Spoilers below for anyone who hasn’t yet watched The Robot Chicken Adult Swim Special on Adult Swim or streaming via HBO Max subscription, so be warned! Also, what, were you born under a Mooninite? Watch the special!

No other TV show airing in 2026 is going to offer a pop culture tribute as dense, all-encompassing and wildly chaotic as The Robot Chicken Adult Swim Special. The late-night stop-motion mainstay brought together tons of classic characters that never seemed likely to share the screen, such as Meatwad and Brock Samson, or Joe Pera and Moral Orel. Or the “real” Mike Tyson and AI Judge Mike Tyson.

It’s an unpredictable joy from start to finish, and I was excited to hear that co-creators Matt Senreich and Seth Green had a blast putting the special together from the conception stage to the recording stage to unveiling the final product on the world at large. When the duo talked to CinemaBlend about their marquee 2026 release, I had to ask about getting Mike Tyson Mysteries’ titular star and former heavyweight boxing champion on board.

For a dude with his own weed strain, Tyson sounds like a get-ish-done kinda guy. According to Green:

How impressive is he? Well for one, it sounds like he handled recording all of his Robot Chicken lines in a timespan that was possibly shorter than the special itself. Green could have been hyperbolizing, but it didn't sound like it when he continued, saying:

That's amazing. I'm sure everyone reading can picture the exact move he's talking about, with the fist coming up right in front of his torso, an inch or less from his face. Those who have been hit with full force by Tyson do not recommend others getting in on that particular experience.

The special delivered one of the funniest Mike Tyson-related gags of all time, at least in my eyes, when the proper Mysteries iteration realized the judge was a fraud, and he leapt over the bench and bit the other MT right on his ear in a timeless callback to the 1997 boxing match where Tyson bit off ear cartilage from Evander Holyfield's face. It's not often you see the guy pull that move on his own face.

For all that Mike Tyson took directions well in the recording booth, Seth Green revealed the Hangover fan-fave also crafted one of the character's biggest laugh-lines in the ep himself. According to Green:

I know if I'm ever on a fan cruise that seems like its heading for doom, I'm putting all my faith in Mike Tyson to save the day. Or maybe just to let me use his muscles as floatation devices.

As Matt Senreich put it, anecdotes like these were certainly applicable to Mike Tyson, but also to just about everyone else they worked with on the Adult Swim special, since it was a labor of love as much as anything. As he told me:

Find someone who loves you the way Mike Tyson doesn't love seeing his own AI doppelgänger, or something.

I can’t imagine any TV or movie reunion news will be more shocking or exciting than Sons of Anarchy’s core cast members sharing the screen again for a new FX thriller that Charlie Hunnam himself created. The new project, Legends, will be showing up well after the 2026 TV schedule has concluded, but I can already feel it in my bones that it’ll be worth the wait and then some. Especially now that SAMCRO vet Theo Rossi has weighed in with more background info.

Rossi is currently promoting his newest movie, Aaron Harvey’s crime thriller Come with Me, in which he co-stars with fellow Sons alum Ron Perlman. (They also appear together in the upcoming 2027 movie release The Saviors from director Kevin Hamedani.) He sounds just as hyped to reteam yet again for the meta S.o.A. project, which he told EW was birthed out of the combined notions that fans wanted more, and that the actors also wanted more. As Rossi put it:

Would I watch a Sons of Anarchy prequel in which all of the Sons stars portrayed their own parents and other characters from that 1968 time period? Absolutely, but I can understand why that's not the go-to move for anyone. So even if that long-desired prequel ever comes to fruition — which Kurt Sutter said earlier this year is still a possiblity — it wouldn't have been the vehicle to bring the crew back together.

So in lieu of that approach, Theo Rossi said Charlie Hunnam had the eureka moment for how to make it happen, essentially by having the Sons cast (playing fictionalized versions of themselves) journeying to a fan convention and instead facing an unexpected crisis that forces everyone to lean into their real-world brotherhood to survive. And Rossi shares a pair of fantastic comparison points as an indicator of what Legends' tone will be, saying:

I would love it if Bobby portrayer Mark Boone Jr. was the Larry David of the group. That would be pret-ty, pret-ty, pret-ty funny.

But I sincerely can't think of two better projects to pinpoint the art-imitating-life-imitating-art vibe that Hunnam brought to the table, with Hamilton and Mindhunter's Jonathan Groff brought in to co-develop the story. (And say hellow to It's Always Sunny's Rob Mac as one of the executive producers, which also possibly speaks to the wild tone.)

Theo Rossi addressed the idea that he hasn't experienced a cast relationship as strong as the one he had on Sons of Anarchy, and isn't so confident it'll ever happen with anyone else, which is what made this particular project so important. In his words:

The fact that this is a project literally years in the making just boosts my already lofty confidence and fervor for it. I'd like to thank all of the things that fell into place to make it happen, because squee and such.

If this were still just some pipe dream locked inside of Hunnam's head, it'd still be great, but it's much further along than that, as Rossi confirms:

Now, despite all the cast members that are already locked in, I still need some additional casting to happen, and would love to hear that non-fulltimers like Walton Goggins (who also recently reunited with Ron Perlman) and Harold Perrineau are also being considered. I dunno how real celeb cameos would work in a story like this, but I'd love to find out.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way is returning to TLC for Season 8, and it's bringing back a couple I didn't expect to see on this particular spinoff. Niles Valentine and Matilda Nti are back and part of the 2026 TV schedule, and apparently have some new plans for their future as a married couple.

Readers may remember Niles from Before The 90 Days Season 7 (available to stream via HBO Max subscription), after he traveled to Ghana to tell his fiancé Matilda that they should postpone their wedding. While he said that, he ended up getting married to her anyway, with a vow that he would eventually bring her to the United States. Clearly, based on this latest 90 Day Fiancé appearance, it seems like their plans have changed.

Niles Has Changed His Plans With Matilda

Niles made a pledge to bring Matilda to the United States, but as we've seen on other 90 Day Fiancé spinoffs, visa issues are present for cast members across the board. With his hands tied by the process, Niles decided it was time for him to move to Ghana.

The twist, as revealed by the synopsis for their season of The Other Way, is that Niles hasn't told Matilda his plan. She believed he came to Ghana to celebrate their wedding anniversary, and not to start a new life in Africa. I'm not sure how that will go, but I'm excited to find out!

Who Else Is In 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 8?

As for other familiar faces in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Kenny Niedermeier and Armando Rubio, also known as the franchise's most wholesome couple, will return. Other than that, it's all newbies, who readers can get to know via the trailer below:

She's leaving Dallas, Texas, for Ghana, but not without any worries about a future in Ghana. In fact, she has considerable doubt when it comes to Felix and his family's intentions, and I can't wait to hear more about that.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way remains one of the most compelling spinoffs of the TLC franchise, as the allure of seeing Americans attempt to live abroad never gets old for me. It also never fails that somehow someone involved doesn't know what they're getting into, which makes me wonder how many of these people watch the show before agreeing to participate. My only disappointment is that we still have yet to see a couple date in Antarctica, but this season looks like it'll be a lot of fun.

Big things are happening at The View, as the Emmy-winning daytime talk show prepares to celebrate its 30th anniversary when it returns to the 2026 TV schedule on Tuesday, September 8. There have been lots of rumors about what to expect — and allegedly some “nervous” feelings about which guest hosts might pop up. However, while we may see some big names join Whoopi Goldberg and the gang to talk Hot Topics, there’s one thing that reportedly won’t be getting any bigger: the co-hosts’ paychecks.

No changes have been made to the cast of The View’s 30th season, with Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana Navarro all confirmed to be joining moderator Whoopi Goldberg. In a somewhat surprising move, however, sources tell Rob Shuter of the Naughty But Nice Substack that the milestone season doesn’t come with a pay bump. An insider said:

This is possibly an indication of the struggles that broadcast TV has faced that have the morning shows fighting for ratings. ABC, NBC and CBS have also been duking it out with their evening news programs, and there have been a lot of eyes on how Byron Allen’s Comics Unleashed is holding up after The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s cancellation bumped viewership of Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

Circumstances aside, though, reaching such an impressive milestone as 30 seasons is a huge deal, especially for longtime co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar, who reportedly earn around $8 million a year and $7 million a year, respectively. A TV source said:

I’ve always said we work today for the opportunity to come back tomorrow, and that seems to be the case with The View’s co-hosts. Reaching their 30th anniversary means the show is safe from cancellation, but it doesn’t look like salaries are getting any higher.

The insider insists this shouldn’t be seen as a sign of disrespect to the co-hosts, who reportedly make a good salary. They said:

Ain’t that the truth! Either way, I have no doubt that The View co-hosts will continue to bring the fun and the fights and the drama and debates to ABC for its milestone season, and I’m excited to see who might pop up.

After rumors of Rosie O’Donnell’s return were debunked, Candace Cameron Bure told CinemaBlend she just might “stop back” for another appearance. Other names being thrown around for rumored guest host spots include Meredith Vieira, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Raven-Symoné, while Meghan McCain may have been snubbed.

We’ll have to tune in to find out when The View Season 30 premieres at 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday, September 8, on ABC.

Haley Thogmartin crossed paths with Angela Murray early in Big Brother Season 28, and she feared her game was over. The former Houseguest, who was eliminated after the recent 1000th episode twist, told CinemaBlend the exclusive story of her first encounter and how befriending the Icon wasn't what she expected.

While readers watch Big Brother online and eagerly await to see who wins that grand prize money, I asked Haley about her rollercoaster relationship with Angela that we've seen play out across the 2026 TV schedule. She admitted that she thought she was already in the veteran's line of fire upon their first interaction:

I told Haley that if Angela told me that in my first week in the Big Brother house, my heart would fall out of my chest. Making enemies isn't the best way to win Big Brother, and we saw Angela make enemies out of people who didn't even know they were feuding with her.

Haley knew that, so she went to work talking to her Red Corner allies. She admitted Angela had her shook, but eventually they turned that into a wonderful friendship:

Haley insists that, despite Angela's ongoing feud with former Houseguest Matt Hardeman after their blowout fight in Season 26, she's a great person. She and other Houseguests have pushed back against the narrative that the Big Brother player has a hair-trigger temper and is unpredictable.

The evicted Houseguest went on to say there's a lot of good in Angela, and hopefully, the people watching at home see that. While they've had an up-and-down relationship in Big Brother, Haley hopes for the best when it comes to her friend:

It might be worth noting that Big Brother Houseguests can often be perceived differently on their second go-around on the game, and Angela is no exception. In Season 26, she was put up for eviction frequently, and rarely had a solid alliance with anyone.

In Season 28, she's found a steady alliance with the Icons, who have remained on the right side of the vote every week thus far. Even now, with the possibility of an Icon about to go home for the first time, she's in a relatively safe position.

Will that be enough to win the second time around? Who knows, but there's no denying she's had a more peaceful time in the house than before. I also think she's in a position in which a lot of the other Houseguests may underestimate her, which could just give her the edge to end up winning this entire competition.

When DC co-CEO James Gunn created a new shared universe, actors like Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot were left behind. But a few actors managed to stick around from the DCEU (which is streaming with an HBO Max subscription), chief among them being the cast of Peacemaker. I've been wondering whether or not Season 3 is ever going to happen, but luckily Gunn confirmed one fan favorite character is going to return to the shared universe.

Peacemaker's Season 2 finale had a bunch of cliffhangers, including the formation of Checkmate and John Cena's title character being trapped in Salvation. A fan recently reached out to James Gunn on Threads asking about Freddie Stroma's Vigilante, and their back-and-forth can be seen below:

• Fan: just tell me we're seeing more adrian in something please
• Gunn: Ok

This might have been a one-word response, but it's sure to please Peacemaker fans out there who are desperate for more of Stroma's beloved character. Adrian Chase / Vigilante steals every scene he's in, thanks to his unhinged mind and penchant for violence. And it looks like we'll be seeing him in upcoming DC movies or TV shows. Fingers crossed it's sooner rather than later.

This is just the latest time that the Guardians of the Galaxy filmmaker has subtly fanned the flames of folks hoping for more Peacemaker. Earlier this week, Gunn posted a winking emoji when asked if Season 3 was happening, so hopefully that means we'll get more of Cena's title character and the 11th Street Kids.

I have to say that Vigilante is my favorite character in the Peacemaker cast, mostly thanks to Freddie Stroma's truly unhinged performance. Basically, every word that comes out of his mouth makes me laugh, because Adrian is a legit psycho. To this day, I can't stop thinking about the scene where Vigilante met an alternate version of himself, recreating the Spider-Man pointing meme in the process.

Peacemaker Season 2 retconned the DCEU and the Justice League, helping to transition the audience over to the newly formed DCU. And after John Cena had a cameo in Superman as his character, it certainly seemed like Chris Smith was going to be an important player in the shared universe as a whole. But he hasn't been seen since the Season 2 finale, as he was the first inmate of Paradise, a pocket universe that used to jail metahumans. We'll just have to see if this shows up in Man of Tomorrow, or if a Season 3 announcement will come soon. Fingers crossed.

The next DC movie hitting theaters is Clayface on October 23rd as part of the 2026 movie release list. For now, Peacemaker is streaming in its entirety over on HBO Max.

There are a handful of stars on Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars who have very notable dance experience. One of them is Harry Shum Jr., who famously played Mike Chang on Glee, worked on the Step Up movies and toured with major artists as a background dancer. With his dance experience in mind, he’s an obvious frontrunner for this season of DWTS. However, he has also faced some criticism over his casting on the dance competition. Now, he’s defending his place on the show.

Literally, right after Shum was announced as part of the Dancing with the Stars cast, criticism started rolling in. This happens every season when there are stars on the show who have a history with dance, because they’re competing alongside others who have little to no dance experience. However, while he may have an advantage, the Grey’s Anatomy actor told People why this experience he’s about to go through on the 2026 TV schedule won’t be a walk in the park for him:

He makes a fair point; there are massive differences between dance styles that require different and oftentimes contradicting technique. So, what Shum did on Glee (which you can see with a Hulu subscription) or in Step Up 2: The Streets is not the same as what he’ll do on Dancing with the Stars. He’ll be partnered for these dances, which adds a new element as well.

Harry Shum Jr. explained all this further during an interview with ET, saying that while he has lots of dance experience in general, he has no experience in the worlds of dance that Dancing with the Stars focuses on:

I’m sure he’ll do great on stage, and Jenna Johnson will be a wonderful partner for him. I also believe his history with dance will be useful.

However, he makes a fair point when it comes to his casting, because while he can dance, he’s by no means a pro. The world of ballroom is new to him, and as his partner said earlier this summer, DWTS is a different beast that requires more than just learning the steps. So, that makes the criticism about a star’s experience a little less relevant, because they really do still have so much to learn.

It’s worth noting that Shum is not the only cast member this season with dance experience. Both Jenna Dewan and Julia Stiles have notable histories with dance. Meanwhile, their fellow DWTS competitor Jackson Olson made a name for himself as one of the dancing baseball players on the Savannah Bananas, and Amber Glenn is an Olympic figure skater.

So, to be blunt, the competition is stacked this season, and you never know who will come out and surprise us among the cast. While dance experience helps, it does not guarantee a win. Therefore, as Harry Shum Jr. explained, he’ll have to really put in the work and compete just like everyone else in the cast.

Houseguests on Big Brother fart. It happens and is rarely worth a tweet, let alone a news story, but now and again, one of them farts in such a hilarious or notable way that fans can’t help but talk about it. This is one of those instances because Drew let out what is probably the funniest fart in the history of the live feeds.

Let’s back up because this needs context to understand why Big Brother fans are sharing the video at the same rate they would an epic blindside or an unexpected kiss. Yesterday, all of the remaining houseguests decided to play a little prank on Drew. They all hid inside the shower in his HOH room.

Initially, the little scheme worked like a charm. He wandered around the entire house for like five minutes trying to find anyone else to talk to. Eventually, he went into the HOH room and didn’t notice everyone hiding in the shower. Unfortunately, since he thought he was alone, he decided to rip a really loud fart, which caused everyone in the shower to collectively lose it at the same time.

I have to imagine Big Brother is going to show the clip during tonight’s live eviction episode. They've shown plenty of farts before but regardless, you can check out the comedy gold in the video below…

Good on Drew for laughing this situation off. So many Big Brother fans are talking about how they would have to self-evict if that happened to them, but Drew just laughed along with everyone else and was a good sport about it. In a weird way, it’s a good example of why he’s been able to form pretty strong bonds with a ton of people in the house. He’s clearly a fun person to talk to and is a lot more relatable than what we often see on the show, which usually involves a mix of sassy comments to Julie, relentless hair combing, climaxless flirting with Melody and acquiescing to the icons.

Fart jokes aside, tonight’s Big Brother episode should be an absolute banger. Survivor legend Rick Devens is on the block for the first time after a questionable decision alongside Taylor and LaLa, and conversations on the live feeds have shown a ton of scheming going on. I won’t get into all of the specifics since there’s some potential spoilers for those not watching deep into the night, but if you want to get caught up, you can do so with Mick’s coverage here.

Either way, you can check out tonight’s episode on CBS or Paramount+. If the typical format holds, we’ll get a recap of the scheming in the house, hopefully this hysterical fart prank and then the Blockbuster where one of the three will take themselves off the block. While we got a few answers to questions about the Marshals Season 1 finale in the trailer for Season 2, it also left me with a new one regarding a hope I’ve had since Yellowstone. That question is: Was that a young Kayce we saw in the footage? While I don’t fully have the answer here, it seems highly likely, which means something I’ve been wanting to see since the flagship series aired could finally happen.

For years now, my biggest bone to pick with Yellowstone has centered around the untapped potential of Kayce Dutton’s past. While they went into his military past and turbulent relationship with his dad a little bit, they really never dove into the deep end. On Marshals, we’re getting into all of that. And it seems like Season 2 could address the fact that Kayce is John Dutton’s only branded child, and I think that because of this frame featured in the trailer:

Now, I cannot confirm or deny whether that’s Kayce. So, yes, it’s possible that it’s a different young person who was branded. However, I think it would make perfect sense if this were a flashback to Kayce being branded by his dad.

To be blunt, I think it’s a shame that Yellowstone didn’t really give Kayce the flashback representation Rip and Beth got. His story is dense and complex, and it should be explored.

Finally, they’re doing it with Marshals. We saw it in Season 1 with the introductions of Cal and Garrett, both of whom served with Kayce. Now, in Season 2, I’m hoping we dive into Kayce’s past with the Duttons. If this photo is of him, that will happen, because it looks like he may have been branded recently.

We know from Yellowstone (which you can stream with a Peacock subscription) that John branded Kayce when he found out that Monica was pregnant with Tate. After that, Kayce ran away for a while. He later returned, and things got better between the father and son. However, while they smoothed things over, I never got over the fact that this history was never explored in detail.

I’m hoping Season 2 of Marshals will really get into Kayce’s history with his dad. This frame alludes to it, and it has me hoping even harder that Josh Lucas returns to play young John Dutton. Lucas and the young actor you can see above could finally act out this fraught past and give us some needed context about how this relationship shaped Kayce into who he is now.

However, we’ll just have to wait and see if that happens. Right now, nothing is confirmed, but the trailer certainly gave me hope that this Yellowstone dream about exploring Kayce’s past with his family could come true. We’ll get to see if it does when Marshals returns to the 2026 TV schedule on Sunday, October 4 at 8:30 p.m. ET on CBS. It’s hard to imagine anyone not watching Friends. However, those people exist, and it turns out an actor from another one of the best comedies of that era is one of them. Yeah, Julia Louis-Dreyfus may have been part of Seinfeld’s funniest moments, but that doesn’t mean she was tuned into other funny moments happening over on Friends. I have to say, though, while I’m surprised she has barely watched Friends, I do understand the reason why she hasn’t.

When she stopped by the Friends Keep Secrets podcast, she dropped some fun facts about her time on “the biggest show ever.” And naturally, the topic came around to the friends-themed sitcom thanks to co-host Lil Dicky, who asked the Veep actor, “Did you like Friends?” That’s how we got to this bombshell, as she admitted:

She’s not the first celebrity to get real about the ‘challenges’ of being a working mom. Zoe Saldaña has called the nomadic life of an actor challenging to balance as a parent. Even with the stability of a long-running series, Louis-Dreyfus would have been working long hours on set and parenting when at home. So it’s understandable she wouldn’t have time for anything else.

However, the question didn’t surprise me, as while the sitcoms weren’t technically “pitted against each other,” fans often consider them rivals for being the most iconic. We even see it regarding the fashions, particularly between Elaine and Rachel. (However, Louis-Dreyfus has apologized for her character’s fashion.) Even her costar Jerry Seinfeld has previously (and cheekily) gone off about Friends. He often gives credit to their comedy for the latter’s success. But while they were briefly airing at the same time, there wasn’t an actual rivalry.

Furthermore, I was surprised that Louis-Dreyfus brought up the crossover that was never in the cards. Back in 1994, NBC decided to do a “Blackout Thursday” with its sitcoms each having a blackout-themed episode. However, Seinfeld famously didn’t participate and refused to change the content of their episode for that week. The Elaine actor shared that co-creator Larry David would never “in a million years go along with that.” The two comedies being so separate from each other may be another reason why she never fully watched Friends.

However, thanks to the dedication of Seinfeld fans watching the sitcom with a Netflix subscription, the antics of Elaine and her friends haven't gone away. But fans, like the hosts of Friends Keep Secrets, still want the tea from the Seinfeld cast about their opinions on Friends.

So I don’t see Louis-Dreyfus or her co-stars ever getting away from the Friends questions. However, I do wonder if anyone has ever asked Lisa Kudrow if she’s seen Seinfeld.

Season 4 of Reacher may be in the middle of its run on the 2026 TV schedule, but Season 5 is already coming in hot. Production on the fifth season of the book-to-screen adaptation has begun, and it’s already seeming like it’s a tough one. Alan Ritchson shared a humorously honest take on filming in the snow during the summer, and even smashed a cake in a crew member’s face. As if that wasn’t enough, the Reacher star has been sharing “proof of life” videos, and I’m obsessed.

Ritchson is known for sharing BTS content while filming Reacher and showing off the bruises and bloodbath he’s had to endure throughout production. However, that’s not all he posts from set. Every once in a while, he uploads a video proving that he’s still alive amid the incredibly tough production. His recent update on Instagram might be my favorite one because not only does it look like Jack Reacher is getting beat up quite a lot in the upcoming season, but he claims not one person came to check to see if he’s still alive after he “made it down the gosh dang rapids” and ended up in “God knows where.”

The fact that it really looks like Ritchson is all by himself in the middle of nowhere really completes the whole video. I also love how funny he is, considering Reacher is a pretty serious show.

Now, even though we don't know what to expect in Season 5, this one stunt that Ritchson is doing that’s left him in the middle of nowhere was confirmed. He previously posted a clip of himself and crew members in a wooded area near a river, creek, or stream. Assuming the two videos are related, it seems like Reacher is going to have a roller coaster of a season if he’s going down some rapids. And it’s not going to be fun for him, but it will be a blast for us.

Of course, it’s nothing Ritchson can’t handle. He’s been beaten and bruised so many times while filming Reacher. So, I have a feeling that going down some rapids is nothing, but from the looks of things, it seems like Reacher could be in some trouble. He’s never not in trouble, but this all makes me wonder what kind of predicament he’s going to find himself in during Season 5.

Since Season 4 of Reacher is still airing, it might be a while until we get any news on when to expect Season 5. The wait will surely be worth it, especially if Alan Ritchson continues posting proof-of-life videos. For now, new episodes of Reacher drop on Wednesdays for those with an Amazon Prime subscription.

NCIS is still more than going strong over two decades after its debut, and it doesn't seem to be slowing up. The series is gearing up for its 24^th season, which is set to hit the 2026 TV schedule, and there’s a lot to look forward to. For instance, there's Michael Weatherly’s much-anticipated return as Tony DiNozzo as well as the resolution of Season 23's cliffhanger. It’s not all drama, though, as I can’t stop laughing over the reason Parker has beef with Jimmy.

CBS has released the NCIS Season 24 trailer, and it has everything. There's drama, mystery and action but, of course, there are some light-hearted moments sprinkled in as well. NCIS can definitely be a comedy when it wants to be, and fans get their first taste of what Season 24 has to offer in the new trailer. But the moment between Jimmy (Brian Dietzen) and Parker (Gary Cole) is just sweet (no pun intended).

The trailer kicks off with Jimmy happily arriving at work with some delectable treats, celebrating a “new era” at NCIS. He’s brought cake for the whole gang and offers some to Parker. Unfortunately, Parker declines, and in his most serious tone, tells Jimmy that he’s the “sweets guy.” And that makes Jimmy shut right up. Check it out:

Parker has brought the team a handful of sweets throughout his time on the show, and I never knew that he took the job so seriously. What makes the moment between him and Jimmy even wilder is that the team can't even enjoy the cake because they have to deal with a dead body in a Navy hangar. It’s almost as if that’s Jimmy’s karma for bringing sweets when he shouldn’t have. And, if the rest of the humor this season is anything like that small scene, then I'm ready to see how this plays out.

Meanwhile, the trailer also gives fans a look at Tony’s return and, even though he’s now “Very Special Not Agent Anthony DiNozzo,” it’s like nothing has changed (including the very orange walls). I’m excited to see his dynamics with the rest of the team, since he hasn’t worked with any of them aside from McGee and Jimmy. Overall, though, I just know that the sight of those three together again will be like Heaven for this fan.

Just seeing the Season 24 trailer makes me so excited for these new episodes of NCIS. I just hope that these next several weeks go by quickly. I'm eager to see all the drama play out, and that includes this potentially burgeoning desert feud between Jimmy and Parker.

Back in May, the first present-day Yellowstone spinoff wrapped its first season up with some hectic situations for all of the main characters, making it seem like several of Marshals’ leads would be either dead or in recovery mode when Season 2 started, with Kayce’s son Tate being kidnapped by the late-to-arrive big bad Tom Weaver, as portrayed by Chris Mulkey. Now, the Season 2 trailer has been unveiled by CBS, and it looks like there’s literally nothing to worry about from the gun battle in "Wolves at the Door.”

Which isn’t to say that Kayce & Co. are in the free and clear without albatrosses galore hanging on their necks, since there will still be strifes large and small for the Marshal Service’s elite to deal with. But let’s look at how the trailer clears up the two biggest finale conclusions after watching it in full!

Kayce's Team Seemingly Suffered Zero Losses

Tom Weaver looked like he was pulling off a Yellowstone-esque maneuver from that show's third-season capper by targeting seemingly every Marshals protagonist. Not that anyone expected Kayce, Cal or Belle to bite the dust, especially since Cal may have medical issues that could take him out later on. Still, it might have been an interesting twist for Gil Birmingham's Thomas Rainwater to be murdered in the midst of all the land-based turmoil.

But no, Rainwater is present and accounted for in the Season 2 trailer, as are Kayce, Cal, Belle, Miles, and even Andrea, who was seemingly bouncing from Montana back to Washington D.C. after packing up her locker and everything.

We don't see much more from Morgan Lindholm, who portrays Cal’s estranged daughter Maddie, and who was granted a between-season promotion that will expand her recurring capacity. One would expect that build up in appearances to have something to do with Cal's health issues, but we'll have to wait and see.

Tate Is Already Safely Returned From His Kidnapping, And With Worse Hair

Marshals' first season ended with a déjà vu callback to Yellowstone's second season finale, when Kayce & Co. rescued Tate from being held hostage by the Beck brothers, and he was all traumatized and locked in? None of that is happening here, as Tate seems to be too well-versed in being kidnapped that he appears to be just fine now. Which is wild.

But at least Kayce also recognizes how bizarre it is that Tate isn't more negatively affected by it all, and perhaps also by his son's declaration that "It's the Dutton way" to stay strong in the face of chaos and tragedy. As Luke Grimes' character puts it, "No Dutton man should become their father," which is maybe a shot fired at the late John Dutton. But it's also pure logic, since this family's patriarchs have a way of bringing lethal trouble to the front doorstep. Maybe it's time for Tate to go hang out with Carter down in Texas.

Marshals was the #5 show across all of TV from 2025-2026 in terms of total viewership, so you know a lot of people will be tuning into Season 2 as well. It'll hit the 2026 TV schedule on CBS on Sunday, October 4, with episodes also available to stream via Paramount+ subscription.

The Blue Bloods Universe will continue when Boston Blue Season 2 premieres later this fall on the 2026 TV schedule, and I want to know if more of the Reagan family will be showing up. It’s been confirmed that another one will be joining the fun, as Will Estes is officially set to return as Jamie Reagan, Danny’s little brother. But could another Blue Bloods star be joining Donnie Wahlberg in the spinoff?

Just weeks after her on-screen husband was announced to return for Boston Blue, it seems like Vanessa Ray could be following in his footsteps. The actress took to Instagram on Tuesday to share some pictures from the set, revealing she visited in August to meet the new family. She posed alongside Wahlberg and Sonequa Martin-Green, and now I can’t stop thinking about Eddie Janko’s potential return:

It seems like Ray is just visiting and wanted to reunite with her on-screen brother-in-law and meet the new cast. From the looks of the carousel of photos and videos she posted, she seems pretty busy but still managed to squeeze in a visit to the Boston Blue set. According to her IMDb, she doesn’t have anything in the works, but she appears to be spending most of her time with her family and attending events. However, it wouldn’t totally be out of left field if she were to appear on Boston Blue.

As previously mentioned, Estes is set to appear in the second season. We haven’t heard too much about Jamie and Eddie, aside from a few name-drops here and there, and a picture of their baby during Season 1. It would definitely be fun to have both of them back and in Boston for whatever reason. Having just Jamie appear, then Eddie in a different episode, would still be great, but if you’re going to have them both on, it might as well be in the same episode if that is actually going to happen.

As of now, nothing has been confirmed, so it’s likely that Ray just wanted to drop by the set to pay Boston Blue a visit. Of course, the series is only heading into its second season, so even if we don’t see Eddie any time soon, there is still plenty of time. Plus, Jamie will more than likely give an update or two on his family when he comes to town.

Whoever appears in Season 2 of Boston Blue, I know it will be great. Boston Blue is still filming, so you never know what could happen. Plus, if you want to see the whole fam, all 14 seasons of Blue Bloods are streaming with a Paramount+ subscription.

Ladies and gents, it’s almost time to step back into the ballroom for another season of Dancing with the Stars, and it’s going to be a competitive season. Ahead of the show’s premiere on the 2026 TV schedule, the cast was announced, and it’s truly stacked. However, I already know who I want to win. I have to admit, though, they have some stiff competition.

I Desperately Want Harry Shum Jr. To Win DWTS

One thing you need to know about me is I’m a Gleek. So, anyone from Glee going on Dancing with the Stars would have had me stoked. However, the fact that it’s Harry Shum Jr. is the best news ever! His whole thing on Glee (which you can stream with a Hulu subscription) was dancing. So, I just know he’s going to absolutely kill it in the ballroom.

Shum was a backup dancer for artists like Beyoncé and Jennifer Lopez, too. So, he's a shoo-in.

What will make him even better is the fact that he’s paired with Jenna Johnson. She won Season 33 with Joey Graziadei and Season 26 with Adam Rippon. She’s also placed second on two other occasions. She’s an absolute beast on the dance floor, and I just know she and Shum will be a dream team.

Plus, along with watching Glee during my formative teenage years, I was also a big So You Think You Can Dance fan, and rooted for Johnson when she competed during Season 10 in 2013. So, this pairing isn’t just made up of great dancers who I adore; they also give me a sense of nostalgia that makes me want to use all my votes on them.

However, He’s Not The Only Cast Member With Dance Experience

It will be an uphill battle, though. For seasons, a common DWTS criticism has centered around the show casting stars who have dance experience. This season, there are multiple competitors who have a notable dance background.

Alongside Shum, Jenna Dewan and Julia Stiles have joined the cast. When you look back at both women’s filmographies, dance movies are prominent parts of them. I mean, Dewan was one of the leads of Step Up in 2006, and in 2001, Stiles led Save the Last Dance. Both those movies have major anniversaries this year, these actresses have big followings, and they have stellar pros, as Dewan will dance with Val Chmerkovskiy, and Stiles has been paired with Ezra Sosa. So, between nostalgia and experience, these two will be ones to watch this season.

Adding to this stiff competition, there are lots of other stars who might not have formal dance experience like these three, but will likely thrive on the show.

Take Savannah Bananas player Jackson Olson, for example. He’s paired with Emma Slater, and I’m sure his moves on the field and presence online (their TikToks will be iconic) will work wonders for him as DWTS kicks into high gear.

Olympian and figure skater Amber Glenn is also part of this cast and paired with Pasha Pashkov, and track and field Olympian Ezra Frech is with Daniella Karagach. Athletes tend to make deep runs on DWTS, so we cannot count any of these folks out either.

It’s vital to remember that Dancing with the Stars always surprises, too. You never know who could be the shock of the season, so everyone does stand a chance to win.

However, when it comes to who will get my vote, I have to follow my heart and the dance moves I know are already there, and root for Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson.

Just recently, Entourage alum Debi Mazar made several allegations regarding her time on the much-loved HBO series. Mazar – who played the role of high-powered publicist Shauna Roberts – claimed that near the end of her tenure on the show, she was subjected to a “toxic” work environment that allegedly included body-shaming. Representatives from the network didn’t immediately respond to the actress’ comments. Now, however, the series’ creator is responding to Mazar’s claims.

Inspired and produced by Mark Wahlberg, Entourage was created by Doug Ellin, who recently became aware of the comments made by Mazar. The veteran TV producer eventually took to X, where he reposted an article with reporting on the Jungle Fever alum’s claims. Ellin denied Mazar’s body-shaming allegations, calling the notion of such criticism “disgusting.” However, Ellin did admit to making body-related comments about two other key members of the dramedy series’ cast:

The allegations from Mazar were originally shared with The Times UK, which conducted a wide-ranging interview with the actress. Mazar described the first season of the show as a “joy-fest,” though she claimed the set became “a testosterone-fuelled environment” by the third season. The New York City native admits to being “tough,” but she also alleged that the show “got toxic towards the end” for her. She also said this about welcoming her second child back in March 2006:

Debi Mazar initially began her stint on the cameo-laden Entourage in a recurring capacity, before being named to the main cast at the start of the second season. Her aforementioned pregnancy caused her to appear more sparingly during Season 3, which also marked her last year as a regular cast member. She did, however, continue to make sporadic appearances between Seasons 4 and 8. She also reprised her role as Shauna in the show’s 2015 follow-up movie.

Historically, Mazar has never been one to shy away from getting personal (and that included when she revealed her COVID diagnosis during the onset of the pandemic.) Whether Mazar will feel compelled to respond to Doug Ellin’s comments remains to be seen. As of this writing, other members of the cast of Entourage (which is available to stream with an HBO Max subscription) have not responded to the claims.

September has arrived, and my craving for all things Harry Potter has with it. We're months away from HBO's new book-to-screen adaptation of the magical series, and the latest trailer has me on the edge of my seat. It isn't just the scenes shown that I recognize from the books, it's the scenes I know weren't in them that also have me very, very excited.

Remember the scene from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone when Ron is with his family at The Burrow and gets his Hogwarts letter?

Or what about when Hermione chats with a couple of other girls on the Hogwarts express?

That's ok if you don't remember these moments from the first book in the series, as they don't actually happen on page. Sure, we know Ron got his Hogwarts letter at some point, and Hermione may have attempted to make friends on the train on the way to school, but since most of what happens in the books is shown through Harry's perspective, these are scenes we don't get to see. It looks like the show is aiming to change that, and I'm here for it!

While the first teaser for the upcoming series, which will makes its 2026 TV premiere on HBO (and with an HBO Max subscription) on Christmas Day, leans into nostalgia, this new one has the Hogwarts students heading off to school, where they'll learn how to do magic.

My attention to the scenes in this new footage that I don't recognize from the book is by no means to nitpick. In fact, one of the reasons I'm so excited that the series is being adapted as a TV show is because its episodic approach will presumably give the adaptation more time to really explore the world and the characters, in a way the original movies often couldn't do.

Earlier this year, Lox Pratt, who plays Draco Malfoy in this new adaptation, spoke about how we'll get to see his character at home. This new trailer doesn't show that, but how it does show us Ron with his family, as Fred or George gets jam all over his Hogwarts letter. It's moments like these I'm excited for -- as much as I'm excited to see more of the scenes we know from the books, like the sorting ceremony in the Great Hall, practicing transfiguration in class, Harry learning to fly and play Quidditch and more.

As a fan of the books, I obviously want the TV show to stay true to the original story, but there are ways to fill in the space we couldn't see on the page and flesh out the characters, while also making it a faithful adaptation.

Beyond the scenes that I don't recognize from the book, there are all sorts of little moments from this new footage that I want to look more closely at. That includes the course schedule we see, which shows the first year classes and when they take place.

I'm also loving Hermione's incredulous attitude when we see her ask Ron and Harry if they read. I absolutely can't wait to see more of Arabella Stanton in this role. And we really only have a few months to wait! As mentioned, the Harry Potter TV show arrives on HBO on December 25.

It's a bad week to watch Big Brother if you're a Rick Devens fan, as Drew Campbell's Head of Household has put the Survivor vet in real danger. He was already at risk of eviction with Barrett Pfeiffer's plan to turn on The Crossovers, and it's only getting worse. I've already written about how I thought Dee Valladares had lost her chance at winning the grand prize, and I don't think this latest plot will help her any more. She's planning yet another blindside, only this time, she has no idea that she's the one getting blindsided.

Dee Has Decided To Flip On Devens, Not Knowing That's Already Barrett's Plan

As has been the case with her almost every week in Big Brother Season 28, Dee has suddenly reversed course and decided that Devens should be the target this week. She told Angela Murray her grand plan on Tuesday night, and it would see them blindsiding Barrett and flipping the house against him.

The plan, essentially, is that Dee will change her vote against Devens and have Angela still vote to keep him. That way, they can vote out Devens and blindside the house, but the 4-2 vote will make it appear that she and Angela remained loyal to The Crossovers and keep his vote for the jury.

What Dee doesn't know is that Barrett already intends to flip and, should this plan go through and Devens goes up for eviction, it'll be 5-1. In this case, Devens may see it as Dee and Angela turning on him, and Barrett being the sole loyal vote.

Additionally, Dee will not only be blindsided by the vote but will likely have lied to Barrett and Drew the entire week about her and Angela's vote. If that's not going to sway Drew against staying Crossovers loyal, I'm not sure what will. It won't create a great position for any person who wants to win Big Brother but, again, I've long thought Dee sank her own ship on that front.

Will Angela Reveal The Plan Before The Blockbuster?

Angela is the x-factor to watch this week, as those watching Big Brother online know she hasn't been taking this proposed betrayal well. She was committed to the alliance being loyal and, now, this wrench in the chain, in which she's a vital vote on the wrong side, has her stressed.

Angela, historically, does not respond well to stressful situations in Big Brother, and there's a good chance she'll spiral and potentially reveal this plan to someone other than Dee before Thursday. If this plan reaches Devens and he ends up staying, what happens next? It's a whole new ballgame.

No matter what happens on Thursday, I think The Crossovers is done after this week. There's no way this messiness escapes and goes unspoken, and even if he doesn't know for certain, Rick definitely has a sense that he's in danger this week. If he survives the block, he's going to do whatever it takes to make sure he doesn't see it again.

We're in for an exciting final stretch of the game, as Big Brother continues on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays on CBS. I'm not sure who is going home on Thursday, but I can't wait to see the fallout!

Kelly Clarkson has sung her final Kellyoke and encouraged her audience to have a great day (and “if it’s not, change it!”) one last time. After seven seasons, the series finale of The Kelly Clarkson Show aired on the 2026 TV schedule on August 31, with a celebration of the host and her music. It was a bittersweet day — as she said multiple times during the hourlong celebration — and her executive producer weighed in on what it was that made Clarkson so special.

Monday’s episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show saw the American Idol champion cover “Golden” from Kpop Demon Hunters and take requests from special audience members for their favorite songs from the singer’s catalog. As important as music was to the Emmy-winning talk show, though, EP Alex Duda said it’s Kelly Clarkson herself who will be missed for how she brought people together. Duda told People:

Audiences fell in love with Kelly Clarkson’s relatability over the years, whether she was bonding with Zendaya over being late, freaking out during her Nicolas Cage interview or speaking candidly with Khloé Kardashian about breakups.

The Kelly Clarkson Show and its host went through some tough times, though, forcing constant pivots. COVID hit about six months after its premiere episode, Kelly Clarkson separated from her husband Brandon Blackstock, and production moved from Los Angeles to New York. Through it all, Alex Duda said they just wanted to inject a bit of happiness into the viewers’ day:

The music was front and center in the talk show’s series finale, as Kelly Clarkson sang her hits “Since U Been Gone,” “Stronger” and what she called her third version of “Piece By Piece,” which she’d previously rewritten to shade her ex-husband.

Kelly Clarkson may have been a great host, but she seems like a great mom, too, and she had 12-year-old River and 10-year-old Remington join her on stage for the show’s final moments after explaining that they were both the reason she started the show and ultimately why she was stepping away from it.

The singer will certainly be missed on daytime TV, but Kelly Clarkson’s fans can still catch her as a coach on The Voice. The singing competition’s 30th season returns at 8 p.m. ET Monday, September 21, airing on NBC and streaming the next day with a Peacock subscription.

Alone Season 12 did something radically different than previous seasons of the History series, but since I'm just now watching with my Hulu subscription, I'm late to the party. For once, I got to see a bunch of trained survivalists attempt to win it all outside of a winter climate, and it was an almost perfect experience.

With Season 13 returning to the cold climates, I'd love to see Alone consider Africa again for future seasons. One small change I'd prefer, however, is that they stick to survivalists who are actually familiar with Africa, as it could go a long way toward improving the action.

Alone Season 12 Might've Lasted Longer With Survivalists Familiar With Africa

I noticed that Alone Season 12 took notes from fans, or at least it felt that way with fewer kill shots of animals. Of course, there was only so much the production team could be prepared for, and I wonder if they overestimated how well its cast would fare in the Great Karoo Desert.

That's confirmed by Executive Producer Ryan Pender, who told Outside the team was shocked when four of the show's ten contestants tapped out in the first week. In the end, winner Nathan Olsen lasted thirty-four days before winning, a far cry from Season 11's three finalists lasted for over 80 days in the Arctic Circle.

Pender admitted that Season 11's survivalists, even aside from their natural skills, had an advantage over Season 12. They'd seen previous contestants and their strategies. It's safe to say that if future seasons continued to happen in Africa, others could learn and potentially last longer in Alone as well.

Additionally, I also have to point out that out of all of the contestants, very few of them were familiar with the challenges unique to the African desert. Skittish prey and drinking water were huge issues, and things that most experienced survivalists haven't struggled with in past seasons. I would suggest that if they return, they find survivalists with a proven track record of desert survival or experience in Africa.

I'd Love To See Alone Try More Climates Than "Cold"

Fortunately, Pender confirmed the Alone team hasn't sworn off a return to Africa. While Season 13 put contestants back in the Arctic Circle, the EP said that there's now a road map for how to pull off a successful season in Africa, and obviously interest in finding ways to tweak the formula in a way that contestants can survive for longer.

I'm happy to hear this, especially as someone who fell in love with another reality competition show, Outlast: The Jungle. While the series didn't focus as much on the isolation aspect, I liked the fact that contestants had to continually remain active to survive. People had to hunt and forage, rather than throw a fishing line in a water source and try to keep from moving as much as possible.

Maybe the solution is not to hope Alone changes the way it runs, but I just need to start watching Alone Australia. That may hold me over for the rest of the 2026 TV schedule, as I wait to see what the flagship show does with its next season.

Watch past seasons of Alone right now on Hulu, as we all wait to see when Season 13 will hit the platform. Hey, just because it doesn't take place in a warm climate doesn't mean I'm going to skip it!

Too often, TV shows retool characters and storylines in detrimental ways, and without ever finding their way back to supremacy. But every so often, those changes compound and multiply in unpredictable ways that actually work to a series’ advantage, giving a more positive connotation to the phrase “going off the rails.”

Over on Reddit, the question was posed to the TV community to name shows that managed to actually get better after swerving completely away from whatever their starting points were. I went into it with the hopeful expectation that someone would namecheck Fox’s lunacy-encouraging Batman prequel Gotham. And I didn’t have to go far at all before that wonderfully zany show came up. But more on that shortly.

First, we have the suggested answer from the OP, which I cannot deny is something of a textbook definition for the concept. As they put it:

As someone else noted, there's no conceivable way that someone can watch the first episode of Search Party and be able to guess how it all ends. Or that the middle of it would involve Cole Escola holding Alia Shawkat's Dory hostage in a fake basement apartment meant to look like her own. It's hard to tell where that show is going from one line to the next, and even when it was technically off the rails, it was still firmly squared in.

Now let's take a look at what other shows were being subggested by commenters. (And I swear this top one isn't me, even though I fully agree with it.)

• Gotham. S1 is a typical police procedural that takes place in Gotham City with villains of the week and an overarching plot surrounding the Maroni and Falcone crime families. Starting in S2 it becomes a full-on Batman series without Batman featuring Penguin, Riddler, Azrael, Clayface, Mad Hatter, Ra's al Ghul, Bane, Joker (though they never actually refer to him as Joker in the series), and a whole assortment of Batman's rogues gallery.
• iZombie. Rob Thomas, the guy from Veronica Mars, not the one from Matchbox 20, has an escalation issue. And nowhere is this more clear than iZombie. IZombie is probably the best example of what you are looking for here. This show starts as police / mystery type procedural and becomes a global crisis World War Z affair in five seasons. It works, it flows, but man I would have enjoyed 100 episodes of the procedural.
• American Dad! The entire "Bigoted Reaganite CIA man overreacting to a post 9-11 reality" concept has been pretty much totally abandoned at this point, and the show's centrally-defining "style of humor" has changed at least twice. But it's still going strong, and although it's a different kind of funny, it's as funny as ever. 'Zooka Shaaa-uuuurks!
• Legends of Tomorrow is the perfect answer for this. that show started as discount Avengers with time travel and just said screw it we're gonna be a live action cartoon. the Beebo episode alone is proof they knew exactly what they were doing and some network exec was probably having a panic attack watching the dailies. The fact that they got John Noble to literally play a version of himself doing ADR for a demon cult is the kind of thing you can't even pitch with a straight face.

I may love Gotham more than others on this list, and I still miss it or a ton of reasons (including that nutty flash-forward finale), but it is hard to deny the other suggestions noted above. Legends of Tomorrow was so firmly on the rails in Season 1 that even light adjustments for Season 2 felt refreshing, and it only got better and wackier from there. (All hail Beebo!)

Fellow CW comic book drama IZombie was a similar case where the earliest episodes were easily the most straightforward and arguably boring in comparison to everything that came later.

Meanwhile, American Dad's opening title sequence remains a reminder of the animated comedy's relatively simple origins of "conservative father vs. liberal daughter," even though the episodes themselves became far less political early on in its run. If they hadn't, we might never have seen the Golden Turd Saga conclude (or did it?) in Episode 300.

Here are some more examples mentioned that sound pretty good to me.

• Person of Interest beginning as a police procedural and ending as an AI war is a pretty big swing.
• Riverdale was always kind of off the wall but it got categorically insane by the end and I loved it
• LOST with the whole time travel, island moving, whatever else.
• Doctor Who is probably the ultimate. The character was so different and it was intended to be educational. And the format was so different, a season was several twenty five minute, multi-part unrelated episodes as opposed to the forty five minute blend of monster of the week and series arc structure.
• Showing my age but Moonlighting (Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd) started out a basic comedy procedural but later on there was a medieval episode and a musical episode and other weirdness. I loved it at the time. Felt like no other show. Haven’t rewatched since though so I can’t say if it’s aged well.
• Melrose Place is the epitome of this. It started off as a quiet drama about various residents of a Los Angeles apartment complex, and achieved success after becoming an absolutely bonkers soap opera.
• Archer. The first ...I don't know maybe 5 seasons it's a spy comedy show and a brilliant one too, then their agency gets disbanded ( or bankrupt?) and things become wild....later on archer falls into a coma and 3 or 4 seasons are his coma dreams and even more wild. 10/10 would recommend, 11/10 with rice.

I'd almost argue that Archer took an intentional trip off the rails with its later seasons, given creator Adam Reed was in charge througout, but he never could have predicted the ISIS situation.

That said, everything else on there fits the assignment in my mind. Riverdale and Lost are two shows where Square One was already missing a rail, and I'm not sure how many fans truly think Lost only got better as it got crazier, but still.

Doctor Who's journey is so unique that nothing else even compares, but I'm sure there will come a day when Sesame Street gets some kind of gritty reboot where Big Bird goes back in time to stop Mr. Hooper from dying, and then Kimberly blows up his store. Wait, some Melrose Place is crossing over here.

It's a voice TV audiences have been hearing on a weekly (if not nightly) basis for many years now, but it appears as if that era could be over, pending an internal investigation. Wheel of Fortune announcer Jim Thornton, who has been with the series for 15 years, has been suspended from the all-timer game show, and the plan is to find a replacement for the upcoming Season 44 hitting the 2026 TV schedule.

Thornton was officially put on suspension by the bosses at Sony Pictures Televison Studios, and it's all due to an incident that took place on an American Airlines flight back in May 2026. However, Sony TV's statement to TMZ did not include any background details about the cause of the suspension, saying:

TMZ discovered the announcer, who was clearly wearing a jacket with Wheel of Fortune branding on the sleeves, was reportedly the cause for a complaint a passenger made to a flight attendant during the trip. American Airlines shared this statement, which also didn't specify the reason for the complaint:

The situation was apparently serious enough that the pilot made a call to alert those in the destination city that law enforcement would be needed upon arrival. Cops did allegedly meet Thornton at the gate. However, after questioning him, the cops eventually released him without any charges or citations.

As far as recasting goes, Sony Pictures TV will presuambly be looking to fill the role not just on the syndicated version of Wheel of Fortune, but also for the spinoff Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, which Thornton also announced for.

He first joined Pat Sajak and Vanna White on Wheel of Fortune back in 2011, following the death of Charlie O'Donnell. A former news reporter, Thornton took on smaller gigs at Price Is Right, The Soup, Celebrity Deathmatch, The Cleveland Show, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! and more before landing the biggest gig of his career. (He also serves as announcer for the 2012 video game.)

At this point, it's unclear what the timeline will be for Sony TV's investigation, but here's hoping it leads to a smooth and quick resolution.

We've seen a lot of 90 Day couples split after marriage, but it's far rarer to see a couple get right to the finish line and call things off. It does happen, however, and after Big Ed Brown and Liz Woods' wedding fell apart, it looks like Cortney Reardanz and Phil are the next to have shut things down at the last minute.

Phil and Cortney's marriage was allegedly set to take place during a 90 Day Fiancé spinoff, potentially meant to air later in the 2026 TV schedule. Now, however, it sounds like that won't happen, as the two will apparently go their separate ways after getting engaged on 90 Day: The Single Life.

Cortney And Phil's Breakup Is Allegedly Tied To Colt

90 Day: The Single Life viewers may remember that Cortney and Phil announced their engagement was off during the tell-all, due to her continued involvement with Colt Johnson behind his back. Well, to bring fans up to speed, they reconciled and were planning to get married. That allegedly came to an end when @90DayFianceUpdates reported that Cortney's continued obsession with Colt, as well as his ex-wives, led to a big argument between the two.

Since then, there have been reports that Cortney returned the ring, and that Phil was already spotted with another woman. Meanwhile, Colt remains happy in his relationship with Diana over in Brazil, and even finalized his divorce with Vanessa Guerra. Could wedding bells be in his future? I have to wonder.

Will We See This Happen On Television?

Between a called-off marriage and Yara Dufren allegedly getting called out for an affair, this 90 Day Fiancé spinoff sounds like it'll be a wild ride. The question is how much of all this drama will we see when it finally airs on TLC, or if we'll have to wait for the tell-all to get the full tea.

I would imagine Phil and Cortney's marriage was going to be filmed, so I would imagine we'll be streaming the fallout when it doesn't happen, when it's available with an HBO Max subscription. It's truly wild that this could be how it all came to an end, though, as it seemed like Cortney and Phil really liked each other and were going to last.

It's also surprising that Colt was somewhat involved in this situation, especially since Cortney largely talked about how their relationship was not great on 90 Day: The Last Resort. It's wild to think that a continued obsession with that relationship would end what could've been a happy marriage, so I'm waiting to see the full details of what went down for more insight on the relationship. Perhaps this was just the straw that broke the camel's back.

Who knows when we'll see it, as TLC hasn't officially confirmed this spinoff's existence. That said, I'll be on pins and needles waiting for the announcement, and all the wild stuff that will inevitably come out when it arrives.

Physical comedy doesn’t come easily for everyone, but Chris Farley seemed to have been crafted from a textbook. Showcased best on Saturday Night Live, Farley’s freewheeling and manic energy was also on display in Tommy Boy, Black Sheep and a handful of other features and series filmed before his untimely death at 33. Though not known for youth-skewing fare, Farley appeared on All That for one of his final TV roles, and Kenan Thompson revealed how the comedian broke one of Nickelodeon’s go-to rules for filming messy scenes.

Years before Thompson himself started his record-breaking run within the SNL cast ranks, he shared the screen with Farley in All That’s Season 3 episode “Mint Condition,” and even if the sketch wasn’t exactly the deepest idea, the experience was a core memory for Thompson. Appearing alongside his former co-star on the podcast Good Hangs with Amy Poehler via YouTube, the Good Burger star first addressed just how funny and commanding Farley was, saying:

It is quite true that I can't really see any other comedians stepping in to bring Tommy Boy's best scenes to life isntead of Chris Farley. In that he seems like the only person who could have made the "Fat Man in a Little Coat" sequence work without it being needlessly mean or weird. ("You're needlessly mean and weird." Shut up, Richard.)

For those who need a refresher on the All That segment Farley appeared in, Thompson explained the high-art concept, saying:

It's a tactic that's been addressed before by other former child actors from Nickelodeon's stable of beloved kids shows. As soon as there's a set-up to make a gigantic mess, that's apparently when everybody gets really into their job, and the push was always to make sure the on-camera splattering (be it slime, cake or otherwise) was as effective as possible.

But a performer like Chris Farley doesn't follow all the rules when he's told, and it doesn't seem like he was invested in hanging out on the All That stage for full afternoon. Because he didn't play nice when asked to go easy on the large cake being utilized for the scene. Thompson continued, with Poehler giggling in anticipation.

Simply amazing. Watching Farley in that sketch feels exactly like it sounds, as he's rolling on all cylinders and is just a boulder of energy. And knowing that he's going against the rules, advice and requests of Nickelodeon execs just makes it even funnier once he starts turning that cake into mulch.

It's always fun to hear Kenan Thompson share anecdotes from his 23 seasons on Saturday Night Live, and he shares quite a few others throughout his appearance on Good Hang. When the anecdotes have run dry, though, the new season of SNL is finally almost here.

Saturday Night Live is set to return to NBC for Season 52 on September 26, 2026, with episodes also streaming via Peacock subscription.

Following the conclusion of When Calls the Heart’s 13^th season on the 2026 TV schedule, the fan-favorite Hallmark drama is coming back for Season 14. Filming has started on the new season of WCTH, with the cast sharing plenty of BTS content. While most of the uploads have been pretty fun, Ben Rosenbaum’s post from set is bittersweet as he says goodbye to a longtime major Hickam memento.

Rosenbaum has been recurring on When Calls the Heart as Mike Hickam since the first season, meaning that Hope Valley’s former mayor has gone through quite a lot of suits over the years. Unfortunately, this means that wardrobe has probably had to throw out some suits over the years as they get worn, and it seems like that’s happening to one of the actor's favorites. He took to Instagram to share the news that he’s saying goodbye to one of Hickam’s oldest suits. Appropriately, the video is set to James Blunt’s “Goodbye My Lover.”

Considering When Calls the Heart has been on for over a decade, I can only imagine just how many outfits the wardrobe department has gone through for every character. However, the fact that Rosenbaum has to bid adieu to a suit he’s been wearing for ten seasons is definitely sad. It is impressive that it’s managed to last so long, though. Hopefully he took a lot of photos with it.

However, while Rosenbaum may have had to say goodbye to something old, he made sure to bring something new to When Calls the Heart. He and his wife and co-star Erin Krakow brought along their baby daughter to Vancouver in addition to their dog. The couple welcomed their first child back in April after revealing last fall that they were expecting. So while he's saying so long to one thing, he's gotten to have some new lovely experiences on set.

Filming for Season 14 of When Calls the Heart officially kicked off in August. As of now, not too much has been revealed about the storylines. However, Lori Loughlin is set to return as Abigail Stanton after departing in Season 6. She made a surprise cameo at the end of the Season 13 finale in March when Abigail arrived back in Hope Valley. Additionally, a chunk of the season will likely center on Nathan and Elizabeth’s impending nuptials after they finally got engaged in the season finale.

One thing for sure is that When Calls the Heart’s 14^th season will more than likely be an emotional roller coaster, both on-screen and off. Hallmark likely won’t reveal the premiere date for a couple more months, but the wait will surely be worth it. When Calls the Heart Season 14 will premiere in 2027. All 13 seasons (which feature this beloved suit) are streaming on Hallmark+.

One of my favorite pop culture topics to keep up with is Pete Davidson and Colin Jost’s Staten Island Ferry. Despite all the jokes about the ferry, the comedians do have plans for the boat, and they’re about to hold an event on it. However, putting the jokes back into the equation, it’s not shocking to me at all that Davidson gave a funny statement about the upcoming ferry gig.

To quote Saturday Night Live’s Stefon, “New York’s hottest club” could be the comedy club Snapple is creating on Davidson and Jost’s Staten Island Ferry. On September 17, the juice company is going to transform the comedians’ “famously random John F. Kennedy Staten Island Ferry purchase into the Sapple Island Ferry,” which will be a free comedy club. In reaction to all this, the King of Staten Island star said:

He makes such a good point. Turning this ferry into a free comedy club feels like the event that makes the most sense for Davidson and Jost. However, the fact that it will be held on a ferry and in collaboration with a juice and tea brand is hilariously random and unexpected. So, yes, it “still doesn’t make much sense,” but that’s part of the reason why it’s so great.

This event, which will be hosted by Davidson and Jost, will feature sets from “comedy’s fastest rising stars,” and the ferry will become New York City’s “most unexpected place to laugh, sip and take a break.” It’s free, tickets will drop daily at 3 p.m. ET between September 3 and 8, and then on September 17, doors will open at 7 p.m. ET at Pier 17.

Overall, this sounds like a great idea for a ferry, and the fact that it’s both random and fitting feels perfectly on brand for the comedians’ hilariously random business venture.

Now, this isn’t the first random collaboration Jost and Davidson have done with their ferry that they keep getting asked about. For example, last year, Nike got involved with the boat to create an ad for the New York City Marathon.

So, yes, this ferry is becoming more than a punchline. However, there’s no denying that it still makes for a great joke, as Snapple’s event proves. The last few years prove that too, as Scarlett Johansson’s reaction to the ferry was funny, Jost’s Shark Tank-esque pitch about his boat was hilarious, and just about anytime this floating vessel gets brought up in an interview, the guys have something entertaining to say about it.

With that said, when this comedy event from Snapple happens later this month, I’ll be curious to see how many Staten Island Ferry jokes are made during the event. I mean, it’s a stand-up comedy event on a ferry owned by two comedians…the jokes basically write themselves.

Spoilers ahead for Lanterns Episode 3 "Outkast."

The DCU's first slate of projects is titled Gods and Monsters, and includes stories told on both the big screen and streaming with a HBO Max subscription. The latest release is the new show Lanterns, which features both Kyle Chandler's Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre's John Stewart. The third episode "Outkast" showed the latter's backstory, and now one writer is responding to claims the show is "woke".

What we know about Lanterns has been limited, and there's been a ton of discourse over the new series online. While there was some backlash to there not being enough green in early footage, there's been a ton of chatter lately about John's history. Specifically how the Stewart family spoke about the Black experience in "Outkast", with some naysayers claiming the show was "too woke." Writer Vanessa Baden Kelly responded to these claims in an interview with The Wrap, saying:

There you go. It seems like Baden Kelly isn't taking the Lanterns backlash to heart. Namely because John Stewart's Blackness has always been a major aspect of the long-running superhero's history. She's seemingly standing by the script she wrote for "Outkast" and is pointing the source material for folks who are unhappy with the episode's contents and calling it "woke".

Episode 3 revealed John's childhood decades earlier, where racial inequality was worse than it is now. In the flashbacks his mother Bernadette (played by OG Hamilton star Jasmine Cephas Jones) spoke about how Black people needed to work twice as hard to get half as far, and also cued in Laura Linney's Lianna to how racism works on Earth. As the writer went on to explain, this was key to crafting a new backstory for Aaron Pierre's hero. In her words:

Personally, I thought that these discussions were part of what made "Outkast" such a strong episode of Lanterns. Seeing how John's family struggled with his father almost being chosen to be a Green Lantern was fascinating, along with the unconventional way they tried to raise him to be fearless. And while we're following a show involving an intergalactic law enforcement agency, including discussions about the Black experience helped make the story feel all the more real and human. As the writer points out, this has always been part of John's character on the page.

Lanterns airs new episodes Sundays on HBO as part of the 2026 TV schedule. We'll just have to wait and see how John and Hal's relationship changes throughout the rest of the show's first season.

Lori Loughlin is continuing to get her acting career back on track following her role in the College Admissions Scandal. The actress has slowly been taking on more acting jobs in recent years, and she recently returned to When Calls the Heart as Abigail Stanton amid the 2026 TV schedule after departing in the middle of Season 6. As she gears up for a bigger return for the upcoming season of the Hallmark drama, she’s made her way back to Instagram, and her Full House co-stars were on hand to welcome her back.

While Loughlin has been featureed in Instagram posts with her When Calls the Heart co-stars as filming continues on Season 14, she never formally made a post herself. That is, until now. This week, Loughlin made her long-awaited return to the social media platform with a fun post. She wrangled in some help from her Full House family, including John Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, Scott Weinger, Andrea Barber, and Dave Coulier, who all referenced the in-series talk show, Wake Up, San Francisco! Not only do I love that Loughlin incorporates Wake Up, San Francisco! into her Instagram return, but that she has help from her former Full (and Fuller) House co-stars. All in all, their involvement makes her comeback all the more special. The icing on the cake, though, is a clip of the late Bob Saget as Danny Tanner, which serves as a fitting tribute to the beloved comedian. All in all, I honestly couldn't love this post more.

Of course, much of the Full House cast is still close, but it’s refreshing to know that Loughlin is included in that closeness, especially since she was cut from the final episodes of Fuller House due to her legal issues. The only thing that would make this post better is another actual reunion with the cast, and I need it now more than ever.

Loughlin’s return to Instagram couldn’t have come at a better time, given her return to When Calls the Heart for the upcoming 14^th season. She starred in the first five seasons of the show as Abigail Stanton before leaving in the middle of Season 6. Loughlin’s potential return had been teased for a while and, when Hallmark announced the renewal last year, her comeback was also confirmed. Fans were also ecstatic when she appeared in the final moments of the Season 13 finale, which saw Abigail arriving back in Hope Valley.

I cannot wait to see the kind of posts that Loughlin shares now that she's officially back on Instagram. If they’re anything like the posts she used to share, I might have to turn those notifications on. That aside, though, just seeing the Full House cast get together to welcome her back makes me want to rewatch the show. So it's a good thing it’s streaming with a Hulu subscription, while Fuller House is streamable with a Netflix subscription.

Drew Campbell's HOH put him in a rough spot, with Yash Patel winning the veto and forcing him to put up someone he's working closely with. Fortunately, Rick Devens volunteered and saved him the awkwardness of deliberation about putting up Melody Morris or Barrett Pfeiffer. That said, there's a general unease amongst The Crossovers alliance, in which the Icons are concerned about where Barrett and Drew's loyalties lie.

Those watching Big Brother online have wondered the same, as both say different things depending on who they are talking to. That changed last night, I believe, after a telling conversation between Yash, Melody, and Barrett explained exactly where the newbies of The Crossovers stand with the rest of their alliance.

Barrett Confirmed He Plans To Flip On The Icons If Devens Loses The BB Blockbuster

While Dee Valladares and Devens made sure to stick by him for a good chunk of the day, we finally got to see Barrett open up about his plans once he was hanging out with Yash and Melody Morris. There, he made it clear he wants to work with them, and if the opportunity presents itself, get out Devens should he lose the BB Blockbuster.

Skeptics will point out that's exactly what Yash and Melody want to hear, and is once again a textbook case of him playing the middle. I would argue against that, mainly because we've seen a change in him since Mallory Aurichio's eviction that we hadn't seen previously. He's not feeding Dee intel like he used to, and while he plays cool in front of the Icons, it's clear he feels it's time to make a move against them.

Granted, this is all assuming that Devens doesn't win Blockbuster. If he does, I would fully expect Barrett to reverse course and remain Crossovers loyal unless he gets another opportunity to turn the tables. This all really hinges on Taylor Brown and Lala Verrett being able to beat out Rick, and if you enjoy entertaining live feeds and seeing the newbies make moves to win Big Brother, you'll be rooting for them on Thursday.

Melody And Barrett Believe Drew Is Still Crossovers Loyal, But Can Be Flipped

While Barrett sounds fully committed to joining a new majority alliance, both he and Melody are in agreement that Drew is decidedly Crossovers loyal. Barrett said he thinks that the current HOH believes that working with The Crossovers is his only path to victory, and Melody chimed in (via Big Brother Bitez on X):

One thing that Barrett, Melody, and Yash all agreed on, however, is that if they go through with the plan to evict Devens, they can pull Drew in. I tend to agree, because with Barrett betraying The Crossovers and Devens gone, he'd be forced to be loyal to Dee (whose nominated him for eviction twice) and Angela Murray.

Not only would he no longer be in a majority alliance, but he's with people who have some of the worst relationships with the remaining Houseguests. It only makes sense to jump ship at that point and steamroll remaining Icons if that's a possibility.

Even Dee has quietly admitted in her cam talks that it's the smart play with Devens gone, and is questioning why her biggest ally ever willingly agreed to go on the block. She's just crossing her fingers he can win the BB Blockbuster, and if not, hoping she can find an in elsewhere amongst the remaining Houseguests. I kind of think her game was sunk before this, but if Devens leaves, I don't see how Dee wins that prize money.

We're in for another exciting Big Brother episode on Thursday in which Barrett could effectively turn the tables on the Icons. Now all that's left to do is see if the pieces fall into place, or if Devens can save himself with a clutch win.

No matter how many years go by, I’ll likely always have Seinfeld on my list of desert-island shows, given how funny and easily rewatchable nearly all of the episodes are. (I mean, it’s also one of the best sitcoms of all time, so I’m not exactly preaching heresy here.) One of the show’s most endearing qualities, at least to me, is how often character details and past situations are suggested by Jerry & Co. without being explained, allowing viewers to fill in the blanks however we so choose.

But as any TV fanatic knows, when a TV show utilizes lore in such a half-explained way, endless rewatches tend to drive up one’s curiosity to the point where it’s like, “WHY DIDN’T THEY JUST TELL US THE THING WITH THEIR WORDS?!?” You know? Ahem. Case in point: a Reddit thread asked for Seinfeld fans’ unanswered questions from the sitcom, and the list of inquiries and comments (both legitimate and joking) is pretty massive. And entirely relatable for someone like me who would much rather needlessly theorize about sitcom plot mechanics than provide sustenance for family members. (Sorry, guys.)

The OP asking the question offered up what may actually be the best question of the entire thread, since it directly plays into Seinfeld keeping certain serialized details — jobs, relationships, etc. — while eschewing others. (Note that for the suggestion below and others, I've also added the episode titles.)

Honestly, this question should be put on the same pedestal as Friends' "Were Ross and Rachel on a break?" since it actually defies logic in such a frustrating way for anyone watching the show who actually wanted George to win. As much as I can understand that a successful George is not a funny ideal, it has long vexed me why he didn't make "do the opposite" an annual ploy, if not just outright adopting it for life.

Beyond the over-arching questions like how Kramer pays for his apartment despite starting laundry list of failed money-making schemes and companies, or why Jerry just can't find the right woman, here's are some other fan questions that had me yelling "Same!" at my laptop, followed by my own comments underneath each.

• What was Uncle Leo’s crime of passion? ("The Bookstore")
  • We knew Uncle Leo for years before finding out he went to jail for a crime of passion, so how are we not gonna spend the next few decades wondering what he did?
• Why did Christie wear the same black and white dress over and over? ("The Seven")
  • A classic case of "Is this just a bizarre coincidence or is one character a total lunatic?" And I have to assume it's the latter.
• What happened at Bob Sacamano’s party? ("The Fatigues")
  • What DIDN'T happen at that party, amirite? But no, really, what wasn't it?
• Did Elaine ever find the grape that fell on the floor? ("The Stock Tip")
  • I'd love a flash-forward to after the finale and everyone gets out of jail, and Elaine goes back to her apartment and sees the grape is just right there in plain sight.
• How old would Aunt Baby be now? ("The Money")
  • On second thought, learning anything new about Aunt Baby sounds terrifying.
• How much did the jacket cost? ("The Jacket")
  • Would it have been enough for Jerry to put a down payment on a new Cadillac for his dad?

  • Somebody downtown had to know, but are they telling?

For Lisa Kudrow and the other stars of Friends, that’s the TV role they’ll always be remembered for, regardless of the other work they’ve gone on to do. Ask them about it, though, and they’ll mostly tell you they’re OK with that. Friends, after all, is what skyrocketed them to fame and allowed them so many other opportunities (not to mention how it continues to make them millions every year). Kudrow says call her “Phoebe” all you want, but there’s one fan request she simply won’t do.

Lisa Kudrow has a lot of love for Phoebe Buffay, the character she played on Friends for 10 seasons (she also played Phoebe’s twin sister Ursula, who appeared on Friends and Mad About You). She even cried at how happy Phoebe was when her character married Mike (Paul Rudd) late in the series. So when she was asked on NPR’s Fresh Air about her relationship with the show, she had glowing things to say:

That is completely understandable, and I think Lisa Kudrow might want to look into how Bryan Cranston trolls Breaking Bad fans who ask him to recite a famous Walter White line.

There have been a few fans — celebrity fans, I should say — who have been lucky enough to hear a post-Friends Lisa Kudrow sing Phoebe’s most famous song. The actress once joined Taylor Swift on stage for a “Smelly Cat” duet (I can’t decide who I’m more jealous of!), and Lady Gaga sang the kitty ditty with her on Friends: The Reunion back in 2021.

Friends still means so much to so many people, including me (I watch it with my HBO Max subscription every night to go to sleep). But hopefully fans can help Lisa Kudrow keep all the positivity she associates with the sitcom by respecting her boundaries when it comes to “Smelly Cat.”

When Dungeon Crawler Carl author Matt Dinniman and audiobook narrator Jeff Hays were recently asked about the secret to keeping a certain feline character from the series from being a joke, my first impulse was to express Donut-level outrage -- MONGO IS APPALLED! How could Princess Donut possibly ever be a joke?... And yet, as someone who's had to describe the series to people who haven't read the series, ok, I get it. "So this guy and his ex-girlfriend's cat are trying to survive this alien-run intergalactic game show, but he's barefoot and in boxers, and the cat can talk..." It's a fair question.

During the ScreenRant interview, Dinniman encouraged Hays to answer the question, and I absolutely adore his answer. Hays voices Princess Donut (along with countless other characters) for the DCC audiobooks. In addition to explaining why people don't see Princess Donut The Queen Anne Chonk as a joke, he also managed to sum up what I love so much about her.

I love the care Hays takes in answering the question, and how succinct he is in the way he sums up what makes Donut such a great character. Yes, she's a cat, but she's a fully developed character within the story, with thoughts, opinions, choices to make and lessons to learn. There are moments in the series you would absolutely not want to mess with her, and moments when she's so sweet and vulnerable -- as Hays pointed out.

I talked about my love for Carl and Donut's relationship a bit when we shared the comments Matt Dinniman made at Comic-Con about originally planning to separate Carl and Donut early on in the series. (Thank goodness that didn't happen.) One of the best things about the series is seeing Donut and Carl's characters evolve as they experience new things and develop trust with each other.

I love the approach Dinniman has taken with Donut in particular, because she can be so funny at times, but she's always lovable and fiercely protective of the ones she loves. Dinniman has said he was inspired to create a cat character after attending cat shows, and there's undoubtedly humor in the way Donut is portrayed. It's easy to see why people might assume she's there for laughs, but readers of the series know better, and clearly so does Hays.

It's an understatement to say that Jeff Hays does an amazing job of bringing the story to life with his voice for the audiobooks. Hearing him describe Donut the way he does shows what a solid grasp he has on one of the best characters he gets to portray. It's one more reason I'm really glad he'll be voicing donut for the planned Dungeon Crawler Carl TV show. So far, he's the only person cast in the book-to-screen adaptation of the series, which will eventually be available to those with a Peacock description. Between the show and the anticipated Book 9 of the Dungeon Crawler Carl series, we have a lot to look forward to!

90 Day: The Last Resort took a step back from analyzing Sarper and Shekinah Güven's drama and decided to shift to some of the other couples they highlighted this season. Rebecca Parrot and Zied Hakimi got a chance to shine, and unfortunately, they're beginning to sound like a broken record.

I'd be more forgiving if the storyline for the 2026 TV schedule wasn't the same one we've been hearing since they started 90 Day Fiancé. Once again, their marriage is on the brink of collapse, and it's the same old song and dance we've heard across numerous spinoffs. I'm sick of it, and this spinoff isn't the cure.

I'm So Sick Of Rebecca's Endless Quest To Catch Zied Cheating

Rebecca and Zied's entire relationship revolves around her paranoia that he'll leave her for various reasons. Whether it's a younger woman or wanting to return to Tunisia, she's constantly obsessing and searching for evidence that he's looking for an out. This leads to arguments, demanding to see his phone, and Zied being upset.

It seems at least one of them is sick of that, as 90 Day: The Last Resort appears to show Zied kind of fed up with the song and dance. As a fan, I agree, because at what point does a married 90 Day couple go through this before they split? I guess we could get that answer at the recommitment ceremony, or even sooner.

Are Rebecca And Zied Even Still Together?

While Rebecca shared a post that hinted they were still together in July, it seems the situation has changed. A post on Instagram from 90DayFiancéUpdate showed screenshots of photos from Rebecca's daughter-in-law, which replied to pictures posted online of Zied's alleged Tinder profile. While she didn't outright say it in her long posts, it gave the impression Rebecca and Zied are no longer together.

If this is true, then it's looking like yet another 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 3 couple has decided to end things. We already know Patrick Mendez and Thaís Ramone are getting divorced, and Shekinah and Sarper also don't seem to be together at the moment. Take that, paired with the fact that we have little evidence that Kara Leona and Guillermo Rojer ever reconciled after their split, and this may be the least successful cast to appear on the spinoff yet.

All this being said, perhaps it's best for all these couples to move on if a successful marriage isn't in the cards. There's always a chance for them to find love again, and other spinoffs to appear on when that happens!

90 Day: The Last Resort continues on TLC on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. ET. It feels like the recommitment ceremony is just around the corner, which is good news because that means the tell-all isn't far off!

Spoilers ahead for anyone who hasn’t yet watched Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro on ABC or with a Disney+ subscription.

We now know who won DWTS: The Next Pro and which of the final three we’ll see in Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars when it debuts. And while I’m fully on board with the crowning of someone who was a definite contender from the beginning, I would love to see the other two finalists also make it to the main show in some capacity. They’re certainly deserving of the opportunity.

After The Next Pro semi-finalists had the opportunity to choreograph for DWTS pro dancers, the final episode put them to the ultimate test, working with celebs from past seasons to create two performances – the competitors’ favorite style of ballroom or Latin and a freestyle dance. Selena Hamilton was paired with Season 26 winner and Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon, A.J. Pritchard had Season 31 winner and social media personality Charli D’Amelio as his partner, and Adele Zaikman teamed up with TV host/producer Nev Schulman, who came in second place in Season 29.

When I heard which past DWTS celebrities would be joining the last three competitors, it seemed that A.J. might be getting an advantage by dancing with someone who won most recently. But after watching their first performances, it felt like it was anyone’s final to win and that the freestyle would likely be playing a big part in the ultimate decision.

Outside of the competition, it was fun to see DWTS Season 34 winners Robert Irwin and Witney Carson team up to not only co-host, but to kick the finale off by dancing together again, alongside judges Mark Ballas, Shirley Ballas, and Derek Hough. Robert also sat down with the final three dancers to hear about their experiences in the competition. The behind-the-scenes moments throughout the episodes have been one of my favorite aspects of The Next Pro, and while DWTS does a little bit of that, I hope they’ll do more in the future.

And then, everything came down to the freestyle dances, just like it does in the finale of Dancing with the Stars. Personally, Selena was hands-down the winner of this round for me. She was an absolute star who embodied everything that I love about a finale freestyle performance, delivering a stunning dance that, as Shirley Ballas declared, would be ranked as one of the best on DWTS. Comparatively, A.J. and Adele were also fantastic with an insane level of technical skill. Their freestyles included a combination of ballroom and Latin dances, and both dancers were able to unleash all their years of competitive training.

Ultimately, it was Adele who took The Next Pro crown, and I will definitely look forward to watching her in the upcoming DWTS season. I don’t want to take away from her deserved win, but I do hope to see Selena and A.J. on the main series in the future. They’ve both proven to be versatile, dynamic dancers who can teach partners of varying degrees of ability, as well as dance with other pros.

Now that The Next Pro has concluded its run on the 2026 TV schedule, the official line-up of celebrities officially confirmed for Dancing with the Stars Season 35, which includes a pregnant Witney Carson, will be revealed on Good Morning America on September 2^nd. And then, you can watch them compete for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy when things kick off with a two-night premiere event that begins on September 15^th.

Spoiler warning - I guess? - for anyone who hasn't yet watched The Robot Chicken Adult Swim Special on Adult Swim or streaming via HBO Max subscription.

A perfect future would include monthly premieres of new Robot Chicken specials inspired by every corner of pop culture imaginable. (I’m waiting for a Stephen King Halloween special, for instance.) But until that possibility exists, the next best thing is The Robot Chicken Adult Swim Special, a decades-spanning mega-crossover celebrating the legion of offbeat animation and live-action creations that turned Cartoon Network’s evening blocks into a perverse and subversive phenomenon. It’s a truly chaotic love letter, which is the approach that makes Robot Chicken one of the best animated shows of all time.

Given the all-encompassing perspective, Rick and Morty fans such as yours truly wondered why the sci-fi comedy’s characters and their voice actors weren’t noted in the marketing materials, and many are possibly still wondering why they weren’t “officially” represented in the special. So I asked co-creators Seth Green and Matthew Senreich to address the R&M-shaped elephant absent from the room, and Green (while chuckling) offered up the most practical explanation, saying:

Amusingly enough, the grandfather and grandson's absence was directly referenced by Lucy, the Daughter of the Devil's Lucy herself, who said, "They're way too important to be here," when asked. But Green's explanation does make enough sense, in that Rick Sanchez is capable of getting out of literally any bad situation, and he could have solved the narrative plight without the need for Aqua Teen's Meatwad to team up with Assy McGee, Eagleheart's Chris Monsanto and Bitch Puddin'. And we needed that team-up.

Green continued, pointing out that the limited runtime also put a cap on any excess plans that the creative team might have had. In his words:

My gawd. It's not clear if the other 22 minutes of dialogue that got recorded were all from sequences that weren't used in the final cut, or if it was mostly additional lines cut out of existing scenes from the episode. But either way, I'd love to listen to all of it however possible.

The Family Guy star then poked fun by bringing up the photo opp costumed characters who appear on the boat, saying:

At that point, I jokingly chided both of the co-creators for not landing Keith David for the Adult Swim special, to which Green replied:

I like the idea of either Seth Green or Matthew Senreich calling up Keith David's agent and publicist out of the blue just to say they won't be asking him to join the new special because the water looks too good to afford him. Life without sporadic bouts with confusion is boring, I say.

In any case, it's unclear if Lawyer Morty was originally conceived for R&M's Harry Beldon to voice, or if the role was always meant to be handled in-house. Either way it goes, there was more than enough to enjoy that the duo's absence wasn't so glaring.

To date, Robot Chicken has revised Star Wars history, brought laughs to The Walking Dead’s post-apocalypse, parodied DC’s superheroes, filthied up Archie Comics characters and crossed over with the 90 Day Fiance-verse, among others. What other specials will come next? That’s a mystery only Mike Tyson could solve.

Actually, no, it was announced at Annecy that the Robot Chicken team's next full-length special will be flipping Adult Swim script to honor all of the Cartoon Network originals that became hits in the '90s and beyond.

With the fall TV season starting in September, it’s no surprise that the hit CBS series Tracker has kicked off filming for Season 4. What is a nice surprise is to learn that Jensen Ackles will definitely return as Colter Shaw’s brother Russell and has already been back on set.

It’s no secret that show star Justin Hartley and Ackles aren't actually siblings, but are good friends. That’s how the Supernatural star ended up playing his onscreen older brother in the first place. It also makes their dynamic really natural and really fun to watch. And thankfully, we’ll get to do so again soon, as the series returns to the 2026 TV schedule on October 4^th. Now check out his latest post below!

Last seen in the Season 3 finale, Russell Shaw told Reenie (Fiona Rene) that he might disappear for a while and asked that she not let Colter in on any of the details. The brothers were able to get some answers about the complicated Shaw family history, but things with Ackles’ character were left in a rather mysterious place after he received some news about their family history. So, hopefully, we’ll get some answers about what he’s been up to and what it could mean in the future.

Hartley and Ackles make a great team, with the only complaint about The Boys star’s time on Tracker being that he’s just not around enough. Sure, he’s been in at least one episode per season, but he’s a grounding presence for Colter’s lone-wolf, tracking down people across the U.S. for reward money. As the Shaw brothers got more answers about what was going on just before the death of their father, we got to see more of Russell in Season 3, and it would be a huge plus to see that continue in the fourth season.

While details on what Jensen Ackles will be up to in Season 4 are not yet known, at the recent Televerse 26 television festival, Justin Hartley, who does as many of his own stunts as possible, did tease that Russell needs a favor from Colter. So, if they’re working a case together, the siblings will likely have to confront whatever secret the older brother has been keeping from the younger. As Entertainment Weekly reported, the This is Us alum continued by saying:

I know that I, for one, will be very curious to see how things go down between the Shaw brothers when Tracker returns for Season 4. The images that Jensen Ackles posted on Instagram don’t give anything away, so we don’t have much to go on, aside from his own declaration that he got a much-needed summer break with his real-life family.

Now that he’s been back on set and Ackles and Hartley resume their brotherly roasting both onscreen and offscreen, at least we’ll get some answers soon. In the meantime, we can keep an eye out for more possible BTS content as we wait to see what’s in store for the new season.

Ever since Agatha All Along's conclusion, I’ve been patiently waiting for VisionQuest, which is the conclusion to the trilogy that began with WandaVision. With that, I have been eagerly soaking up every single tease I can get. Though until I saw the full trailer, I never thought I'd be this excited to see Ultron again. And I'm also now loving the crazy way Paul Bettany and James Spader sum up the genocidal robot's dynamic with Vision in the new series.

Bettany and Spader are now starting to speak more about their experience making this upcoming Marvel show. Earlier this summer, Bettany even described his co-star as “delicious” to work with. The new trailer shows the various AIs that are populating the "ghastly mansion" in Vision's Mindspace. Their different personalities offer him feedback as he gathers information about human beings. But the most important "guide" seems to be Ultron, who has taken on the unlikely role of mentor. During Disney's D23, Bettany discussed that dynamic with Rotten Tomatoes:

Given his actions in Age of Ultron, it’s hard to imagine the Avengers' technological adversary as someone who'd be sought out for advice. That said, I love this kind of quirky relationship between the robotic father and son, and I’m sensing we have another fan-favorite MCU pairing on the horizon. What's more is that this 2026 TV schedule release is also following the same theme of parenthood covered by its predecessors.

WandaVision explored Wanda Maximoff and Vision's burgeoning roles as parental partners, while Agatha All Along focused on motherhood. (That latter also gave us an amazing performance from Kathryn Hahn.) VisionQuest is expected to specifically play with themes of fatherhood. In fact, series creator Terry Matalas said his initial pitch was greatly inspired by the scene in Age of Ultron that sees Vision and the titular character having one last conversation. Bettany described the dynamic in the show with some more funny and intriguing thoughts:

During the interview, Bettany was asked to further clarify who was the therapist and who was the patient in this scenario. After he pointed to Spader, the two exchanged some humorous comments:

• Bettany: [Points to Spader]. Which is the craziest idea ever! [Laughs]
• Spader: Thank you, Terry Metalas. Because I'm giving him life advice. I'm his life coach.
• Bettany: My psychopathic life coach.

What also stands out amongst Bettany’s is hisWandaVision. It's making me wonder how similar this latest dynamic will be to Wanda and Agatha’s. Hahn’s character both taught and antagonized Wanda, which makes me feel like Ultron will take on a similar (though more humorous) role for Vision.

Paul Bettany's last MCU appearance was in that aforementioned 2021 show, in which Wanda created a living version of him in the Hex. At the same time, the government rebuilt the real Vision, but gave him a white coating. Those two androids came into contact with each other and, ultimately, White Vision gained the memories of his predecessor before flying off to parts unknown.

There are still plenty of details fans don't know when it comes to what's in store for White Vision's latest chapter. However, I'm excited by Marvel TV boss Brad Winderbaum's tease about the new show being “so rewarding” for fans of both the trilogy and the MCU, specifically the Infinity Saga. So I’m expecting great things, especially in regard to Paul Bettany and James Spader bringing their A-game to their roles.

Turns out if you watched Multiverse of Madness, and something about the Scarlet Witch’s story bothered you, it may not be in your head. Apparently, even Elizabeth Olsen knew something was different with this particular storyline for her fan-favorite character. And, as it turns out, there’s a reason for it. The actor admitted that the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness writers weren't aware of the finer details within WandaVision, which is why we got that evil Scarlet Witch story.

In the movie, Wanda Maximoff embarks upon a destructive path through the multiverse in an attempt to get back her children, given they faded away with the Hex at the end of WandaVision. However, at the end of the movie, she makes the ultimate sacrifice. Again. As for how much the writers knew about the parallels between the script and the show, Maximoff said this to No Script Needed:

Yikes. I’m not sure if Olsen meant to be so blunt, yet I appreciate having an answer after all this time. I can also understand how it would be a bit jarring for her to go from that Bewitched-inspired series with Paul Bettany’s Vision to an all-out villainous arc in Doctor Strange. And Wanda's story REALLY goes there.

Multiverse of Madness sees Maximoff tearing through an assortment of multiverse characters in creative yet gruesome ways. (I've still not recovered from Black Bolt's demise.) While her actions are more violent than what she does in the sitcom dome in WandaVision, the themes of grief and the pain of loss are the same. And Wanda comes to similar realizations at the end of both arcs, something which Olsen admits was difficult for her:

However, despite the dark and tragic turn for the Scarlet Witch, it hasn’t stopped rumors from swirling around the upcoming Mutant Saga and how she might factor in. The speculation suggests that Wanda will be “one of the main leads - and villains.” Given one of the origins for Wanda ties to mutants in the comics, specifically Magneto and her twin, Quicksilver, it’s not an improbable rumor. Additionally, Olsen has shared that the comic she most wants to adapt is House of M, which is a storyline that finds Wanda saying “no more mutants” and taking away their powers. With Marvel Studios' X-Men reboot on the way, I'm not sure that'll happen but, hey, wilder things have happened.

For now, I'm looking forward to the VisionQuest series finally hitting the 2026 TV schedule on October 14. It's unknown if the seemingly deceased Wanda will make an appearance, yet Marvel TV's Brad Winderbaum says the show is “rewarding for fans of the WandaVision trilogy.” I'd personally love to see Elizabeth Olsen play the character again but, as of right now, she's denied that she'll return as the Scarlet Witch anytime soon.

And, while I'm glad we have answer to that Wanda story, I hope that if we do see her again, any writers involved are aware of the more nuanced details of her journey And, with that, they could can offer us (and Olsen) something new. For now, stream all of Wanda's MCU appearances using a Disney+ subscription.

The 2026 TV schedule is seeing the end of an era for another beloved daytime talk show. Following Sherri’s cancellation earlier this year, Kelly Clarkson is officially closing the chapter for The Kelly Clarkson Show. The series finale is set to air on Monday, and not surprisingly, Clarkson closed the show in a big way. Both of her kids joined her for the finale, and I am seriously in my feels.

Clarkson revealed in February that she would be ending her talk show later this year. In a statement, she noted she wanted to prioritize her kids following the death of their father and her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, last summer. Her daughter River Rose, 12, and son Remington Alexander, 10, have appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show numerous times over the years, so it only makes sense that they would be in the audience for their mom’s big send-off.

Showrunner and executive producer Alex Duda told People that the finale includes throwback clips of the kids’ time on the show, and it really gives you a perspective of just how much has changed over the years. Not only that, but when they recalled their favorite moments from the series, all River had to tell her mom was “watching you shine,” and I am feeling all sorts of feelings:

Considering River was just five and Remy was only three when The Kelly Clarkson Show began, it’s really astounding to see how much they’ve grown. And the fact that, after all that they’ve seen their mom do on her talk show, River’s favorite moment was just seeing her shine is melting my heart. And I can’t get enough of it.

I love that Clarkson’s kids were in the audience for the finale, and I can only imagine how much more special that made the episode. While wrapping up The Kelly Clarkson Show was bittersweet, as fans will soon see when the finale airs, it seems like Clarkson and the crew definitely went out with a bang that was as emotional as ever. Plus, those new Emmy nominations don’t hurt.

If I’m in my feelings already just hearing about what the finale has involved, I cannot imagine how I’m going to be when I actually watch the finale. Even though Clarkson and her crew have had a while to prepare for the end, I can only imagine how hard it truly was when it came time to film these final episodes. It’s going to be hard to say goodbye to The Kelly Clarkson Show, but I’m looking forward to what else the American Idol winner has up her sleeve. Check local listings to see when the final episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show will be airing on Monday.

The Rookie is coming back for Season 9, not on the 2026 TV schedule, but in 2027. While fans are going to have to wait a little longer to see what happens after the Season 8 finale cliffhanger, filming on the new season has started. Aside from the cliffhanger and crossovers with new spinoff, The Rookie: North, not too much has been shared about what else to expect. However, Jelly Roll is throwing his hand into the ring to guest star in a future episode, and I know just who he should play.

Jelly Roll Wants To Be On The Rookie

Even though the Grammy-winning artist is focusing mostly on his music, he’s been venturing into acting in recent years. Jelly Roll made his television acting debut in 2024 on Sylvester Stallone’s Tulsa King, later appearing on the CBS drama Fire Country. Now he has The Rookie in his sights, after initially turning down the ABC procedural. It was brought up on Jimmy Kimmel Live! when Jelly Roll was guest hosting and Nathan Fillion was a guest, the moment still haunts him:

It’s understandable that Jelly Roll had to bow out of his guest appearance, and it’s definitely not his fault that he got sick. I can only imagine that he was as happy as ever when he found out Fillion would be on Jimmy Kimmel Live! when he was guest hosting, and he took the opportunity to beg for another chance. And I have an idea for the kind of character that would be perfect.

Who Jelly Roll Should Play

Funny enough, Fillion admitted he “knows a guy” on The Rookie, and wondered if Jelly Roll has any experience with police. While the “Son of a Sinner” singer shared he probably wouldn’t be able to play a cop, he can definitely play someone on the other side. Just what kind of character he’d be willing to portay is hard to tell, but from his enthusiasm I wouldn’t be surprised if he’d be down for anything. But I have a fun idea.

Personally I would love to see Jelly Roll as someone from Nolan’s past, perhaps one of his former colleagues from his days as a construction contractor back in Pennsylvania. His character is in Los Angeles for whatever reason, maybe on vacation, maybe he gets into some kind of trouble back East and wants Nolan’s help. Or maybe Nolan goes back to Pennsylvania for some reason and runs into Jelly Roll’s character.

Additionally, Fillion also revealed that they’re bringing Pete Davidson back as Nolan’s brother Pete, and just seeing the three of them together in one scene would be incredible. Whether or not Davidson is actually finally coming back, or if Fillion means that they’re still trying since, as he said, Davidson is busy, is hard to tell. But if anything, manifesting can’t hurt.

I just know that whoever Jelly Roll plays on The Rookie is going to be an episode to remember. Hopefully his dream of being on the show happens soon, because now I need it. For now, Season 9 of The Rookie will premiere in 2027 on ABC. All eight seasons are available to stream with a Hulu subscription.

Dragon Ball Super is set to return before too long, and while it's not on the 2026 TV schedule, fans have plenty to be excited about. In addition to dropping that recent reference to Vegeta's previously unseen mother, the anime franchise is teaming up with Burger King for the first time since the 2000s for an awesome collaboration. And it's certainly making this longtime fan giddy.

The Dragon Ball Meal Comes With Exclusive Food Items And Super Figurines

In a move surely meant to appeal to mine and many other millennials and our love of nostalgia, Burger King has a special meal on the way. In addition to serving up some cool new food items, the chain is also offering something just about all anime fans love: figurines. BK has specifically revealed the Dragon Ball Super Power Up Pack for adults, and Dragon Ball Super King Jr. Meal for the kids. All who purchase either meal will be able to get one of six figurines, which the brand revealed on its official Instagram account:

As someone so stoked at all times for new Dragon Ball, this is right up my alley, and the food only sweetens the deal. Those who buy will get chicken nuggets with "Super Saiyan sauce," which is teriyaki-flavored. The Dragon Ball Burst lemonade is peach-flavored but has Mango-popping bob.

Seriously, this is some sweet brand synergy and a good move on BK's part. Not only that, but there's one aspect of my experience with DB merchandise that I can't help but think about on the heels of this fast food announcement.

This Reminds Me Of Burger King Offering Dragon Ball Z Toys In The 2000s

It's wild that Dragon Ball Super is getting some love from Burger King when the series isn't even actively on VT, but the two have worked together in the past. BK did a DB toy run back in 2000 with a set of metallic toys that came paired with a trading card. And this happened again in 2003, with a Powerpuff Girls-themed toy serving as an alternative.

The arrival of these Dragon Ball meals comes as the franchise promises to continue Super's anime, which hasn't aired an episode since 2018. The franchise is also remastering past arcs of Super, and there's hope the manga will resume with new arcs before too long.

With so much fan interest in new Dragon Ball material, it's wild to think there was ever a fear the franchise would fade following creator Akira Toriyama's death. Provided fans keep buying up the commemorative meals, games and everything else in between, I feel like Dragon Ball could continue to be one of the most celebrated anime in history, and continue to inspire young fans to try and go Super Saiyan.

I'm still shocked to see its continued embrace in the United States, as a kid who grew up watching Toonami and thinking it was some niche interest. Also, fans can grab one of those Burger King meals starting on September 1.

60 Minutes’ season premiere is near and, in the lead-up, there’s been much discussion about the show’s direction. The long-running news magazine program has seen major changes in recent months, with many of those having been executed by CBS News Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss. Several of Weiss’ decisions have been chastised, and some of those criticisms have come from some individuals who used to work for the company. Now, a source is weighing in on the supposed "incompetence" that’s reportedly been on display.

Various individuals were interviewed as part of an in-depth story on the inner workings of CBS News. As part of that, New York Magazine also spoke to people about the continued evolution of 60. The news outlet reported that Weiss faced struggles when trying to get in sync with the rhythm of the production. It was also alleged that a few segments nearly didn’t make it to air due to Weiss requesting last-minute changes. A former CBS News journalist with insight into the matter didn’t hold back when commenting on Weiss’ leadership:

After Paramount Skydance’s David Ellison named Weiss E-I-C in late 2025, a common argument against her hiring was her perceived lack of experience. Weiss worked as a print journalist and founded the Free Press media company (which has since been acquired by Paramount). Weiss notably had no formal experience working in broadcast journalism. Fired 60 Minutes correspondent Scott Pelley also critiqued Weiss’ management, saying CBS needs “adult supervision, and at the moment we don’t have it.”

Speaking of Pelley, he was let go from CBS News in early June after reportedly accusing Weiss of “murdering” 60 Minutes. His ousting from the company came shortly after several employees were let go on May 28. Now known as “Black Thursday,” that day saw Weiss part ways with several notable show employees, including correspondents Sharyn Alfonsi and Cecilia Vega. Executive producer Tanya Simon and executive editor Draggan Mihailovich were also part of the cuts. Since then, a crop of new talent has been hired.

In the weeks that followed, several ex-employees – including Pelley and Vega – accused Weiss of letting political partiality impact her editorial decisions. Last year, Weiss also drew backlash months ago for her last-minute decision to drop a 60 story on an El Salvador prison. Her story choices aside, insiders have also dropped claims about her interactions with employees, with some alleging that even her morning editorial meetings were heated at one point. Another source spoke to New York Magazine and shared this thought:

While it’s been alleged that some employees are pleased with Bari Weiss’ staff changes, reports also suggest that others are becoming “anxious” ahead of the new season. That anxiety is supposedly due to some being uncertain as to whether the show will be ready for air when Season 59 debuts on CBS on Sunday, September 13. That remains to be seen but, in the meantime, it’s clear that a lot of eyes remain on Weiss and what she may or may not do while on the job.

The investigation into Hayden Panettiere’s death continues two weeks after she was found unresponsive in a South Carolina apartment. Fans have mourned the passing of the 36-year-old actress, while her former co-stars like Connie Britton and Jenna Ortega have posted tributes. One of the most tragic aspects is how much Panetteiere still wanted to accomplish in life. In fact, she listed the items on her bucket list in an interview just a few months ago.

Hayden Panettiere’s memoir This Is Me: A Reckoning came out in May 2026, just three months before her tragic death. At a book signing following its release, a moderator pointed out how much Panettiere had accomplished already — blockbuster movies, hit TV shows, becoming a mom, writing a book, etc. It’s more than most people accomplish in a lifetime, they said. But Panettiere said in the clip posted by People that there was so much more she wanted to do:

Unfortunately she wasn’t able to see those dreams realized. Hayden Panettiere’s struggles with substance abuse, mental illness including postpartum depression, and the death of her brother Jansen Panettiere were well-known. The fact that one of her goals was to provide other actors with the safe space that she didn’t always have is simply heartbreaking.

That wasn’t the only time Hayden Panettiere spoke about the future in the final months of her life. She appeared on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast while doing promotion for her book, where she told the host she had “a lot more life to live.” She said:

Hayden Panettiere’s career began practically at birth, as she appeared in her first commercial at 11 months old. When she was 4, she landed a recurring role on One Life to Live and went on from there, voicing Dot in A Bug’s Life before appearing in Remember the Titans, Bring It On: All or Nothing, and Ice Princess with Michelle Trachtenberg, who died in 2025. She’s probably best known for her Scream movies, as well as the TV shows Heroes and Nashville.

Authorities who responded to a 911 phone call on August 16 pronounced Hayden Panettiere dead at the scene, after life-saving measures were unsuccessful. No foul play is suspected, but an official cause of death has not been released pending a toxicology report and other test results.

Hopefully the actress’ loved ones and fans will get some answers in coming weeks, but nothing can take away from the tragedy of Hayden Panettiere’s bucket list items that will remain unfinished.

Spoilers ahead for The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 3.

The Walking Dead was a wildly popular series during its original run on AMC, and it's still regularly re-watched by folks with a Netflix subscription. The franchise has stayed alive (pun intended) thanks to a series of spinoffs, including Dead City. That series recently turned for its third season on the network (and streaming with an AMC+ subscription), and the most recent episode saw Emily Kinney return as Beth for the first time in over a decade. And the actress recalled the emotional reaction she had to returning.

Beth's death in The Walking Dead Season 5 shocked fans at the time, who were disappointed to see her go so unceremoniously. But Kinney finally got to return as Beth in the latest episode of Dead City, where Maggie imagines what New York might be like if the zombie apocalypse never happened. While speaking with People about her long-awaited return to the franchise, she actress revealed her original reaction by saying:

Honestly, can you blame her? Emily Kinney was clear about how hard it was to end her tenure on TWD, which required her to move away from the friends and collaborators she'd worked with for years. She also spoke about the difficulty of watching The Walking Dead, so this is no doubt a full circle moment. Especially since it's been so long since Beth's death on the flagship series.

So what was it like returning with her onscreen sister Lauren Cohan all this time? Later in the interview she expressed how surprisingly easy it was to step back into Beth's shoes for this dream sequence. As she put it:

Despite how painful it was to be killed off of The Walking Dead, it sounds like the years away from the apocalyptic series helped her gain enough perspective that it was easy to slip back into character for Dead City Season 3. We'll just have to wait and see if she ends up having any other cameos as we get deeper into the current batch of episodes.

In this dream sequence from Episode 6 "Genesis", Maggie is shown meeting up with Beth at the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park. Kinney's character moved to New York City to pursue her musical dreams in this alternate universe, while Maggie stayed home at Hershel's farm. In the conversation with People, Kinney reacted to Beth's fate in this sequence, offering:

Beth was shown singing and playing guitar a number of times throughout her tenure on The Walking Dead, so having her being an aspiring musician in this alternate reality was a logical narrative choice. And it's one that the actress seems to put her approval behind.

The Walking Dead: Dead City airs new episodes Sundays on AMC as part of the 2026 TV schedule. We'll just have to wait and see how much this alternate universe factors into Season 3 as a whole.

Powering through the discomfort is a big part of making a deep run on Survivor. Especially during the early seasons, the show made a big effort to show how grueling it is to literally survive without any of the modern comforts. As fans, we’re very aware of the physical and emotional struggle the players are going through, but one thing we don’t often think about is the struggle of those left behind. It can be a challenge to deal with childcare and other practical concerns, and it turns out, it can be really awkward too.

Survivor castaways can obviously tell their spouses they’re going on the show, but they need to keep it a secret from most of the people in their lives. That’s especially true for celebrities who go on the show, like say Jeff Kent. The former professional baseball player was a memorable character on Philippines. He quite clearly loved the experience, but for his wife, it was a bit more of a struggle. She had to deal with the lack of communication, manage the kids by herself and hilariously, deal with all the people who thought he’d left her.

Kent was recently inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame and this past week, had his jersey retired by the San Francisco Giants. Most of the media asked questions about his baseball career, but one reporter for 95.7 The Game decided to ask about his time on Survivor, and he was clearly elated to talk about it. He praised longtime host Jeff Probst and everyone involved in the show. He took shots at his own social game and said he’s talked about going back a few times but hasn’t been able to make it work.

He also dropped this absolute gem about the awkwardness his wife went through…

I wonder how many spouses adhere to the NDAs and legitimately say nothing and how many wind up whispering to anyone who listens that their husband or wife is on Survivor? I would have to imagine there’s some variance because as we know in Hollywood, some people are really good at keeping secrets and some people cannot keep a secret, no matter how closely guarded it’s supposed to be. I would imagine producers are a lot more aggressive about keeping information off social media anyway.

I think the key is you need to have a good cover story you come up with your spouse ahead of time. Maybe you're traveling for work or you're having surgery or in his case, he could have been out scouting baseball players for a few months in a foreign country. You need to come up with something, but telling people your husband isn't home or you're not sure where he's at is, of course, going to lead people to believe he took off.

Secrecy or not, the family members left behind are definitely the unsung heroes. Their sacrifice allows everyone to play the game, which is why I love to see them get their moment when the show does the surprise visits from loved ones. It was a joy to see that return on Survivor 50, and I’d love to see it return regularly for the Open Era, which is about to officially launch when the show returns to the TV schedule later this month.

While the latest episode didn't fully resolve its twist, things are moving forward rather quickly in the Big Brother house. Drew Campbell won the Week 8 Head of Household competition, and with Yash Patel winning the veto and taking himself off the block, he's in a rough situation.

Drew must now either nominate Melody Morris or someone in The Crossovers alliance. He didn't want to tank his relationship with Melody any further, so Rick Devens volunteered to go up as the renomination choice. Unfortunately, there's been some tension in recent days, and it led to him making a threat to both Drew and Barrett Pfeiffer if they tried to target the icons.

The Icons Threatened To Poison The Jury If One Of Them Leaves This Week

Devens initially volunteered to go up on the block because he believed Angela Murray and Dee Valladares would go home if they were nominated instead, and he'd be safe due to his better relationships with other Houseguests. Even if that wasn't the case, he would, in theory, have the votes to stay provided Barrett voted with the alliance and protected him if he lost the BB Blockbuster.

After taking some time to think, Devens remembered that Dee sent home Mallory Aurichio and that Barrett may have an axe to grind against the Icons after that. He tried to take back going up, but Drew remained steadfast. Once all his tactics to get replaced didn't work, he relented. He said he'd go up, but made one thing clear to all members of The Crossovers (via @BBFeedsFairy on X):

He said it in jest in the moment, but continued to say it to Angela and Dee later on. All three committed to poisoning the jury against Drew and Barrett if they ended up betraying them, as a scare tactic to the two to stay loyal. I'm not sure it's going to work on either, especially since they can presumably still win a jury vote with all the other remaining Houseguests who would reward them for taking out Icons. Plus, Dee shouldn't support this idea, given she's someone who has made a game out of betraying her closest allies. I mean, doesn't she realize this would come back to bite her as well?

Drew Wants To Put Up Dee Over Devens

Drew didn't seem impacted by Devens threat, but he did have some late night talks with the camera questioning if putting him up was the right decision. After all, why should Devens need to go up during his HOH, when Dee was the one who has nominated him for eviction not once, but twice?

Drew added that not only has Dee not offered to go up as the renomination choice, but she's also barely spoken to him since he won HOH. That's pretty wild after the previous week they had, in which she directly accused him of being shady and trying to turn on them. If he and Barrett are going to try and flip on the Icons, then wouldn't it make more sense to send Dee out first?

I think that's a move someone who wants to win Big Brother will make, and to be clear, I do think Barrett and Drew are 100% planning to turn on the Icons. While those watching BB online may be confused when they see the pair talking about loyalty with the Icons, don't forget that this has been how they've played the game since the beginning.

If whichever Icon they put up wins Blockbuster, then Barrett and Drew can return to saying they've been nothing but loyal to The Crossovers and worthy of trust. There is no need to draw a line in the sand until it's clear the opportunity is there to send an icon out. Pay attention to what Drew and Barrett tell each other in private, and whether one tries to rat the other out.

If that doesn't happen, assume the Icons are in danger this week as Big Brother continues Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays on CBS. This could be a huge week for Drew and Barrett going forward, so I'm eager to see if they can pull it off.

The Big Bang Theory was a memorable experience for its cast, but that doesn't mean they enjoyed everything they had to film. Raj actor Kunal Nayyar recently pointed out how much he hated dressing as Aquaman, and the harness that made the whole outfit so much more miserable to wear.

The Big Bang Theory Podcast hosted Nayyar to talk about all things Raj, and showed a clip of him dressed as Aquaman in "The Justice League Recombination." After a quick reminder that the episode and other great episodes of TBBT were available with an HBO Max subscription, the actor talked about how wearing that costume was a terrible experience:

I can't help but laugh because actors complaining about superhero costumes is such a common thing. Superhero costumes are made to look awesome on-screen, but rocking all that skin-tight leather and mesh for hours at a time can be uncomfortable. Given that, it's all the more hilarious to me that Kunal Nayyar's Aquaman costume was meant to look like a silly cosplay, and even it wasn't comfortable enough for him to enjoy the experience.

The harness, which kept a seahorse strapped to his body, was the worst part of the experience. Specifically, it made going to the bathroom and sitting an issue, which the actor noted gets old really quickly several hours into the day:

I also can't help but notice the suit has padded muscles, which is ironic considering The Big Bang Theory asked the guys to keep their shirts on in the past because of how in-shape they were. Plus, I'm sure that padding also made the suit that much more cumbersome, which is never fun.

Raj's Aquaman costume was based on The Super Friends version of the character, as it was years before Jason Momoa's Aquaman would hit theaters. Momoa's portrayal has done a lot to help the character's street cred, as Nayyar noted after his story:

Now I'm just imagining an episode of Stuart Fails To Save The Universe in which we get to see Raj portray Jason Momoa's version of Aquaman, and look a whole lot cooler in the process. The trailer did feature Stuart taking on Batman villain Mr. Freeze, so maybe we could see that in a future episode.

For now, I'm just content seeing Kunal Nayyar appear as his character in the new spinoff. He's already had two appearances, both of which were memorable for different reasons. No spoilers for those who haven't seen it, but I will say it was more shocking than seeing him in an Aquaman uniform.

Catch Stuart Fails To Save The Universe and The Big Bang Theory on HBO Max. Kunal Nayyar is great in both, and anyone who has checked out one but not the other is doing themselves a disservice.

I’ve enjoyed the performances of quite a few Saturday Night Live cast members over the past several seasons, from breakout star Ashley Padilla to the long-serving Kenan Thompson. Someone else who deserves props for their work is James Austin Johnson, who’s become particularly famous for his impression of U.S. President Donald Trump. Considering how the imitation has taken off, Austin has now reached the point at which fans approach him in public, and I can’t get over what some of them say to him.

Austin is far from the first person to mimic Donald Trump on SNL, as the likes of Darrell Hammond and Alec Baldwin (who won an Emmy for his work on the show) have as well. I’d argue, however, that Austin’s portrayal has hit the cultural zeitgeist in an even stronger way. Anyone who needs evidence of that should listen to what Johnson shared during his recent appearance on the Downside Podcast (part of which was shared to TikTok). The comic specifically explained what it’s like meeting older fans who approach him near his home:

Honestly, a part of me can’t tell if he’s joking but, even if he’s overexaggerating, I just find this too funny. I can also easily see some older admirers coming up to the Tennessee native and sharing their takes on his depiction of POTUS. Such reactions fall in line with the praise Johnson has received for his take on Trump, which emphasizes the businessman-turned-reality TV star-turned-politician’s stream of consciousness. For an example of what Austin’s take looks like, check out this cold open from Season 51:

Despite Johnson’s humorous take on the attention, it’s fair to wonder if he’s afraid of Donald Trump. He previously answered that during an appearance at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year, Johnson asserted that he had “never been afraid of anything ever.” From the A Complete Unknown actor’s vantage point, he’s “doing a version of [Trump] that I feel is sustainable.” In his recent podcast interview, he also said he didn’t believe Trump supporters felt “targeted” by his comedy due to it not being aimed at them.

Johnson is a man of many talents, though, as he's made great contributions to a number of other sketches during his tenure at SNL, which began back in 2021. What’s ironic is that as great as Johnson is as Trump, he claims the show won’t let him do his best impression: Rolling Stone editor David Fricke. Austin has been trying to pitch it for a while, it seems, and I hope his efforts are eventually successful.

More immediately, I’m looking forward to seeing James Austin Johnson back on stage at Studio 8H, where he’ll once again don the suit, prosthetics and hair piece to play the Commander-in-Chief. There’s no telling what Johnson might be called upon to do as Trump in order to keep up with the ever-flowing political landscape. Whatever the case, though, I expect the actor will continue to field responses from fans and roll with them as they come.

Saturday Night Live Season 52 premieres on NBC on September 26 amid the 2026 TV schedule. In the meantime, warm up for Johnson’s reprisal of Trump by streaming past episodes with a Peacock subscription.

We're officially at wedding-episode time for 90 Day Fiancé Season 12, and while some couples already tied the knot by this latest installment, others are still in the process of building up to that life pinnacle. Once might have expected Mallorie DeGrange and Rasit Kebabci to be all smiles for reaching their rehearsal dinner, but the latter suffered quite the shocking emotional breakdown.

Rasit has kept his cool through most of the episodes that have aired so far, so it was shocking to see him sobbing once he met Mallorie's mother. Even Mallorie was concerned by her fiancé being so inconsolable, but I think there are signs that point to him why he became so overwhelmed with emotion.

Rasit Really Seems To Value Family

Based on all we've learned about Rasit so far, he really values family. He and Mallorie almost split ahead of the wedding, mainly because she wasn't sure whether she wanted to have children. Mallorie's reasoning was tied up in her own childhood and her mother leaving her father when she was young.

Rasit knew about this, and I think it's possible he was overwhelmed by seeing Mallorie's mother and them reuniting despite past issues. I'd back that up with how he reacted to the news that her father wouldn't be attending, after he told her he didn't support him being Muslim. Rasit wasn't offended by her father's beliefs, but stated he was offended that he couldn't put them aside to be there for his own daughter.

Rasit's Own Family Likely Won't Be At The Wedding

I think it's also possible that seeing Mallorie's mother reminded Rasit of his own mother back in Turkey. It doesn't seem any of his family made it to the wedding, unless 90 Day Fiancé is hiding that from viewers for a future episode. They already tricked us with last week's tease involving Mido Fayed, so I can't rule it out!

As we get closer to the wedding, I do have more questions about whether Mallorie and Rasit are still together. The latest speculation is that there are legal records that confirm they were married, but Rasit also randomly stated in a social media post that he didn't have a wife.

Maybe they're one of the many 90 Day couples who married and then split, but I'm not so sure. Right now, there's no clear consensus on the internet, but I'll be interested to find out after he didn't agree to a prenuptial agreement.
