100,000 Diablo 3 Beta Keys Sent Out

Last night Blizzard Entertainment sent out a new wave of invitations to Diablo 3's closed beta. The developer said that they sent out over 100,000 in total. If you didn't get in yet, though, don't worry.
To be eligible for the beta, you need to have opted-in through your Battle.net account. The safest way to check if you got into the beta is by logging into your account. While Blizzard sent out email notifications, there's likely a bunch of fake emails floating around too.
"Please be aware that with this large wave of invites we expect there could be an increase in the number of phishing attempts," said Blizzard. "Some unscrupulous individuals send out falsified emails purporting to be from Blizzard, but are in fact meant to steal your login credentials."
Blizzard was careful to note that this isn't the final wave of beta keys. There are still plenty of opportunities to try out D3 before its release.
"If you didn’t receive an invite, never fear! We’re going to continue to give away beta invites, so be on the lookout for promotions, contests, and giveaways on our properties as well as at your favorite fansites. We’ll have more information about these global giveaways as well as regional betas in the coming weeks."
The Diablo 3 beta lets players test out part of the game's first Act. It's not clear when testing will conclude. Blizzard has yet to announce the release date of the full version, but they said they'll do it soon.
