The location that they’ve settled upon for their business is currently New Picture House Cinema, which was originally built in 1930. As noted by the news outlet, Timberlake and Woods recently received the go-ahead to convert the space. The bar is set to be an extension of the T-Squared Social, which already has a location in New York.

It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time that the athlete and the music man have teamed up for business purposes. As it stands, they’re both shareholders in the Nexus Luxury Collection real estate company. When it comes to their latest collaboration, they reportedly settled upon St. Andrews, in part, because of its connection to the game of golf. Said location is home to “The Old Course,” which was established in 1552. The “Mirrors” singer is a massive fan of the sport and was recently spotted walking to a lesson in New York. And, of course, the four-time PGA Champion is one of the greatest players to ever pick up a club.

When it comes to T-Squared Social in St. Andrews, the place will apparently be very similar to the New York location. The space is set to offer a variety of activities, including darts, golf simulators and duckpin bowling. And the icing on the cake is that the location’s movie roots won’t completely be done away with. It would seem that the two businessmen plan to maintain two screens from the cinema, which has been experiencing financial difficulties in recent years. All in all, this sounds like quite a venture, which could prove to be lucrative. 

What’s Going On With Justin Timberlake’s Legal Situation?

As he proceeds with his business plans, Justin Timberlake is still dealing with loose ends from his DWI situation. He was arrested in New York’s Sag Harbor after midnight on Tuesday, June 18. Timberlake was taken into custody after the same officer previously stopped him and advised him not to drive. At the time, the Trolls star – who’d met up with friends at the American Hotel that evening – stated that he’d only had one drink that night. That assertion was later echoed by the bartender who served him that night. Timberlake was ultimately charged with one DWI count. He’s currently set to appear in court virtually on July 26.

The Grammy winner seemingly acknowledged his situation during a concert at The United Center in Chicago. As noted by People, he thanked fans for having his back over the years, though he didn’t explicitly mention his arrest. He’s also received support from Jessica Biel, who attended a show in New York just recently. Per sources, Biel was “relieved” that no one was harmed in the situation but was “disappointed” that it happened at all. Regardless of that though, the fact that plans are now officially moving forward would seemingly signify a spot of good news for the singer following his arrest. We’ll have to wait and see how everything works out on that front, and the same is true when it comes to Timberlake’s upcoming court hearing.

As of last week, Tiger Woods is now part of a legal situation involving a former partner. His latest ex-girlfriend has taken issue with the golf legend over a purported non-disclosure agreement that she claims he made her sign. She’s now citing a sexual abuse-related statue in an attempt to nullify the agreement. She’s also aiming to sue him for tens of millions of dollars. Now, Woods has filed documents in which he fired back at the claims. 

What Exactly Is Erica Herman Arguing In Her Case Against Tiger Woods?

Erica Herman reportedly began dating the five-time Masters Tournament winner in 2017, before they broke up sometime in 2022. She claims that the star made her sign the supposed NDA in August 2017, according to TMZ. In the documents Herman filed, she claims that a private trust run by her former beau is attempting to prevent her from sharing details about their relationship. She’s specifically attempting to make her case with the help of the Speak Out Act. Effective as of December 2022, the law prevents the enforcement of NDAs when sexual harassment or assault is involved. 

Erica Herman – the former manager of her boyfriend’s restaurant, The Woods – is also suing the sports icon for $30 million. In the suit, she claimed that she performed “valuable services” for Tiger Woods on the condition that she was able to live in their Hobe Sound, Florida home rent free. While she says none of this was put in writing, Herman also states that she and her man had an “oral tenancy agreement.” Said deal supposedly was to be valid for up to five years after a theoretical split. On top of this, she also alleges that after Woods sent her on a “short vacation,” she returned to find that she’d been “locked out.”

TMZ further suggests that the plaintiff (who allegedly broke up with the hall of famer around October 2022) is anxious to give her account of events. Whether a judge decides to strike down the agreement and grant her wish remains to be seen. However, what seems evident at the moment is that her ex is not pleased with the legal moves she’s made thus far.

How Tiger Woods Reacted To His Former Girlfriend’s Legal Filing

Tiger Woods filed his own documents just recently and, in them, he referred to his former significant other as a “a jilted ex-girlfriend,” per TMZ. His contention is that the Speak Out Act cannot be invoked because he has not been accused of sexual assault in any of his ex’s formal legal documents. In order to make his point, he pointed to her multi-million dollar lawsuit, in which he says she checked “No” when asked if the case involves sexual abuse allegations. He also said this: 

All in all, the former EA Sports collaborator believes Erica Hernan is aiming to publicly litigate her claims in order to get past the requirements of the deal. With that, he wants a court in Florida to uphold the arbitration provisions set forth by the NDA and require Herman to abide by them. 

This is only one of several legal situations that Tiger Woods has found himself in over the past several years. In 2017, Woods was arrested on a DUI charge, after which his mugshot notoriously went viral. Woods eventually sought out professional help with managing his medications. Both he and Erica Herman also got into another legal situation in 2019 when they were served a wrongful death suit. Said lawsuit came from the parents of a bartender at The Woods, who was allegedly over served alcohol before leaving the establishment and getting into a fatal car crash. The case against Woods and Herman was eventually dropped.

As of this writing, Tiger Woods’ former girlfriend has not responded to his rebuttal. Chances are that all of the information that’s been shared by both sides so far will be analyzed by a judge sooner rather than later.

The world at large got quite a shock on February 23 when it was announced that Tiger Woods was involved in a serious car accident that required hospitalization. Woods' celebrity and past drama in the tabloids resulted in a lot of curiosity about what led to the incident, and now one CNN anchor has apologized for some remarks he made on air about Tiger Woods.

CNN's Andy Scholes was on-air to comment about the accident, and may have been a little too quick to speculate about the cause of Tiger Woods' car accident. Now the anchor has apologized online after some viewers reached out on social media thinking his comments were in bad taste.

Andy Scholes repeated his apology in replies to several other tweets, all of which were critical of the way the anchor handled the situation on CNN. Scholes is a sports reporter for CNN, so he was welcomed on for the news about Tiger Woods when the network covered the accident. Scholes was asked his opinion on the situation as viewers saw a live shot of the wreckage and gave the following comments on camera.

While details were not readily available at the time when Tiger Woods was first taken from the hospital, reports from the Los Angeles County Sheriff (via CNN) have stated that they do not anticipate any charges being filed and that they believe the whole incident was just an accident with no cause for suspicion. Although there is truth in what Andy Scholes said in regards to Tiger Woods' past issues with addiction, many felt it was irresponsible to suggest drugs were a factor in a car accident which has since been cleared of anything like that.

Suggesting Tiger Woods was again suffering from painkiller addiction as the pro golfer was in the hospital can certainly be seen as insensitive, especially from a news perspective presenting commentary that assumes past addiction played a factor. Woods is currently awake and responsive following surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center but has not publicly commented since the accident beyond a press release from his representatives.

Tiger Woods Was A Golfing Sensation At 2 Years Old

Most 2-year-olds are still mastering the art of walking, but a 2-year-old Tiger Woods already had a golf swing that, as a 30-year-old who has lost more than his share of golf balls, I’m a little jealous of. Woods showed this raw natural talent in 1978 on The Mike Douglas Show in front of a national audience and celebrities Bob Hope and Jimmy Stewart.

Woods’ talent for the game being evident from such a young age has been such an integral part of his legacy. However, his exposure at such a young age has also been criticized, particularly toward his late father Earl Woods. Expect more on that relationship in the doc.

Tiger Woods Bursts Onto The Scene With The 1997 Masters

Prior to 1997, Tiger Woods had already formatted a reputation as one of the greatest amateur players in golf history, winning multiple junior amateur titles, NCAA titles and the only player to win three consecutive U.S. Amateur titles. He also was the low amateur at the 1995 Masters Tournament. He would make a bigger splash at Augusta National just a couple years later.

During the 1997 Masters, less than a year after officially turning pro, Woods won the tournament by 12 strokes, at the time the largest margin of victory at one of golf’s four majors in the modern era. It was historic beyond the score, as Woods was the first Black golfer to win a major, and doing it at a tournament that did not have its first Black player participate until 1975; just one of the famous course's unfortunate (now-amended) discriminatory practices.

With Tiger’s exuberant cheer on the 18th green, he officially announced that his time had come.

The Tiger Slam

By 2000, Tiger Woods was already widely considered the best golfer on the planet. What he would do that year and into 2001 would cement him as one of the greatest of all time.

Woods earned his third major title at the 2000 U.S. Open, where he outdid his 1997 Masters performance with a margin of victory of 15 strokes, an all-time record. He then won the British Open at St. Andrews (the birthplace of golf), where he shot 19-under par. He let some drama happen in a memorable duel with Bob May at that year’s PGA Championship. As the calendar turned to 2001, he set his sights on The Masters. After winning at Augusta for the second time, he completed what has been dubbed the Tiger Slam, holding all four majors at the same time (though not in a single year).

Woods’ Chase of Jack Nicklaus’ Major Record

After winning the 2001 Masters, his sixth major, people began wondering if Tiger Woods would be able to break the record set by Jack Nicklaus for career majors, 18. For a good portion of Woods’ career, it looked more like a question of if, not when.

In 2008, at the age of 32, Woods won his 14th major at the U.S. Open, three years ahead of Nicklaus’ pace. However, things in Woods’ career got complicated after that (something I’ll briefly discuss below and the doc will definitely evaluate). He would not win another major tournament until the 2019 Masters, giving him 15.

Tiger Woods Is As Recognizable A Brand As Michael Jordan

Some athletes’ cultural impact goes beyond their sport. As 2020’s The Last Dance affirmed, one such athlete is Michael Jordan. Tiger Woods is another.

While obviously masters of different sports (despite Jordan’s affinity for golf), they both were depicted as driven and mentally tough competitors that always came through in the clutch. These personas gave them the respect of their peers and fans. But they both were also the two primary faces of Nike - and other brands - making them two of the most recognizable people in the world. Woods even had his own video game series.

According to a 2017 Forbes list of the highest paid athletes of all-time, Michael Jordan is first with $1.85 billion in career earnings. Woods is second with $1.7 billion.

Winning The 2008 U.S. Open On A Broken Leg

In the second half of his career, injuries have been a major concern for Tiger Woods, and it all began at the 2008 U.S. Open. What at first glance just looked like another classic Tiger Woods performance - making clutch putts and shots in a battle with Rocco Mediate that would be decided in an 18-hole playoff - was actually a warrior-like performance with Woods essentially playing on one leg.

Woods played the tournament after having knee surgery in the spring where it was revealed that he had torn his ACL. Then during the tournament he suffered two stress fractures in his tibia, which caused him often to bend over in pain after shots. It was an incredible performance (and they say golfers aren’t athletes), but it would be the start of his lingering problems with injuries.

Off The Course Issues

Tiger Woods’ life is, unfortunately, not just limited to the golf course. On Thanksgiving in 2009, Woods crashed his car into a fire hydrant near the driveway of his home. Then the bigger news started to unravel. Woods’ reported infidelity to his wife and their eventual divorce became a whole saga.

There would be more instances of weird behavior and troubling personal developments throughout the 2010s that are sure to be delved into during the documentary, but brief highlights (lowlights?) include his intrigue in Navy Seals training and an instance where he fell asleep in his parked car and was believed to be under the influence of painkillers.

Tiger 2.0

Tiger Woods is having a bit of a comeback after all that. In 2018, he won the Tour Championship, his first victory since 2013. As previously mentioned, he would also go on to win the 2019 Masters for his 15th major title. In all, he now has 82 career tournament wins, tied with Sam Snead for most ever.

Things off the course have appeared to stabilize as well personally and with his family. In fact, in December 2020, he played in the PNC Championship, a father-son tournament, with his 11-year-old son Charlie. Charlie Woods showed a game that reminded many of his dad’s.

Now that you have a strong primer on Tiger Woods, you can get a much more complete picture with Tiger when Part 1 airs on Sunday, Jan. 10, at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and HBO Max.

This week, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's office released the results of the toxicology report that followed Tiger Woods' May 29 arrest. Apparently, Woods had traces of five substances in his system when police arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) in Jupiter, Florida. According to the report, Woods had the following substances in his system:

Hydrocodone (i.e. Vicodin) and Hydromorphone (i.e. Dilaudid) are painkillers. Alprazolam (i.e. Xanax) and Zolpidem (i.e. Ambien) are mood pills for sleeping. THC is the main chemical compound in marijuana. These substances, including medical marijuana, can be legal in Florida.

Tiger Woods has a history of debilitating back pain and surgeries. Therefore, he might have had prescriptions for all of the medicines, but this aspect is unclear. But at the time of the arrest, Tiger Woods revealed that he had taken Vicodin, as he was still recovering from back surgery, and he mentioned having a prescription for Xanax.

On August 9, Woods pleaded not guilty to the DUI charge. The professional golf champion was supposed to have a hearing last week, but his attorneys worked out a standard arrangement with the Palm Beach County State Attorney's office. As TMZ tells it, Woods volunteered to enter a program for first-time DUI offenders. One condition of that program is that offenders plead guilty to reckless driving, a charge which they later can expunge.

Because of the last-minute development, the hearing got postponed by Chief Assistant State Attorney Adrienne Ellis and Tiger Woods' lawyer, Douglas Duncan. They agreed to work out the details of the plea agreement and return to court on October 25. At that time, Woods most likely will plead guilty to reckless driving, which is a misdemeanor charge. Then he will begin the state attorney's diversion program for first-time DUI offenders. He might also get 12 months of probation and community service time to complete.

Last month, Tiger Woods provided some details about his arrest in a statement he released through his representative. He explained,

This part of the statement corresponded with what Tiger Woods wrote earlier in the summer when he made a social media announcement to say he was "receiving professional help to manage" his medications and how he dealt with back pain. In the update, Woods continued by stating,

Tiger Woods has not revealed whether or not he formed an addiction to these medications, yet he received encouraging words from other athletes, such as golfer John Daly, who urged Woods to reach out if he needed support. Overall, it sounds as if Woods is going to receive plenty of help over the next year.

This year has been a difficult one for Tiger Woods. The 41-year-old golf legend has been recovering from surgeries and is facing legal troubles after police arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI). Now Woods has posted a statement to update fans and followers nearly a month after that incident. Apparently, he has sought "professional help" to assist him with his medications in the wake of the arrest. Woods wrote,

It was heartening to see the professional golfer thank not only the fans but also his golf colleagues for supporting him during the difficult time. Since news of Woods' arrest, many fans and friends have sent encouraging messages to the golf star, wished him well in his recovery from back surgery, and expressed hopes to see him return to professional golf. In fact, Tiger Woods' post received mostly positive comments when he shared it on Twitter.

However, it might be a long time before Tiger Woods returns to the sport that made him famous. In winter, back problems forced Woods to quit the Dubai Desert Classic and cut short a brief career comeback after an injury-related absence of 15 months. Then Woods underwent a series of surgeries. In fact, he has had four since April.

In May, Woods landed in legal trouble when police arrested him in Jupiter, Florida on suspicion of DUI. The 14-time major championship winner later took to social media to clarify he had not been drinking before the arrest; rather, he had taken his prescription pain medication earlier in the day.

The news of the arrest resembles troubles Tiger Woods faced in 2009 when police arrested him for reckless driving after he drove his car into a tree while he had the sleep aid Ambien in his system. That incident sparked rumors about marital problems with his Elin Nordegren, Woods' wife at the time. Eventually, Woods admitted to and apologized for having had extramarital affairs.

Many sponsors dropped Woods after that incident. However, he worked hard to get back in the good graces of his fans, and last year he seemed poised for a comeback; that is, until the back problems started up again and prevented him from returning to his glory days.

The last time Woods won a tournament was in 2013, and as for the Majors, he has not had a win since 2008. It would be great to see him make a full recovery and move forward in a positive direction, whether or not that direction includes a career comeback. Hopefully, Woods can get out of the tabloids and get back on track with help.

Now John Daly, Woods's past competitor on the golf course, recently fielded a reporter's question about the matter and shared encouraging words for his former contender. First, to keep Woods out of similar situations in the future, 51-year-old Daly suggested,

Sure, John Daly's words could, perhaps, carry the slightest hint of criticism. However, Daly evidently did not want it to seem like he was chiding his colleague. In fact, he clarified that Tiger Woods's latest misstep does not have to spell tragedy for Woods's future in sports. He continued, saying,

Initial reports indicated Tiger Woods had gotten a DUI, but later it was revealed the 41-year-old professional golf legend released had to do with pills he was taking after back surgeries not booze, and Woods expressly wrote that what happened had nothing to do with alcohol. Regardless, the story seemed to correspond with troubling reports about Woods's behavior from years ago, when he was arrested for reckless driving after he crashed his car and police discovered he had taken Ambien before driving.

So, the points John Daly made in the conversation with TMZ Sports could carry extra meaning, as Daly previously battled addictive behaviors--specifically alcohol abuse--and also shared the golf course with Tiger Woods for years. Daly never received a DUI, but he did reportedly experience moments of despair back when he was in the depths of active addiction. In fact, former Dallas Cowboys football player Thomas Henderson, who has worked in the drug and alcohol recovery field for the past three decades, reportedly helped Daly bounce back from a dark moment in the 1990s. (Daly supposedly stopped drinking for several years but did eventually admit he had decided to have occasional alcoholic beverages in moderation.)

In a different interview, John Daly suggested the world should ease up on Tiger Woods and recognize he is but a person. Daly reportedly has tried to reach out to Woods. (In fact, Thomas Henderson tried to contact Woods, too, and after the DUI report, Henderson tweeted about his desire to share his "experience, strength and hope" with Woods.) Allegedly, Daly has not heard back from Woods, but he indicated that he still wants Woods to know how much everybody cares for him, loves him, and wants him to succeed. Here's hoping Woods takes the positive encouragement to heart.

It's never pretty when a celebrity of any sort gets in trouble with the law. Golf legend Tiger Woods has been making headlines over the past couple of days due to his reported arrest for a DUI. While we haven't heard much about a court case that could cause trouble for Woods and his attorneys, we did get a look at his mug shot. Apparently, the mug shot was a bit too unkempt for somebody behind the scenes at SportsCenter on ESPN, because it certainly looks like the mug shot was Photoshopped to make Tiger Woods a little more presentable. Check it out!

In the mugshot following Tiger Woods' arrest for allegedly driving under the influence, his hair is mussed up as he stands against a pale green background. In the photo used by SportsCenter, Woods' hair isn't messy at all and he stands against a lighter background. Going by visuals alone, it definitely looks like somebody at SportsCenter decided to clean up the photo a little bit before broadcasting. Whether this was because a cleaner photo is more aesthetically appealing or because SportsCenter wanted to give the professional athlete a bit of a break, it's pretty clear thanks to the side-by-side pics in the tweet that something changed in the photo.

To give the folks at SportsCenter the benefit of the doubt, it's possible that Photoshop wasn't used to deliberately tidy Tiger Woods' hair and make him look better. If somebody simply cropped Woods out of the mugshot with the green background for the sake of moving him onto the lighter background, perhaps some of his hair was cropped off. We can't say for sure why the backgrounds had to be changed, although the alteration could have merely happened because the green clashed with something else on the SportsCenter screen. Who knows? Maybe a graphic design intern got a little overexcited and decided to get a little bit creative in preparing the picture for air.

That said, it's much funnier to imagine that somebody just decided that they couldn't let Tiger Woods' mugshot make it to air without fixing his hair to look more presentable. We may never know for sure. All we can say at this point is that the mugshot was taken early in the morning on Monday, May 29 when Woods was arrested on suspicion of DUI. He was released on his own recognizance after a few hours in jail. If we hear much more about the case, I hope SportsCenter really embraces all that Photoshop has to offer. Just think of all the other backgrounds they could go for!

Tiger Woods is in the headlines again but not for positive news stories fans had hoped to hear about this year. The police reportedly arrested the 41-year-old professional golf legend on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) on Monday, May 29. The arrest occurred in Jupiter, Florida, in the early morning. This news is disappointing for Tiger Woods' fans. Many had anticipated the golf star to make a career comeback sometime soon. Now it seems those plans may be on hold a while longer.

Reportedly, the specifics of the police record regarding Tiger Woods' arrest say the golf professional had an illegal blood alcohol level for driving. Nevertheless, Woods was free to leave jail a few hours after the officers booked him, so says CNN. There was no bail, and Woods left of his "own recognizance," which means he signed papers to say he would cooperate with future court proceedings.

Tiger Woods has not won a tournament since 2013. Lately he has been out of commission due to back problems. He made a brief comeback in December of 2016, but he had to stop again when recurring back problems resurfaced.

Earlier this year, Tiger Woods underwent a back surgery that his doctors called a success. Then on May 24, Woods blogged about his hopes for making a comeback. He indicated the outlook for a return seemed bright, and although Woods expressed how sure he felt in his desire to play golf again, he said he was not in a rush to get going until his recovery is complete. Furthermore, Woods explained he is still unable to bend or twist due to his back.

So now the outlook for Tiger Woods' comeback might not be so bright after all. Unfortunately, the news about the DUI charge aligns more with troubling headlines from several years ago. For example, in 2009, police arrested Woods for reckless driving after he drove his car into a tree while under the influence of the sleep aid Ambien. He was not charged with a DUI back then, but the incident did launch speculation about problems in his marriage to Elin Nordegren. Reportedly Woods and Nordegren, his wife at the time, had been arguing before the crash.

Around that time, reports surfaced Tiger Woods had been having an extramarital affair. Woods made a public apology for the affair and admitted he had sought therapy. Nevertheless, Woods lost many sponsors, and soon he and Elin Nordegren were divorced. It took Woods a long time to win back some of the public adoration he lost during that era.

Neither Tiger Woods nor the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) have commented on the story as of yet. Hopefully Woods can find the support he needs to get back on the right track.

Not everyone is cut out to be a tournament-tier player for games like Call of Duty. The twitch-reflexes required to be a master is not an easy thing to learn, and pro-golfer Tiger Woods learned that first hand when he tried dedicating time to playing the game.

In an interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Woods explained that he tried his hand at getting really good at Call of Duty in an attempt to go pro, but he met some unlikely resistance in the form of kids, saying...

The question came after Stephen Colbert asked Tiger Woods about his time off from professional golf. Woods had two back surgeries and was kind of stuck in his home for a while. During that time, however, Woods admitted that he couldn't stop competing even if it wasn't in golf.

Woods explains that he applied all of his intensity, all of his craft, all of his skills to Activision's Call of Duty. He was intent on becoming a master. Besides, it's still a game, right? Wrong.

According to Tiger Woods, it was a humbling experience because the time, dedication, and effort put into Call of Duty was not reciprocated when he went online. Most people will tell you that, though. The campaign mode is just a teaser, a small appetizer for the game's main course: online play.

One thing most people say about Call of Duty is that the campaign mode makes you feel like an out-and-out badass, but once you get online all of that changes due to the nature of competitive play against other people.

Matchmaking is designed to help hone your skills against others more akin to your level, but it's not always an accurate thing. The other problem is that there's still a team-based element to it. The developers try to ease you into the team-play through the campaign mode -- each of the Call of Duty campaigns feature squad mates that will accompany you from nearly start to finish. They will instruct you on how to breach doors, how to set charges, how to flank, suppress and when to charge. You can basically think of the entire campaign mode as one big, Hollywood set-piece that works as a tutorial for the multiplayer.

But even then, the campaign mode still can't prep you for the horrors of online play. You can check out the entire segment of Woods on Colbert below.

The latest Call of Duty is Infinite Warfare, and the game is due for release in a few short weeks starting on November 4th for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

For the first time in 20 years Tiger Woods will not be competing in the Masters Golf Tournament. The living legend recently underwent back surgery and after much speculation, withdrew himself from one of the biggest golf events of the year. It’s been no secret that Woods' success has dwindled over the years, and now, more and more analysts have started to wonder if they are witnessing the beginning of the end for a man that revolutionized golf as a sport.

Granted this was not a lighthearted decision for Tiger. In a heartfelt tweet Woods apologized to fans, who likely purchased tickets in advance specifically to see him.

Despite the initial reaction of the Twitterverse in believing it was an April Fool's Day prank, more statements rolled out confirming the fears of the golf community. Woods spoke at length in a prepared statement about his condition, which was picked up by ESPN.

On Monday, Woods underwent a Microdiscectomy, and at the advisement of his Doctor, was instructed not to participate in the Masters in order to achieve a full recovery. Surgery is always scary for an athlete, especially someone like Tiger who still has many records he wishes to beat. Woods still needs to win 5 majors to beat Jack Nicklaus' career record, and 9 PGA tour titles to top Sam Snead's record. Luckily for Tiger, it appears that the outlook for his recovery is positive. A recent survey of 80 athletes who underwent the same surgery of Woods stated that 90% of them were able to resume play and return to their prior level of sport.

With a four and a half month recovery time, it is very likely Woods will not only miss The Masters, but also be unable to participate in the US Open in June. Ratings are expected to be lower with Tiger’s absence, but PGA officials are just wishing Woods well in his recovery.

At 38, even with a long history of injury, he should have another 15-20 years of high level golf left in him. That should offer plenty of time for him to achieve his records, even if he misses the occasional Masters along the way.

Many of Tiger Woods’ most intimate secrets may have begun going public the moment he ran into that fire hydrant, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t have to talk about the elephant in the room with new girlfriend Lindsey Vonn. From his complicated relationship with ex-wife Elin Nordegren to his numerous mistresses, the golfer apparently decided to put it all on the table with the Olympian, and by all accounts, she’s fine with his past and ready to move forward as a couple.

The happy couple haven’t decided to move in together, which is probably a smart move, but a source close to the pair told US Weekly they’re really into each other right now, even after all the dirt that was voluntarily shared. Given their extremely busy schedules and the amount of traveling that goes into being a high level athlete, they’ll likely spend plenty of time apart over the next few months, but hopefully, the weeks they do get to spend together will bring them closer together and push them toward a real commitment.

With parental responsibilities in play, it’s extremely important these two are fully on board if they do make a real commitment. Hopefully, if all goes according to plan, all the baggage and the years of drama both experienced will put them in better positions to understand each other and find happiness and what their exs do will no longer be bothersome.

Since that fateful night more than three years ago when Tiger Woods ran his car into a fire hydrant and may or may not have been attacked with a golf club by his significant other, both the professional athlete and his now ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, have been the subject of numerous personal life rumors. From reconciling to dating people as odd as hockey player Douglas Murray in her case and skier Lindsey Vonn in his case, the whispers have not stopped. In fact, they kicked into overdrive this week thanks to the latest out of left field rumor.

According to The New York Post, Nordegren is dating Chris Cline, as in fifty-three-year-old coal mining billionaire Chris Cline. The father of four, whose first wife died of cancer and second wife is no longer in the picture, is Elin’s neighbor, and if the Post is to be believed, they’ve been spending time together since the holidays. Obviously, neither has said a word about the alleged romance, but given the location proximity and the resources at their disposal, it certainly sounds believable enough.

At one point, laughing about Tiger’s personal life felt a little sad. The wheels had come off his golf game, and he was clearly an absolute mess. With a win last week and rumblings that he could be a serious factor in the majors this year, however, the world seems to be returning back to normal. Here’s to hoping both Elin and Tiger are able to find happiness, whether it’s ultimately together or separately.

While Woods is easily the most recognizable golfer in the world, the fact is that he's not playing too great. He just fell out of Top 50 in world rankings, the first time that's happened to him in a decade and a half. It seems like as good of a time as any to bring in another golfer to share the spotlight.

EA also announced a few details about the game itself today. The Xbox 360 version of Tiger Woods 13 will support Kinect's motion tracking and voice commands. A Collector's Edition of the game will ship with five additional courses, Augusta National's world-class Tournament Practice Facility and other extras.

When EA said they would back Tiger Woods, they really meant it. It seems they've started work on the new console installments of Tiger Woods PGA Tour.

The LinkedIn profile of EA Tiburon's Keith Harmon notes that he's currently serving as Senior Character Artist/Art Outsourcing Lead on "Tiger Woods 11 (XBox 360, PS3 and Wii)," among other games. He assumed this role in December 2009, the same month that all those women starting telling tales about Tiger. The game is mentioned in a Software Engineer's profile as well.

PGA Tour Online, a browser-based golfing game, is now in beta. Given this new evidence, it looks like Tour Online will be complementing, rather than replacing, the standard PGA Tour games.

While some of Tiger Woods' sponsors have recently abandoned him, EA Sports is sticking by their man. EA Sports president Peter Moore explained their rationale for doing so today.

"Our relationship with Tiger has always been rooted in golf. We didn’t form a relationship with him so that he could act as an arm’s length endorser," Moore wrote in an EA Sports blog post. "Far from it. We chose to partner with Tiger in 1997 because we saw him as the world’s best, most talented and exciting golfer. We struck that partnership with the assumption that he would remain near or at the top of his sport for years to come."

"By his own admission, he’s made some mistakes off the course. But regardless of what’s happening in his personal life, and regardless of his decision to take a personal leave from the sport, Tiger Woods is still one of the greatest athletes in history."

With that in mind, EA intends to begin the open beta of Tiger Woods PGA TOUR Online later this month. PGA Tour Online is a free browser-based golf game that's been in closed beta for eight months. You make a virtual golfer and earn skill upgrades and gear through gameplay.
