While Jason and Kylie Kelce shared their thoughts on the newlyweds’ momentous event, we’ve gone almost a month and a half without word from Swift and Travis. That all changed, though, when the football player was asked about his wedding and finally publicly called the pop star his “wife.”

As Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs prepare for the NFL season to kick off on the 2026 TV schedule, he was asked what it meant to get married in Madison Square Garden during the team’s August 12 press conference. The tight end began his remarks by saying:

Yes, you read that right: he referred to Taylor Swift as his “wife,” his “wife,” people! That’s very exciting and historic, because up to this point, he had not commented publicly on his wedding. Plenty of guests have spoken about their secretive invitations and the “intimate” ceremony; heck, even Travis’ coach Andy Reid commented on Adam Sandler officiating. However, I’d been waiting for this inevitable moment to happen.

I love that his comments began with him stating that Swift got to go to an NBA Finals game at Madison Square Garden, and he didn’t. I also love that that’s how the word “wife” came into the conversation.

Then, to make this even better, Travis Kelce opened up about what it meant to tie the knot in such a historic venue, saying:

Of all the details I guessed Travis Kelce could talk about when it came to his wedding, the air conditioning was not one of them. However, I love that of all the things he could have mentioned, that was it. New York City was notably in the midst of a disgusting heatwave the weekend of the Fourth of July, and with 1,000 well-dressed guests in MSG for Swift and Travis’ nuptials on July 3, they for sure needed to have good AC.

Along with these comments, Travis also called the wedding the “best night of [his] life.”

Well, this is all just so sweet. Honestly, I feel like it’s the perfect way for the public to hear him call Taylor Swift his wife for the first time. Now, I hope he dishes out more details about the wedding soon.

Considering Taylor Swift did go on his podcast, New Heights, to announce her most recent album, The Life of a Showgirl, and both Travis and Jason Kelce have never really shied away from talking about their lives outside of sports, I feel like we could get more info about this night in MSG.

However, we’ll just have to wait and see if that happens. For now, I’m beaming over the fact that Travis Kelce has officially called Taylor Swift his wife publicly.

Add to that the staggered entrances of 1,000 guests being driven to Madison Square Garden and rules they had to follow, like no gifts or cell phones, and I think Charles Barkley probably has an accurate understanding of what went down. Even veteran NYPD cops had never seen anything like it.

It wasn’t just Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce who Charles Barkley said “no” to, however. His no-weddings rule goes for everybody, because he wants the bride to have “all the shine” on her big day. I can see Barkley’s presence causing a ruckus at a regular wedding, but he probably wouldn’t have needed to worry about that at the Kelce-Swift nuptials, considering you had people like Brad Pitt milling around alongside Kelce’s high school teachers.

Charles Barkley said a wedding day belongs to the bride, and if his presence is what’s going to make or break the event for her, he said — in true Barkley fashion — she needs to get a life. I’m sure Taylor Swift took the rejection in stride, because you can’t expect anything less than the honest truth from Barkley.

From country musicians and actors to business people and football stars, the guest list was diverse and star-studded. Now, the San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has opened up about interacting with all these famous folks, and revealed that his mom was the real MVP when it came to these convos.

Considering how tight George Kittle and Travis Kelce are, it’s not a surprise that he snagged an invite to his fellow tight end’s wedding. George revealed that at the wedding, he learned that lots of guests were fans of the Niners, and I feel like his mom’s introduction had a lot to do with that. Overall, I love the confidence and pride from Jan Krieger, and I adore how it got her son and husband, Bruce Kittle, talking with the famous people at Swift and Kelce’s wedding.

For example, George explained that he met Brad Pitt through one of his mom’s introductions. And what happened after was a lovely conversation, as the football player recalled:

So, not only did Pitt chat with Jason Kelce, but he was also talking with the Kittle family as he made the rounds at the Tayvis wedding, and I love to hear it.

However, let’s get back to the real star of the show here, George Kittle’s mom, Jan. According to the football player, she secured an invite alongside his mother-in-law because they “hung out” with Taylor Swift at Tight End University – a program that was founded by George, Travis and Greg Olsen and that Swift has done surprise performances at for the last two years.

Well, if Jan has the confidence to walk up and casually chat with Taylor Swift at an event, it makes perfect sense to me that she was doing that with celebrities at the singer’s wedding. It’s also got me wondering if she’s the reason George and his dad were able to meet Tom Cruise, as the 49er recalled:

Talk about worlds colliding at this wedding. One second the Kittles were talking to Tom Cruise, the next was Brad Pitt, and according to George, he and his mom got to know a ton of cool celebrities while Swift and Travis busted a move on the dance floor.

Now, I’d love to hear some stories about these interactions from the people Jan Krieger approached. It sounds like she was fearless (pun intended) when it came to introducing herself and her son to them, and it seems like delightful conversations followed. So, yes, I do fully believe that George Kittle’s mom was the MVP of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.

You can’t believe everything the “weirdos” are saying about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, but Jason Kelce is one trusted source who’s been sharing some details from July 3 inside Madison Square Garden. It sounds like it was a pretty wild night, as Travis’ best man described the “giant party” that went down following the emotional vow exchange. Of course Jason Kelce would have strong feelings about seeing Travis marry the woman who called him the “human exclamation point.” And yes, we know that the former Philadelphia Eagle isn’t shy about shedding a few tears (remember his Taylor Swift lyric-filled retirement speech?). However, he might have wanted to make sure he didn’t give indications that Travis and Taylor’s vows were more special than the ones he exchanged with Kylie Kelce eight years earlier.

Look, we know Kylie Kelce is “not gonna lie,” either, when she’s upset about something. Just take her reaction to people asking for tea about her brother-in-law’s wedding in the weeks ahead of July 3. So if Jason thinks Kylie is “not happy,” she probably has already told him as much.

On the other hand, I think it’s more likely that Kylie Kelce also got caught up in the emotions of the day (maybe not shedding as many tears as her husband though). Since then she’s even made rare comments about Taylor Swift to say the ceremony only made things official, because the “Opalite” singer has been family for quite a while now. Kylie said the wedding was “intimate and incredible and full of love.”

That’s one thing that Jason and Kylie Kelce definitely agree on, as the retired NFL star said his brother’s wedding was “more than 10 out of 10.” He described Adam Sandler as the “perfect” officiant and said his favorite part was seeing so many different people in one place — from Brad Pitt to “Mrs. Clark” from Jason and Travis’ high school.

There’s no doubt Travis Kelce’s wedding was on a different level than Jason Kelce’s (and probably every other non-royal human), so I highly doubt Kylie is actually going to hold any grudges against her husband for having an emotional reaction. But, just in case, Jason, flowers never hurt.

However, according to a couple of the guests who were there, we can’t believe everything we hear. Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson opened up a little about their experience, as well as the “weirdos” spreading false rumors.

The evening of July 3 inside MSG has been described as “intimate” and “powerful,” as Travis Kelce apparently had 300-pound football players crying over his emotional vows. Sportscasters Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson opened up about their own experiences at the celebrity wedding of the year, and the word they both used was “magical.” However, they were disheartened to see some of the rumors circulating in the aftermath. On their Calm Down podcast, Andrews said:

Unfortunately, there are going to be people who want to insert themselves into Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s big day at any cost, so unless it’s Jason Kelce talking about his favorite moments or a confirmed guest like Saturday Night Live’s Marcello Hernández relaying how he ran into Tom Cruise, all rumors should be taken with a grain of salt.

For example, there were conflicting reports about the food service in the days after the nuptials, with some sources saying it was "a bit of a s--- show," with long buffet lines and not enough seating. Others, however, said everything went perfectly, with plenty of food stations to satisfy everyone’s tastes.

It’s understandable that Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson would want to clear the air regarding any negativity surrounding their friends. The sports broadcasters have been vocal about their love of Taylor Swift, telling Travis Kelce when they visited his New Heights podcast that “Taylor’s impact cannot be overlooked” in terms of getting more girls into sports.

Thompson and Andrews actually take credit for Taylor and Travis’ relationship, which started back in 2023. After the Chiefs tight end called Swift out for not meeting him after a show at Arrowhead Stadium, the Calm Down hosts started advocating hard for the “You Need to Calm Down” singer to give Kelce a chance.

Of course, they’re not the only ones who think they’ve had a hand in this great love story: SNL’s Please Don’t Destroy may have played a role, as they recalled Taylor Swift realizing how funny Travis Kelce is after seeing his sketch with the comedy trio. Then, Swift’s docuseries The End of an Era seems to show her mom Andrea Swift being the one to play matchmaker.

There certainly appeared to be a lot of stars aligning for these two to get together, and now that they are officially one month into marriage, we can all bask in their happiness and groovy dance moves. Just don’t believe everything you hear about the wedding.

Kelce has been the tight end of the Chiefs for 13 years, and for a while there was a lot of uncertainty whether or not he would return for this upcoming football season. Ultimately, though, he signed a new contract with the organization he won three Super Bowls for. While Kelce may be considered old in some sports talk circles, Reid's comments helped dispel that notion, and this funny clip of Kelce "grooving" as shared by KCTV5 on Instagram, also adds fuel to the notion that he's still pumped to be on the field:

I mean, should we be surprised that Kelce busted out a quick dance move while waiting on the field? After all, this is a guy who celebrates a victory with a little jig here and there. I love to see the 36-year-old football veteran out there enjoying himself, and it's clear that his coach is pleased with him as well.

As for Reid, he was obviously making a tongue and cheek reference to his attendance to the Kelce and Swift wedding. It’s hard not to talk about considering it was so widely publicized and was such a star-studded event. However, it’s also great to hear from Reid that Kelce looks great on the field at training camp. Football becomes more and more dangerous as a player ages, and the fact that Kelce was in great shape can bode well for how he matches up with the younger players entering the NFL.

I personally can’t wait to see Kelce hit the field this year. He is one of the best tight ends in the league and has even more of an opportunity this year to defend his legacy coached by one of the best to ever do it. While Kelce signed a three-year extension earlier this year, it's still hard not to wonder whether he could decide to hang it up after this year. If he does, I hope he goes out on top.

Also, I'd imagine Swifties are excited about possibly seeing Swift in the crowd amid games, rocking a stunning outfit and cheering as loud as she possibly can for her new husband. It feels like a sweet continuation of the remarkable year both of these megastars have had. Here's to continued love between the couple and more dance celebrations for Kelce on the field.

I would have certainly loved to see some photos from the wedding of this. However, I can picture Conan O’Brien towering over a lot of the guests and standing tall with the football players in attendance. While it can be safely assumed that Travis Kelce, a professional athlete, was training and staying in shape during the off-season, I’m sure his wedding was helpful in that mission too. However, it’s also totally normal for people getting married to think about getting in shape before their wedding. Of course, Kelce was already in great shape. Then, the dancing was an added bonus that could have helped him out as the NFL season gets closer to kickoff on the 2026 TV schedule.

Now, I actually do hope all that dancing has had a positive impact on Kelce as the football season kicks into high gear. While I don’t actually know if that’s the case, I do know it really didn’t take Travis Kelce long to get back to work. He and Taylor Swift got married about a month ago, attended a friend’s wedding a week later, and now he’s back in his jersey and pads. Now, hopefully, when his team starts playing games, we’ll get to see some of the moves he busted on the dance floor of his wedding in the end zone.

Nettles shared how beautiful it was to be part of Swift and Kelce’s special moment, and I'd assume that witnessing something like that would make the complicated invitations worth it:

Even though the invites were a bit exhausting and guests may have had to keep one of the most eventful weekends of the year free under the assumption that they'd be attending this wedding, it all sounds like it was very worth it.

In the end, it seems like Swift and Kelce managed to create a fairly private yet high-profile event that was well worth all the secrecy and waiting. Personally, I know that if I were going to get an invite, I'd happily hold any weekend (including the Fourth of July) open to attend what could quite possibly be the wedding of the year. It seems like their guests were in that boat too, as they all jumped through quite a few hoops to wind up in New York City during the holiday weekend.

The "Willow" singer has spent her career writing about love in such beautiful and complex ways, finding something new to mine with every romance and every heartbreak she’s experienced. I’d like to think her promises to her now-forever person were absolutely beautiful and the perfect conclusion to a chapter of her life and the beginning of a new one. The fact that Kelce, and everyone else was just as emotional makes it more special, and it all sounds like a perfect day.

Per reports, it would also seem this matrimonial commitment to each other is iron clad. Kelce and Swift have both been through a lot romantically and reportedly want to make sure they don’t drift apart, despite both of their demanding lives and schedules.

Ironically, the Kelce/Swift relationship started during the busiest time in Swift’s life, The Eras Tour, and amid Kelce’s football season. If they were able to make it work during that crazy time, I think they can get through anything. They're seemingly very in love, according to people at this wedding, and they now have a lifetime to reaffirm these vows as a married couple.

Kylie Kelce has made it clear that she hated being asked about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding; she also hates clickbait, and she’s really not one to say much about her in-laws’ relationship. So, after someone tried to say she was commenting on their wedding, she called them out on her podcast. However, right after that, she also shared her actual thoughts on the pop star and tight end’s ceremony at Madison Square Garden. Considering how little she tends to say about this topic, this statement is extra special.

This statement came after Kylie Kelce called someone out on Not Gonna Lie for recording a conversation she was having with a couple of people about Swift and Travis. She had told them to give her in-laws some time to post photos of the wedding because they’re “in the honeymoon time.” It was then reported that she was commenting on the wedding, but she made it clear she wasn’t. She was saying to give the couple some time to themselves. After clearing the air on all that, she did officially comment on what happened on July 3, saying:

Well, that's just the sweetest comment ever, and it means even more knowing that Kylie only says things about this couple every once in a while.

Of course, we don't have a ton of specific details about the day, and I doubt Kylie Kelce will be divulging them. To prove that point, she went on to say that if people want any more info about what feels like the wedding of the year, they should go directly to the source:

Kylie is not the first person to call the massive wedding “intimate.” Good Morning America’s George Stephanopoulos described it with that word too. So, I’m guessing it really must be true that the couple transformed the space known for massive sporting events and concerts into a magical wedding venue.

At the time of this writing, neither Swift nor Travis Kelce has officially commented on their big day. They did attend Juju Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk’s wedding the week after their own, and official photos from that did give us a good look at Swift’s wedding ring. Plus, we’ve gotten images of their “So it’s gonna be forever” wedding favors and outfit photos from their guests. We’ve also heard plenty of stories about Adam Sandler officiating and the digital invitations that multiple guests thought were scams.

Currently, Travis and Jason Kelce’s podcast is on a hiatus (which happens every summer), so they haven’t spoken about the wedding on New Heights. However, I have to wonder if they will when it returns. Considering they’ve never really shied away from massive stories about their personal lives, I’d guess they’ll say something about the wedding. Although I’d also assume they’ll keep a lot of the details to themselves, because while Swift and Travis aren’t shy about their relationship, they also are quite private.

So, while we don’t know if the newlyweds will post or say anything about their wedding, we do know that Kylie Kelce will likely not say anything else about it. As she said, “any of the details [her in-laws] want to share, they can share.” However, I do appreciate what she did say about all of this, because it’s rare for her to do something like that.

Rumors have been swirling around the Tayvis wedding for months, as speculation continued about when and where it would take place. It’s basically the American version of a royal wedding, so, not surprisingly, the duo took extra care in making sure invitations remained secretive, even though the location itself eventually made headlines.

Speaking about the invitation process, American Century Investments CEO Jonathan Thomas shared on The Compound & Friends podcast that he initially got a text message invite from Swift and Kelce earlier this year. However, he deleted it because all it said was, “This is from Taylor and Travis. I promise it’s not spam.” Kelce ended up having to call Thomas months later after not hearing a response, and the tight end explained that they wanted to go digital with the invitation since they never know where their guests are going to be. That’s when the invite went from simple to intense quickly:

Thomas is far from the only one who didn’t believe the Tayvis wedding invitation at first because it seemed like spam. However, the text invite makes sense given everyone’s jobs and schedules. Plus, it is more secure this way and helps avoid leaks. But going through authentication and NDAs before receiving the actual invitation that provides the details is a lot.

Again, it makes sense; it’s the wedding of the year. However, it just sounds like a whole lot of work, especially considering all the security surrounding the invite.

It's been weeks now, and we still haven’t gotten any formal wedding pictures of the bride and groom or real images from inside MSG, so clearly the security surrounding the event was effective.

Said security gets more intense too. Along with the watermarked invites, Swift and Kelce didn't reveal all the details about their wedding at once. In fact, it wasn’t until the morning of the big day that the attendees found out exactly where the ceremony would be taking place:

Of course, for someone like Taylor Swift, I would 100% be down to go through all of these hoops to attend the wedding, and in hindsight, it’s all understandable why they would go through all this trouble. Plus, it sounds like the wedding went off without a hitch, and everyone had a great time (even if they had to go through quite the process just to get there).

It kind of felt like anyone with a connection to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce was at their wedding. From musicians to athletes to actors and more, the star-studded event held at Madison Square Garden was the place to be on July 3. Coincidentally, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani also got married on that day five years ago. So, I can see why fans think the singers celebrated their anniversary at Swift’s wedding.

Five years after Stefani and Shelton tied the knot, they proved they are still going strong with a celebratory anniversary post. Then, a few weeks later, the No Doubt frontwoman posted about how they spent their big day; take a look:

As you can see, the former Voice coaches got all glammed up on July 3, and they seem to have celebrated in a big city (possibly New York City). While Stefani didn’t confirm what they got all dressed up for, their outfits certainly match the vibe of the other guests who attended Tayvis' wedding. Plus, it really does look like they could have been in NYC. So, I totally get why fans were commenting things like:

• Was this Taylor’s wedding?
• Looks like y’all went to a certain wedding. 😉 💍
• Ahhh - she said they are celebrating THEIR five year anniversary.
• Yes, and their anniversary was the same day as the wedding.
• Taylor and Travis……
• I was thinking “where could they possibly be going” and it hit me. 😂

Again, we don’t actually know if Stefani and Shelton were at MSG on July 3. However, it certainly seems like they were. The guest list included country singers, like Maren Morris (who posted about the wedding favors), Kelsea Ballerini, Brad Paisley, Little Big Town and many more. So, it’d track if Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani were there too.

Plus, Swift has a pretty direct connection to the couple, as she has been on The Voice multiple times. Her first appearance was during Season 4 as Usher’s advisor. However, during Seasons 7 and 17, she mentored all four teams and worked directly with Shelton and Stefani, who were coaches during both seasons.

Now, radio hosts, actors and so many more were invited to the wedding Adam Sandler officiated, so it seems perfectly logical that Shelton and Stefani were too.

At first, it seemed a bit odd to celebrate an anniversary at someone else’s wedding. However, upon further reflection, I actually think it would be super fun and sweet to honor an anniversary while celebrating love in general. So, if Stefani and Shelton did indeed spend their five-year anniversary at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding, I’d imagine it was a wonderful experience. Plus, in the video itself, the “Hollaback Girl” singer did say that it was a “really fun five-year anniversary,” so whatever they did was a good way to spend the day.

Anyway, whether they were at the wedding or not, July 3 is now not only Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s anniversary, but Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s too. That by itself is worth celebrating; however, I do hope they all got to honor the day together.

We’ve heard the stories from inside Madison Square Garden on July 3 — the advice Adam Sandler gave to newlyweds Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, the song lyric-embroidered wedding favors, and we’ve even gotten to glimpse Swift’s wedding band at this point. But how long is the “Opalite” singer going to torture us by withholding her wedding photos? Insiders are weighing in on the next steps.

Your English teacher and your gym teacher’s nuptials were reportedly quite “intimate,” according to guests of the celebrity wedding, but Swifties would love to see some non-AI images from Swift and Kelce’s big night, thank you very much. Since the pizza guy apparently didn’t do any snooping, it sounds like we’re at the mercy of the couple themselves. According to Rob Shuter of Naughty But Nice, sources say the bride is allegedly waiting for the perfect moment, and the pics will be worth the wait. One insider said:

Well, any Swiftie who’s ever clowned definitely knows how good Taylor Swift is at building hype around an expected release. Right now she’s on her honeymoon with Travis Kelce, with only a week or so left before he has to report for training camp, so I guess we’ll have to trust what Kylie Kelce supposedly told a fan (per US Weekly) that the photos will come out “eventually” and let them “bask in it” for now.

When the day does come, insiders insist she’s not making a cash grab. A second source said:

What will happen after that is unknown. There was a film crew present, and while it’s perfectly normal for a couple to immortalize their wedding events in such a way, a third source thinks there will be a larger creative endeavor:

Will that be another concert film of sorts? A documentary? Coffee table book? Will Taylor Swift’s wedding be the inspiration for her oh-so-important 13th album??

None of those questions can be answered yet, but we have to take comfort in the promise that something is coming “eventually.” Maybe when football season starts again, Taylor Swift’s schedule will be freed up a little to work on that, since she allegedly plans to stay in Missouri with her tight end.

Take deep breaths, Swifties — we’ve survived the wait for the “Taylor’s Versions” (though a girl could do with some new vault tracks, while we’re asking for stuff) and we’ll be able to weather the wait for wedding photos until the mastermind is ready to reveal them.

The tight end also globetrotted to several of her shows. So while they may have homes all over the country, there’s no secret where Swift will reportedly be this football season. Travis Kelce’s schedule will largely be set by the Kansas City Chiefs as long as he’s playing football, but Taylor Swift has more flexibility, and friends reportedly say the couple has made a promise to each other to not risk their marriage by living separate lives, as the insider said:

Whether or not that means we’ll be seeing more of Taylor Swift at the Chiefs’ home games remains to be seen. While some girl dads were able to bond with their Swiftie daughters when the “Love Story” singer started showing up to NFL games, others thought TV broadcasts were “overdoing it” with the Swift coverage.

Last season, Taylor Swift seemed to be making an effort to stay out of the spotlight at Chiefs games, but either way, according to the insider, nothing will stop her from supporting her man:

But, apparently, Kelce is hoping to make a name for himself in the entertainment world another way. Though he just resigned to a three-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this year, Kelce apparently still wants to develop his promising Hollywood career, With that, the sportsman is reportedly turning to the man who officiated his wedding for help: Adam Sandler.

Travis Kelce may have come to fame through becoming a football star, and subsequently Taylor Swift’s other half, but his future in media seems bright. However, as with many athletes who enter Hollywood, there’s a certain level of proof audiences need to see before they consider you a true actor, over just a cameo. Kelce made a splash hosting Saturday Night Live in 2023, but a source claimed to In Touch Weekly that the Chiefs player really needed someone to take a bigger chance on him, and one Hollywood vet allegedly took him under his wing:

Kelce had dabbled in a few TV guest spots like Ryan Murphy’s Grotesquerie and Moonbase 8, but Sandler's Happy Gilmore 2 was his first feature movie credit. On that note, the NFL superstar reportedly couldn’t ask for better experience:

While Benito “Bad Bunny” Antonio Martinez Ocasio truly stole the show as a new comedic talent, Kelce was no slouch, proving he also carried a solid set of acting chops in his few scenes. One of the best moments of the whole movie involved Ocasio's Oscar slathering a shirtless Kelce in honey to be mauled by a bear in a revenge fantasy.

I could definitely see the Murder Mystery actor welcoming Travis Kelce into his Happy Madison family, and I would support more of this unexpected dynamic duo. It’s been two weeks since Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce officially became husband and wife, and we still can’t seem to stop talking about it. Fans are diving into who was invited (Karlie Kloss) and who wasn’t there (Swift’s godchildren), and that first look at her wedding ring. It’s not just Swifties and celebrities who are marveling over it, either, as one New York police officer commented that the celebrity wedding was unlike anything he’s seen in 35 years.

I imagine being a cop in NYC for three and a half decades would mean you’ve seen a little bit of everything, including parades, foreign dignitaries and other large-scale events. However, according to former NYPD department chief Kenneth Corey, there’s never been another wedding like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s. He told The New York Times:

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the Life of a Showgirl artist’s nuptials fell during quite a busy time for the NYPD. Officers had already racked up a ton of overtime due to the New York Knicks’ NBA Finals games, championship and parade, not to mention the World Cup matches that the city hosted. In addition to Taylor Swift’s wedding, there were also other scheduled events for that weekend to celebrate the country’s 250th birthday. According to Kenneth Corey:

It’s pretty wild (some might say impressive) that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding was big enough to stun a former NYPD department chief, but I don’t think anybody really expected this power couple to go low-key with their big day.

Now, Pat McAfee has joined the list of folks who didn’t fully believe they'd been invited at first. But thankfully, Travis Kelce saved the day for him.

McAfee made it abundantly clear that he was out of the loop about the wedding for the most part. In fact, he was also suspicious when it was rumored that the wedding would happen at Madison Square Garden. Overall, he really didn’t believe he’d even gotten an invite, as he explained on The Pat McAfee Show:

He didn’t even think twice about it; he just deleted it and moved on. However, then he got another text a week later. After someone said it must have felt like a Ponzi scheme, McAfee agreed, saying:

So, he didn’t just delete the text once; he got rid of it twice. Honestly, we’re entering the territory of him not being able to attend the wedding because he really didn’t think the invite was legit. However, thankfully Travis Kelce himself stepped in, as the sports broadcaster recalled:

Kelce has been a guest on McAfee’s show numerous times and has spoken about Swift on it. McAfee has also been a guest on New Heights. So, the two are very friendly with each other. Therefore, it’s not super shocking he got invited. However, if I were in his shoes, I likely would have still been surprised when that link got texted to me, especially since celebrity events like this tend to be plagued by rumors and AI images. All that is to say, I get why he thought this was a scam until the tight end texted him.

McAfee went on to say that they didn’t give all the information about the wedding at once. In fact, despite rumors about MSG being the couple’s venue, he didn’t know the wedding would be there until the day before it happened.

However, he ended up making it to the venue on time, and I bet he left with a “So it’s gonna be forever” napkin to prove it. I think he has Travis Kelce to thank for all that too, because had he not texted him, I can’t help but wonder whether Pat McAfee would have ever figured out that those texts were a legit invitation.

If the reports are true, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are currently on their honeymoon! After they tied the knot in a big way at Madison Square Garden on July 3, the couple are ready to celebrate being newlyweds. And if they happen to be heading Down Under, Robert Irwin has a wild idea for them!

Irwin offered up the Australia Zoo as a possible wedding venue – him and his family do own the place, after all. We know that the couple didn’t take him up on the offer, but he’s not backing down. Its multi-bedroom cabins cost in the neighborhood of $1.5k (US dollars) per night. An opulent place to stay plus all the views of majestic animals? I’m all in on Irwin’s pitch!

But, what’s the latest on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s alleged honeymoon? Daily Mail spotted the pair emerging from a plane in Palm Beach, Florida over the weekend. This comes after the pair jetted off to Montana right after their wedding. Then they went off to attendNFL star JuJu Smith-Schuster’s wedding in Orange County, California on July 11 before taking flight to Florida. We’d be very surprised if Swift and Kelce’s last stop on the honeymoon was in Palm Beach, but we don’t know much about their itinerary. And hey, who can blame these two for wanting a little privacy on their honeymoon?

The couple just successfully pulled off a huge wedding at New York City’s MSG, which was reportedly often called “intimate” by its many guests. Swift and Kelce allegedly welcomed around 1,000 guests to the ceremony that Adam Sandler officiated. We’ll have to wait and find out where the pair decided to enjoy their post-wedding holiday.

Meanwhile, Robert Irwin is the host of a new Dancing With The Stars competition series called The Next Pro. The premiere came out this week, and new episodes are on ABC and Hulu every Monday until August 31.

It’s been just over a week since America’s royal wedding between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, and people are still buzzing about it. The superstar couple made big headlines with their Madison Square Garden wedding that shut down a few streets in New York City and brought out many Hollywood and sports stars. It seemed like anyone who was anyone got an invite, and that included Shania Twain. However, she was not in attendance, and man, she made it clear that her absence was a bummer!

Twain did, in fact, get an invite to Swift and Kelce's massive (yet intimate) wedding, which isn’t a surprise. Swift started in country, and the “Opalite” singer admitted she was inspired by Twain as she transitioned into pop. However, the "Any Man of Mine" singer revealed to eTalk that she couldn’t attend the wedding, even though she would have loved to. The reason is both a bummer and ironic, and it just shows how schedules can really get in the way:

The country superstar opened up for Harry Styles during his 12-night residency at Wembley Stadium in London for his Together, Together tour. The shows ran from June 12 to July 4, and unfortunately, the Tayvis wedding was on July 3. So, Twain not only just missed it, but also had to open for Styles on the same day Kelce and Swift got married.

It is funny knowing that Twain couldn’t attend because she was opening up for Swift’s ex-boyfriend. However, according to Variety, Styles also reportedly got an invite to the wedding, but of course, he couldn’t attend either because of his tour. His better half, Zoë Kravitz, was in attendance as she is one of Swift’s very good friends.

At the very least, Twain knew about the invite and simply couldn’t go. Meanwhile, some people have been revealing that they got invited to the wedding but thought it was a scam, and I would never forgive myself if that happened to me. Thankfully, that didn't happen to Twain, and while she really wanted to be there, she also had a good reason for missing it.

Meanwhile, more details are being released about the Tayvis wedding, and we finally got a look at Swift’s wedding ring thanks to the fact that they attended Juju Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk’s wedding in California. Vogue posted pictures from the New York Giants wide receiver and fitness instructor’s outdoor ceremony on Instagram that included the newlyweds with Tayvis, and Swift was seemingly rocking a new ring stack.

As of now, official photos from the Tayvis wedding have not been released, but the Internet is going wild with AI photos, as it did with Zendaya and Tom Holland’s fake wedding photos. However, once we get a real look inside MSG, you best believe I'll be taking it all in. Based on what Shania Twain said about missing the ceremony, I'd guess she will be too.

We’ve heard stories about what happened at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding inside Madison Square Garden, and their guests have posted photos of their outfits and the favors the couple gave out. However, we haven’t gotten any official photos from the event. So, we haven’t seen their looks or anything that happened during the “intimate” ceremony. We have seen Swift's ring, though, thanks to photos from a totally different celebrity wedding.

Exactly one week after Swift and Kelce announced that they were “JUST&T MARRIED” in NYC, Juju Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk tied the knot in California. Vogue captured the New York Giants wide receiver and the fitness instructor’s wedding, and the Instagram post about it included an image of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce with the couple. When you look at the second photo in this carousel, make sure to pay attention to the pop star’s left ring finger specifically:

As you can see, Swift is rocking a massive diamond ring, and it’s on obvious display as she stood with Smith-Schuster, Kruk and Kelce. Now, we don’t really have details about the ring. However, InStyle reported that the pop star was rocking a ring stack made up of her opulent and large engagement ring and a wedding band.

Swift has been wearing her engagement ring designed by Kindred Lubeck since she and Kelce got engaged last summer. Over the last year, it’s been fun to see her show it off occasionally and make it a part of her daily wardrobe. Now, I’m looking forward to getting a closer look at not only her wedding band, but Travis Kelce’s too.

I do think it’s worth noting that this is the first clear look we’ve gotten at Swift’s wedding ring stack. Before this, there were paparazzi photos from Smith-Schuster and Kruk’s ceremony that confirmed Swift and Kelce were wearing new rings. However, this is the best look we’ve gotten so far.

Notably, we haven’t gotten any official wedding photos of Swift and Kelce. Considering they did post engagement photos, I assume wedding images will come eventually. However, for now, the closest thing we have are these images from a different couple's wedding.

For some context about how Swift and Kelce are connected to these newlyweds, the New Heights host and Smith-Schuster played together on the Kansas City Chiefs. While Swift’s husband has played for the same team his whole career, Smith-Schuster has bounced around a bit. He started with the Pittsburgh Steelers before joining the Kansas City Chiefs for a season. He then played for the New England Patriots before going back to the Chiefs, where he stayed from 2024 to 2025. Now, he plays for the Giants.

However, clearly he’s stayed close to his former teammates, seeing as both Kelce and Patrick Mahomes were at his wedding.

So, all this is to say, I guess we should thank Juju Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk for not only having beautiful wedding photos generally, but for also giving us a great look at Taylor Swift’s ring from her own wedding.

After all that’s happened between Taylor Swift and Blake Lively — including the alleged text threats during Lively’s legal battle and their exchanges becoming like a “mass corporate email sent to 200 employees” — it was really not a shock that the Gossip Girl star and Ryan Reynolds didn’t receive invitations to the celebrity wedding of the year. That’s a pretty harsh snub, though, especially considering Swift is the godmother to all four of Lively and Reynolds’ kiddos. It turns out, though, that they weren’t the only godchildren left off the guest list.

Jaime King Responds After She And Son Weren’t Invited To Taylor And Travis’ Wedding

With a reported 1,000 people invited to see Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce get “JUST&T MARRIED” at Madison Square Garden on July 3, it’s hard to believe anyone close to The Life of a Showgirl artist would have gotten left behind — especially a friend like Jaime King who was close enough to Swift to make her the godmother to her son Leo.

However, Jaime King’s publicist Jane Owen downplayed any rumors of bad blood following news that the actress and her 10-year-old son had been left off the list. She told Page Six:

Taylor Swift grew close to the Hart of Dixie actress in 2014, with Jaime King asking Swift the next year to be Leo’s godmother. The publicist said the mother and son marked the occasion in their own way:

It’s not unheard of for couples to make weddings a child-free affair, but we do know some little ones were in attendance — Jason and Kylie Kelce’s daughters reportedly served as flower girls.

Where Does Taylor Swift Stand As Godmother To Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds’ Kids?

Taylor Swift is also the godmother to Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ four children — James, 11, Inez, 9, Betty, 6, and Olin, 3 — and wedding slight aside, there have been lots of questions about what that means now that Swift and Lively’s friendship is (seemingly) over. There were even rumors that Swift was considering formally removing herself as the children’s godmother.

Sources for Naughty But Nice podcaster Rob Shuter report that Taylor Swift’s relationship with the Reynolds children has allegedly faded after her drama with their parents. They said:

Taylor Swift still has love for the little ones, another source said, but her proximity to them is dependent on her relationship with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds — who Travis Kelce allegedly had issues with even before their wives’ legal drama — and being left off of the wedding guest list is reportedly something they will “never forgive” Swift for.

It’s a shame when children get mixed up in their parents’ drama, but at least all seems friendly enough between Taylor Swift and Jaime King.

Details continue to come out about what happened on the night that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were “JUST&T MARRIED” at Madison Square Garden, with Swifties having to sort through the AI nonsense and baseless rumors. There are some things that seem safe to state as fact — like Karlie Kloss getting a surprise invite and others almost missing the nuptials when they mistook their invitation for spam. Now, there’s a new rumor floating around about one huge name who reportedly was left off the guest list due to “optics.”

Despite Taylor Swift’s support for Kamala Harris in the presidential election, the former vice president was apparently not invited to witness the biggest celebrity wedding of the year. Wanting to keep politics out of your big day is completely understandable, but according to Naughty But Nice substacker Rob Shuter, Harris was allegedly pretty bummed out about the snub. One source said:

If true, one definitely can’t blame Kamala Harris for having such a relatable reaction, but I also understand why Taylor Swift might have made that decision. Politics would have been such a terrible thing to bring up at what was clearly designed to be a happy, fun-filled event. Also, if anyone were capable of upstaging Swift on her own wedding day, it would have to be someone as notable as the ex-veep. Another insider claimed:

Regardless of who did and did not make the guest list, hopefully the night was filled with talk of Adam Sandler’s advice to Taylor and Travis, the huge late-night pizza delivery to Madison Square Garden and how intimate the evening was, despite the thousand guests, all of the games, raffles, food stations, performances and more.

Yeah, I can definitely understand if Kamala Harris is truly sad she missed out on this one.

Travis Kelce is a lot of things. He’s the guy on the Chiefs, a three-time Super Bowl champion, and now Mr. Taylor Swift following the wedding of the century. That’s not all, however. He is also deemed Bowen Yang’s “straight male friend for life,” and the Saturday Night Live alum just revealed how Kelce earned that title.

In 2023, Kelce hosted SNL during Season 48 (which fans can watch with a Peacock subscription) and he was in some pretty memorable sketches. Yang revealed they’ve DMed but have yet to get to the stage where they’re texting a lot. However, Kelce wanted to reunite with Yang, it just didn’t work out. But it’s clear that they definitely have a special bond.

This just makes me sad that the NFL player was unable to return to SNL after hosting the show for the first time before Yang departed in December. Assuming Kelce hosts the variety sketch series again in the future, perhaps Yang could make a surprise appearance for his straight male friend for life. SNL is known for celebrity cameos, especially when they come out of left field, so you never know. At the very least, it sounds like this friendship is not going down so easily, and it’s even more evident after Yang reportedly attended the MSG Tayvis wedding.

It’s been over three years since Kelce hosted SNL, and it’s hard to imagine how his friendship with Yang would have been like if he never stepped on the Studio 8H stage. If there even would be a friendship. Yang might have to thank Heidi Gardner for his straight male friend for life, as she previously revealed the story behind Kelce hosting SNL. Lorne Michaels had just one requirement, which was for Kelce to win the Super Bowl. So it wasn’t a surprise when he hosted not long after the Chiefs won Super Bowl LVII.

Yang may no longer be on SNL and we probably won’t get a “Straight Male Friend” sketch 2.0 if Kelce ever hosts again. But at the very least, their friendship probably won’t die any time soon. That “for life” that Yang mentioned seems to be forever, and I’m glad to see this is yet another SNL sketch that has made it out of SNL. It’s not the same as an SNL character getting a movie, but it’s pretty close.

From the outside looking in, getting an invitation to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden must have felt like getting a golden ticket. However, for some, it also felt unreal. That’s actually an accurate way to describe it too, because according to a few wedding guests, they really thought their invitations were a scam.

According to BBC Radio 1’s Greg James, his invitation arrived in the form of a link. While chatting on the radio (via People), he explained that it came “in the middle of the night” right before he was about to do a 620-mile bike ride for charity. At first, he just thought it was wild, saying:

I mean, I didn’t even fully believe they were married until I saw the “JUST&T MARRIED” billboard outside the venue, because the whole event had been surrounded by so much secrecy and speculation.

Anyway, all that is to say, I get why guests didn’t fully believe they got an invite. The high-profile nature of the event and the fact that invitations were sent out digitally are certainly good reasons to be suspicious.

Those facts worked against a potential pair of guests too. According to Melissa Garner Lee, her husband, Garret “Jacknife” Lee, accidentally deleted their invite because he “thought it was spam.” He worked on the Red album with Swift, and his wife was aghast that they didn’t go to the wedding because he ignored the invitation. Writing more about this in HuffPost, she explained:

She went on to say that her partner had gotten a text from Swift’s manager, but he “didn’t respond to it” because it “didn’t sound like him.”

Listen, in an age of spam calls and texts and in a world where AI wedding photos are common, I get why he didn’t believe it. However, in this case, he really should have, 'cause it was real.

Although his suspicion wasn’t unwarranted, as Maren Morris also didn’t believe her invite was real at first, as she said on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mashup:

At the time, she didn’t confirm if it was real. However, Morris did go to the wedding, and she even posted a photo of Swift and Kelce’s wedding favor to prove it. So, I guess she eventually trusted the text and realized she really did get an invitation.

A bunch of people must have gone through that too, seeing as there were reportedly 1,000 people at the ceremony that’s also been described as “intimate.”

Overall, these stories are all quite amusing. It’s undeniable that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding was one of the most highly anticipated events of the year, and it was shrouded in secrecy for a long time. So, yeah, getting a coveted invitation (that came by way of text or link) would be pretty unbelievable…to the point that it’s worth wondering if it's a scam.

There was no doubt in my mind that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding cost a pretty penny. I had assumed that it would since the moment the pop star and football player got engaged. However, now we really do know it was an expensive event to put on, as the amount of money the couple allegedly paid New York City has been revealed.

Obviously, a wedding at Madison Square Garden wouldn’t be cheap. However, it was still shocking to learn from TMZ that Swift and Kelce allegedly paid the city of New York $60,000 for a permit to close the street by the venue.

For context, 7th Avenue by MSG was closed for this wedding. That’s a major street in a very busy part of Midtown Manhattan, and a lot of people use it (which is allegedly why New Yorkers were upset about the event), so it tracks that it’d be pricey to shut down. However, the couple allegedly wanted to do it so their guests could get in and out of the venue without having to worry about traffic and lots of people.

Notably, word about these permits to close the streets around The Garden was what convinced me that this wedding was really happening. The New York Times reported the news, noting that the couple requested to have the streets shut down from July 2 to midday July 4, seeing as their wedding was on July 3.

The $60K permit was not the only expensive item on the wedding “Wi$h Li$t” though. According to the report, it cost about $1 million per night to rent MSG. Plus, the couple reportedly spent $4,000 on pizzas from Mama’s, and it’s been alleged that one of Swift’s bags that cost $6,700 was raffled off, while the couple also apparently gave away Cartier watches and a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle.

So, while Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding has been described as “intimate,” it was still a very big and very expensive event.

All around, the party seemed to go off without a hitch, and the wedding left many guests swooning. And it wasn’t just Swift and Kelce who guests were gushing about; there’s also been high praise for Adam Sandler, who officiated the ceremony.

Now, the question becomes: When will we get to see real photos of this opulent event? I’ve seen the images of the closed streets. I want to see the inside of Madison Square Garden. So far, nothing official has been released, and there have been AI wedding photos making the rounds. However, considering the fact that we got engagement pictures and lots of guests have posted about going to the wedding, I’m optimistic that Swift and Kelce will give us a peek into their big (and spendy) day.

For now, though, I’ll take the details as they come in. And today, that detail had to do with the massive amount of money the newlyweds spent to obtain a permit that would allow them to close the streets around MSG during their big day.

Also, considering he was seen playing basketball hours and then picking up coffees before the wedding, it would seem that he really didn’t put much preparation into officiating right before the ceremony.

However, his speech seemed to be received well, with Reid calling it “phenomenal.” That’s not surprising either, especially since the comedian loves both Swift and Kelce, and that feeling is clearly reciprocated.

Notably, this wedding happened about a year after Travis Kelce had a cameo in Happy Gilmore 2, and Taylor Swift laughed about the movie and fans thinking she was the bear in it. Between making the venue look like a garden and also inviting their friends and neighbors alongside the various A-listers, they really were able to make it very intimate, as Robin Roberts noted:

We do know Swift’s childhood best friend, Abigail Anderson Berard, was in attendance, and it’s no secret how close Kelce is with his friends from his hometown. Apparently the owner of a local pizza place delivered some pies to the venue, and let’s be real — he definitely snooped around, right?

Multiple food stations were set up for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding guests, in addition to a reportedly late-night order made to Mama’s TOO! Pizzeria. Around 100 pizzas were allegedly delivered, US Weekly reports, with a sampling of almost every pie on the Mama’s menu at an estimated cost of around $3,000.

Mama’s TOO! reportedly had all hands on deck to cover the large order, so while this apparently occurred later in the evening, it doesn’t sound like it was sprung on the pizzeria unexpectedly.

In that case, is it possible that the owner had an opportunity to peek around a bit? I can’t speak for them — and I’m sure they maintained the utmost professionalism — but I would have had trouble not “accidentally” wandering down the wrong hallway, if you know what I mean. There definitely would have been a, “Ma’am, you’re not supposed to be in here,” situation.

Regardless of how the pizza order went down, reports indicate nobody went hungry while celebrating “your English teacher and your gym teacher.” Grub options reportedly included stations serving pasta, sushi, salads, filet mignon, lobster and a variety of Chinese, Italian and American fare. A Krispy Kreme truck was seen arriving at the venue, and TMZ reports there were around 30 different cakes, each topped with a 3D figure of the newlyweds, in addition to several other options to satisfy a sweet tooth.

With 1,000 guests, though, there’s bound to be a few hurdles. One TMZ source called the dinner scene "a bit of a s--- show," and with no formal sit-down meal, attendees were allegedly made to wait in long buffet lines for their food. There were reports that some ate standing up because there weren’t enough seats.

However, DeuxMoi’s anonymous sources disputed those claims, saying that everything went pretty perfectly from a food standpoint. Yes, there was an initial rush on the service stations following the ceremony, but lines reportedly dispersed quickly as attendees spread out through the venue.

Liam Hemsworth was in the Garden to see Adam Sandler officiate Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s ceremony, and naturally he brought along his fiancée, Gabriella Brooks, who posted what looked like pre-wedding pics of her and the Hunger Games star on Instagram. Fans were quick to pick up on Brooks’ connection to Swift, as both used to date The 1975 frontman Matty Healy.

Could Kloss wearing gold indicate she’s back in the inner circle?

We may not know what it all means, but it’s nice that someone who was once so close to Taylor Swift was invited to share this moment with her. We’ll have to wait to see if the two cross paths more often.

So many Taylor Swift songs have been blasted at weddings, and during the Eras Tour, many people “knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring” while the pop star literally sang “Love Story”. So, it tracks that when it came to Swift’s own wedding, she and Travis Kelce also used some of the “You Belong With Me” singer’s lyrics to celebrate. In fact, they picked an amazing (and kinda unexpected) lyric to put on their wedding favors that I’m obsessed with.

After the world found out that Swift and Kelce were “JUST&T MARRIED” on July 3, the A-list guests started posting about the experience. Singer Maren Morris uploaded some cute outfit pictures with fellow singer Kelsea Ballerini about the event that was held at Madison Square Garden, with the caption that gave a nod to Swift’s song, “Love Story.” Meanwhile, the final image in her photo dump reveals that the married couple decided to quote “Blank Space” on their wedding favors; take a look:

As you can see, the newlyweds had custom napkins at their ceremony that had the date of their wedding, its location, a logo that features two Ts and two hearts, and a song lyric embroidered on them. That lyric is:

That line is from Swift’s megahit from 1989, “Blank Space.” It’s a unique choice, considering that the song is not a love song, but rather a commentary on the public’s perception of the singer’s love life (as its great music video makes abundantly clear). I mean, the full line is “So it’s gonna be forever, or it’s gonna go down in flames.” However, when you take the line out of context, it’s actually perfect for a wedding.

Plus, there’s more meaning behind this choice too. Travis Kelce is on the record (via theschmo312) saying that “Blank Space” is one of his favorite Taylor Swift songs. He’s also a fan of “Shake It Off” (clearly he’s a 1989 guy), and he obviously loves “So High School” and “The Alchemy,” which are, you know, about him. However, it would seem "Blank Space" may be his top fave if these napkins tell us anything about this topic.

So, with all that considered, and thinking about the impact “Blank Space” had on pop culture and Swift’s career, it’s honestly such a great choice for a wedding favor.

I did think that they’d go for “It’s a love story, baby just say ‘yes’” or “I feel so high school” or “Who are we to fight the alchemy” first. They also could have used a line from one of The Life of a Showgirl's “twelve bangers,” as Kelce once described it, considering a few of those songs, like “The Fate of Ophelia” and “Opalite,” seem to be about how happy the pop star is with the football player.

However, they went with the “Blank Space” line, and I truly am so here for it. At first, it was a surprising choice. But the more I thought about it, the better it got, especially because not only is the line fitting for a wedding, but it’s also one of Travis Kelce’s favorite Taylor Swift songs.

However, this wedding was so massive, it even got a reaction from the White House. People have strong feelings about its over-the-top post, too.

After it was announced that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were officially married, The White House took to X to react. President Donald Trump’s team posted a photo of the MSG billboard and photoshopped it to say:

That message replaced the “JusT&T married” sign. Then, like people’s reactions to the original billboard, folks on X had passionate things to say about this version of it, writing things like:

This also came after The White House’s X account posted an image that is clearly inspired by Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour poster, but featured photos from American history as well as images of Trump. That was followed by a video that featured a banner that read “The American Era,” while the caption read: “NEXT ON AMERICA’S ERAS TOUR.” This all comes as the United States celebrates its 250th anniversary. Plus, while Swift’s wedding was on the 3rd in New York City, down in Washington D.C., Trump will hold a “TRUMP RALLY” and the “LARGEST FIREWORKS SHOW IN HISTORY” on the 4th.

Notably, the pop star and Trump have been critical of each other, and Swift endorsed Kamala Harris during the last presidential election.

Now, with all that being said, I’m sure people will have more things to say about both versions of this billboard. Meanwhile, I’m also sure Swift and Kelce are celebrating their big day, while America celebrates its milestone anniversary.

Influencers watched myriad items being dropped off at Madison Square Garden this week, and last night we saw noted associates of Swift like Tree Paine and her childhood friend Abigail in formalwear.

It’s been a bit of a frenzy.

While all of these moments have been cited, I think it’s worth pointing out that fans are so interested in clues about the who, what, when and where of this over-the-top event, that people have been sleuthing out things like seemingly innocuous Selena Gomez posts and even Mama Donna’s flight plans. Let’s talk it out.

Selena Gomez Wore A Black Dress To Promote Rare Beauty… On The Way To Event

While we didn’t get a head-to-toe peek at a dress Selena Gomez was seemingly (maybe)(hopefully) wearing out last night, she did post a video to her socials in which she was launching a new Rare Beauty product. However, instead of posting in front of her makeup mirror, which we’ve seen before, she did it from a private car on the way to what seemed to be a Black tie event.

The timing of the post came as reports indicated Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s rehearsal dinner was getting underway. Of course, Gomez would be expected to be there. The two are close friends, and Taylor was even responsible for hyping up the bride at the entrepreneur and Benny Blanco’s own nuptials just last year. The celebrity fashion lover in me does wish she had just teased a little more of that black dress though, because I love the silhouette that we can see.

Fans, of course, made the assumption this was Gomez’s look for the event – and a smart way to market Rare Beauty, too. It certainly had my attention.

Mama Donna Kelce’s Flight Arrival Was All Over The Internet

Taylor Swift’s jet usage used to be a big topic of conversation. Not only does she take private jets a lot, but at one point a Twitter user used to post her movements and follow her around the world. Ergo, fans going out of their way to follow flights is actually not the most unusual thing in the world. Still, fans being so desperate for wedding news they followed Travis Kelce’s mom Donna from Kansas City is pretty wild to me.

Donna Kelce was seen walking around at LaGuardia Airport on Thursday, July 2nd. Someone caught a video, and she had small luggage with her (and presumably had checked more). It’s also worth noting a member of her party seemed to be carrying a formal bag suitable for a suit or a dress. As you probably well know, LaGuardia is a New York-based hub, so Mama Donna was confirmed to be in New York as of yesterday. She’s joining Kelce, who was spotted on a run in the city as early as June 30th.

Other celebrities seen out and about in New York also included Sabrina Carpenter, who broke big after opening for the “Love Story” singer. Musicians Ed Sheeran and Jack Antonoff were spotted around stateside, and Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper were expected to attend. Erin Andrews was also seen in formalwear as the alleged rehearsal dinner went down last night in the early evening.

She is a mastermind, and we are vigilant!

Also, let’s be real, this was two days before Travis Kelce’s rumored wedding. We’re somehow supposed to think that any mention of a “long weekend” ISN’T related to all of the activity that’s been reported outside Madison Square Garden this week or the alleged hiring of a professional film crew for the big event? What’s a more-guaranteed core memory than your wedding day?

Of course, both Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have had 30-plus years of Fourth of July memories — and even a few together — so the NFL star’s mischievous smile could easily have been from him conjuring an unrelated memory.

Now, as we’re mere days away from the alleged July 3 celebration at Madison Square Garden, sources are speaking out about the real reason they bailed on an Ocean State ceremony.

As reports flood in about everything from Taylor Swift’s bridesmaids to the surprising rule for her wedding guests, insiders are suggesting that initial reports of a June wedding in Rhode Island were actually correct. Recently, reports have come out about permits being filed that seem to prove that Swift and Kelce will get married at Madison Square Garden. Specifically, the NYT reported that one was filed to close the streets around the venue from July 2 to midday July 4. That falls in line with the couple’s alleged July 3 wedding date. According to insiders who spoke to Rob Shuter, it’s these supposed street closures that are upsetting New Yorkers, as one source claimed:

Now, as someone who regularly uses the trains to get into and out of New York City, I can see why New Yorkers would be annoyed by street closures. Notably, MSG is right on top of Penn Station, which is one of the primary stations people use to get around. If the streets are closed around it, it makes getting into and out of Manhattan significantly more inconvenient (trust me, I know from experience).

To that point, an insider noted that people might be upset about a high-profile wedding impacting their ability to go about their day-to-day lives. Right now, the FIFA World Cup is going on in North America, with Met Life Stadium (currently named New York New Jersey Stadium) holding the rest of its matches on June 30, July 5 and July 19. If fans are staying in NYC, one of the main ways they can get to this venue in New Jersey is by train out of Penn Station. Adding to that, the Fourth of July is a major event in the city, and it’s a peak tourist season. Speaking to all that, an insider claimed:

It should be noted that Manhattan and MSG are no strangers to events that impact the flow of traffic. For example, when the NBA Finals were airing on the 2026 TV schedule, and Taylor Swift was attending games, fans filled the streets to support the Knicks, and there was major traffic control going on around The Garden.
