Hard Reset: Extended Edition Cyber-Punk Trailer, Screenshots

Kalypso Media released a new trailer and some screenshots coming out of GDC 2012 for the upcoming re-release of Hard Reset, Hard Reset: Extended Edition. The trailer shows off some awesome environments, high-tech weapons and lots of cyber-punk goodness.

One of the first things you might notice in the trailer is that the police vehicles floating around share a stark similarity to the floating police cruisers from Ridley Scott's Blade Runner. Awesome homage right there from Flying Wild Hog. The weapons and destruction factors also look flatout amazing, with parts and pieces flying everywhere after every shot. It's almost as if a sci-fi shootout was being directed by Hong Kong action filmmaker, John Woo. Check it out below.

It's great how the game hearkens back to the hey-day of PC shooters, offering gamers a nice cache of over-the-top, destructive weapons and larger-than-life enemies and bosses to blast away as if you were playing a game straight out of 1997.

The other highlight is that PC gamers who enjoy state-of-the-art visual effects and high-end graphics can look forward to all of that in the extended edition of Hard Reset. Flying Wild Hog has supposedly tweaked the game to near-perfection so you're getting an unparalleled shooting experience.

You can look for Hard Reset: Extended Edition to launch for PC DVD this month or learn more by visiting the Official Website.
