To the surprise of no one, The Roast of Kevin Hart has remained a topic of conversation for weeks after it first hit streaming (via Netflix subscription), from reactions to Hart’s beef-quashing with Katt Williams to comics who’ve feuded in the aftermath. Unfortunately, a backlash quickly surfaced in response to polarizing roaster Tony Hinchcliffe making an insensitive joke about George Floyd six years after his controversial death. Hart finally shared his thoughts about the public reaction, and he wants people to calm down.

Hart stopped by The Breakfast Club, where co-host Charlamagne Tha God famously suffers no fools and rarely sidesteps potentially uncomfortable topics. So naturally the streaming Roast earned quite a bit of discussion, with the George Floyd reference coming up early on. Hart made it clear in a YouTube clip from the episode that he hasn’t partaken in the outrage against Hinchcliffe, despite knowing that the jokey reference wasn’t viewed positively by the Black community at large. As he put it:

Hart made it clear that he was not expecting a comedian like Tony Hinchcliffe to hit the stage with G-rated softball insults, and that it would have been silly for anyone else to have those expectations.

As well, the Jumanji franchise star shared that he thinks all the complaints about the single joke are taking away from the grander gesture of applauding Hinchcliffe's time on-stage in its entirety. Hart continued:

Even Charlamagne Tha God said he was laughing along with Hinchcliffe's jokes until the George Floyd comnent was made. Kevin Hart made the argument that to take one comedian to task for one joke would be to put every possibly offensive joke under a microscope, namechecking Pete Davidson, who voiced a few controversial jokes of his own. According to Hart:

For any viewers who may not have been aware of how pointed Tony Hinchcliffe's comedy can be, he set a precedence by first making a dispute-starting joke about Floyd during the Tom Brady Roast. Breakfast Club co-host Loren LaRosa shared that she interviewed George Floyd's brother Terren Floyd about the Roast. She said he felt Kevin should have stepped up to either shut Hinchcliffe's joke down, or to have an equally hardcore response as retaliation.

Hart appeared somewhat bamboozled by that criticism, not understanding what he was expected to do during a live production where he was the celebrated subject. He also addressed that those angered by the joke don't need to stay mad about. As he said:

Hart put something of a bow on his thoughts with the following statement that attempts to extract his presence from any negative-skewing conversations about the joke. (Even though the conversation did continue.) In Hart's words:

To be fair, Tom Brady did get offended by all the jokes made at his children's expense, and expressed a regret over having committed to the special. But he certainly went back to that stage and read jokes off the teleprompter at Hart's expense, so it would seem that he was able to get past his anger.

It doesn't look like any other Roasts will be among Netflix's 2026 movies and shows that are on the way, but it doesn't look like viewers are ready to stop talking about this one anyway. But why weren't more people talking about that strangely timed Kevin Hart joke on American Dad from the same night as the Roast?

When you tune into a comedy roast — like The Roast of Kevin Hart, which recently aired live on the Netflix schedule — you know you’re going to get some crass humor and jokes that hit below the belt. That was certainly the case for the Ride Along actor, and Chelsea Handler, who was one of the night’s roasters, had no qualms about calling out host Shane Gillis for the brand of humor he brought to the evening. It should come as no surprise, either, that the comedian had quite the snarky response to her criticism.

Chelsea Handler visited Deon Cole’s Funny Knowing You podcast following Kevin Hart’s roast, and she said she really wasn’t surprised at the insults that were aimed at her — particularly from host Shane Gillis and Tony Hinchcliffe, another comedian on the dais that night — saying:

The 51-year-old said she expected the jokes about her dating life at the Kevin Hart roast, as she said:

Chelsea Handler went on to say that Kevin Hart deserved an “elevated roast,” which is what she tried to bring, knowing that Shane Gillis and others would be at “the bottom of the barrel.” She didn’t like the jokes about Cheryl Underwood’s husband’s suicide, and the racial humor rubbed her the wrong way as well, as she said:

When asked about his thoughts on being called “racist,” “sexist” and “lazy” by the former talk show host, Shane Gillis had a measured — and seemingly sarcastic — response, telling Page Six:

It doesn’t seem like the roast host is taking Chelsea Handler’s criticisms to heart, seeming to suggest that she’s saying things as an attempt to keep her name in the headlines (while also promoting his own event).

Shane Gillis knows that he pushes people’s buttons with his humor, and this is far from the first time he’s faced backlash for it. Back in 2019, he was hired onto Saturday Night Live but was fired when his history of using racial and homophobic slurs came to light. The comedian would later come back to host SNL and joke about being fired.

The Roast of Kevin Hart landed in a major way this past weekend, injecting the 2026 TV schedule with some serious comedic power. While the live-streamed event offered up plenty of big and wild moments, the most-discussed aspect of the night arguably involved Katt Williams. The comic savagely roasted Hart with a blistering set, but it ended with Williams and Hart apparently squashing their beef. Now, in the aftermath of the event, Hart is showing more love for his former comedic foe.

Hart talked up his roast in a big way after it was initially announced, and he suggested that nothing would be held back. Well, it seems the Let Me Explain star was ultimately pleased with the final product, as he took to Instagram this week to shout out the various comics who brought their A-game. Shane Gillis, Sheryl Underwood and Chelsea Handler were among the stand-up stars Hart shouted out in his video. Most notably, though, he also took a moment to give Williams his flowers by sharing the following sentiments:

That’s high praise, and it’s surreal to hear that come from Hart, considering the bad blood that existed between him and Williams for some time. Both comedians went back and forth at each other for some time, with Williams most notably accusing him of stealing roles and comedy cues from him. That all came to a head in 2024 when Williams appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay and accused Hart of being an industry “plant” among other things. That interview went viral (and was later parodied on SNL to Sharpe’s delight).

Williams alluded to the past comments he made during his set on Hart’s roast and further joked that behind closed doors, Hart “stole” everything from him. Additionally, the Father Figures alum also chastised Hart for never saying “no” to any kind of role and claimed Hart attended Diddy’s infamous parties, events that Williams previously discussed. In spite of all that, it was Hart who initiated the call for a truce, and further comments he shared in his IG post seem to lend credibility as to why he’d be open to it after that set:

When it comes to roasts, Hart does seem to practice what he preaches as evidenced by his performance at The Roast of Tom Brady. Hart went hard with jokes that night, though he still understood Brady’s regrets over doing the roast due to how it affected his family members.

In regard to Kevin Hart and Katt Williams’ relationship after the former’s own roast, it would appear that both are on solid footing. There are a number of fans, however, who don’t seem as convinced and believe Williams may throw further jabs at Hart. Of course, that’s just a bit of speculation at this point. We’ll have to wait and see if something happens to spark yet another feud but, in the meantime, I can appreciate the notion of the two beloved comics settling their differences.

Sunday night was a big one for comedian Kevin Hart, who was the core target for his much-hyped live Roast on Netflix, where he shockingly buried the hatchet with Katt Williams after years of beefing, with even The Rock making an extremely foul-mouthed appearance near the end. But elsewhere on the 2026 TV lineup, American Dad’s latest episode gave the stand-up comedian the most baffling shout out that seems hard to believe was entirely coincidental. Somebody get Wheels and the Legman on the case!

"Dude, You're Getting a Del!" Featured A Joke With An End-Of-Episode Payoff

The episode was partially focused on Klaus' inability to be fatherly to Snot while banging his mom, only to realize that Snot's former father figure Del is the ultimate stand-in dad. (It's the kind of plot lunacy that might only work 21 years into a show's run, but probably not in a debut season.) In the first half of the ep, when Klaus and Snot are at a sports cards store, Snot addresses his collection of "all the great Jewish athletes" — a single Sandy Koufax card — and says all he needs now is "the other one."

It's a funny enough joke in and of itself, but it's then followed by a color tone change and a pause in the visuals, with an announcer chiming in with the following request for viewers:

Arguably one of the weirder gags American Dad has leaned into over the years, and one that sort of pays homage to live-TV call-ins. Which brings us back to the simultaneously airing Roast.

As the episode was nearing its end, Roger...(ahem)...Marmalade was sliding down the cat-pole in the middle of the cat-fe stolen from Hailey — another non-first-season story arc — and the announcer came back to set up Roger's reveal: Kevin Hart. Amusingly enough, the alien-feline was just as confused as I was to hear it, and when he asked for confirmation, the announcer shared:

Could that have just been a silly coincidence, though? I don't think so. And I also don't think Netflix possibly could have had the premiere date for Hart's Roast set when this episode was written and animated. So what gives?

Why That Kevin Hart Reference Made Too Much Sense To Be Kismet

The most obvious factor here is that the Roast was airing as American Dad's credits were rolling. But it's not just that the timing of the airing aligned with the live special.

As many likely remember, Kevin Hart was the host of 2024's The Roast of Tom Brady, with the former NFL giant returning to the Forum to deliver his harsh rebuttals. Who else was on the dais and took the mic during that event? None other than former Super Bowl MVP Julian Edelman, who was raised as a Christian and only later in life converted to Judaism and publicly presented as being Jewish. That element feels in line with American Dad's humor, but the timing?

I genuinely wonder whether or not the "Kevin Hart" lines were recorded as close to airtime as possible to give the gag an added sense of timeliness and relevance. I don't think that would be too far outside what's possible, given the announcer didn't need to be animated at all.

I guess it's not IMPOSSIBLE for this to be just some wacky-cool timing on the American Dad creative team's part, and I think they're definitely clever enough. I just don't think that's what explains away this instance. Surely I'm not the only one, right?

Over the weekend, The Roast of Kevin Hart streamed live amid the 2026 TV schedule, and it was quite eventful, to say the least. The latest celebrity roast to be available to Netflix subscription holders, the event saw a number of notable stars skewer Hart. In a surprising twist, though, Katt Williams – who long had beef with Hart – appeared as well. While Williams did indeed stick it to his fellow comic, his set ended with the pair squashing their conflict. Now, in the aftermath, fans have plenty of wild and funny thoughts.

Williams was unveiled as a surprise guest by fellow roaster Regina Hall, and the Atlanta alum didn’t hold back on Hart, critiquing his skills as both an actor and comedian. He also humorously reiterated his belief that Hart “stole” everything from him career-wise. Ultimately, Williams’ set generated some big laughs amongst attendees at Kia Forum this past Sunday. After that, though, Hart himself stopped Williams from leaving and proposed a truce that he seemingly accepted. Check out that moment in the video below:

I certainly didn’t see that coming and, by the looks of it, neither did fans. Many took to the comments of that X video and shared their thoughts. While some seemed to be ecstatic over the notion of the two comedians finally burying the hatchet, others appeared more skeptical:

For years, Katt Williams and Kevin Hart remained on separate ends of the comedy pool, with each critiquing the other. One major point in the feud occurred in early 2024 when Williams was interviewed on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay (which even inspired an SNL skit). It was during that conversation that Williams accused Hart of being an industry “plant” as well as a “puppet” (and Williams even referenced those comments directly during the roast). And, even years before that, Williams made pointed claims about what Hart would do to sell his movies.

What’s so jarring to me is that the roast’s kumbaya moment could come after such a brutal set from Williams. I mean, the One of Them Days alum even went so far as to evoke Diddy parties again and suggest Hart participated in some of the wild activities that reportedly happened there. However, I won’t sit here and scoff at the Think Like a Man star trying to initiate a bit of peace.

I’d still be lying, however, if I said I wasn’t curious as to whether or not this beef is truly settled. After all, as one of the commenters suggests, it’s certainly possible that Katt Williams could be interviewed and throw shade at Kevin Hart at a later time. Still, I guess it doesn’t hurt to remain optimistic. And, at the very least, Williams' set paired with the hug made for some great TV.

Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson are quite the dynamic duo, having made several films together now. Their comedic antics -- both on and off-screen -- have been well documented and, later this year, they'll appear together in the 2026 movie release Jumanji: Open World. While I love their on-camera work, I love that the two co-stars have a history of trolling each other behind the scenes. And that tendency to bust chops was also present when Hart humorously chastised Johnson after he was pulled over by cops.

Just recently, TMZ acquired video showing The Rock being stopped by the police days ago due to having tinted windows on his car. (For context, that minor detail constitutes a traffic violation in LA.) No harm seemed to have been done on that front, overall but, then Hart entered the chat. While walking by Miami’s Carbone Beach Club, the comedian was asked by a paparazzi if he was responsible calling the cops on his friend and colleague, and Hart had a humorously blunt response:

Let the record show that Kevin Hart was just being his usual funny self, and that POS comment is another over-the-top jab aimed at his good buddy. Johnson previously shared the truth about his friendship with Hart, in that the two really do have love for each other and have “the best time.” Also, calling the cops on his “brotha” would be a whole new level of pranking that I’m sure the pair would never ever resort to. (At least, that's what I'd assume.)

Still, if trolling were an Olympic sport, Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart would be standing on the podium playfully arguing about who would bring home the trophy. Whether they're destroying each other through hilarious impressions or slapping faces with tortillas on TikTok, there's never a dull moment with these two.

More recently, when Hart and Johnson reunited for Jumanji 4, they continued to roast each other. For example, the Smashing Machine actor found out the Philly native was filming him eating on set without him noticing. While Johnson jokingly said he wanted “to punch” his pal, he settled for “belly laughing” at Hart’s hilarious commentary instead.

And the hilarity continued in a BTS video which showed Hart complaining about sitting in the back seat of a car. Johnson roasted him about that, which led to Hart delivering so many humorous f-bombs while being roasted for his short legs.

Now, when it comes to the cop situation, I'd love to hear The Rock respond to his buddy's playful claim that he called the fuzz. It wouldn't be surprising to me at all if Johnson were to have a great one-liner of a response. For right now, though, I'm just chuckling over Hart's expletive-filled take on the traffic stop.

If it’s not Simu Liu after his MCU and Barbie run, or Chris Pratt’s ever-evolving Guardians of the Galaxy beard, or Jennifer Lopez diving into Kiss of the Spider Woman, who doesn’t love a good celeb diva story? I know I do. If you’ve ever watched a Kevin Hart interview, you already know he’s never short on stories regarding this topic, either. He’s built a career turning everyday annoyances into comedy gold, so when he was asked about his “worst diva moment,” you could pretty much expect something honest and funny (and related to the new Jumanji movie).

During a recent appearance on Call Her Daddy, Hart was asked point-blank to name the most diva-like thing he’s ever done. A clip from that conversation, shared to the show’s official TikTok account, has been making the rounds, mostly because his answer is both extremely specific and extremely relatable if you’ve ever been outside for too long. He started by sharing:

If I were going to make a bet on which project the Scary Movie alum was a diva on, Jumanji would be my first guess. Beyond the fact that action-adventure movies are incredibly demanding, The Rock shared a video of the comedian dropping f-bombs while throwing a fit on the upcoming 2026 movie schedule release, so it’s not really surprising to me.

Now, if you’ve seen the modern Jumanji movies, you know they look like a blast on screen. But what you don’t necessarily see is what it’s like when the cameras stop rolling, and the cast and crew are still in the jungle. Hart didn’t sugarcoat that part of production, adding:

There’s something pretty funny about the mental image of Hart, totally in production mode, starting to turn into the guy who keeps checking his watch and trying to wrap things up before the bugs go wild. The A-list funny man obviously knows it sounds a bit dramatic, but he’s not defending his attitude so much as basically saying, “I’ve hit my limit, and the jungle helped me see that.” Honestly, that seems like a pretty fair boundary.

You can practically hear his delivery in your head, can't you? The frustration is building. The final “Hey, hey” as he tries to shut it down before things get out of hand. Let’s be honest, if you’re filming in the jungle and the bugs are coming out, most people are probably thinking the same thing. The Borderlands performer just happens to be the one who said the quiet part out loud.

So no, it’s not really a diva moment in the traditional sense. It’s more like a very human one, just delivered with the Fatherhood actor’s timing. If that’s the worst of it, the rest of the set probably had it pretty good.

Fortunately for Hart, he’ll be back in a much more controlled environment soon enough, with Jumanji: Open World set to hit theaters on Christmas Day, which feels like a pretty solid holiday gift all things considered.

Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart always seem to be trolling each other, and you know what, I never get sick of it. Most recently, while promoting Jumanji: Open World, The Rock made fun of the comedian’s storytelling abilities. It felt like it came out of nowhere, which makes it funnier. However, what makes this whole situation even better, right after the Smashing Machine star did this, he showed some mad respect for his other Jumanji co-star, Jack Black.

Now, with the third Jumanji starring these guys and Karen Gillan set to premiere on Christmas on the 2026 movie schedule, they’ve been spending lots of time together. This included them taking a trip to CinemaCon, and The Rock posted a video on Instagram from there of him walking down the hall with Hart and Black. Take a look:

In the video, Hart and Black are telling a story about the comedian pitching the School of Rock actor something. I’m not sure what project they’re talking about exactly, but whatever it was, Jack Black wanted to read the script first.

Anyway, the point of the video in relation to this story is that Dwayne Johnson was listening to these two tell this tale. Then, in the caption, he decided to judge their storytelling abilities, writing this about his pal Kevin Hart:

Then to make matters even better, Johnson used the final part of his post to both joke about Hart and compliment Black, as he wrote:

Love the mad respect for Jack Black! I also find it funny that it also helps hammer home The Rock's roast on Hart.

This kind of tolling has been going on for years between the two actors; however, as they’ve been working together on this new Jumanji movie, the tomfoolery has been upped.

During production, The Rock posted a video of Hart throwing a tantrum in the backseat of a car they were filming in, writing that he was getting “whiny about his carseat.” Meanwhile, Hart posted a video of himself secretly filming Johnson before he noticed what was going on. The back-and-forth has always been consistent, and clearly, it’s stayed the same through filming this new project.

I have a feeling it will be that way through the press tour, too, and I think this video single-handedly proves that. Jumanji 4 wrapped production in March, so now the wait is on for its Christmas Day premiere. However, while we wait, I’m sure the cast will have more fun posts to share that both troll and compliment each other.

Clearly, they have a good time together (despite how often Johnson and Hart complain about each other), and I am looking forward to the stories they have to share about the making of this movie. However, if you want The Rock to listen to them…maybe have Jack Black tell them instead of Kevin Hart.

It was confirmed this past week that Hart would serve as the guest of honor at a roast that’ll be available for Netflix subscription holders to stream later this spring. Hart himself also confirmed the news by sharing a very on-brand post on social media. That update not only dropped plenty of f-bombs, but it also included a major promise.

The Roast of Kevin Hart is set to stream live on May 10 from the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. Serving as host will be fellow comedian Shane Gillis, and the event should be a truly wild sight to behold. At least, that’s the feeling someone could get after hearing what Hart himself had to say about it. The comedian shared his announcement on Instagram and he didn’t ease up on the profanity one bit. Aside from that, he also made a guarantee that may entice viewers to stream the roast live:

That f-bomb-laced tease leaves readers with a lot to chew on (and laugh about). However, what really catches my eye is the promise that it’ll be the “biggest and the best live event ever.” Of course, when a star is promoting something, they’re going to do what they can to hype it up. However, given that Hart is usually purposeful in how he sells his shows and movies, it’s hard not to take this as anything less than a serious promise. With that, now, I have to wonder how he’ll fulfill that pledge.

How Could Kevin Hart Make His Roast One Of The Live Events Of All Time?

Although Shaq expressed interest in being Netflix’s latest roastee, it honestly makes sense as to why Kevin Hart was selected for the job. The Acting My Age headliner did serve as the host of Tom Brady’s record-breaking 2024 roast on the streamer, so this feels like a natural hand-off of sorts. Despite that, Hart, Gillis and co. are going to have to do quite a bit to top the buzz garnered by Brady’s roast (which includes some truly harsh and cringey highlights).

The producers are going to want to assemble a star-studded group of roasters for the dais. Roast veteran Jeff Ross – who also serves as a producer on Hart’s roast – is likely to be among those who throw jabs at the Think Like a Man alum. I’d also bring in Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who has a history of ripping on Hart and vice versa. Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Taraji P. Henson, Bryan Cranston and Ice Cube are also among other celebrity friends that could bring some serious star power to the event.

Of course, I already can’t help but wonder what the aftermath of this roast – which will close out the Netflix is a Joke festival – will look like. Following his own roast, Tom Brady said he regretted how the roast made his family feel, with Hart himself later acknowledging those sentiments. Of course, Hart himself knows how to roll with the punches, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s willing to take more than a few shots (and drop some expletives) in the pursuit of “the best live event ever.”

The added commentary is comedy gold, with Hart mocking the wrestler and saying, “If I don’t eat my food, I’mma get dizzy!” This is trolling in its purest form and, quite frankly, it only makes me love the relationship between Hart and Johnson even more.

When he initially responded to the clip when it was posted by Hart, The Rock emphatically responded by saying, “You MF!” He then declared, “Let the man eat in peace with his little tin, and big ass spoon." In his latest post, though, Johnson went from wanting “to punch” Hart to “belly laughing”:

I love that even the San Andreas actor can admit that his pal’s commentary is hilarious! Honestly, if you can't laugh at yourself, then who can you laugh at? Johnson also playfully explained, though, just why he was packing that food in during his break on set:

Hey, the man’s gotta eat, right?! And it's been well documented that Dwayne Johnson’s got a big appetite. At one point, the Mummy Returns actor spoke about eating five to six meals a day. So, naturally, he’s not gonna go without a meal if the opportunity presents itself on set. As The Rock had no problem trolling Kevin Hart’s short legs during filming, I believe the man when he says he’ll deliver payback to his good friend.

As much as Dwayne Johnson wanted “to punch” Kevin Hart for mocking his downtime, it's great that he has such an excellent sense of humor about the sneaky move. Karen Gillan’s enthusiasm for Jumanji has always been clear. It’s also been very obvious that she’s had a blast working on this new film. Just take a look at the hilarious posts of her mouthing “I’m Too Sexy” and being an absolute manic on set, and you’ll see what I mean. Her latest post, however, dives into just how much this franchise means to her, as she wrote on Instagram:

She also wrote about how she totally manifested Ruby Roundhouse. She proved it too, by posting a screenshot of an Interview Magazine article from 2014 where she said, "I like Jumanji, too, just to throw that in there." That happened three years before Welcome to the Jungle was released, which is remarkable, as the actress explained:

Clearly, the manifestation worked, and it brought her “the job of a lifetime.” As the post went on, she gushed about writer/director Jake Kasdan. She also, of course, called out her co-stars too, writing:

After the Doctor Who actress uploaded her long goodbye post, Dwayne Johnson was quick to comment. They’ve been working together for nearly a decade on these movies, and he made it clear how much he cares for her and their co-stars by writing:

Well, it couldn’t all be serious…which makes it even better. As Jumanji 4 has been in production, the cast has kept up the shenanigans. The Rock found out he was being filmed by Kevin Hart. Kevin Hart threw a tantrum about leg room in the back of a car that the cast was in. The list goes on. So, the Moana actor adding that little rib at himself, Black and Hart to his comment about Gillan feels very fitting.

All around, this post and comment felt like a great way to wrap up production on Jumanji 4. Now, I can’t wait to see what silly and loving moments these guys will give us once the press tour starts up and we get even closer to the movie's December 11 release.

One of the things that has made the two recent Jumanji movies so great is the chemistry of the main cast. The team of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan is clearly having a lot of fun together making these movies. That’s been born out during the filming of the latest entry in the series, although I’m not sure anybody has as much fun as Karen Gillan.

The actress, who portrays video game character Ruby Roundhouse in Jumanji, has posted several clips from the set as she’s been hanging out behind the scenes and pretending to work. The final hilarious clip is from her final day on set. The new Jumanji recently wrapped filming, but not before Gillan rocked out on Instagram one last time.

This isn’t even the first time Karen Gillan decided to have an impromptu dance party on the set of Jumanji. A few days ago, she was getting down in her trailer during a time that she fully admitted she was supposed to be working on her lines. At other times, Gillan has been goofing off with The Rock’s stunt double, a guy who probably has only slightly less downtime than Tom Cruise’s stunt double.

The Rock himself has been having fun on set as well. The new Jumanji was filmed at Universal Studios, and The Rock occasionally stopped the Universal Studios Tour Trams to say hi to the people visiting the theme park that is attached to the studio. Celebrity sightings on the Universal Tour aren’t particularly uncommon, but they’re also rarely as big as Dwayne Johnson.

If the fun that the cast is having making Jumanji translates to the fun that audiences will have watching it, then we’re all going to be in pretty good shape. The last two films have been completely enjoyable takes on the premise. While we don’t really know what the new movie will be about. The ending of Jumanji: The Next Level teased a return to the original Jumanji premise, which sees the game world invade the real world, rather than the real world characters becoming part of the game. Of course, really anything is possible here.

Now that filming has wrapped, post-production can begin ahead of the film’s release in December. Somewhere in between, we’ll get the first trailer that will likely give us the movie’s official title, which will allow people to stop confusing things by being unable to decide whether this movie counts as Jumanji 3 or Jumanji 4.

Whatever we call it, we know this will be the last Jumanji movie, at least in this current iteration of the franchise. That also means there won't be another opportunity for Karen Gillan to be this silly, at least on this film series.

A new Jumanji movie is on the way, with the latest installment set to land on the 2026 movie calendar just in time for the holiday season. While the franchise has become a reliably family-friendly adventure, its stars are known for being a lot less wholesome when the cameras aren’t rolling. That’s especially true for Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, who never miss a chance to roast each other. Case in point: Johnson recently shared a behind-the-scenes clip of Hart dropping plenty of f-bombs after getting mercilessly trolled for his “short legs.”

In an Instagram post, Johnson shared a video from the set showing him in the front seat with Jack Black, while co-stars Karen Gillan, Alex Wolff, and Hart are crammed into the back. As you can see in the clip below, Hart’s reaction quickly turns into a hilariously profanity-filled rant.

Moments like this probably aren’t too surprising given how long the group has been working together. Filming on Jumanji 4 has been underway since November 2025, so it tracks that the cast has started finding creative ways to keep themselves entertained between takes. The upcoming sequel is expected to be the final chapter in the current Jumanji series, which makes the end of this particular run a little bittersweet. Still, considering the chemistry this group has built over the years, it wouldn’t be shocking if they found another project to team up on down the road.

For now, though, the gang is back for one more adventure. The next entry in Sony’s blockbuster series will once again see Johnson and Hart return as Smolder Bravestone and Mouse Finbar. They’ll be joined by Black as Shelly Oberon and Gillan as Ruby Roundhouse, rounding out the core group fans have come to expect. The returning ensemble also includes Nick Jonas, Awkwafina, Alex Wolff, Ser'Darius Blain, Madison Iseman, Rhys Darby, Lamorne Morris, and Danny DeVito, the latter of whom reportedly wrapped his work on the movie last month.

As for what the story will actually be about, details are still mostly under wraps. The film’s official title hasn’t even been revealed yet. One thing that has been confirmed, however, is that the movie will include a heartfelt nod to Robin Williams, the star of the franchise’s original 1995 film.

In the very explicit, albeit hilarious, clip above, Johnson can be seen wearing a necklace that includes the original dice Williams used while filming that movie. It’s a small detail, but a meaningful one, serving as a quiet tribute to the late actor and the film that started it all.

Of course, while moments like this behind-the-scenes video are fun to watch, the production itself hasn’t exactly been easy. Action-adventure movies are notoriously demanding, even for actors who aren’t performing the biggest stunts. Kevin Hart has even shared photos of himself completely wiped out and asleep on set, giving fans a glimpse of just how exhausting the shoot can be.

Still, it’ll be great to see the whole ensemble back together on screen in a much more family-friendly setting when Jumanji 4 arrives in theaters on December 11. Until then, here’s hoping the cast keeps sharing more of these chaotic and entertaining behind-the-scenes moments.

And, in true on-brand fashion for this pair, the've been joking and roasting each other during their downtime. The latest play jab coming from Hart, who received a funny reply from Johnson.

Jumanji 4 has been filming since November 2025 so, as fans can imagine, the actors are finding fun ways to entertain themselves between takes. Check out this funny video Kevin Hart took of Dwayne Johnson while he was chowing down on some food:

Fans have to turn on the sound for this one, if they haven’t already. The comedian discretely filmed his co-star sitting down in the middle of the jungle to eat his lunch while some of the crew were figuring out the specifics of how to shoot the scene. Hart added some funny commentary of what he imagines The Rock is saying such as “If I don’t eat my food I get dizzy” and the actor had no idea what was happening. Now that the footage is on Instagram, Johnson took to the comment section to say this:

Ugh, these two are always such a fun pair and never cease to entertain – even with their upcoming movie not even being out yet. It’s too bad it was announced that Jumanji 4 is going to be the last in the series given their undeniable chemistry. However, something tells me they’ll find other ways to work together in the future. I do wonder if The Rock will find some way on set to get back at his co-star after this has gone viral.

Before filming for Jumanji 4 is done, I'm hopeful that we'll get treated to some more behind-the-scenes tidbits and videos. That includes some additional trolling between Kevin Hart and The Rock. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on December 11.

There’s a lot that goes into filming a movie, most of which the audience never sees, and Kevin Hart and other stars can attest to that. Action movie sets, like the one for the upcoming Jumanji 4, can be especially grueling. Long days and night shoots abound, and stars may even film the same action sequences 10 times, which sounds tiring. On that note, Hart’s photo roundup of him sleeping on the set make it hilariously clear just how exhausting movie sets are.

The final installment in the Jumanji franchise is finally in production, exactly 30 years after the first Jumanji premiered. With that, the series' current cast has been rounded up for one last final adventure. While I’m excited to see Jack Black, Karen Gillian, Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart reunited, I think maybe it’s a good idea that the producers are bringing this series to a close. Based on a recent Instagram post showing Hart hilariously asleep in costume while filming the movie, I’m not sure how much more of these sets he can take:

I’m just kidding, of course, as the star's need to get some shut eye probably has nothing to do with age. The comedian isn’t even that old, he’s only 46. Action/adventure films really are just that intense, even if he isn’t doing any of the major stunts himself. The Rock posted on Facebook that they were doing 12-14 hour days while filming the first Jumanji, filming primarily outdoors. So, despite Nikki Glaser’s recent Golden Globe dig at Jumanji being “next level,” I think the Upside actor has proved it really is.

Part of the exhaustion is that for movies like Jumanji, where they mostly film on location, actors are living in a trailer for a couple months or so. They are spending the majority of the days (and nights) filming, so the set is where they eat, celebrate major milestones and, yes, in Kevin Hart’s case, sometimes take catnaps.

Throughout those long days on a film set like Jumanji's, a star has to stay in costume, relatively ready to film at a moment's notice, hence Hart sleeping upright in his character’s signature safari scout outfit. So maybe it’s a blessing in disguise that he can fall asleep at a moment's notice, anywhere, at any time. I can’t say I blame any of them for catching some Zs where they can, I would be doing the same.

The grueling filming schedule pays off though, because Jumanji movies are very popular. Also, they're genuinely some of my personal favorite comedy films. Central Intelligence introduced us to the cinematic pairing that is The Rock and Kevin Hart but, in my opinion, Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle proved them an iconic acting duo. Throw in Jack Black and Karen Gillan, and I’m sat.

I can’t wait to see the whole ensemble back together, and witness their Robin Williams tribute, when Jumanji 4 finally hits the 2026 movie schedule later this year. In the meantime, let's just hope that as filming continues, Kevin Hart and co. have an ample amount of time to get some rest.

We have now entered the same calendar year that Avengers: Doomsday will be released, which makes the movie feel a lot closer than it did just a few days ago. While we still have several months to go before Doomsday hits theaters, those months will be spent with fans trying to figure out what will happen in the film. Luckily, Kevin Hart and Keenan Thompson are here to try to drag the truth out of Simu Liu.

Liu was a guest on Good Sports with Kevin Hart and Kenan Thompson, available with a Prime Video subscription, and of course, the pair wasn’t going to pass up the opportunity to try and get Doomsday spoilers from him. Hart straight up asked, “How does it end?” but when Liu didn’t budge, the duo attempted to suggest some different spoiler possibilities to see if Liu would react. The result is hilarious. When Liu doesn’t bite on “How does it end?” The pair tries and get the Shang-Chi star to react to different spoiler suggestions. My personal favorite has to be:

Because that would sell quite a few movie tickets for sure.

Simu Liu jokes that his “life is in danger” when the bit starts, because, to be sure, if there was any actual possibility that he might divulge a spoiler, he’d likely get in a lot of trouble. We’ve seen Marvel go to extreme lengths to prevent Tom Holland from saying too much, and Mark Ruffalo joked the reason he’s not in Avengers: Doomsday is that Marvel didn’t want him giving everything away.

The lengths Marvel goes to prevent spoilers leaking is so extreme that it makes Kevin Hart’s “How does it end?” joke even funnier. There’s a decent chance that, unless Simu Liu is directly involved in the finale, he might not even know how the movie ends. It’s not uncommon for the actors in these movies to only receive the script pages for the scene that they’re in, and even then, might only get partial information.

Actors have already talked about doing fight scenes against nothing, and not even knowing what or who it was they were in a scene with. If Simu Liu actually revealed everything he knew, it might not be that much at all.

The final of four teaser trailers for Avengers: Doomsday should hit the internet next week. After that, at some point, we’ll get a proper trailer that will likely give us at least a basic understanding of the story. Then the real wait begins, and the real questions start to get pressed to people like Simu Liu.

I have a job that has let me meet and speak with more than a few celebrities. But I’ll admit if I walked past a lot of them on the sidewalk, I’m sure there are a lot of famous people I probably wouldn’t recognize. That means I’d probably be out the $10,000 a woman just for picking out the real celebrity in a line-up of lookalikes.

In a setup that looks like Netflix’s Is It Cake?, only the cakes are famous people, Mr. Beast had a woman check out five “celebrities” which included Drake, Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Kevin Hart, and Sabrina Carpenter. The trick was that only one of the five celebrities was the real person. The woman had to keep her distance, which made the game a little tougher, but she pulled it off. Check out the video and see if you do.

A couple of the lookalikes feel like they’re intentionally off the mark. Drake doesn’t look that much like Drake, and unless Justin Bieber has really changed his look recently, which is possible, that doesn’t look that much like him to me But the other three, especially at a distance, could totally be who they claim to be.

I’m still not convinced that the Ed Sheeran lookalike isn’t really him. Is it possible that there were two celebrities in the group and they just never told us? I think the real guy has more tattoos that would be visible, but other than that, this guy would likely win a celebrity lookalike contest, and might even beat the real man.

Kevin Hart, the real celebrity in the mix, would have been hard to pick out because, while he says his face was doing “Kevin Hart stuff,” we don’t really see that in the video, which makes him less easy to identify. I feel like Kevin Hart always has a smile on his face, so seeing him look so serious makes it hard to be sure it’s really him.

I’ll be honest, a lot of Mr. Beast’s stunts, at least the ones that tend to get him noticed, tend to rub me the wrong way as they frequently seem to be designed to make a spectacle of normal people who take a shot at winning money. Of course, maybe I’m just jealous that I can’t afford to rent out Disneyland myself.

This one at least is mostly harmless. It’s a fun game, and it’s reasonably challenging. It’s an amount of money that would be really nice to win, but wouldn’t make most people feel like they’d ruined their life to not win it. Plus you get to meet a famous person. Not a bad deal.

There are lots of great ways to celebrate a birthday, and Karen Gillan revealed the stellar way she spent her's from the set of Jumanji. At the moment, the cast of the fourth Jumanji movie is in LA working on the final installment in the franchise, and the Ruby Roundhouse actress’s birthday is November 28. So, in celebration of all of that, the Guardians of the Galaxy star posted how she and the cast spent her special day.

While we won’t be able to celebrate Jumanji’s release on the 2026 movie schedule until later next year, we can celebrate Gillan’s birthday now. So, to do just that, take a look at the fun photo she uploaded to commemorate how she and the cast spent her big day on set:

OK, first of all, that cake looks amazing. I also love how happy Gillan looks alongside her co-stars, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart and Alex Wolff.

However, I think the best part of this post was the caption, because, along with commemorating the lovely event, she also threw light shade at Kevin Hart’s character, by calling out Mouse Finbar’s hilarious weakness in Jumanji, she wrote:

This made me laugh so much, and I love that it was both a solid joke and a good reminder of the funny strengths and weaknesses these characters have. I also am here for the fact that this isn’t the first time Gillan has called these facts out in a post, either. That’s because, when she posted about getting back into the Ruby Roundhouse costume, she made sure to note that her character is a skilled dance fighter.

Now, everyone in the Jumanji cast has been pretty actively posting about this upcoming movie. Dwayne Johnson has surprised fans and acknowledged Universal Studios Tours on a couple of occasions. Meanwhile, Kevin Hart uploaded an appreciation post for his stunt doubles.

These two guys also commented on Gillan’s birthday post. Hart even acknowledged his character’s funny weakness, writing:

I also love the fact that in the second image, as Gillan was blowing out the candles, Hart was shying away from the cake as he was holding it. While I’m sure that reaction was probably more fire-related than cake-related, knowing about Mouse’s weakness makes it incredibly funny (and fitting).

Meanwhile, The Rock’s comment for Gillan was equally as sweet and included some killer hashtags (pun intended):

Along with those two, Alex Wolff also took to his IG story to repost Gillan’s images and write that she is “the greatest ever.”

Overall, this post reiterates the enthusiasm and love this cast has for each other and the Jumanji movies. Now, I really can’t wait to see them all back in action when the fourth and final movie hits theaters on December 11, 2026.

Celebrity friendships are always such a joy to watch, but it does seem that many of us have a special appreciation for the bromances that have popped up over the years. And, it’s possible that no such famed friend duo is more fun than Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart. The two have spent nearly a decade starring in movies together, and have also made the most of that time by ripping on each other in numerous fiercely funny ways. So, it makes total sense that The Rock wouldn’t be able to congratulate Hart about beating WWE in Netflix’s ratings without also roasting him.

Wrestling fans are nearing the tail end of the first blockbuster year for WWE’s Raw on streaming (which you can watch with your Netflix subscription), and (for better or worse) Dwayne Johnson has definitely played a part in a lot of what we’ve seen. But, the service’s recent Top 10 TV shows just revealed that Kevin Hart’s 2025 TV schedule entry, the comedy special Acting My Age, came out on top, leaving Raw in the second spot. The Smashing Machine star took to his Instagram Stories to congratulate his friend, but not without getting a dig in:

You’ll see that he dedicated the congrats to “my guy who never acts his age,” but, really, would we have it any other way? One of the reasons that people love watching Hart is because of his sometimes completely silly sense of humor, and when the results get you box office hits and highly streamed comedy specials, who can argue with your methods?

The buddies began their co-star/good friend status with 2016’s Central Intelligence, having since starred in two Jumanji movies together, and are currently filming their final outing as video game avatars in Jumanji 4, with Karen Gillan and Jack Black. Hart also flew a long way to cameo in Hobbs & Shaw for Johnson, while the WWE superstar actually left his honeymoon early to replace his funny and diminutive friend on a talk show, so you know that their bond is real.

As could be expected, even with all the ways they’ve helped each other out over the years, they also get up to lots of ridiculousness, like most friends do. Johnson recently used a video of an owl to troll Hart in a weirdly spectacular way, while the Think Like a Man actor has done everything over the years from making fun of how the wrestler works out to trolling him over buying his mom a house.

Listen, we all love it whenever this bromance shows up on the big screen, but let’s hope they’re friends for many years to come so that we can also benefit from the way they take each other down for everyone’s enjoyment.

Can you believe we've been waiting six years to see what comes after that Jumanji: The Next Level ending? Finally, fans can look forward to a follow-up, considering Jumanji 4 is being filmed right now and is set to debut amid the 2026 movie schedule. Production recently kicked off in Los Angeles, California and, as expected, the cast and crew are hard at work. Amid filming, Kevin Hart is also celebrating his two stunt doubles in a way I really appreciate.

This weekend, Hart took to Instagram to share a photo of himself back in costume as Franklin "Mouse" Finbar, and he wasn't alone. Check out the snapshot he shared, which shows the comic standing alongside his on-set doubles:

You’re looking at LeRoyal Tutt on the left side of the photo and Samuel J. Paul on the right. Tutt has served as Hart’s stunt double on quite a few projects like True Story, Me Time, Die Hart and Lift. Meanwhile, Paul has been working with Hart for about a decade, as he’s been his stunt man on other movies, including Ride Along 2, Central Intelligence, the previous Jumanji movies and Borderlands, just to name a few.

In the social media post, Kevin Hart called the men his “brothers” who make “his movie world 100x better”. He pointed out how they have “years in” but that it feels like they're “just getting started.” There are movie stars who don’t highlight their stunt actors, and stunt work definitely isn't easy. So I love that Kevin Hart is making sure to take the time to show off that playing “Mouse” in this latest Jumanji movie is not something he alone can do.

Last week, Dwayne Johnson announced the untitled next Jumanji movie was in production by sharing photos from the cast table read. Johnson also surprised fans when he confirmed the upcoming movie would be the “final film” of the franchise. Since, The Rock, Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan have gotten back into costume and started filming in Los Angeles – specifically on the Universal Pictures Studios lot. Check out them all together:

Johnson also shared he’ll be paying tribute to Robin Williams this time around (who starred in the first Jumanji movie) by wearing necklace wearing a necklace adorned with the OG flick's prop dice. It's easy to wonder if the movie will have other references to the '90s film. And, considering the set photos, it's safe to say the video game characters have entered the real world.

The last Jumanji movie, The Next Level, hit theaters in December of 2019 and raked in $801 million worldwide against a reported $125 million budget. That installment was preceded by 2017’s Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, which was very close to hitting the $1 billion mark with a $962 million global haul against a reported $90 million budget.

Not much is known about this next Jumanji movie including its official title. Still, I'm excited to know its in production and happy to see Kevin Hart shouting out his stunt men and their contributions to the work. The film hits theaters on December 11, 2026, one week before Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part Three’s dual release.

When it comes to new shows hitting the 2026 TV schedule, and new films filling the 2026 movie calendar, Netflix often produces more output than just about any other platform or studio. That dominance is on display throughout June 2026 and the rest of the year, with the end of the month highlighted by the Harlen Coben mystery I Will Find You, the Tom Hanks-produced docuseries The American Experiment, the second season of Avatar: The Last Airbender, and the John Cena and Eric Andre comedy Little Brother, to name a few.

Now we’ve received a big update from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson after we were in the dark for awhile. The movie star just shared what’s going on with production, and signaled it will be the end of an era.

Over on Instagram, Johnson shared some video and photos of the cast getting back together in Los Angeles for a table read for the new Jumanji movie. Here’s what he wrote:

The end? We had no idea that the new Jumanji franchise would be concluding after three movies, but per his recent words, I guess it will soon be time to close the game again.

At the table read, The Rock was chiefly joined by Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan at the center of a long table to read the script for the untitled Jumanji movie that's officially in the works. As previously announced, it'll come to theaters on December 11, 2026. He also said this:

The first two modern Jumanji movies have certainly been consistently hilarious blockbusters, and it sounds like this third installment will be no different. You can check out the original post below:

The last Jumanji movie, The Next Level, came out back in 2019, making this sequel a long time coming. Its ending had the world of Jumanji once again colliding with the real world (like the Robin Williams-led movie), which led to theories about what should happen next. With that in mind, it definitely makes sense that the franchise might go back to the beginning before arriving to the end, but this post is kind of a random bomb dropped by Dwayne Johnson about what's going on with the Jumanji franchise.

In the post, Johnson also explained the significance of the dice necklace with a number three on it. The actor said it's a "little Easter egg" that his character of Dr. Smolder Bravestone wears in the upcoming movie. It's apparently the dice from the original 1995 movie as a way to pay "homage, love and respect to the great Robin Williams."

With Jumanji's production now getting started, we can definitely look forward to seeing it over the holiday season a little over a year from now. The movie that will once again be helmed by Jake Kasdan arrives one week before Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part Three come out on the same day. We can't wait to reenter the game with this latest of upcoming The Rock movies on the way.

The bromance between Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart is well documented by this point. By all accounts, Hart and Johnson have a firm friendship, and they’ve also collaborated on multiple films. Of course, what’s the point of being good friends if you can’t poke fun at or savagely roast each other from time to time? That’s exactly what Johnson and Hart enjoy doing, and the public seems to love it as well. On that note, The Rock teased his Jumanji co-star while discussing what it’s like working with another collaborator, Emily Blunt.

As of late, The Rock has been promoting his latest film, the A24 drama The Smashing Machine, which reteams him with his fellow Jungle Cruise alum Emily Blunt. The delightful pair recently sat down with Entertainment Tonight, during which they discussed the film as well as some other co-stars and projects. Interviewer Kevin Frazier told Rock that “Emily is a hell of an upgrade over Kevin Hart.” Blunt jokingly agreed with the assessment, before the wrestler-turned-actor added:

I mean… Dwayne Johnson’s not wrong, as Hart is indeed a physically diminutive actor. What has me chuckling is not only the zinger but the fact that Blunt also humorously joined in on the brief roasting as well. This isn’t even the first jab The Rock has taken at Hart in the past few months. In August, the Fast & Furious alum roasted Hart by editing the comic’s face onto a video of an owl that was watching him from a distance. While posing for a photo with Shaq, Johnson noted that the former NBA had him “out here lookin’ like Kevin Hart” due to their vast height difference. Needless to say, Johnson has jokes, and I love how he’s just keeping them coming.

Of course, the Think Like a Man star dishes out his fair share of barbs. At one point, he hilariously trolled a gym injury Johnson sustained (which wasn’t severe, of course). On another occasion, Hart threw shade at Johnson by sharing a throwback photo that showed the WWE icon sporting a jerry curl. (Now, if that’s not a cold way to come for someone, then I don’t know what is.)

Don’t let the long (and downright hilarious) history of Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart skewering each other mislead you, though. These two have talked each other up more than a few times over the years, and I’d imagine it’s their comfortability with one another that causes them to keep working together. Speaking of their collaborations, the two may be working together again sooner rather than later, given that Jumanji 4 is on the way. I personally look forward to the day on which Johnson and Hart finally bust each other’s chops on the big screen again.

Until then, fans will just have to settle for insults being hurled back and forth by way of social media or other means. Kevin Hart and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson may be professionals when they team up for movies like Central Intelligence, the cast of DC League of Super-Pets, and the action-packed, hilarious Jumanji movies. But when they aren't contributing new projects to the new movie release schedule, they still have a history of ripping into one another in the best way. The friendship trolling continues as “The Rock” posted a hilarious video that mocks the stand-up comic, but it’s also kind of a compliment.

The Jumanji co-stars make friendship pranking to an art form. Whether they are slapping each other with tortillas or joking over gym-related injuries, being an audience to their humorous banter is always entertaining for me as a fan. While things have been quiet on the trolling front for a while, Johnson's latest efforts were next level and even required some video editing. Take a look.

The video shows an owl hiding out in the brush while The Rock meditated, but if you stick around until the end of the video, someone enterprising (probably on the Rock's social team and not himself specifically) plunked Hart's head onto the creature! That’s just a tad creepy, but also hilarious. Of course, the Fast Five actor would compare the glaring eyes of an owl to his former co-star. I wouldn’t expect anything less in their continued trolling efforts.

Listen, I will just say owls are alleged to be wise, and an owl’s visit has been interpreted as a sign of protection. So, on the other hand you can see the Moana actor’s gag video as kind of a compliment. Sure, he could be jokingly calling his pal a creepy stalker of some sort. Or, Dwayne Johnson could be saying that Kevin Hart will always be there for him, even in unexpected places.

The two actors have kept busy-but-apart as of late. We’ll be seeing Johnson in The Smashing Machine, where he’ll portray wrestler Mark Kerr. Hart is in the middle of filming his upcoming Netflix movie 72 Hours about a 40-year-old executive who joins twenty-somethings on a three-day bachelor trip after accidentally being added to their group chat.

While the two pals are capable of achieving success on their own, I’d love to see them tag-team again on a new film. Maybe our wish will come true with a fourth Jumanji movie, where Kevin Hart said in 2023 that he and Dwayne Johnson are “getting the ball rolling” on some ideas for another potential sequel. Whether it’s a new Jumanji movie or a completely different comedy, this duo is due for some more screentime again.

In a series of photos posted by Shaquille O’Neal on Instagram, the NBA legend shared a backstage moment with The Rock and a guest at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. What stood out? The sheer size difference. Standing next to Shaq, Johnson looked almost, dare we say, average-sized. Naturally, the wrestler turned Hollywood a-lister took it like a champ—and turned it into the perfect opportunity to roast his longtime friend in the comments:

A bunch of commenters tagged Hart, obviously waiting for one of his classic clapbacks. As of now, the comedian-turned-Hollywood star hasn't responded yet, but I'm super excited to see if he says anything!

It’s classic Rock-and-Kevin (KRock?). The two have built an entire side career out of hilariously trolling each other across social media, interviews and other press events Whether it’s Johnson mocking Hart’s height or Hart teasing the Black Adam star’s action movies and bald head or “presidential energy,” the back-and-forth has become one of Hollywood’s most beloved celebrity bromances (And some even think it's a conspiracy.)

But this latest social media moment also highlighted something else: just how massive Shaquille O’Neal is. At over 7 feet tall and weighing in at over 300 pounds, the former Lakers star dwarfed both Johnson and his companion. It’s no surprise the box office titan felt compelled to crack a joke. When even a 6’5”, 260-pound action hero looks like a fun-sized version of himself, there’s really only one way to handle it: cracking jokes.

To his credit, the Rampage actor has always been great at mixing self-deprecation with star power. Promoting a billion-dollar franchise or dropping a tequila brand, The Rock never misses the chance to laugh at himself or drag his buddy Hart into the punchline.

So, now, the ball is in the Ride Along star’s court. Given his reputation for roasting the Fast & Furious alum in return, there's at least a firm chance that a comeback is imminent. Will it be another video edit with a baby voice filter? A Photoshopped meme? A fake text thread? With Hart, anything is possible, and that’s why fans love it.

In the meantime, both stars are staying busy. Dwayne Johnson is set to take a dramatic turn in A24’s upcoming Mark Kerr biopic, The Smashing Machine, hitting theaters October 3. Meanwhile, Hart has multiple projects on the way, including a Netflix comedy called 72 Hours.

We always enjoy it when some of our biggest stars show that they don’t take themselves too seriously. One such famous fellow is comedian and all around superstar Kevin Hart, who’s taken his status as a person with a slight vertical challenge and made lemonade out of the short lemons that life handed him. He’s been known to make fun of his height, but a recent post is really making me laugh by driving the point home.

What Did Kevin Hart Post That Pokes Fun At His Height?

Though everyone knows Kevin Hart as the funny man who can crack us up as a stand-up comedian or in movies like the Jumanji franchise (which is preparing another sequel), he’s also somewhat famous for being a “short king” of the entertainment world. The actor (who recently confirmed his height of 5’5” to Anderson Cooper) recently attended Fanatics Fest in New York City, and while posting about the event on Instagram, made note of just how many other stars in attendance towered over him in the funniest way. I mean, just look:

WOW. Alright, first of all, while The Upside talent (who actually liked co-star Bryan Cranston’s nightmare impression of him) is clearly not sitting with any of the people he’s taking pictures with in this post, one who’s unaware of his small stature might at first think he is. Not only does everyone absolutely tower over Hart, but Dwayne Johnson’s buddy and frequent on-screen collaborator even went so far as to just go ahead and cut off the heads of everyone he was photographed with!

The fan event he attended is generally focused on giving regular folks a chance to meet and interact with celebrities who are mostly from the world of sports. NFL, NBA and WWE talent were among those who participated this year, and they tend to be some very tall people. However, someone else who was at the festival this time around was popular YouTuber Kai Cenat, who recently caught some comedic pushback from Hart after he called the actor a “little leprechaun.”

The Hart to Heart host is very well practiced now at not only poking a bit of fun at himself, but being willing to allow others to do so, as well. He and his aforementioned WWE superstar friend have been known to roast and troll each other, despite how often they star in projects together. And, after Hart and Kenan Thompson did commentary for the 2024 Olympics, the SNL cast member celebrated their work in Paris by revealing to everyone that Hart’s feet didn’t even touch the floor as he sat behind their desk.

I think his commitment to making fun of his height is admirable, and, on top of that, I bet it’s made many people love him and his sense of humor even more.

The trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs is certainly gaining a lot of media attention due to the accused being a famous rapper and media mogul. However, that’s not the only reason so many people are following the trial closely. Many of the charges surround exactly what took place at the often massive parties Diddy has thrown in the past, and many of those parties had a lot of major celebrities in attendance.

Now, Brad Pitt, as far as anybody knows, never attended one of Diddy’s White Parties, which made it that much more interesting when his name actually did come up during testimony at Diddy’s trial. His name is just one among many that have been mentioned, or likely will be, as the trial continues, so let's discuss why.

Celebrities Who Attended Diddy’s Parties

While many celebrities have been playing down their relationship with Diddy following his arrest, a lot of names had previously been connected to the rapper because we knew they went to his various parties. Jennifer Lopez once dated Diddy, and their relationship was originally confirmed when they were spotted at one of his parties together. Lebron James is another star who we know attended some of Diddy's parties in the past.

There’s been viral video of Kevin Hart in attendance at a Diddy party, and Ashton Kutcher has been asked, and avoided answering questions, about what went on at the parties in the past. If Brad Pitt had appeared at one of those parties, it honestly wouldn’t have been out of place. However, despite the fact that he didn't attend one, his name came up at trial for a very different reason.

How Brad Pitt’s Name Came Up At Diddy’s Trial

Brad Pitt came up during testimony this week by a former assistant to Diddy, who testified (via People) under the pseudonym “Mia.” Mia was with Diddy and his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura when they attended the 2012 Cannes Film Festival premiere of Brad Pitt’s movie Killing Them Softly.

Mia testified that Combs and Ventura were speaking in the theater when the rapper became agitated and began “digging his nails into her arms.” Diddy then allegedly told Ventura to leave, which she did, despite the fact that, in Mia’s words, “no one ever leaves in the middle of a premiere event.”

Interestingly, People reported at the time that Combs was in attendance at a party that Pitt threw following the premiere. So while Pitt never attended one of Diddy’s parties, the reverse is actually true.

The party was so long ago that Brad Pitt had only just become engaged to Angelina Jolie. At the time, it was reported that Combs had shared a drink with Pitt to congratulate him on this big moment.

Tensions were high on a recent installment of Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim’s sports centered talk show, First Take. Their guest was none other than “Streamer of the Year” winner Kai Cenat, who showed exactly why he gets so many views. The 23-year-old influencer is known for doing, and saying, whatever he feels like, earning him both fans and haters alike. Well, this TV appearance was no different, and the heated discussion somehow led to some digs at Kevin Hart’s height, and the comic later shared a direct response.

The debate in question took a turn for the worst when Kai Cenat challenged his host’s hooping abilities. The ESPN analyst was quite offended at the YouTuber’s audacity to even question his skills as a baller and started pondering Cenat’s own basketball skills. This led to Stephen A. Smith comparing his guest to Kevin Hart, as the comedian is well known for being very short. A viral video posted to First Take’s X account, captures the Any Means Possible streamer’s thoughts:

Cenat is 5’4”, and Kevin Hart is supposedly 5’5” (with shoes on). After those comments were made, TMZ caught up with the Jumanji actor, and Hart did not hold back in his response to Twitch streamer’s sentiments:

While it may seem like the Lift actor was offended, the video shows the comedian smiling as he curses out the social media phenom. By, the looks of it, this was all in good fun for Hart, as he and the Good Burger 2 actor are actually friendly. Just before telling Cenat off, he also tells the paparazzi the media personality is “Dope as hell.”

Since he appearing on Kai Cenat’s Twitch live stream, the Man From Toronto star has seemingly become something of a mentor to the social media influencer. While appearing on iHeart Radio’s The Breakfast Club podcast, Hart praised the internet personality’s comedic talents, and Cenat’s natural ability to make relatable and entertaining content people want to see. (That includes the time he reacted to Snoop Dogg rolling a joint in under 20 seconds.) The comic also told the hosts he even offered the streamer some experienced advice and shared some ideas to continue building his audience.

While Kevin Hart's comment was more of a playful jab if anything, the same cannot be said for the chat between Stephen A. Smith and Kai Cenat. Before things got personal, their original discussion centered around LeBron James and Michael Jordan, debating the age old question: who is the basketball GOAT? The SportsCenter contributor is an OG Jordan stan, whereas the Gen-Z social media star stood his ground as a LeBron James defender, boldly claiming King James is better than the legendary Chicago Bulls guard.

As for Kevin Hart, I'm not too surprised that he didn't take serious offense to Kai Cenat's declaration, given how self-deprecating he can be. Hart's even poked fun at his height himself from time to time. The comedian also seems to have a good attitude about people making jokes at his expense or imitating him. For instance, Hart is a fan of Bryan Cranston's impersonation of him. If anything, this latest back-and-forth could just signify a funny topic for Cenat and Hart to discuss the next time they cross paths in private or team up for a livestream.

Kevin Hart’s best movies show that the comedy actor has an infectious energy. Anyone who’s seen enough of the stand-up comic’s material or worked with the talented actor can probably easily do a good impersonation of him. His The Upside co-star Bryan Cranston sure can, and has showed an amused Hart his own imitation of him – which is also the stuff of nightmares, if I do say so myself.

Hart has a distinctive voice that would be humorous for anyone to try to imitate. His quick-paced style and animated tone truly make the Primetime Emmy nominee a lot of fun to watch. Just when you thought that The Rock was the only one who could destroy Hart with a hilarious impression, though, a throwback Instagram video proves that another co-star slays at channeling his inner Hart. The Jumanji actor and Bryan Cranston had a fun conversation on The LOL Network in 2019 where the Breaking Bad actor showed Hart his impression of him. While the on-point impersonation is hilarious, you can argue it’s also the stuff of nightmares:

Of all the actors out there, I never would have thought Bryan Cranston could pull off a Kevin Hart impression. It’s impossible not to crack a smile while watching this hilarious video. Cranston's quick phrases and intense delivery are perfect! Clearly, the Think Like a Man actor was more than satisfied with his former co-star’s impression, as he couldn’t stop laughing.

On the other hand, I’m also incredibly freaked out at just how accurate Bryan Cranston is sounding like Kevin Hart. It's almost like you can have the Little Miss Sunshine actor on the phone as the Ride Along actor and probably not know the difference. Cranston may use dark, sarcastic humor to play the best Breaking Bad character, Walter White, but we may forget the goofy side to him that he showed off as Hal in Malcolm in the Middle. It’s nice to see that fun side of him come out once again.

While we know Kevin Hart mostly for making us laugh, his switch from comedy to drama in The Upside was perfect for the actor. It was the perfect chance for Hart to show us he can hit our emotions well playing a recently paroled convict who takes a job caring for a quadriplegic billionaire. He and Bryan Cranston have great chemistry that brings fun, humor, and a lot of heart to the drama. Before The Upside started filming, the Asteroid City actor admitted he didn’t know if Hart was right for the movie since it strays away from the slapstick comedy he’s used to being in. But after the two met at a restaurant and saw how they related to one another, Cranston knew the pair would work well with one another.

Bryan Cranston’s scarily accurate impression of Kevin Hart shows just how well he got to know the Night School actor during their time in The Upside and that his distinct voice can be contagious. As Hart’s larger-than-life personality can’t go unnoticed, Cranston clearly couldn’t resist imitating his co-star’s energy and delivery. But, I'm still weirded out hearing the comedian's voice coming out of the Your Honor actor and am really curious who else he can imitate. The 2025 NBA All-Star Game played out in Oakland, California last weekend (amid the 2025 TV schedule), where a new tournament-style format was utilized for the big game on Sunday. Viewers seemed to be relatively mixed about the massive changes to the annual basketball showcase. Another change this year involved the inclusion of comedian Kevin Hart as both an emcee and commentator. It seems that fans weren’t all that enthusiastic about his punditry, and even some of the players had problems with that and more.

Kevin Hart has long been a basketball fan and has frequently been spotted at games over the years. When it comes to All-Star events, he’s participated in multiple celebrity basketball games, winning MVP honors four times. This year marks his biggest role to date in the production of the annual weekend festivities. Hart has amassed quite a following due to his comedic prowess but, based on what a number of viewers shared on X, his commentary left something to be desired. Check out some of the responses:

This wasn’t the first time Mr. Hart had hosted in some capacity. During the Paris Olympics last summer, Hart provided commentary alongside Kenan Thompson. The comedian also currently hosts his own talk show, Hart to Heart, which is available to stream with a Peacock subscription. Nevertheless, dishing up analysis during a sporting event is vastly different. Hart’s critiques didn’t seem to sit well with some of the folks involved in the game, with one notable person being Oklahoma City Thunder phenom Shai Gilgeous-Alexander:

Gripes from current and former players weren’t limited to the Lift star’s comments. They also seemed to have a problem with how the events on Sunday night were organized. On ESPN’s First Take, ex-player Kendrick Perkins also laid into the inclusion of the “Mr. Beast Challenge” as well as the awkwardly timed Inside the NBA tribute. As seen in the YouTube video, Perkins didn’t hold back:

Boston Celtics star and Jordan Brand signee Jayson Tatum also wasn’t fully pleased with how everything played out as evidenced by a press conference video shared to Reddit. The NBA champion did say that he thought the new format for the game was solid, though he found the long break between the action to be somewhat difficult:

Over the past several years, the NBA has tried to find ways to revitalize All-Star Weekend, especially the main game, due to somewhat lackluster competitions. What the league does next year for the weekend in Inglewood, California remains to be seen. Considering the response to Kevin Hart’s role, I’m curious to see whether he retains his duties for 2026. As for Hart himself, he’s never been one to listen to critics, so I’d expect he’ll move forward accordingly.

Anderson Cooper has become a reliable and trusted American broadcaster since his beginnings in the field. And while many fans like me chose to ring in the 2025 TV schedule with him on New Year’s Eve, his career continues to showcase his journalistic eye knows no bounds. Kevin Hart and his height is one of the most recent, pointed endeavors Cooper tackled that the public needed confirming.

Anderson Cooper, a correspondent for 60 Minutes, discussed with Hart about balancing his stand-up career with owning an entertainment company among other ventures. Via the CBS new show's Instagram, the interview stretched to off-beat questions, including the comedian’s height. The CBS journalist led into the inquiry by sharing other sources who have noted the Ride Along star’s measurements previously, saying:

Despite the inconsistent reporting, the Anderson Cooper 360° host was sweet, frank and to the point in sharing the gathered info on the Central Intelligence actor. You can always count on Cooper to jump into any of these debated discrepancies and straighten it out for the rest of us.

During the lighter question, the duo shared a good laugh over the various reports before Hart jumped in with who had his height right and didn’t (and how it changes depending on shoe choices). He stated:

With the discourse laid to rest, officially, we can once again thank the tenured reporter for delivering this fun answer. And Hart’s note of varying heights, dependent on footwear, clears up the mixed numbers. It seems, without shoes though, the Times may have the official measurement if the entrepreneur.

Beyond Kevin Hart juggling standup with business ventures, he has plenty of other projects ahead. Most notably, the Hart-Ice Cube franchise has confirmed Ride Along 3 and is in development now along with a remake of Planes, Trains and Automobiles and The Great Outdoors. None of the three movies are slated for the 2025 movie schedule, but perhaps we'll see them during 2026. It’ll be interesting to see these reboots continue to develop and how they will fare when they get released.

Both Arnold Schwarzenegger and his son Patrick Schwarzenegger have been quite busy in recent years, with the former branching out via Netflix as the latter added quarterbacking in American Sports Story and super-scorching in Gen V to his burgeoning filmography. The younger actor is set to stress out in paradise for HBO’s The White Lotus Season 3, but will first join his popular pops and tons of other A+ talents amidst the newly revealed full cast list for Prime Video’s upcoming TV series Secret Level.

The upcoming animated anthology series, which will premiere on December 10, is being billed as a “celebration of games and gamers,” and its episodes will feature some of video game-dom’s most iconic locations. Now we know those sights will be joined by equally iconic sounds thanks to a whopper of a cast list that Amazon MGM Studios unveiled for New York Comic-Con. Here’s that full lineup of stars from the Star Wars universe, The Last of Us, Vikings, The Matrix and beyond, including the aforementioned pair.

This series will be mark the first time both Arnold and Patrick Schwarzenegger will share space in the same TV series’ credits, and it'll also be a first for many of the other cast members like Keanu Reeves. Of course, we're admittedly still unclear whether or not the father and son will actually be involved in the same episode or not. I can't imagine they'd be cast for completely separate installments, even if they wouldn't necessarily be playing similarly related characters. It just seems silly.

Secret Level is definitely one of the most unique upcoming video game TV shows, though it's hard to know whether or not the term "adaptation" counts, since these will be original stories within familiar worlds. But how it's described doesn't matter so much as whether it's handled well or not.

Deadpool director Tim Miller is at the helm, and is bringing Secret Level to life through his own Blur Studio, where his Netflix creation Love + Death + Robots' episodes were crafted. So there's definitely reason to believe the show will kick major ass, and the newest key art seen below doesn't inspire reason to believe otherwise.

Amazon MGM also revealed that Secret Level will be available to stream with an Amazon Prime subscription on Tuesday, December 10, with two episodes releasing weekly.

Here's hoping we won't have to wait until that point to learn which roles Arnold and Patrick Schwarzenegger will be playing, since that could be a major hook in getting potential viewers to watch regardless of if they care about video games or not. But for those of us who do care, how awesome would it be if Merle Dandridge reprised her role as The Last of Us' Marlene for this show after being her live-action counterpart in HBO's series? I'd be just as happy to see Luna's Tommy, too.

As Diddy remains in prison awaiting trial on federal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, the topic on everyone’s minds seems to be the infamous parties he would throw. Several details of the so-called “Freak Offs” have come out since Sean Combs’ September 16 arrest — including that authorities confiscated 1,000 bottles of lube — and the spotlight is shining on celebrities with connections to those gatherings. Kevin Hart is amongst the people who previously partied with P. Diddy, but now he appears to be trying to distance himself from the music mogul.

Kevin Hart Sidesteps Questions About Diddy’s ‘Freak Off’ Parties

Kevin Hart was approached by the media while out to dinner in West Hollywood recently with his wife Eniko. The Borderlands actor, however, wasn’t too forthcoming when he was asked about his involvement in the parties and if he had seen the infamous bottles of baby oil and lubricant. Hart replied (per the Daily Mail:

The comedian repeated that sentiment when someone asked him if he thought P. Diddy would be safe in jail. The questions — whether they were the wrong ones or not — came about a week after a video of Kevin Hart hosting one of Diddy’s parties resurfaced and went viral.

As people begin to look back on everything we know about Sean “Diddy” Combs and his infamous get-togethers, a video from over a decade ago resurfaced that showed Kevin Hart playing host. In the viral video, the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star stood between two women in bikinis, as a nude woman in a bathtub sat behind him — who Hart described as “butt bald.”

The video took a strange and scary turn when the woman in the tub got too close to one of the many lit candles, and her hair caught on fire. She was able to quickly put it out, as a highly amused Kevin Hart demanded that the camera be shut off. Other videos show the actor saying afterward that the woman was OK.

It remains to be seen how the life and careers of Kevin Hart and other celebrities with connections to Diddy will be affected by the federal case. While many of the rapper’s friends are choosing to stay silent, Hart is certainly not the only one to have past comments resurfacing. A remark from Ashton Kutcher — who also has come under fire for his support of Danny Masterson — has also been circulating in which the actor said he saw “a lot” of things that he “can’t tell.”

Kendra Wilkinson, meanwhile, felt the need to clarify recent statements she made about her time partying with Diddy and at the Playboy Mansion after she said on a podcast that “nothing bad ever happened to me.”

As we wait to find out what happens with Sean Combs’ trial, we will also have to see if Kevin Hart or any other celebrities see any backlash due to their own involvement in the “Freak Outs.”

Robert De Niro first became a regular at chef Nobu Matsuhisa's LA sushi joint Nobu way back in the 1980s. In the mid-90s, De Niro approached Matsuhisa about opening a New York spot. Nobu opened in 1994 in Tribeca and the company has since become a powerhouse in the hospitality industry, with dozens of restaurants and hotels all over the world. 

Michael Imperioli - Scarlet

White Lotus star Michael Imperioli has dabbled in the restaurant industry for a long time. In the mid-'90s Imperioli and his wife opened a speakeasy-style bar called Ciel Rouge, in Tribeca. Almost 30 years later, and 20 after Ciel Rouge closed in 2005, the couple opened Scarlet on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. It sticks with the classy, chill speakeasy vibe that made their first venture successful. 

Sandra Bullock - Walton's Fancy & Staple

Walton's Fancy & Staple in Austin, TX, is pretty much exactly what you would expect from Sandra Bullock. It's an upscale neighborhood place with hearty food and a cheery atmosphere. Walton's is the Speed star's second restaurant in her adopted hometown. The first, Bess Bistro, closed in 2016 after a successful 10-year run. Walton's opened in 2009.

Dan Aykroyd - House Of Blues

One of Dan Aykroyd's most beloved SNL characters, Elwood Blues of The Blues Brothers, has proven to be more than just a role for the actor. On Thanksgiving Day 1992, Aykroyd and his partner Isaac Tigrett (who founded the Hard Rock Cafe), opened the first House of Blues in Cambridge, MA. It has since grown into one of the largest chains of live music venues in the world, and serves some pretty delicious food, too.

Eva Longoria can do no wrong on the big and small screens, but she didn't have much luck in the restaurant industry. Her steakhouse in LA, Beso, ran into multiple problems in its short run, though none were the fault of the actress. 

Kevin Hart - Hart House

Kevin Hart's LA chain Hart House was ambitious. He wanted to create an affordable vegan chain, and despite rave reviews, it just couldn't make it in the market. The company closed all of its locations in 2024 after initially finding success. 

Issa Rae - Hilltop Coffee And Kitchen

Issa Rae is a true force of nature both in front of and behind the camera. She's also found success in the food industry. Hilltop Coffee And Kitchen brings high-end coffee vibes to historical Black neighborhoods in LA, like Inglewood and View Park. 

Danny Trejo - Trejo's Tacos

Everyone loves tacos and every loves Danny Trejo. So of course a concept like Trejo's Tacos is sure to work and it has succeeded greatly. The chain has multiple locations across LA and has even spawned a second concept: Trejo's Donuts which also opened to rave reviews. 

Channing Tatum - Saints And Sinners

Saints And Sinners, a bar on Bourbon Street in New Orleans co-owned by Channing Tatum was a wild success... at least for a time. The industry is notoriously fickle and Tatum and his partners learned that the hard way when the bar closed in the summer of 2024 after 12 great years. 

Justin Timberlake - The Twelve Thirty Club

Justin Timberlake first dabbled in the food industry in the early teens when he helped design a Memphis-style BBQ joint in New York City called Southern Hospitality. Though he wasn't an owner, he was involved in the concept phase of the place and was a regular there. More recently, he has teamed up with restauranteur Sam Fox to open The Twelve Thirty Club in Nashville. 

Nicholas Braun - Jac’s On Bond

Cousin Greg may not always get the most respect on Succession, but the actor who plays him, Nicholas Braun, sure gets respect in the hospitality industry. Braun is an investor in multiple restaurants in New York City, including a chill bar and restaurant called Jac's on Bond Street in the trendy NoHo neighborhood. 

Zach Braff - Mermaid Oyster Bar

MacDougal Street in New York's Greenwich Village is home to some great restaurants, like the legendary Caffe Reggio and Mamoun's Falafels. It's also where you can find Zach Braff's more upscale, but still laid-back seafood spot appropriately called Mermaid Oyster Bar. 

Anthony Mackie - NoBar

Like others on this list (and in the world), Anthony Mackie has had mixed results as a bar/restaurant owner. His most famous spot, NoBar, opened in Brooklyn in 2011, followed by a second Booklyn location in 2013. Sadly both closed in 2015. 

Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis - Planet Hollywood

The granddaddy of all actor-owned restaurants has to be Planet Hollywood. The first Planet Hollywood opened in New York City in 1991. Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Bruce Willis, among others, were all investors in the concept and, at least at first, the restaurant was a huge success, opening additional locations across the globe. At its peak, there were upwards of 60 locations in the late '90s, but the fun didn't last. Things started to unravel and the stars started to jump shit and most of the locations, other than their most successful ones, closed. 

Richard Gere - Bedford Post Inn

Legendary actor Richard Gere doesn't just own a restaurant, he owns an 8-room bed and breakfast called the Bedford Post Inn in... appropriately, Bedford, NY. The stylish and quaint inn does include a spot to eat, the Bedford Post Tavern, and the inn and the restaurant both draw all kinds of celebrities for a restful stay or a delicious dinner. 

Robert Redford - Zoom

It shouldn't come as any surprise to learn that Robert Redford's former restaurant in Park City, UT was home to a lot of home to a lot powerbrokers during the Sundance Film Festival for many years. Prior to closing in 2016, the hot spot was where the elite met to eat and strike deals during one of the biggest film festivals in the world. 

Hugh Jackman - Laughing Man Coffee

The origin story for Hugh Jackman's Laughing Man Coffee is one of the best on this list. The Aussie actor and his wife took a trip to Ethiopia to learn more about coffee and how the beans were grown. There, according to the coffee shop's website, Jackman met a coffee farmer named Dukale. Dukale gave Jackman a real hands-on experience and after the trip, he and some partners opened Laughing Man Coffee with the goal of working directly with farmers around the world to bring their coffee to New Yorkers. 

Jon Bon Jovi - Soul Kitchen And JBJ's

Jon Bon Jovi may be most famous for being the voice of the band named after him, but he's dabbled a lot in acting, and a little in the hospitality biz. His first venture was started by his foundation and called Soul Kitchen. The restaurant, located in Red Bank, NJ, sells food for whatever hungry customers can afford. Bon Jovi has also opened a spot on the famous Broadway strip in Nashville called JBJ's which features live music and a full menu, in addition to beer and booze, of course.

Piper Perabo - Jack's Wife Freda

Piper Perabo got her big break playing a bartender in Coyote Ugly and while the New York City chain she's an investor in, called Jack's Wife Frida, doesn't feature half-dressed women dancing on the bar, it's got something even better: delicious Mediterranean food. With five locations across the city, you can always find what you're craving, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 

Jessica Biel - Au Fudge

Au Fudge, which closed its doors in 2018, was something unique in the celebrity restaurant world - a kid's restaurant. As the name implies, Jessica Biel's spot was all about dessert and candy. It also had all the stuff kids love, like chicken fingers, on the menu. The world needs more of these, right parents?

Debi Mazar - The Tuscan Gun

They also worked on Dogma in the 1990s, then, after nearly 25 years, they joined forces again to write and star in The Last Duel, and since then have also worked together on Air and the upcoming RIP for Netflix.

If only these two powerhouse stars had already been in more movies together…Denzel Washington and Don Cheadle’s first pairing was as P.I. Michelle Yeoh has been a star for several decades, and part of that reason is because of her breakout role in the 1992’s Supercop, which also starred Jackie Chan. But, they’ve made a number of other films with each other, including Supercop 2, and Hong Kong action films Twinkle, Twinkle, Lucky Stars, Project S, and both voiced characters in Kung Fu Panda 2, along with having starred in a 1984 watch commercial together.

Every four years, the Olympics gives sports fans around the world many amazing moments, and the 2024 Paris Olympics (which you can still stream online using your Peacock subscription) was no different. Kevin Hart returned to provide his take on highlights from the games again, but with Saturday Night Live star Kenan Thompson this time around. After Thompson absolutely roasted his co-host for his feet not touching the floor during their coverage, one fan offered up a priceless comment.

Of course, watching our favorite athletes win is far from the only entertainment we get from tuning in for the Olympics, as famous folks from across many disciplines often allow us to do some prime celeb-watching (like Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling) by attending the games or actually providing commentary on events. Though Kevin Hart’s ever-popular co-commentator from the Tokyo Olympics, Snoop Dogg, moved on to a different highly-paid gig during the 2024 games, the Borderlands cast member continued to knock it out of the park with SNL’s Kenan Thompson. Now that their jobs are done, Thompson roasted Hart for his well-known, um, vertical challenge and a fan came correct with the perfect comment. Take a look!

Oooooooooh! Not only is the video itself perfect, with the camera slowly zooming in on the fact that the 5’4” comedian’s feet didn’t touch the floor during his Olympic broadcasts with Thompson (and he was swinging his feet to boot, with voice over audio seemingly taken from someone who was cheering on a child), but we need to pay special attention to one fan’s comment. Observe:

WOOOO! Oh, boy. Did they nail it or what? Not only is this, obviously, a casual but top-tier short joke, but it’s also true that we really do have to hand it to Hart. The man has, of course, always been aware of his…shortcomings (I had to. You know that. Sorry not sorry to all my short kings and queens out there.) and decided long ago to get ahead of the jokes and just make fun of his height himself.

The Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle actor has made his height a part of many of his stand up routines over the years, and was even roasted by fans a couple of years ago when he made his son sit for a family Christmas photo so he wouldn’t be seen as shorter than the youngster in the picture. And, speaking of the aforementioned family film franchise, the star’s partnership with the behemoth that is The Rock has frequently played on the massive difference in size between them when they’re on screen and in their real life friendship, which has a long history of Hart and Dwayne Johnson ripping on each other.

Basically, we can almost be completely sure that Hart will approve of these roasts about his height, and probably has a million more locked and loaded for his next talk show appearance.

Kevin Hart is known first and foremost as a comedian, but with this past weekend’s release of Borderlands, he’s making the jump to full-fledged action star. This would, of course, require a different approach, but thankfully, Hart is already a massive fitness buff. For Borderlands, though, he decided to take things up a notch, and in the process he earned the respect of his hulking co-star Florian Munteanu.

Munteanu is a former professional boxer who has recently come up in Hollywood through playing big, intimidating characters like the Creed franchise’s Viktor Drago and the villainous Razor Fist in Shang Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings. When speaking of Kevin Hart’s foray into action star mode, he confessed that he initially had some doubts, but it was Hart’s work ethic that helped win him over:

If you take a look at Florian Munteanu's size, it’s rather obvious that he spends a lot of time in the gym. The fact that he felt outdone by Kevin Hart is impressive. Not only that, but the relatively new actor found it to be rather inspiring, as he went on to say:

As previously mentioned, Kevin Hart is no stranger to fitness, and he even keeps us updated with the occasional, impressive workout post. He’s also no stranger to action, or at least action-comedy, which is obvious given that he has starred alongside Dwayne Johnson in some of The Rock’s best movies. When you have physical spectacles like he and John Cena as creative collaborators, it’s easy to imagine holding oneself to a higher standard. Despite this, Hart went even harder on his first action-forward role and updated the fans with a shirtless pic after getting ripped for Borderlands:

You can head to a theater right now to see Kevin Hart hold his own alongside the hulking Florian Munteanu in Borderlands! The film has a stacked cast including Jamie Lee Curtis and Cate Blanchett, and is just the beginning of the exciting blockbusters coming our way on the latter half of the 2024 movie release schedule.

Coming off of one of the best years for video game movies with offerings like The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Gran Turismo and Five Nights at Freddy’s, the scene seemed all but set for projects like Borderlands to crush the 2024 movie schedule, especially with a cast that includes Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Ariana Greenblatt, Jamie Lee Curtis and more. However, fans were given pause when it was learned the adaptation wouldn’t carry an R-rating, and those fears seemed to be warranted, as Eli Roth’s Borderlands has opened to a single-digit Rotten Tomatoes score and some pretty brutal comments from critics.

It definitely wasn’t a great sign for the movie adaptation of Borderlands when first reactions called it “repulsive dud.” As the sci-fi action comedy hits theaters on August 9, the movie holds a 6% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Let’s see what critics are saying, starting with CinemaBlend’s review of Borderlands. Eric Eisenberg rates the film just 1.5 stars out of 5, saying it was naive to ignore all of this film’s red flags, because it is “a total mess.” He explains:

Neil Smith of GamesRadar speaks to those red flags in his assessment — giving the movie 2 stars out of 5 — and warns fans of the video game that they may loathe this adaptation. Smith says:

Alison Foreman of IndieWire grades the movie a C-, saying the choice to make Borderlands a PG-13 movie and hire Eli Roth to do so resulted in a film that both betrays the hyper-violent video game that fans will be looking for and is still probably too mature for the younger audience who might enjoy the shallow story. Foreman writes:

Aaron Neuwirth of We Live Entertainment is one of many critics saying Eli Roth seemed to be going for the Guardian of the Galaxies misfit vibes. However, the critic says this project suggests no work was put into making the movie “funny, memorable, dramatically compelling” or interesting in any way. Neuwirth gives it a User Rating of 4, writing:

Another Guardians comparison comes from Matt Donato of IGN, who rates Borderlands an “Awful” 3 out of 10, calling it “a catastrophic disappointment” and a “hideous-as-sin recreation.” Donato writes that it’s an “inexcusably dull, one-dimensional chore of a movie [that] captures none of the creative chaos, exploration, or action-packed hilarity of the games that inspired it.” Yikes! And he continues:

From these and other critics’ reactions, it seems Borderlands may not end up on anybody’s list of best video game movies, but if you’re interested in seeing what Eli Roth’s latest movie is all about, you should definitely feel free to check it out and draw your own conclusions. In honor of Black Business Month, here are 15 celebrities who’ve come up with successful businesses.

Tracee Ellis Ross

You know Tracee Ellis Ross for starring in one of the best sitcoms of all time, black-ish, and as the daughter of famous celebrity parent Diana Ross. What you may not know is that she founded Pattern Beauty in late 2019. Inspired by her hairstylist’s suggestion for clients to wear wigs to look like Ross, she was instead focused on creating products for textured, curly hair. 

Ross' Pattern Beauty started with four people, seven products, and Macy’s as the only retail partner. It has since grown to 30 employees, over 50 products, and 10 retail partners, including Sephora and Ulta Beauty. The High Note actress credits her business’s marketing strategy with focusing on celebrating hair compared to solving problems using standout products like the Pattern Blow Dryer specifically for textured hair.

Kevin Hart

American comedian Kevin Hart, known for making us laugh in his best movies, founded Laugh Out Loud Productions in 2007 to create and distribute comedy content. Originally a subscription comedy streaming service, it partnered with platforms like Plex, Pluto TV, Peacock, YouTube, and more. Taking a big career step, Hartbeat Productions merged with LOL Productions to create Hartbeat to diversify global comedy. Hartbeat Studios produces films like Netflix’s Lift and Hartbeat Media focuses on digital content, music, and events. 

In 2022, Kevin Hart also entered the alcohol industry, teaming up with 11th-generation tequila producer Juan Domingo Beckman to create the tequila brand, Gran Coramino. Inspired by his experiences in Mexico, the Fatherhood actor’s goal was to make a smooth tequila that consumers would love. $1 from every smooth-flavored tequila bottle sold is donated to support diverse entrepreneurs and small businesses across the U.S. and Mexico.

Gabrielle Union

When Gabrielle Union noticed that on-set hair stylists didn’t know what to do with her hair, she took mental notes on effective hair products and launched Flawless by Gabrielle Union in 2017. Once those ten successful products of hers sold out, the Bring it On actress revamped the business to be “100% Black-owned, Black-led and Black-marketed.” Union worked with a team of chemists to develop new products for textured hair using naturally derived ingredients. 

Inspired by her daughter Kaavia’s skincare struggles when she was three, Union also decided to create Proudly, with her husband Dwyane Wade, to make products for children with melanated skin. Launched online in April 2022, Proudly expanded nationwide to Target in September of that year.

Snoop Dogg

The Grammy nominee responsible for singles like “Gin and Juice” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot” has embraced being typecast as a weed enthusiast to create many cannabis-based businesses. Snoop Dogg founded the cannabis-focused digital platform Merry Jane which normalizes discussions about the business and politics of the cannabis industry. 

The brand Leafs by Snoop provides fine-quality cannabis like flowers, concentrates, and edibles. The rapper made history as the first celebrity to brand and market legal marijuana products. In July 2024, Snoop Dogg launched L.A.’s first legal marijuana shop S.W.E.D (Smoke Weed Everyday) to provide top-shelf premium products and services for cannabis experts, with August plans to expand in Amsterdam.

Serena Williams

Grand Slam winner Serena Williams, who retired from tennis in 2022, successfully transitioned into the business world with Serena Ventures. This venture capital firm came about after discovering only 2% of venture capital went to women and less to people of color. 

Through Serena Ventures, the former athlete has invested in more than 85 companies with 79% under-represented founders, 54% women founders, 47% Black founders, and 11% Latino founders. Serena Williams' portfolio includes innovative companies like AI-platform custom wig company Parfait, plant-based meat company Impossible Foods, weight loss app Noom, and more. Remarkably, 14 of these businesses have even reached Unicorn status, being valued at $1 billion or more.

Jay-Z

Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter is widely considered one of the best rappers of all time, not only because of his chart-topping music but for shaping the entertainment industry with his businesses. After parting ways with Def Jam Records, he founded Roc Nation in 2008 which evolved from a record label into artist management, supporting athletes, and music publishing and distribution. A lot of musicians have benefited from Roc Nation, like Rihanna, Demi Lovato, DJ Khaled, and more. 

Jay-Z is also the first rapper to own a champagne label, acquiring full ownership of Armand de Brignac. In 2014, the “99 Problems” rapper bought the remaining stake and it sold more than 500,000 bottles five years later.

Oprah Winfrey

You see trailblazing media mogul Oprah Winfrey’s name all over the place whether it’s on TV, in movies, on book covers, the radio, and more. A fun fact about Winfrey is that she’s the first Black billionaire, which is unsurprising considering her success with The Oprah Winfrey Show, O Magazine, and Harpo Films. With all of the other businesses Winfrey has, why not have her own television network called…OWN? 

In 1992 after a conversation with her life partner Stedman Graham, Winfrey immediately envisioned OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network). Although she co-founded Oxygen, The Color Purple actress wanted complete control of her network. Seven-time Grammy winner Dr. Dre has made his mark on the music industry as a rapper, the founder of Aftermath Entertainment and Death Row Records, and a record producer helping other artists make a name for themselves. In 2006, The Super Bowl LVI halftime show performer helped music enthusiasts listen to music the way he does in the studio with Beats by Dre. 

Collaborating with Interscope Records co-founder Jimmy Iovine, the “Let Me Ride” rapper’s dream of bringing the sound in a professional recording studio to his premium headphones came true. By 2011, Beats dominated over 64% of the $100+ premium headphone market and was acquired by Apple in 2014. 

Rihanna

Chart-topping artist Rihanna, one of the best-selling female artists of the 21st century, has made a great impact on the beauty industry with Fenty Beauty. Launched in 2017 and named after her surname, Fenty made history as one of the first brands to cater to all kinds of skin tones with its 50 shades of foundation. The business has since expanded to haircare, lipstick, eye makeup, skincare, and more. 

In 2018, Rihanna expanded her beauty services to fashion with Savage x Fenty, a lingerie brand designed to empower men and women “to feel sexy and have fun doing it.” There were even eight limited edition items that were Super Bowl LVII themed when the R&B singer performed for the halftime show. With Fenty Beauty worth $2.8 billion and Savage x Fenty worth $1 billion, the Grammy winner’s business ventures have put her at billionaire status.

Lenny Kravitz

American singer-songwriter Lenny Kravitz, known for his catchy music and unique style, has home designing talent through Kravitz Design Inc. As The Hunger Games actor said that he’d be a designer if music didn’t work out, Kravitz decided to put his designer skills to the test by creating a relaxing atmosphere for his clients with his interior and furniture designs. Kravitz Design Inc.'s clients include Morgans Hotel Group, The Setai Resort and Residences, Delano South Beach, and more.

Berry Gordy Jr.

Before Berry Gordy Jr. became a renowned music industry entrepreneur, he worked a lot of jobs like boxing, assembly line worker, record store owner and more. Tyler Perry

Inspired after watching an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show that spoke of the therapeutic power of journaling, Tyler Perry discovered his writing talent and transitioned from stage productions to founding Tyler Perry Studios in 2005. The studio now rests on 330 acres of the former Fort McPherson army base in the heart of Atlanta, which he bought in 2015. 

Perry’s films, starting with the Diary of a Mad Black Woman, have opened doors to aspiring actors, writers, and film directors of color. On a busy day, Bloomberg reports that nearly 5,000 people work at the studio, providing plenty of employment. The cast of his BET+ series, Ruthless, said there’s “beauty” and “freedom” working at Tyler Perry Studios in representing people of color and feeling unstoppable on the property. He is seen as the first African-American to own a major film production studio.

These empowering Black celebrities have used their big names and fame to build empires that service the world outside of entertainment. Through their innovative ideas, A-listers have found ways to promote diversity to ensure that everyone benefits from services like hair care, skincare, entertainment networks, venture capital for businesses, and more. The lesson that everyone can learn from their inspirational stories is that if you see an industry where the change you make can have a positive impact on humanity, don’t hesitate to make a difference.

Creating a film based on a beloved franchise is tricky business. No matter what the approach, there will always be fans who disapprove. Such is the case with the upcoming film adaptation of the video game Borderlands, which will fall victim to the classic issue of a passionate fanbase that simply pictured a different type of big screen take. We’ve already heard the backlash surrounding the film’s rating, but perhaps the loudest disapproval pre-release has come from fans who simply cannot picture Kevin Hart as the soldier Roland, a popular character from the games. Well, it seems that Hart’s co-star has the same reservations, but promises you simply have to see it to believe it.

Florian Munteanu seems over the moon to be playing Borderlands’ iconic psychopath, Krieg. This is because Munteanu himself is a huge fan of the games, so much so that even he had to do a double take at Kevin Hart’s casting as Roland. He said this:

Florian Munteanu is a professional boxer who recently came up in Hollywood through playing hulking characters such as the Creed franchise’s Viktor Drago and Shang-Chi’s sword-armed villain Razor Fist. Given the fact that he himself is a big guy, it would make sense that he had similar expectations for one of his favorite characters, Roland. However, he admires that Kevin Hart put in the work, and certainly came around on the casting. He continued:

Kevin Hart was absolutely stoked when his casting was announced, and the comedian is known for his intense workout commitment, so he clearly had no intention of phoning it in. And let’s not forget that Hart turned down the opportunity to play Santa in last year’s Dashing Through The Snow, so he’s clearly not taking on any old role just for the paycheck. In the early stages of Borderlands’ development he called the project “amazing,” and he won Florian over, so now it’s time to see if he’ll have the same effect on audiences at large!

While the film’s casting may be peculiar to some, said cast sure is stacked! It’s why Jamie Lee Curtis signed on in the first place, and Jack Black teased fans that he was “on fuego” in the role. With Cate Blanchett and Ariana Greenblatt also on board, and Eli Roth directing, where could they go wrong? Fans can see the film for themselves when it’s released this Friday, August 9. Colin Jost is a longtime surfing fan, and he loves to surf himself. When NBC wanted to send one of their own to cover the sport during the Olympics, he seemed like a natural fit. However, Jost is not a journalist, he’s a comedian on SNL, so his coverage has been, well, interesting. The competition is being hosted in Tahiti, which is an island in the Pacific Ocean that's part of French Polynesia, so the broadcast has not been as glamorous as Paris’ live-streamed Olympic events. So, naturally, when Kenan Thompson and Kevin Hart caught up with the comedian on their show about the games, they couldn’t help but roast his makeshift setup.

When Thompson and Hart spoke to Jost over video for their Olympic Highlights broadcast, they noticed the difference between their setups. Thompson and Hart were in a well-lit high-quality studio in California, while Jost was outside and definitely more grainy. He shared a picture of his current setup with his fellow comedians, showing he had a laptop propped up on a barbeque cooler. Chickens were also hilariously walking in and out of frame, really hammering home that this was a bare-bones operation.

Hart and Thompson could not stop laughing at the situation, especially the chickens which kept getting closer to the longest-running Weekend Update host, as Hart said:

Thompson was humored by the situation as well, as the set-up resembled less of a tropical vacation spot and more like a familiar-looking backyard. He said:

Jost had a great sense of humor about the whole thing and laughed along with them, referring to the chickens as his “producers.”

He has been making fun of himself throughout his entire Olympics broadcast. He posted a video on Instagram of the satellite situation on the island, jokingly doubting that audiences will ever see the broadcast. He also pointed out the actual peacocks roaming around the beach which is absolutely hysterical. You can see his video below:

Aside from the janky setup, Jost has additionally had a stream of ailments come his way. His foot got cut up by a reef while he was in the water, which he had to get treated and now is bandaged up. This was soon followed by an ear infection.

He has kept a sunny attitude through it all, though, even joking that he's been in the medical tent more than the athletes. While his wife Scarlett Johansson initially said she thought this Olympics gig was more like a vacation for Jost than a job, the whole situation proved to be a bit more of an ordeal.

It's no surprise that Hart and Thompson got a kick out of this. It is objectively hilarious and fuel for comedians to make jokes about. Their job is pretty cushy compared to Jost's, and neither of them has had to deal with the technical difficulties and environmental problems his Tahiti coverage continues to face.

Hart and Thompson have been funny in their own right, commentating on the international competition for Peacock, but the unexpectedness of Jost’s situation has to take the cake. I hope the Weekend Update host continues to take things in stride, because this whole thing has been wildly entertaining to his peers, as well as Olympic watchers everywhere.

Back in May, Netflix subscription holders bore witness to a star-studded event amid the 2024 TV schedule when The Roast of Tom Brady was live-streamed on the platform. The TV special, which was held at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, was ultimately successful, as it reportedly raked in massive viewership numbers for the streamer. However, Brady himself later stated that he regretted participating in the roast. A handful of the comics involved have since commented on Brady’s sentiments, sharing nuanced thoughts on the matter. Now, Kevin Hart – who served as the host that night – is weighing in, and he has a lot of thoughts to share.

What Did Tom Brady Say About The Roast After It Premiered?

The former New England Patriots player shared thoughts on the highly watched roast only days after it was streamed. As the 46-year-old ex-quarterback explained while on The Pivot Podcast, he wasn’t so much displeased with the jokes that were aimed at him personally. What he ultimately wasn’t all that happy about, though, was the way in which the roast impacted his kids:

To be clear, Brady’s three kids weren’t actually the target of jokes during the event. Yet, after the fact, they apparently weren’t too happy about the jokes made at their dad’s expense, some of which tangentially related to them. The 80 for Brady star’s ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, was also allegedly upset with the jokes, a number of which involved her. Tom also explained that he went into the roast fully prepared to be made fun of by the likes of Jeff Ross and Kevin Hart. However, he admitted that with a project like that, “you don’t see the full picture all the time.” As for how it’ll impact him moving forward, the seven-time Super Bowl winner added:

Comedian Nikki Glaser reacted to Tom Brady’s comments as well as his apparent displeasure with a joke made about Patriots owner Robert Kraft during the LA-based event. When addressing the backlash from the athlete’s family, Glaser said that she could “understand” that Brady was unprepared for that. However, the Trainwreck alum also opined that someone as meticulous as Brady “does not do anything without doing his research and knowing what he’s getting into.” Kevin Hart’s comments somewhat line up with Glaser’s, but his analysis arguably goes a bit deeper.

How Did Kevin Hart Respond To The NFL Legend’s Comments About The Roast?

The Lift star went hard on the Tom Brady jokes during the roast and, before the show, he even joked that he was ready to “lose the relationship” that he has with the ex-Tampa Bay Buccaneer. The actor/producer discussed Brady’s comments while appearing on the Taylor Rooks X podcast (which is on YouTube). When asked for his thoughts, the Jumanji star explained why he believes Brady doesn’t regret the roast itself:

Kevin Hart went on to state his belief that the event as a whole made people comfortable with the “concept of a joke being a joke” and “just” that. He also lauded the comedians on the dias, who showed that they were “sharp” talents. Additionally, Hart explained that he pitched himself as host by emphasizing that he could be someone to set the tone and provide the appropriate level of “shock value” necessary for such a show. The Think Like a Man star then added the following sentiments:

Whether or not the jokes went too far is up to personal interpretation, but what can be said is that Kevin Hart and co. did indeed draw some wild reactions from the Brady roast’s crowd. That was confirmed by CinemaBlend’s own Jeff McCobb, who was in attendance that evening. Right now, it seems that Kevin Hart, Tom Brady and others are sticking by their respective stances on the roast, and I’m intrigued as to whether anyone else will discuss it as time goes on.

There are some huge franchises out there, and few are bigger than the Harry Potter series, so naturally, the actor who played its protagonist, Daniel Radcliffe, is going to find his way onto this list. With a box office total climbing north of $2.6 billion, Radcliffe has supplemented Harry Potter with big movies like Now You See Me 2 and The Lost City.

Tom Cruise

For four decades Tom Cruise has been one of, if not the, most bankable stars in Hollywood. The biggest chunk of the more than $4 billion he's earned has come from the Mission: Impossible movies, but almost every one of his movies, from Top Gun to War of the Worlds and beyond are usually big money makers. 

Harrison Ford

When you star in two of the biggest franchises in Hollywood history, you're going to make this list. As Han Solo in the Star Wars movies and as the titular character in the Indiana Jones series, Harrison Ford has been raking in box office receipts for decades.  He's also had big money earners outside those series as well, like the two Jack Ryan movies he starred in, and movies like The Fugitive and the two Blade Runner flicks.  

Tom Hanks

It's hardly a surprise to see Tom Hanks on this list. With a total box office of over $5 billion, Hanks has consistently crushed it in some of the most iconic roles in Hollywood history. The list of Hanks' best movies includes Saving Private Ryan, Forrest Gump, Philadelphia, Big, and many more, but the movies that make the biggest contribution to that box office number come from the Toy Story franchise. 

Jack Black

Jack Black movies have brought in more than $2.7 billion. Before you wonder where that has come from, you have to remember just how huge the Kung Fu Panda series of movies have been. They all have collected huge box office numbers. Throw in School of Rock, and the Jumanji series, and all of a sudden, you're climbing in some pretty rarified air. Oh - and it might surprise you that the Super Mario Bros. Movie earned more than a billion on its own.  

Morgan Freeman

Is there a more beloved actor in Hollywood than Morgan Freeman? With movies like The Shawshank Redemption, Driving Miss Daisy, and Unforgiven he's proven he's one the best actors, and with huge movies like The Dark Knight trilogy, he's brought in a ton of money, with over $2 billion total. 

George Clooney

There isn't anyone in Hollywood who quite personifies a classic movie star than George Clooney. He's brought in more than $2 billion lifetime, with only one superhero movie on his resume (and a forgettable one at that, with Batman & Robin). Of course, the Ocean's movies have been his biggest box office successes, but he mostly has just put out great movie after great movie. 

Liam Neeson

While Liam Neeson isn't alone in actors we'd like to see in the MCU one day, he's still earned bank at the box office. He's appeared in a number of other big franchises, like Star Wars, The Dark Knight, and The Chronicles of Narnia, and the franchise he's most known for, the Taken movies. 

Steve Carell

It may surprise you to see Steve Carrell on this list until you remember how huge the Despicable Me franchise is. Those movies print money and Carell has been a monster piece in that puzzle. Of course, he's also had huge hits like The 40-Year-Old Virgin and the Anchorman movies. 

Meryl Streep

It's hard to argue against Meryl Streep being the finest actress of a generation, and perhaps even ever. With more than 20 Oscar nominations, she's built a career that is unparalleled. She has also managed to kill it at the box office despite not being a part of any huge franchises. The Mamma Mia! movies are the closest she's come to something like that, which makes her $2 billion+ that much more impressive.  

Eddie Murphy

Year after year Eddie Murphy just cranks out hit after hit. Sure, he's a long way away from his peak as a comic in the '80s, but you can't argue against the results, with over $3.5 billion in total receipts. The biggest contributors, of course, are the Shrek movies. 

Johnny Depp

Of course, Johnny Depp has to be on this list. Depp led one of the biggest franchises of the early 21st Century with the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. He's had a lot of hits outside of his work for Disney, but the role of Jack Sparrow has translated to a big chunk of his more than $3.6 billion total box office. 

Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence hasn't been in the MCU proper, but in full disclosure, she did appear in the X-Men franchise when it was outside of the MCU proper. So there is that. Still, she's also got another franchise under her belt with the Hunger Games movies. Outside of that, she's known for taking on serious roles in movies like Winter's Bone and Mother. It all adds up to more than $2.6 billion.

Robert De Niro

Robert De Niro has been one of the most famous actors in Hollywood for more than 50 years and with that has come a lot of success at the ticket window. in total, his movies like Cape Fear, The Godfather II, Killers of the Flower Moon, and, the films that have contributed the most to his more than $2.6 billion lifetime box office sales, the Meet The Parents movies. 

Emma Watson

As one of the key cast members of eight Harry Potter movies, it's hardly a surprise to see Emma Watson on this list. That franchise alone has made billions. She also appeared as Belle in the Disney live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast in 2017, which made a cool billion as well. 

Leonardo DiCaprio

The great Leonardo DiCaprio is another actor on this list who has built remarkable box office numbers – well over $2 billion – without the benefit of a major franchise. It helps to have Titanic on your resume though. 

Julia Roberts

Since the late '80s, Julia Roberts has been box office gold. In all, her movies have made more than $2 billion, and without the benefit of a major franchise, aside from the first two Ocean's movies. Instead, she's built her legendary career on movies like Pretty Woman, Erin Brockovich, and Eat Pray Love.

Bruce Willis

There are few action stars as loved as Bruce Willis. Before he retired due to aphasia and dementia, he not only starred in the Die Hard series, but he consistently churned out hits like Pulp Fiction, 12 Monkeys, and one of his biggest movies, Armageddon. He also popped in two of the Expendables movies, earning an overall $3 billion or so. 

Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne Johnson may have started out in professional wrestling, but he's owned Hollywood since making the transition to acting. In addition to the Fast and Jumanji franchises, Johnson's box office totals include two Mummy movies and a slew of other hits. It all adds up to well over $3 billion. 

Owen Wilson

There is a small caveat here. Owen Wilson has technically appeared in the MCU, but it was on the Disney+ show Loki and he's never been in one of the movies, so nothing in the MCU is reflected in his box office numbers. What does count is movies like Meet The Parents, Night At The Museum, and The Cars franchise. It all adds up to more than $2.3 billion.

Adam Driver

While he may not have the MCU on his resume, Adam Driver does have three huge Star Wars movies on it. That's a great way to pad your box office numbers. Driver is hardly a one-hit wonder though. House of Gucci, BlacKkKlansman, and others all add up to more than $2.3 billion.

Sandra Bullock

Sandra Bullock has put together an impressive career that's spanned over three decades. Despite not starring in many major franchises aside from Ocean's 8 and Minions. Still, over her career, she's generated more than $2.6 billion in box office totals. Impressive, to say the least. 

Kevin Hart

Everyone loves Kevin Hart, but it's sort of surprising just how successful his movies have been over the years. He's in rarified air here with over $2.4 billion in tickets sold to movies he's appeared in. It certainly helps that's his popped up in the Fast franchise, as well as the Jumanji movies, of course. 

Jim Carrey

Other than Batman Forever Jim Carrey has avoided major franchises over the years. Still, at one point, he was Hollywood's highest-paid actor because his movies almost always make big bucks, bringing in more than $2.9 million overall. Movies like Bruce Almighty and the Sonic movies have contributed greatly to that haul. 

Will Ferrell

What can you say about Will Ferrell that hasn't already been said? Frankly, he's the premier comedic actor over the last couple of decades. With movies like the Anchorman series, Elf, Step Brothers, and maybe his biggest contributor to his more than $2.8 billion in receipts, the Lego franchise, Farrell movies continue to clean up in theaters. 

Will Smith

Before the infamous "slap" at the Oscars in 2023, Will Smith was one of America's most beloved movie stars. His reputation has taken a hit, but his box office numbers over the years don't lie. With franchises like Bad Boys and Men In Black, in addition to a huge number of other hits over the years, Smith's total take is among the highest ever at over $3.8 billion. 

Keanu Reeves

You don't need comic book movies when you've got monster franchises like John Wick and The Matrix. Those two series have contributed a huge part to Keanu Reeves' amazing box office numbers, which stretch over $2 billion now. Throw in one of the Toy Story movies and a handful of other big hits and you're on top of the world. 

Denzel Washington

Until The Equalizer series, Denzel Washington had never even starred in a sequel, much a franchise. He has still managed to rack up more than $2.5 billion in box office numbers though. Washington has been one of the world's most famous actors for decades and has won a slew of awards, including two Oscars, so it's hardly a surprise, but it's still darn impressive. 

Brad Pitt

If Brad Pitt's Ocean's franchise co-star George Clooney isn't the most famous movie star in the world, Brad Pitt might be. Like Clooney, he's mostly built his box office record without the help of any major franchise, aside from Ocean's. It is worth mentioning that he had that infamous cameo in Deadpool 2, but that's still technically outside of the MCU. 

Adam Sandler

He's not everyone's cup of tea, sure, but Adam Sandler has put together one of the most impressive careers in Hollywood history with his unique brand of humor. Movies like Big Baddy, Mr. Deeds, You Don't Mess with the Zohan and Grown Ups have all tucked away huge amounts of money, as have others, meaning Sandler's overall box office is up over $2.8 billion. 

Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck does benefit from his time as Batman in the ill-fated DCEU, which has since been replaced with the reboot DCU. Those movies, despite mostly middling reviews, did all make a lot of money. When you add in movies like Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, and Gone Girl, it's easy to see how his total haul adds up to more than $2.4 billion. 

Mark Wahlberg

Mark Wahlberg might be the most surprising person on this list, believe it or not. Then you remember he was in some of the Transformer movies, and think about how much the Ted and Daddy's Home movies made, and you realize it's not actually all that shocking. In total, his movies have brought in well over two and a half billion dollars. 

Ahead of Kevin Hart being in one of this summer’s big 2024 movies, playing a lead in a movie adaptation of Borderlands, the comedian is being hit with a lawsuit regarding to a former scandal. Hart’s ex-friend Jonathan Todd Jackson is seeking $12 million in damages from the actor for claims regarding his alleged involvement in a 2017 sex tape. Here’s what’s going on: 

Why Is Kevin Hart Being Sued For $12 Million?

According to court documents J.T. Jackson has filed (per In Touch), the former friend of Kevin Hart is suing him for allegedly breaching a written contract the two of them had regarding the 2017 sex tape scandal. Additionally, Jackson has alleged fraud and intentional infliction of emotional distress in the lawsuit. 

Per Jackson’s filing, he believes that his reputation was “unjustly tarnished,” which has in turn led him to deal with professional setbacks, emotional distress and financial woes. While the documents say that Hart didn’t “personally accuse” his former friend in connection with the scandal, he “contributed to the initiation of these false claims” leading to a “wrongful arrest” after he made a false report back in 2018. Hart also mentioned Jackson in his 2019 standup special (2019’s Kevin Hart: Irresponsible, which can be watched with a Netflix subscription), which Jackson says “significantly influenced public opinion and damaged” his reputation. 

In July 2021, Jackson says he worked with Hart to reach a settlement which involved the comedian to “pursue and advocate for the dismissal of the criminal charges” and “make a public statement exonerating” the claims against Jackson. But there is a claim that Hart breached the contract by not following through with the “agreed-upon” public statement. Jackson also claims Hart and his team submitted “fabricated evidence” to the DA’s office as well. 

What Is Kevin Hart’s Sex Tape Extortion Scandal? 

The controversy in question ties back to an extortion attempt made against the comedian back in 2017. In an alleged tape comprised of three clips, Hart and a woman named Montia Sabbag were reportedly in a physically intimate encounter concurrent with his marriage to Eniko Parris. Hart publicly apologized to his wife and kids for what he referred to as a “bad error in judgement.” The comedian said at the time he’d rather admit to his mistakes than allow the extortionist to earn money off of him. The woman in the video spoke out about the scandal at the time, saying that she was “not an extortionist” or a stripper, but was involved with Hart. 

How Did The Scandal Get Resolved? 

Back in 2021, NBC Los Angeles reported that the criminal charges against Jonathan Todd Jackson regarding the sex tape had been dismissed. The report suggested that Jackson never made an extortion attempt and Hart was “in agreement with the dismissal of the case.” 

That's the extent of what we know about this lawsuit. Kevin Hart has yet to make a comment. 

Kevin Hart has amassed a lot of celebrity friends throughout his time as a Hollywood A-lister. Considering the connections that he’s made, he typically takes time out to wish his famous pals well on their birthdays and does that in fun ways. (Hart’s insult-laced tribute to Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson a few years ago was particularly funny.) Now, the comedian is getting a bit of that love back, as Will Smith wished him well on his b-day this weekend. The two ultimately shared a sweet exchange, and fellow actor Jamie Foxx popped in with a suggestion that honestly sounds fun.

The Hancock star posted a birthday message for his buddy this past Saturday, on which the Jumanji alum turned 45. Will Smith celebrated the occasion by sharing a video of an encounter between him and Kevin Hart. In the clip, one can see the two entertainers getting into a humorous debate about sweaters. Smith also included a funny caption, and you can see the post in its entirety: 

I guess you really can’t underestimate the power of a good sweater. But, seriously, this is a great tribute from the Oscar winner, who’s known for shouting out his friends on their birthdays. What’s particularly special about this tribute is that he and the Lift star share something in common. As mentioned in the clip, they’re both Philadelphia natives and are indeed proud of where they come from. The Think Like a Man star referenced that link when commenting on the post himself: 

Honestly, it’s hard not to appreciate that kind of love between two friends, and what I love even more is one another buddy jumps in to share even more sweet thoughts. Jamie Foxx, who’s been settling in to work again following his medical emergency last year, sent Kevin Hart love as well. He also tagged Will Smith and made a proposal that sounds cool: 

A guys’ trip to France? That honestly sounds like a move, if you ask me. It’s honestly kind of funny to think of these three sitting in the City of Lights and chopping it up while wearing fancy sweaters. But, then again, I’d imagine that to be a pretty epic trip filled with plenty of laughs. Of course, the key to making such an overseas excursion happen would be for the three megastars to carve time out of their busy schedules. 

Will Smith has two movies on the way. Smith is starring in the thriller film Sugar Bandits, which was written by The Town’s Chuck Hogan. And, following Bad Boys: Ride or Die’s box office success, Smith lined up another gig in the form of science fiction flick Resistor. Meanwhile, Kevin Hart is looking towards the release of upcoming video game film Borderlands, which releases later this summer amid the 2024 movie schedule. It’s likely that Hart will be doing quite a bit of press for that blockbuster. Additionally, Jamie Foxx will surely be promoting Netflix’s Back in Action later this year and is still holding down hosting duties on the game show Beat Shazam. 

Despite all of their professional obligations, I’d imagine that this trio could find some time to get together. Here’s hoping that Kevin Hart had a great birthday and that he, Will Smith and Jamie Foxx do eventually take that trip to Paris or to another location. If anything, I’d just love to see the photos and hear the stories that would come out of such a vacation.

Kevin Hart’s Peacock talk show series, Hart to Heart is always a good time. The comedian has sat down with living legends like Don Cheadle, Will Ferrell and Mike Tyson to chat about various topics, from the hilarious to the earnest. The latest season of this hit show welcomed guests like Judd Apatow, Cynthia Erivo and even Ben Affleck, who is always a great talk show guest. Clips from the interview show a great conversation between Affleck and Hart, with the latter hilariously teasing his buddy about winning Sexiest Man Alive in 2002. That's a title that Hart jokingly thinks he should have received over the Batman star.

In the latest Hart to Heart interview, which was shared to YouTube, the stand-up veteran chatted with the Gone Girl star about some of his career highlights, including accolades he's won along the way. The movie star is the recipient of two Oscars, three Golden Globe Awards and two SAG Awards. But Hart wanted to focus on one of his more light-hearted honors: the title of Sexiest Man Alive from People Magazine in 2002. Check out a preview:

During the actual interview, the comic congratulated Ben Affleck on the achievement before making his joke. He said:

The actor/director is known for his good sense of humor and laughed when the Think Like a Man star brought up the moment in his career. He responded with A+ comments, saying: 

2002 was an interesting time for the movie star. The Good Will Hunting actor was the subject of heavy tabloid coverage due to his relationship Jennifer Lopez (which resulted in a broken engagement at that point). There was also his complicated run of films, which generated lukewarm box office returns. However, no one could deny his movie-star persona and leading man image, so him being named Sexiest Man Alive that year seemed inevitable. 

Kevin Hart, on the other hand, had yet to get his big break in 2002. He had just started earning roles in movies like Paper Soldiers and Scary Movie 3, and his stand-up career hadn’t quite taken off just yet. Naming Hart Sexiest Man Alive in 2002 probably would’ve been very confusing and premature though, in recent years, his movie star career has certainly earned him a number of magazine spreads. Fingers crossed that Hart makes the short list of candidates this year, as it may be finally his time to become the Sexiest Man Alive. 

Joking aside, Kevin Hart feels like the perfect person to be interviewing Ben Affleck. Not only does the Air director have a great sense of humor, but he also is open to having a down-to-earth conversation, something that famously has happens on Hart’s show quite often. And, during the discussion, Affleck also got real about fame and his desire to protect his kids from it. I'm hoping this isn't the last time we see these two chop it up in a public setting, and here's wishing Hart luck in earning the elusive title he seeks.

The end of May and the beginning of June means it’s everybody’s favorite time: the time to shuffle all the movies and TV shows as many leave streaming, or jump services, while a host of new content arrives. There’s so much moving around, along with all the brand-new original content, that it can be difficult to keep track of what’s going on. Whether you subscribe to only one of the best streaming services or all of them, it’s still a lot.

The crime drama casts Cumberbatch as a puppeteer whose son goes missing. In his grief, he creates a new puppet for his show in hopes it will lead him to his son.

Fans looking for something a bit lighter than missing children and grief may enjoy another new Netflix series hitting the same day. Geek Girl stars Emily Carey as Harriett Manners, a teen geek who finds herself thrust into the world of high fashion.

Die Hart was originally a show created for the short-lived Qubi streaming service that saw Kevin Hart play a fictionalized version of himself on a quest to be an action hero. After the first season of the show was re-edited into a film for Prime Video subscribers, the streamer is now giving the second season the same treatment.

Netflix is a Joke is a live comedy festival that is taking place in Los Angeles this week, and so comedy is a major focus this week on Netflix itself. It's not just stand up specials as a new comedy series and special comedy award make up this week's best on Netflix.

Bodkin- May 9

Bodkin is a new dark comedy that stars Will Forte and Siobhán Cullen true crime podcasters who travel to Ireland to investigate and record shows about the disappearance of people years before. Unfortunately, their investigation turns the small town upside down. 

Mark Twain Prize Award: Kevin Hart - May 11

For 25 years The Kennedy Center has given out the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. Previous recipients include Richard Pryor, George Carlin, Bill Murray, and Jon Stewart. This year Kevin Hart is being given the award, and the event will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Disney+ This Week: The Beatles And Doctor Who

Disney+ has become a significant streaming service for fans of music, and this week, rather than bringing fans something new, Beatles fans are getting a piece of history that has never been streaming before. Oh, and also there’s new Who.

Let it Be - May 8

Disney+ previously debuted Peter Jackson’s excellent Get Back documentary that gave a new look at the production of the iconic Let It Be album. Now, Jackson has applied the same technological updates to the audio and video of Let It Be the original 1970 documentary. It has never been available streaming before and should make for an interesting companion to Get Back.

Doctor Who - May 10

Disney+ scored a major win in the streaming content wars when it became the exclusive home in the U.S. to new episodes of Doctor Who. The show is as popular in America now as it has ever been, and with Ncuti Gatwa recently taking on the iconic role, a lot of fans, old and new, will be interested to see where this new season takes The Doctor.

Love Undercover, Season 1 - May 9

If you’re going to make a reality dating show, you need a solid hook, and Peacock’s Love Undercover certainly has an interesting one. The show sees five professional soccer stars try to find love. The catch is that they’re looking for love with American women who have no idea who they really are, as they will be pretending to be ordinary people. 

Prime Video This Week: Daniel Tosh Hosts New Reality Competition

Prime Video has found its most recent success thanks to scripted series and films thanks to the likes of Fallout and Road House. Now it looks for fresh success in the Reality TV space. 

The GOAT - May 8

Reality TV often trades on the idea that it focuses on “regular people” and yet, the genre has turned some of those people into celebrities that rival TV and movie stars. Prime Video’s The GOAT asks the question "Just who is the greatest reality star of all time?" and also the question "Does anybody actually care?"  by pitting 14 of them against each other in a variety of challenges. The show is hosted by comedian Danial Tosh.

Apple TV+ This Week: Joel Edgerton And Jennifer Connelly

Science fiction fans who also have an Apple TV+ subscription have been in good shape, as the platform has had some great series of late, and that trend will hopefully continue with this week’s new series. 

Dark Matter - May 8

Based on the novel of the same name, Dark Matter stars Joel Edgerton as a man who wakes up one day to discover the life he had is gone, and it’s been replaced by something new, including his wife Jennifer Connelly being replaced by Alice Kreig.

Last night, The Roast Of Tom Brady, cheekily nicknamed the G.R.O.A.T., was held at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, and I was in attendance. Whether or not you’ve had a chance to catch it on Netflix, you’ve likely now heard of the harsh and hilarious nonsense that came from one of the most vicious, vulgar and brutal roasts in recent history. This was a pretty risky move for Netflix, which is relatively new to live programming. Yet the audience tuning into the live show or the replay will see the full gamut of “non-P.C.” material that we were shocked to experience on that truly strange night inside the Forum.

What you can’t quite experience fully while catching the show on your TVs are the intense, shocking, and sometimes inappropriate reactions from the crowd. So let’s get into the biggest moments.

Nikki Glaser’s Set Got A Standing Ovation

Nikki Glaser is a well-respected comedian and, anyone who knows her work probably figured she would crush at this show. However, she truly went above and beyond what anyone could have expected. Glaser’s set was fairly early into the night, and she absolutely set the tone for the guests that followed. From insinuating that Rob Gronkowski was “slow,” to daring Tom Brady to get her off, Glaser got what was by far the most intense applause and sincere laughter from the audience.

The night's host, Kevin Hart, mentioned a “standing ovation” following her set, but what you couldn’t see was that the standing wasn’t limited to those on stage. There were thousands of people on their feet in the audience, and the energy was palpable. This was great for everyone but Gronk, who was quoted in the context of Glaser’s crypto joke as saying, “Me know that not real money,” and it quite possibly got the biggest laugh of the night. This was one of the greatest sets in roast history, and the audience knew what they were witnessing.

Kim Kardashian Got Booed Not Once, Not Twice, But Three Times

By now, you’ve likely heard that Kim Kardashian was booed by the audience, and it’s more than audible in the televised version. What you can’t hear is just how intense the booing was live in the moment -- and that it happened a number of times. When she appeared in the monitor above the stage that’s intended for the audience, she was scoffed at. When her name appeared in the credits, she was booed. For you to have heard it so clearly on Netflix really shows how loud it was, and you can see her surprise. 

There was mostly press in the section where I was seated, and we were surprised as well. The Kardashians aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but the audience was in rare form, showing their disdain in a major way. I suppose they are football fans, after all. Despite this, the crowd gave her the laughs and applause she was due when one of her jokes (or, one of her writer’s jokes), hit properly. Kim obviously tackled her and Tom Brady’s romance rumors and, by the time she was done, it seemed that the audience was on her side.

Bill Belichick And Robert Kraft Take A Shot Together

In a move that seemed rather improvised, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and former Patriots coach Bill Belichick took a shot together, with Kraft even calling Belichick, “the greatest coach in the history of the game.” What you couldn’t see was that the crowd was losing their minds. This moment had people on their feet, not just to applaud the apparent squashing of a feud on live TV, but also just to get a better look at what football fans considered to be a historic moment.

The interesting part is that, prior to his set, Bill Belichick was consistently booed. There were plenty of jokes being made at his expense (most notably were consistent implications that he had no hand in building the Patriots dynasty) but, when he absolutely crushed his set during the roast, the crowd seemed to come back to his side. Similarly to Kim Kardashian, fans seemed to respect him for showing up and doing the damn thing. This awesome moment between him and Robert Kraft was really just icing on the cake. 

Kevin Hart And Tom Brady Still Stole The Show

While standing for Kevin Hart’s entrance as host felt like more of a formality, this was something he came to earn. Hart was on fire throughout the whole evening, improvising jokes between sets at his fellow roasters’ expense, and helping to set the tone for what they would be getting away with… which it turns out was quite a lot. To say he was hard on Tom Brady would be an understatement and, despite being “on” for three hours, he was consistently turning in some of the biggest laughs of the night. 

The man of the night, on the other hand, just had to smile and look pretty for most of those three hours. But, when it came time for him to play, he brought his A-game. The Super Bowl champion had apparently been wanting to get roasted for a while and, now, I see why. It’s not because he’s a great sport or because he needs the attention, it’s because he wanted to take some unfiltered shots at his former coaches and teammates. 

For somebody who has more money than God and multiple lucrative side gigs, Tom Brady doesn’t need to do anything. He can just relax, date models and continue yachting with Leonardo DiCaprio. He was there because he wanted to be, and his time to shine went beautifully. We had been in our seats for hours by the time Brady went up to the microphone, and folks were tired. Still, thousands of people managed to bring themselves to their feet, not just because of Brady’s legacy, but because we learned that he really does know how to deliver a joke. As Brady himself put it:

(Not So) Honorable Mentions: Ron Burgundy, Julian Edelman, and Randy Moss

You might be surprised to learn how stoked a 2024 crowd is to see Will Ferrell come out on stage as Ron Burgundy, a full 20 years after the character was first introduced. This entrance was one of the most sincere standing ovations of the night, and perhaps a sign that the character is still relevant enough to tackle the long-awaited Anchorman 3.

Julian Edelman also got his flowers from the crowd. If it’s not clear in the recorded version of the show, fans were blown away by the former Patriots wide-receiver’s set. His delivery was on-point, and folks rose to their feet to clap him off the microphone.

Randy Moss, on the other hand, did not have the most favorable reception. The crowd as a whole wasn’t booing him, but some angry fans were heard yelling out things like “fuck you” and “suck it” during the former wide receiver’s whole set. Let’s just say that there were a lot of Brady jerseys in the audience that night, so we can only assume this was all in the G.O.A.T.’s defense. Regardless, it was a little surprising to hear.
