professional in regards to one another (at least recently), which makes sense given they are both adults who share kids and will basically be at least somewhat in each others’ lives forever. Jay Cutler even showed support for Kristin Cavallari’s new cookbook, True Comfort, which reportedly gives alternative recipes for a lot of popular comfort foods. On Seacrest’s show, the mom of three even mentioned how she cooks bolognaise and other yummy dishes with healthier ingredients, so the mom has kept busy, despite her life becoming a bit of a whirlwind after her divorce was announced and she dropped her reality show.

We’ll have to see what Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler get up to next. In some ways, I’m honestly more interested to see where Jay Cutler goes. It was rumored when the couple split that his lack of drive toward finding new opportunities after his football career ended may have driven their marriage onto rocky roads. Whether or not that’s true, Jay Cutler’s career has a lot more question marks attached to it than Cavallari’s, as the latter is busy with her book, her kids and her jewelry brand, Uncommon James. Meanwhile, he’s kept busy… hunting and binge-watching Yellowstone, of course. .

As the saying goes, breaking up is hard to do. But, that is usually even more true when the break up involves a divorce, and splitting from someone with whom you've spent many years and also have children with. In times like that, it's always good to have a steady group of friends and family to lean on who can help you grieve and put your life back together. Unfortunately, reality star Kristin Cavallari split from husband Jay Cutler earlier this year, and she's now opened up about being "really sad" that her former best friend, Kelly Henderson, hasn't reached out.

Kristin Cavallari spoke to People recently about how she's been handling her split from Jay Cutler since it was announced at the end of April. While the former Very Cavallari star had talked about enjoying being able to slow life down this year and focus on her children and company, and has even been able to indirectly joke about her divorce, she now admits how much it hurt to reveal her break up to the world, and not have Kelly Henderson reach out to comfort her, noting:

For those unaware, during Season 2 of Very Cavallari, speculation began that Kelly Henderson may have engaged in an affair with Jay Cutler. Those rumors took off in earnest back in early May, just a few days after word came out about Cavallari's divorce, when Henderson posted a photo of herself enjoying an adult beverage with an unidentified man, who fans felt could have been Cutler. Henderson then took several days to publicly deny that it was Cutler in the picture, which let those rumors run rampant for far longer, angering Cavallari and seemingly cementing the end of their friendship.

While Cavallari has always said that she never believed they had an affair, she was very unhappy with how Henderson handled the speculation. Now, even though Cavallari is disappointed that her former friend hasn't taken the time to reach out, she seems to have come to terms with the fact that their relationship is over:

She admitted not long ago that her split from Jay Cutler was something she considered for about two years before making the final decision, which came 10 years into their lives as a couple, and roughly seven years as marrieds. It's always hard to admit when a relationship you've had for a long time isn't working for one or both people anymore, but it seems as though going through her divorce has led Kristin Cavallari to see that sometimes those ties need to be cut so that each person can go on and live their best life.

In fact, she'd been contemplating it for a long time. While the decision to divorce usually doesn’t just crop up out of nowhere, Kristin Cavallari said she consistently thought about it for two years before she and Jay Cutler actually split up, sharing in her first interviews following the split:

Speaking with ET on the specifics of her divorce for the first time, Kristin Cavallari actually revealed it was advice from her mom that helped her to really get to the place she needed to be when she and her former partner decided to call it quits earlier in 2020. The two had been together for 10 years and married for around seven at the point when they decided to divorce.

Kristin Cavallari, now 33, also spoke out about meeting Jay Cutler at 23 and how the two had to grow up together. Still, sharing major life events including having three kids, Cutler’s retirement from the NFL, and filming a reality series together just wasn’t enough to keep moving forward together. After a trip in the Bahamas during quarantine, Cavallari and Cutler called it quits. She noted:

Kristin Cavallari also admitted to People that while viewers never really saw the struggles she and Jay Cutler were going through, those who worked on Very Cavallari behind the scenes did. Though it is worth noting Cavallari would say things sometimes on the show about marriages having problems, mentioning that she’d “always been vocal” on that subject during actual episodes. She even had conversations with Cutler asking him to step up after he retired and her career was taking off, but it can be hard to tell the difference between working through a marriage on TV and actual problems leading to a break-up.

Meanwhile, Kristin Cavillari ultimately sought to cancel her E! series so that her split from Jay Cutler would not need to play out on the big screen. Both former partners seem to be moving on and moving forward and have been avid on social media since the split, and both have seemed to have made efforts to keep the family together on big holidays. Ultimately, that’s probably the best any couple that decides to split can ask for.

Break-ups are never easy, but I’d have to imagine breaking up in the public eye can be even more tenuous to deal with. For example, when Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler split up earlier this year, both had to deal with vicious responses from the fanbase (though Cutler’s football career may have taken the brunt of that). Now, however, some time has passed and Cavallari seems to have reached the point where she can at least indirectly joke about her failed marriage.

Kristin Cavallari’s been blowing up social media lately, whether it’s because she was reuniting with her Laguna Beach flame or getting back to work post-quarantine on her Uncommon James label. She’s also been spending a lot of time with her hairstylist pal Justin Anderson and she recently declared him “the longest relationship of her life.”

Regardless, the fact that Kristin Cavallari has seemingly gotten to the point where she can joke about the length of her failed marriage whilst third-wheeling it with her best pals is likely a good thing. It’s a far cry from where she was a few weeks ago, when she discussed it being “the first time in a very long time that I feel like I can take a breath.”

This year has seemingly been a big adventure for Kristin Cavallari. A few weeks ago, the entrepreneur and reality star also revealed some new tattoos, sharing she got the initials of her three kids and then a butterfly on her wrist. At the time, she also revealed on her Instagram account that “butterflies have been such a sign for me when going through difficult times.”

Ultimately, it takes time to work out feelings related to a failed relationship. That often gets amplified when things like custody agreements get played out somewhat in the public eye. Then dating rumors sometimes get started, complicating things further. (Though Jay Cutler has been adamant recently that he isn’t seeing Tomi Lahren, in case you were invested in that rumor.)

Meanwhile, Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler have three kids to raise: Camden, Jaxon and Saylor. So in some fashion, they will always at least loosely be involved in each others’ lives. Still, at some point the nature of the game must be onward and forward and it’s nice to see the reality star getting there. Almost as nice as it will be seeing what she’ll do next.

Needless to say, Jay Cutler says he is not currently with Tomi Lahren.

She also confirmed the rumors should stay in the rumor mill, basically telling everyone to mind their own p’s and q’s.

The rumor originally happened because Jay Cutler and Tomi Lahren were allegedly seen out together in Nashville just a few nights ago. The two were spotted at Winners Bar in Music City, reportedly taking shots of tequila together straight out of a bottle, though that information came from a secondhand source. The move comes as Jay Cutler had seemingly been active in recent weeks and after his former partner’s recent trip back to Laguna Beach where she met up with old flame Stephen Colletti.

So, why did he cut out of social media completely? The rumor mill would indicate that Kristin Cavallari’s post with Stephen Colletti may have been to blame. People were really here for that post online, including the likes of the Jersey Shore cast and more, but an unnamed source told E! the former Bears quarterback “was getting a lot of heat” over the Laguna Beach-oriented post.

Weirdly, at the time Kristin Cavallari posted the Instagram update, reports indicated she isn’t embarking on a romance with Stephen Colletti, even if her fanbase is here for it. It’s also true that people were pretty vicious online after Cutler and Cavallari initially split and that didn’t stop him from posting on social media, so I find it odd that the Colletti flack might. In fact, Jay Cutler's taken more than a few shots online in recent days and perhaps this was the straw that broke the camel's back. It’s not like he has to have a reason to justify cutting his fanbase out of his day-to-day routine.

The news comes just a few days after Jay Cutler seemed to be supportive of his former partner on Instagram. In fact, he even shared a nice compliment over her new cookbook, True Comfort, noting the new book was “taste tested and approved.” This was after he’d shared a post showing the broken-up couple spending time together on Father’s Day earlier in 2020.

Some of these posts actually led to some questions over who ran Jay Cutler’s Instagram as he split from his ex Kristin Cavallari. But recently a bunch of his posts seemed to be about chickens and other random things on his property that seemingly made it clear he was in charge of his own content.

First off, Cavallari and Cuter may have celebrated his special day together with their kids, but she did not make that fact public until the next day. I happen to think that she was probably just tired from a day of hanging with both the children and her ex, with what appears to be a chunk of that time happening outdoors at some sort of sportsball field. But, there are people in her comments who think she was being shady by not posting this picture or wishing Cutler a happy Father's Day until Monday. I can withhold judgement there, though, because divorce is hard and sometimes you need to get some licks in to feel OK...OK?

Then, Kristin Cavallari reveals something kind of big, noting that they all spent their time at her new house. If you've been following news on their divorce, you might remember that Cavallari getting her own place during this time was not an easy thing. Court documents have indicated that she began looking for her own home in the fall of last year, only to stop when she and Cuter decided to try and work things out.

After the family's vacation in the Bahamas turned into an extended quarantine and they were finally able to return to Nashville, both realized the romance was done, and Cavallari started house hunting again. She said in divorce documents that Cutler had been making "inappropriate statements to and about" her in front of the kids, in what she felt was an effort to start arguments with their children watching. But, Cutler, who had apparently told her he would not leave the home, got their joint business manager to refuse to release the money Cavallari would need to get a new home.

Kristin Cavallari had asked that a judge force the release of her part of the couple's shared funds so that she could get out of the house and live with her children, so that must have been done since she made her request, which was shortly after announcing the divorce to the public. Cavallari spoke up in mid-May about quarantining with her kids at Very Cavallari co-star and celebrity hairstylist Justin Anderson's house, so it's good that she was able to get a place before too long.

The other big thing that Cavallari noted in her caption, is that she and Cutler now seem to be "navigating" "co-parenting," and doing it "the best way we know how," which is already a big change from just a few weeks ago. She even saw fit to say that their kids are lucky to have him, and hope that they take after him and "get a smidge of that heart of gold," which is not something people typically say about someone who, allegedly, made them cry at work all the time.

I really do hope that Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are truly on their way to being able to divorce without public slings and arrows being thrown about. And, with their time as a family on Father's Day, it looks like that might really be the way forward for them.

While there were allegedly attempts at reconciliation, they ultimately decided on divorce.

While that initial news made the split sound amicable enough, things got heated pretty quickly, and now we know how Cavallari has been spending her quarantine time during those divorce proceedings.

The entrepreneur and Very Cavallari star recently spoke to her stylist, Dani Michelle, on an Instagram Live (via E! News), and decided to be totally honest about what life is like for her and her three children (7-year-old Camden, 6-year-old Jaxon, and 4-year-old Saylor) during quarantine, including where they're living and how her schedule has changed. Here's what Cavallari had to say:

Well, it makes a lot of sense that Kristin Cavallari wouldn't have stayed in the same house with her soon-to-be ex-husband Jay Cutler during this time, which is stressful enough for a lot of people. Instead, Cavallari and her children have bunked with her good friend, and Very Cavallari co-star, celebrity hairstylist Justin Anderson. Cavallari said that they've actually been staying with Anderson since returning from a three-week family trip to the Bahamas, where Anderson and his fiancé, Jay, were also along for the vacation (along with Cutler).

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler got word of the stay at home order while in the Bahamas with their kids, but eventually made their way back to Nashville, which they've called home. There were already rumors that the couple had been trying to make their marriage work for quite some time, which were really fueled by speculation that Cutler cheated on Cavallari with a former friend of hers (which was denied by all parties). So, if this trip was meant to be a final family vacation before announcing their split, it's pretty easy to understand why they'd head back and live apart immediately.

It only took a couple of days for the divorce to go from the outward appearance of a non-contentious one to looking like something that could get very messy. Cavallari added "inappropriate marital conduct" to her divorce filing, along with citing "irreconcilable differences" as Cutler had, and Cutler said in his filing that he was the "at-home parent" who provided most of the care for their kids, which Cavallari took exception to.

Kristin Cavallari later filed additional divorce papers, which stated that she was trying to find a home for her and her kids, only to have Jay Cutler tell their business manager not to release the money she'd need to obtain her own home. Those same papers also alleged that Cutler was trying to instigate arguments with her in front of their children by saying "inappropriate" things to and about her, and she feared the situation would get worse once he refused to leave the home.

If Cutler is capable of being mean enough to Cavallari to make her cry, which is rumored to have happened on the set of Very Cavallari, then it's no wonder she packed up the family to stay with Justin Anderson.

Let’s break this down. On Mother’s Day Kristin Cavallari shared a post of herself and her own mother as well as a separate one depicting the three kids she shares with Jay Cutler. She called being a mom “the greatest gift.” All of that’s fine, sentimental and lovely. It’s also not why people are roasting Cavallari.

Instead, it’s all about Jay Cutler’s Mother’s Day post, which looks like this:

That seems like a remarkably civil post from a dude who is currently divorcing his wife, which would indicate things are at least fairly amicable with the couple. Right? Not so fast. A while back, Kristin Cavallari admitted on Instagram stories that she’s actually the person running Jay Cutler’s Instagram account. She admitted she was the person running her then-husband’s account on Instagram Stories way back in 2018:

That’s why the account is called “ifjayhadinstagram. If that still holds true, that would mean that she not only posted a Mother’s Day message to herself but also responded to that message with a heart emoji.

Fans were quick to point this out in the comments, noting that it’s Kristin Cavallari’s team who runs the social media account. There are lots of refrains similar to this one:

Others took a more direct approach, calling Kristin Cavallari out for updating Jay Cutler's account.

Some seemed a little more upset than they probably needed to be, using all caps to illustrate their points.

However, there’s always a chance that Jay Cutler has taken over his social media since separating from Kristin Cavallari, which would honestly make this whole thing a rather nice exchange as the couple separates. In fact, his Instagram bio does currently say “I don’t have Instagram, but if I did...and now I do," although I never paid close enough attention to what the bio said before to know how long that's been there.

Regardless, given what we are used to with reality shows like Very Cavallari, this sort of possibly fake post is certainly plausible and would not be the wildest thing we’ve seen a reality star do if true. Obviously, it seems like lots of people want to believe Cavallari wrote the post and then hearted it, because that’s way more dramatic and amusing than a couple getting along while divorcing.

While some think Jay Cutler deserves a rest, other people really feel as if Jay Cutler has been open about his personality the entire time the couple has been married and this is not new news.

And this fan simply wants to make it understood he feels NFL fans are the only ones allowed to speak about Jay Cutler’s work ethic.

The gist of the original Page 6 report indicated Kristin Cavallari found Jay Cutler to be “unmotivated” following his retirement from football. It suggests that she thought he’d be big in the sports broadcasting world by now, as has happened with other retired players before him, but instead he wasn’t doing much before she landed their hit show Very Cavallari.

In general, divorce is just a messy process. If you throw in fame and strangers being willing to say whatever they want on the internet, it gets even messier. The good news is that both parties seem to now be wanting to move forward now and get the process done fairly quickly, even reaching a custody agreement for their three kids.
